It was an incredible culinary experience. The noodles were really delicious, the broth was authentic and everything was just exquisite. The drinks are super fresh and delicious. We were in Stuttgart for a visit and had some Ramen cravings. We followed a friend’s tip and made our way to Banchoism, and we’re happy we did drive all the way to Fellbach! Not only for that Ramen bowl but for any of the other dishes we would not hesitate to drive back there when we are back in Stuttgart. Had a beautiful dinner with some very yummy dishes. Excellent food quality and very friendly service by both waiters on that Tuesday night. The place was not crowded, probably due to the Champions league match of Stuttgart against Real Madrid…The Tokyo chicken dish was amazing and according to my husband even better than the ones he had in Tokyo recently. I love sashimi in general and was happy with our choice (see pics). We hope to be back one day! Arrigato!

We absolutely loved this place! The food was exceptionally good, exceeding all our expectations. I had almost given up on finding good sushi in Stuttgart and the surrounding area, but this restaurant, oh my!!! **Food:** Every dish we tried was incredibly tasty. We enjoyed a variety of dishes including: - Crunchy sushi rolls (salmon and tuna) - Yakitori don bowl - Tokyo fried chicken curry - Miso soup - Veggie gyoza starters Each item was delicious, though the yakitori don bowl was a standout, even more than the Tokyo fried chicken curry, which was also very tasty. As for drinks, we had Kirin beer and homemade lychee oolong tea which was very refreshing. **Service:** The service was exceptional and very welcoming. The woman who served us was so sweet, friendly, helpful, and charming. She made our dining experience memorable, and on our way home, we found ourselves talking not only about the amazing food but also about the lovely waitress who added to our delightful evening. **Recommendation:** We highly recommend everything on the menu. If you’re looking for a standout dish, the yakitori don bowl is a must-try. Definitely my favorite place now <3 I can’t wait to come back!

I took my husband's parents there, who have never eaten Japanese food, and they were very happy. It seems easier to make sushi for the first time if it is made from vegetables. She seemed to particularly like the crunchy rotebete and salmon curry. I'm looking forward to seeing what you'll try next!

We ordered there for pickup and it was delicious. Despite the packaging, everything was lovingly and deliciously prepared. Sushi was handmade and high quality. You also get chopsticks included. The staff was super friendly and called again when the food was ready to be picked up. The restaurant itself is very small, you should definitely make a reservation if you want to eat on site. Parking is difficult because it is in the old center of Fellbach. We will definitely come/order again.

Authentic Japanese Restaurant! We were greeted very friendly and were allowed to choose a place ourselves despite not having a reservation on a Saturday evening. The drinks were incredibly tasty and lovingly prepared. The food was served quickly and was fantastic. I particularly enjoyed the crunchy spicy salmon. We are very, very satisfied and would love to come back!

A small but really nice shop. Very nice service, well organized and structured. Everything is freshly prepared and cooked here. The food is of the highest quality and beautifully presented. Sushi and bowls are all very good. However, the ramen (currently Shio ramen on the menu) is indescribably good! The broth is so tasty, the ramen noodles are homemade and have a real bite. Definitely stands out strongly compared to other ramen shops in the area. The prices are extremely good in relation to the quality and performance! I recommend making a reservation. And then spend a leisurely hour or two there with good Japanese beer and ramen.

Very elaborate and careful cuisine. We tasted dishes that we had never tasted elsewhere. Fish dishes, of course, but also original elderberry or yuzu drinks. The menu is varied and original, the presentation impeccable. Absolutely worth testing.

Immer wieder genial. Das Essen kommt super frisch aus der Küche und überzeugt jedes Mal aufs neue mit einem genialen Geschmack. Die Karte enthält sämtliche Speisen der japanischen Küche und wird von Zeit zu Zeit erweitert. Besonders die Vorspeisen sind zu empfehlen. Das Sushi ist geschmackvoll und lecker und bietet auch vegetarische Optionen. Eine ganz große Empfehlung!

Die guten Rezensionen haben uns mal wieder neugierig gemacht: Wir hatten telefonisch für 3 Personen reserviert und wurden sehr freundlich und professionell empfangen. Zur Hauptkarte wurde uns noch eine interessante Mittagskarte gereicht. Kurz nach der Bestellung waren die Getränke auf dem Tisch. Insbesondere ist die hausgemachte Limonade eine Empfehlung wert. Der Wakame Salat und das Lachs Sashimi geschmacklich als auch optisch ein Genuss. Die Miso Suppe war ok, aber leider nicht herausragend. Die Sushis und die Bowl sehr, sehr lecker. Das Restaurant befindet sich in einem kleinen Haus in Fellbachs Altstadt und macht von aussen und innen einen modernen und gepflegten Eindruck. Innen herrscht japanische Nüchternheit in der wir uns aber sofort wohlgefühlt haben. Wir fühlten uns für eine gewisse Zeit nach Japan zurückversetzt...Eigentlich wollten wir schon am nächsten Tag wiederkommen, aber dann würde das wirklich tolle Essen leider verblassen.

Haben Sushi abgeholt. Das Sushi war gut aber hat uns nicht vom Hocker gerissen. Die Rollen waren sehr locker gerollt und optisch etwas zu groß, Zutaten geschmacklich und qualitativ gut. Gleichzeitig ist es preislich vergleichbar mit Stuttgarter Restaurants, dafür haben wir uns auf Grund der Bewertungen etwas mehr erwartet. Personal war am Telefon und vor Ort sehr freundlich, zeitlich war das Essen auch genau nach einer halben Stunde fertig.

Das Essen und der Service haben mich so sehr überzeugt, sodass ich jetzt diese Rezension schreiben muss. Angefangen vom top Service. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommen. Hat sehr gute manieren, was man heutzutage leider auch nicht mehr so oft findet. Das Essen ist der Hammer! Von den Getränken, Vorspeise, Hauptgang, Nachgang, es passt alles! Ich liebe es hier. Das Ambiente ist leider etwas kleiner, deshalb meine Empfehlung: Am besten immer reservieren. Bis zum nächsten mal!🖤

A very cozy restaurant tucked in Fellbach, run by an authentic japanese chef. The young japanese staff serving me was polite and helpful, being able to converse in all 3 languages (german, japanese and english). Best to reserve a table for the evening although I was lucky to get one as a walk-in. Restaurant is small but not overwhelming. The deco is tasteful and not garish or stereotypical. The music accompanying the atmosphere matched the relaxing vibe one gets in the restaurant. Even the toilets get a mention here as it is relatively bright, clean and well stocked.. Menu wise: They do offer the typical sushi if you are not open to other dishes but what really differentiates Bancho from the other Japanese restaurants is that they offer a good selection of japanese curry rice. I had the chicken nanda japanese rice and I must say it did not disappoint. The soy pudding dessert is a huge MUST TRY!!! It reminds of back home in Singapore where soy desserts are readily available. As I was dining alone, I could observe the going-ons in the restaurant, the attentiveness of the staff and the speed of when the food was served. I have to say I am really impressed and would definitely come back for the food, if not for the soy pudding! Thumbs up to Bancho and keep up the good work!

Bestes und authentischstes japanisches Essen seit langem und für die Stuttgarter Umgebung ein Geheimtipp. Wahnsinnig guter und frischer Fisch, das bekommt man hier nicht oft. Es gibt sogar Takoyaki (ein Gedicht). Kleines Restaurant mit gemütlicher Atmosphäre und liebe zum Detail. Sehr aufmerksamer und herzlicher Service. Großes Lob!

Im BANCHOism einem authentisch von Japanern betriebenen japanischen Restaurant, fühlte ich mich wieder wie auf meiner Japan Reise. Mit typischen Vorspeisen und den super leckeren Bowls (auch vegetarische). V.a. die Saucen und der Geschmack des Reis haben mir besonders gefallen. Auch der Nachtisch bietet hier eine außergewöhnliche Abwechslung zu dem was ich aus Deutschland kenne. Insgesamt bot das BANCHOism eine authentische Atmosphäre und einen Service, der meine Erwartungen übertraf. Ein absolutes Muss für alle, die auf der Suche nach japanischen Köstlichkeiten sind!

Super lieber Service, sehr leckeres Essen. Kann man sich leider nicht jeden Tag leisten, aber ist sein Geld wert. Draußen könnte man aber Abends noch für etwas mehr Licht sorgen . :)

Ein sehr schöner Laden mit tollem Essen und perfektem Service. Ein Höhepunkt in Fellbach.

Ich habe jetzt schon mehrmals dort gegessen. Das Ambiente des Ein-Raum-Restaurants ist schlicht-modern und gefällt mir sehr gut. Damit ich auch mitbekomme, was meine tischnachbarn links und rechts sich berichten, wurden die Tische im 20 cm Abstand gestellt. Eine überaus reizende Japanerin managt den Service. Gegessen wurden verschiedene Bowls, u.a. eine mit Bezeichnung "Nasu Teriyaki Don". Gekommen ist ein Topf mit mundgerecht geschnittenen und gebratenen Auberginen, süßer Sojasoße, Frühlingszwiebeln und geröstetem Sesam. Das alles auf Sushireis gebettet. Seeehr fein. Die Sushi-Platten sind nicht nur optisch ein Highlight. Variantenreich und einfach was besonderes. Ein unbeschreiblicher Genuss. Sushireis der in sehr dezentem Reisessig-Gemisch gegart wurde. Die Füllungen und wiederum die variantenreichen Toppings lassen mich jedesmal staunen. Vergesst alles was ihr jemals an Sushi gegessen habt. Die besten gibt es bei BANCHOism. Noch ein Wort zu den Toiletten: Ich habe noch nirgends (ich spreche hier von Restaurantbesuchen in 700 verschiedenen Restaurants) so saubere Toiletten vorgefunden .. Sie befinden sich ein paar Treppenstufen höher als das Restaurant und sind nicht barrierefrei ...

Super leckeres Essen. Nicht nur Sushi. Als nicht Fisch Esser kommt man komplett auf seine Kosten.

Banchoism ist eines meiner absoluten Lieblingsrestaurant. Ich war bisher von keinem Essen enttäuscht. Die Qualität ist top, es wird mit viel Liebe zubereitet und auch der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend. Es ist ein authentisches japanisches Restaurant, dass einem das Japangefühl nach Fellbach bringt! Immer wieder gerne!

Wondering what we could get to eat on a German holiday evening, we happened to find a pleasant sushi restaurant in a place where we would never expect it. Original Japanese decor and service. Excellent sushi in all its variations. Perfect rice, tangy ginger, hot wasabi. And the fisch a real delicacy. Thank you.

Ein sehr authentisches, kleines Restaurant mit leckerem Essen (japanische Vorspeisen, Sushi, Bowls) und äußerst nettem Personal. Wir waren zum Mittagstisch dort, sehr faire Preise und fein abgeschmecktes Essen. Auch die selbstgemachte Limonade war lecker und nicht zu süß. Kleine Speisekarte, aber völlig ausreichend. Parkplätze an der Straße oder Parkhaus in der Nähe. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!
