Sehr nette Betreiber, uriges Lokal, familiäres Flair. Grillabende sind besonders nennenswert da diese mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail ablaufen. Verkehrsberuhigt, kinderfreundlich. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert

Waren gestern Abend in der Schlemmeria essen. War Mega Mega tolles Fleisch überm Holzkohlegrill gegrillt. Habe ein Zwiebelrostbraten gegessen, der knapp 5 cm dick war und war einfach nur lecker. Tolles Ambiente. Preisleistung. Super.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hervorragende bayerische Küche mit Herz! Wir waren absolut begeistert von unserem Besuch in der "Schlemmeria im Moos". Wer auf der Suche nach ehrlicher, leckerer bayerischer Küche ist, wird hier definitiv fündig. Die Portionen sind ordentlich und machen definitiv satt – Preis-Leistung ist hier noch absolut angemessen und fair. Das Ambiente ist unglaublich gemütlich und urig, man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Bedienung: unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend, man fühlt sich als Gast sehr willkommen. Ein paar Parkplätze direkt vor der Tür sind ein weiterer Pluspunkt. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert – wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wer Urlaub in Oberstaufen macht muss hier einmal einkehren. Liebhaber deutsche Hausmannskost mit italienischem Einschlag kommen hier voll auf ihre Kosten. Wir hatten den Zwiebelrostbraten und das Rumpsteak. Beides war nicht nur von außerordentlicher Qualität, sondern auch noch hervorragend zubereitet. Der krönende Abschluss war das selbst gemachte Tiramisu. Leider entspricht das äußere Erscheinungsbild der Location nicht dem gemütlichen Inneren. Hiervon und von den Preisen sollte man sich nicht abhalten lassen. Hingehen, testen und überzeugt wieder gehen! Absolute Empfehlung…

Unverhofft dort hingekommen, da Hotelrestaurant nichts mehr frei war. Es war wirklich top, schönes Ambiente passend zur Gegend. Wir hatten gegrilltes Putensteak und Schweinesteak mit Salat und dazu noch Kartoffelrösti. Das Fleisch war saftig und top gegrillt, die selbstgemachte Kräuterbutter dazu war ebenfalls sehr schmackhaft. Der Salat war sehr vielfältig, der Gurkensalat und Kartoffelsalat als Teil des Salats waren besonders gut. Der Kartoffelrösti war sehr lecker, knusprig, nicht zu fettig einfach sehr gut. Das Restaurant ist absolut zu empfehlen, Service war sehr zuvorkommend. Wollten wir wieder in der Nähe sein, gehen wir auf jeden Fall hin. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Klasse Ambiente und ganz tolles Essen. Sowohl groß als auch klein war begeistert. Ein echter Geheimtip.

Tipp etwas abseits deshalb sicherlich wenn viel los ist eine gute Alternative. Von außen sieht es nicht einladend aus aber innen ist es wirklich sehr gemütlich. Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Der Zwiebelrostbraten war auf den Punkt und hatte eine tolle Qualität. Der Geschmack vom Holzkohlegrill ist sehr besonders auch die Kartoffeln dazu haben durch die Kräuter einen italienischen Einschlag erhalten. Die Pasta war auch in Ordnung. Die Preise sind etwas hoch deshalb wegen Preis/ Leistung nur 4 Sterne.

Montag bis Donnerstag gibt es "nur" eine Mittagsversorgung für Handwerker usw. mit 1 Angebotsessen zwischen 12 und 14 Uhr. Wir besuchten das Lokal an einem Dienstag und es gab ein sehr leckeres Nudelgericht. Der Service war schnell und sehr freundlich. Der Gastraum war urig und gemütlich. Zum Wochenende gibt es wohl auch Abendversorgung.

Leider sehr unangenehm. Getränkeauswahl sehr beschränkt. Reservierung für eine größere Gruppe mit angekündigt kleinen Kindern. Kein Nachtisch verfügbar, extrem salzige Pommes Frites. Die Erwachsenen haben nach insgesamt 1,5 Stunden, also 1 Stunde nach den Kindern Essen bekommen. Die handgemachte Pasta war definitiv den Namen und den Preis nicht wert. Tja, und dann noch das Haar in der Pastasosse. Vielleicht nur einen schlechten Tag erwischt. Schade.

Nettes Lokal am Rande von Oberstaufen.

Freundliche Bedienung, sehr schönes Lokal, der beste Zwiebelrostbraten den ich bisher gegessen habe. Wir kommen gerne wieder Update 2026 Januar : Es hat sich nichts an der Bewertung geändert. Wir waren wieder da und es ist weiter der beste Zwiebelrostbraten !

Das Fleisch vom Grill ist lecker, die Pasta war sehr durchschnittlich und deutlich überteuert. Für Vegetarier nicht zu empfehlen, für Fleischliebhaber schon.

In unserem Urlaub waren wir nach dem ersten Besuch so begeistert, dass wir ein zweites Mal herkommen mussten. Warum? 1. das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker. 2. die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und sympathisch. Alles in allem fühlt man sich dort sehr wohl. Verschlägt es uns wieder in die Gegend, kommen wir gerne wieder vorbei.

Wir waren jetzt eine Woche in Oberstaufen und nachdem die ersten beiden Restaurants uns nicht überzeugen konnten (NagelfluhLounge und Pizzeria Roma-Centro) sind wir auf die Schlemmeria im Moos gestoßen. Ja, die Schlemmeria liegt nicht im Ortzentrum von Oberstaufen aber das Essen und der Service ist TOP. Von außen eher unscheinbar, innen rustikal eingerichtet aber das Essen ist jeden Besuch wert. Egal ob Steak, Zwiebel-Rostbraten (beides Entrecote vom Holzkohlegrill), die selbstgemachten Nudeln oder die Schnitzel - alles probiert und für sehr gut befunden.

Durch Zufall gefunden und war sehr begeistert. Reservierung telefonisch, kein Problem. Essen war sehr gut, ich hatte Putenschnitzel vom Grill mit Kartoffelsalat. Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen. 💯

Wir hatten das Parmigiana (2 Schnitzel sehr zarten mit Käse überbacken und einer Tomatensahnesoße drüber mit drei Kartoffelröstie für 23,60€) und den Zwiebelrostbraten (200gr rosa rotes Roastbeef mit Bratgartoffeln und viele gnusprige Zwiebeln für 29,80€). Bedienung sehr nett und das Ambiente klasse bayrisch urig. Kommen morgen gerne wieder.

If you want to enjoy good food, this is the right place.

I was golfing in Oberstaufen this weekend and the Schlemmeria was recommended to me. We wanted to try it right away. Very friendly and attentive service from Meli and Kilian, thank you for giving us a great day. We had fish stew for lunch and then came back in the evening. I had Iberico, which was sensational, and my friend had veal. Also very tasty, and the Fermentiono that accompanied it was also excellent. So, Schlemmeria is a must for anyone who wants to come hungry and leave full. The ambiance is a bit rustic, but no problem, it's cozy. I'd love to come back, and I'll definitely be coming here for my next golf event.

An insider tip in Oberstaufen! Fantastic steak from the wood grill. We had a great meal here; everything was perfect: the steak, the side dishes, the service, the espresso—everything was simply fantastic.

The Schlemmeria is worth a visit. Its beautiful location and inviting outdoor area made it a real hit. The food was absolutely delicious. Delicious schnitzel and excellent pasta with seafood. Service was also good. However, the tone of the conversation with us and our child took some getting used to. This has a negative impact on our memory.

We went there as a family. The "Parmigiana" schnitzel with fresh pasta and the roast beef with onions were very well-made and delicious. The Bolognese in the kids' menu was also excellent. The meat was perfectly prepared and tender. The value for money was right. The service was extremely friendly. One star deducted because there were no changing facilities and the background music desperately needs to be adjusted (trash party music doesn't really fit the balmy summer evening and the delicious food 😄).

The Schlemmeria has become one of our favorite restaurants. Parking is available, a nice, quiet location, and a great indoor and outdoor area! The service is commendable! The waitress has become a must for us: she's simply fantastic! The food is always very good, thanks to the chef! 👨‍🍳 We always enjoy coming to the Schlemmeria: good food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere!

The food was very good and the service very friendly. I highly recommend the roasted onions. What's quite cheeky: the seniors' plate was exactly half price, but the (expensive) price was only reduced by €4.50.

We ate here because of the good reviews and honestly can't begin to understand all the hype surrounding this place! The service was very good - but: The food preparation was simply average, and the quantity was far below average. The prices charged here are far too high for what you get! The food was extremely delicious. The gourmet fillet with potato rösti, the tomato soup, and the dessert were all excellent. We received very pleasant and friendly service. The ambiance is delightfully original. You should allow yourself some time, though, and a reservation wouldn't hurt. It's also written above the entrance that this is the main entrance, but since it's more like the entrance to a private residence, it tempts you to look for another entrance. Don't despair; just go in; it's worth it.

Very good restaurant with charcoal grill.

Unfortunately, we had to wait a long time for the food. It was a bit difficult with four hungry children. Nobody even thought of prioritizing the children so the gang would be happy. The atmosphere was okay, just a poorly-designed playground. The food, however, was very good! Definitely 5 stars for this! The prices were reasonable.

There is a great restaurant in Oberstaufen that you definitely have to visit and that more than deserves its name: Schlemmeria im Moos! The onion roast was excellent, very tasty with the fried potatoes and perfect onions! But the starter was even better, the prawns with garlic sauce is also a must if you have the opportunity to indulge in culinary delights. At the end there was delicious Prinz schnapps, which rounded off the delicious meal perfectly (Old Apricot of course)! Go and enjoy it!

Today we visited a restaurant that is a little away from the village center and overall we were very satisfied. The interior is rustic and cozy, which appealed to us right from the start. As soon as we arrived we were greeted warmly and immediately felt welcome. The food was very good and fully met our expectations. The dishes were fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. We would particularly like to highlight the attentive and friendly service, which was always present but never intrusive. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also pleasantly calm and ideal for a relaxed dinner. Overall, we felt very comfortable here and can definitely recommend this restaurant. We'd love to come back!

We spent our vacation in Oberstaufen. We came across this restaurant by chance. We have rarely eaten as well as we did here. The food was excellent and the service was also top.

Terrific! Super delicious food, it is exceptionally good. This is partly because the food is prepared on real charcoal. The sauces are refined with white wine. The salads delicious. It was a very good visit to the restaurant for all four of us and everyone really, really enjoyed it. We'll be back! The atmosphere is wonderfully rustic with lots of small wooden details. You wait a little longer for the food but it is prepared over real charcoal and you can taste it! Top * Top * Top * 👍

We went to the Schlemmeria in the evening and were completely thrilled. The onion roast was perfect, tender and incredibly tasty. My wife had the marinated pulpo carpaccio as a starter - an absolute recommendation - and then a light but sophisticated main course. You can immediately notice the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in the preparation. Plus attentive service and a cozy atmosphere. If you want to eat well in Oberstaufen, you should definitely stop by here!

The food was delicious. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Comfy and pleasant atmosphere. Modern furniture in wood. If I had to find any remarks it would be that I personally had liked it a tiny bit less salty.

There are no allergens listed on the menu. Only one sentence says that you can get an allergy card upon request. When asked by the visibly bored waitress. The only thing is: we don't have anything like that and I have no idea. As an allergy sufferer, I should check for myself what I can eat. I would like to, but there is no allergy card. Brief information: a restaurant must legally be able to list allergens and additives upon request at the latest, but that's not your problem, said the waitress. The restaurant is really not well represented here and I hope the operator doesn't see it the same way

Erstmal haben wir eine Schnappatmung bekommen ob der Preise, die extrem hoch sind. Das Essen war aber lecker, Rinderfilet mit Parmaschinken und Trüffel und „Kinderportion“ Kalbssteak. Leider mussten wir 1:15 Uhr auf unser Essen warten. Die Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich, die Einrichtung hölzern gemütlich.

The ambience is very nice. The service was friendly. Unfortunately we had to wait over an hour for our food, which is a real challenge with hungry children. At one meal a shrimp was still raw inside, at another meal there should have been beef, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes. Unfortunately, the tomatoes were completely missing. Unfortunately, the noodles didn't suit our taste either. Overall it was rather disappointing for us.

We ate there with two children and everyone, including the children, had to wait over an hour for our food. The pasta was overcooked, one dish was missing cocktail tomatoes and the salad with prawns had raw...

Eine vorherige Reservierung wird empfohlen. Wir wurden mit zwei Hunden sehr freundlich empfangen und hatten einen ruhigen Tisch bekommen. Getränke und Essenswünsche wurden von der netten erfahrenen Bedienung aufgenommen und auch zügig der Reihe nach serviert. Sowohl Vorspeise als auch Hauptgericht entsprachen voll unseren Erwartungen und waren wie immer sehr lecker. Die Preise entsprechen der Qualität der Speisen. Wir können das Restaurant nur empfehlen.

The Schlemmeria was a surprising new discovery for us in town. The service was very attentive, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was very cozy. The pasta is highly recommended. We missed tablecloths!!! Would be more perfect somehow. Thank you, we'll be happy to come back.

Best quality for a slightly larger budget

Very brilliant food was there on summer vacation last year and will be back next week. If I could give 100 stars I would. I always come here on vacation and today I was once again rewarded with complete satisfaction.

Long waiting times, despite few guests. Only acquaintances were served and entertained by the waitress. Portions small, taste ok and unfortunately overpriced. Nice restaurant, unfortunately lack of hygiene. A lot of potential that is not being used. Very unfortunate.

Das Lokal ist ein wenig abseits vom zentrumsnahen Rummel Nach einem anfänglich etwas rüden Empfang wurden wir in einer lockeren, unprätentiösen Atmosphäre persönlich und aufmerksam bestens bedient. Wir wählten Fleisch vom Grill. Sensationell haben sich die eher selten angebotenen Koteletten vom Iberico-Schwein erwiesen: superzart, saftig, wenig Fett und mit viel Können schmackhaft gewürzt, auf den Punkt grilliert. Und die Weinkarte überzeugte mit unbekannten, aber interessanten Flaschen. Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch.

The restaurant inside is indescribably beautiful, cozy and inviting. The food was super tasty. Not a 0-8-15 Italian but real Italian Kitchen. The service is also very nice and attentive. If I go on vacation to the area again, I will definitely eat here again.

We had dinner in the Schlemmeria in the evening. The location is nice and quiet and the covered terrace is shady. The service is quick and tidy. The combination of local and Italian dishes is well done here and you can also tell that the pasta is homemade. There are two small deductions from me... unfortunately my non-alcoholic wheat was lukewarm. Because they were probably frozen too late. And if you have an outdoor terrace, you should just check every now and then for spiders and their webs that have settled there. Nevertheless, there is no star deduction because of that.

The food was very tasty, but the side dishes were significantly too expensive. Charging €5.40 for a very manageable portion of French fries is absolutely not justified. But what we repeatedly noticed negatively was the tone of the older lady in service. Hospitality looks different! One might think that she did her training with the mountain troops...

It's special when you're called by the elderly lady in service, even though it's your first encounter. An incredibly cozy and beautiful restaurant, if it weren't for the dust crowns and honeycombs of dust piling up everywhere on the high-quality wine bottles, shining in their simple and subtle gray-white. When you go to the toilet, you need to be extremely focused and not touch anything, because hair, cobwebs, footprints and questionable residue line the path. The food was delicious and hot, sometimes extremely expensive! What really makes us stop going is the exorbitant price per liter of water in the carafe for 9.-! We wish you all the best, but we are definitely no longer part of your target group.

At these prices you expect a special quality is far from being fulfilled. This is very unfortunate. It doesn't work like that anymore! Potato pancakes at Saltim Bocca are just cheap. There was no truffle to be found on the beef fillet. That was very disappointing given these high prices. You have to change something!

All in all, it is highly recommended, the meat is of good quality, the menu is well stocked so everyone will find something. The restaurant is located away from busy streets

Called shortly before 9 p.m. yesterday to ask whether we would still be able to get warm food (which is no longer a given today) - very, very friendly on the phone and that would be absolutely no problem. The food itself was very tasty and of very good quality, the service was friendly and accommodating. The highlight after the meal was that we got a homemade limoncello - highly recommended. PS: The ambience is great/Mediterranean flair

Eine hervorragende Küche, mit besten Zutaten und einer wundervollen Kellnerin (Sabine). Wäre das Restaurant im Saarland, würden wir es zu unserem Lieblingsrestaurant küren.
