We had dinner in the Schlemmeria in the evening. The location is nice and quiet and the covered terrace is shady. The service is quick and tidy. The combination of local and Italian dishes is well done here and you can also tell that the pasta is homemade. There are two small deductions from me... unfortunately my non-alcoholic wheat was lukewarm. Because they were probably frozen too late. And if you have an outdoor terrace, you should just check every now and then for spiders and their webs that have settled there. Nevertheless, there is no star deduction because of that.

The food was very tasty, but the side dishes were significantly too expensive. Charging €5.40 for a very manageable portion of French fries is absolutely not justified. But what we repeatedly noticed negatively was the tone of the older lady in service. Hospitality looks different! One might think that she did her training with the mountain troops...

It's special when you're called by the elderly lady in service, even though it's your first encounter. An incredibly cozy and beautiful restaurant, if it weren't for the dust crowns and honeycombs of dust piling up everywhere on the high-quality wine bottles, shining in their simple and subtle gray-white. When you go to the toilet, you need to be extremely focused and not touch anything, because hair, cobwebs, footprints and questionable residue line the path. The food was delicious and hot, sometimes extremely expensive! What really makes us stop going is the exorbitant price per liter of water in the carafe for 9.-! We wish you all the best, but we are definitely no longer part of your target group.

At these prices you expect a special quality is far from being fulfilled. This is very unfortunate. It doesn't work like that anymore! Potato pancakes at Saltim Bocca are just cheap. There was no truffle to be found on the beef fillet. That was very disappointing given these high prices. You have to change something!

All in all, it is highly recommended, the meat is of good quality, the menu is well stocked so everyone will find something. The restaurant is located away from busy streets

Called shortly before 9 p.m. yesterday to ask whether we would still be able to get warm food (which is no longer a given today) - very, very friendly on the phone and that would be absolutely no problem. The food itself was very tasty and of very good quality, the service was friendly and accommodating. The highlight after the meal was that we got a homemade limoncello - highly recommended. PS: The ambience is great/Mediterranean flair

Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Essen war auch sehr, sehr lecker. Restaurant mit Terrasse ist sehr schön. Allerdings sind die Preise leider hoch. Meiner Meinung nach einen Tick zu hoch.

Entschuldigung, ich bin ein Mitarbeiter der Schlemmeria und möchte einfach nur diese unmögliche Überschrift des letzten bewerters aus dem Netz haben die Tripadvisor genau vor unseren Namen setzt! Ich handle aus eigenen Ermessen und hoffe natürlich das sich jeder ein eigenes Bild macht! Sorry Chef (der mag des glaub nett so) aber das geht leider nicht, ich arbeite nämlich gerne da und so eine negativ Presse von der Meinung einer einzelnen Person kann ich nicht zulassen

As soon as we walked in into the rustic atmosphere, we were warmly welcomed and shown to a table that matched the ambience. Even special requests for drinks were taken into account. We were always served in a good mood and with a smile on our faces. The Allgäuer Schnitzel and the homemade spaghetti with salmon were a culinary delight. The tiramisu rounded off the evening to 5 stars. The name “Schlemmeria” really says it all here. Absolutely recommended for anyone who can appreciate excellent food.

The food was very tasty. Unfortunately the service was so bad that I won't be going there again. The waiting time for food was far too long (>45 minutes), even though the restaurant was almost empty. A pity.

At least as a dog owner I would avoid this restaurant as far as possible. When we entered the terrace, which was completely empty, we were told in an extremely unfriendly tone to go to the tables at the back and to put the dog under the table. When the dog was only half under the table, the servant told us sharply that the dog should be completely under the table: "I said UNDER the table!" I have never experienced such unfriendliness, especially in this tone, as a guest in a restaurant! It's understandable that we left the restaurant immediately after the incident... It's good that there are still places in Oberstaufen where there is no commanding tone towards the guest. We were then warmly welcomed and served in another restaurant.

We came here for the first time on vacation today for a cozy dinner. The hype about the onion roast is justified. Super tender, great grilled steak, a really intense, long-cooked sauce and the fried potatoes to the point. The price of just under €30 is absolutely fine considering the craftsmanship and quality. The service is also absolutely on point and very friendly. If we come to this area again, we will take a look again.

Leider waren wir nicht mehr zufrieden. Das Lokal hatte die Preise zu Ostern um an die 30% erhöht. Das Essen war ok, aber überteuert. Schade, wir haben das Lokal jetzt aus unserer Liste gestrichen...

A solid 10/10 for the ambience alone, you can tell this small but very fine restaurant is run with heart and soul. The food is really very good, but it also costs accordingly 😅 It's getting around that the onion roast is absolutely legendary there and I can now absolutely confirm that, gladly again :)

Unfortunately I can't understand the positive reviews. 1. Quality of prepared food inferior. A mixture of frozen products and ready-made gravies. 2. There is no relationship between price and performance. €7.40 for a side salad. 26€ for a pork schnitzel. 3. Prices have increased by 25% in 6 months compared to the card available here. This makes you wonder at first whether you got the extra tourist card due to the current lack of snow. Over €70 for 2 drinks, 2 main courses and a side salad is above city standards. Only the waitress tried very hard to offer quick and pleasant service. In any case, there are numerous restaurants in town that are more recommendable.

We always enjoy the food in the Schlemmeria, especially the meat dishes and the truffle spaghetti. Many greetings from “FeWo-Loewenzahn” from Wiedemannsdorf. Advance reservation is recommended. There are enough parking spaces on site. You can sit inside and outside in a great atmosphere.

Wer für viel Geld schlecht essen möchte, gerne hier. Totale Enttäuschung. Jedes andere Resto in Oberstaufen ist besser. Und das Beste: Die Lebensmittel aus dem Gefrierschrank werden durch die Gaststube getragen. Da sieht man was man isst.

Inkompetente Bedienung, der man auf der Karte den Wein zeigen muss, weil sie den Namen nicht kennt. Essen völlig überteuert für die schlechte Qualität. Das Fleisch ist trocken wie ein Brett.

The meal was extremely tasty and the service was friendly. The rump steak was exactly what I wanted, well grilled and flavorful with a crispy crust. The fried potatoes were particularly tasty and the homemade herb butter was perfectly balanced. The tiramisu was light and delicious. I have rarely had such a delicious meal that was so well priced.

Great restaurant, highly recommended! We spent our New Year's Eve there and have to say it couldn't have been better. Food a la carte, top price-performance ratio for these excellent dishes. Sehr schönes uriges Lokal. Essen sehr gut und ein wirklich guter Service.

Servicekraft ist sehr zuvorkommend. Hervorragendes Essen und ein schönes Ambiente haben unser Abendessen perfekt gemacht. Wir empfehlen es jedem weiter, der mal in der Nähe ist.

War dort abends noch etwas essen und man war bereit mir noch eben was zu machen, obwohl die Küche zu hatte. Bestellt hatte ich den Zwiebelrostbraten für 27€ (!). Das Fleisch war recht klein und viel mit Knorpel durchzogen. Die Röstzwiebeln waren übersalzen. Aber zumindest waren sie selbstgemacht. Die Pommes waren in Ordnung, aber auch sehr salzig. Für die Hälfte des Preises aller höchstens in Ordnung, für fast 30€ auf jeden Fall mangelhaft. Der Service und das Ambiente waren gut und habe nichts zu bemängeln.

Freundliche Bedienung, leckeres Essen. Jedoch hat es im Blumen-/Kräuterbeet auf der Terrasse Käfer und Insekten. Dieses Beet schließt direkt an die Tische an. Das fand ich nicht so schön. Da es einem den Appetit genommen hat. Das Knoblauchbrot hat nicht wirklich nach Knoblauch geschmeckt und die Portion war auch sehr klein. Aber die Hauptspeisen waren sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war wie oben gesagt sehr freundlich.

Wir hatten Zwiebelrostbraten und Schnitzel. Das Essen war sehr gut und reichlich. 2 Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln (hier könnte für mich der Speck weggelassen werden) und der Rostbraten durchweg medium mit vieeel Zwiebeln, genau wie Mann ihn mag. Die Preise sind jedoch an unserer persönlichen Schmerzgrenze. Der Rostbraten ist mit 27,50€ schon teuer. Wir wurden flott und freundlich bedient. Das Ambiente ist Geschmackssache: viel rustikales Holz (mit dazugehörigen Spinnweben 😉) und kaum Tageslicht, ähnlich einer alten Bergalm. Aber alles in allem hat das Essen gepasst.

Erst haben wir gedacht, wie kann ein Restaurant so gut sein, wenn die nette Bedienung (ca. 45 jährig 😉), so schlank ist. Aber das beides geht, hat uns die ganze Crew von der Schlemmeria gezeigt. Das Essen war vorzüglich, der Service freundlich und sehr aufmerksam und das Ambiente total originell. Liebe Sabrina, wir kommen wieder, nicht nur wegen ihrem schönen Dirndl 🤗

Den Zwiebelbraten habe ich schon wesentlich besser gehabt und das Capaccio ebenfalls. Hier fehlte bei beiden der Pfiff und Würze. Schlimmer empfanden wir aber die Bedienung (ältere Dame), welche uns "Abfrühstückte". Aber OK, wenn man keine neuen Gäste benötigt. Im Vergleich zum FEZZO in Oberreute verliert das Schlemmeria ganz klar. Und auch die gesalzenen Preise sind für die Qualität und den Service zu hoch! Daher gehen wir lieber in Zukunft in andere Restaurants.

Wenn ich könnte gerne noch mehr Sterne! Das Essen ( Zwiebelrostrbraten + Rumpsteak mit Pilzrahmsauce) war ein Gedicht und das Dessert (Tiramisu) ein Traum. Danke für diesen tollen Abend

Das Essen war der Hammer. Preislich absolut Top. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend u d freundlich. Auf jedenfall vorreservieren, damit man auch einen Tisch bekommt. Leider nur zum Urlaub hier, sonst würden wir öfters kommen.

Wir waren aufgrund der positiven Bewertungen hier. Das Ambieten ist ganz schön, der Blick auf die Berge einmalig. Das Essen war super super lecker! Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und durchgehend sehr nett bedient. Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt: der Garten für die Kinder mit den Spielmöglichkeiten sieht extrem lieblos und vernachlässigt aus. Unordnung & Spinnenweben egal wohin man schaut. Vielleicht könnte man hier etwas Liebe fürs Detail für die kleinsten Gäste reinstecken. Ansonsten nur zu empfehlen.

Extrem gutes Rumpsteak entweder mit Pfeffer- oder mit Championsauce. Der Service ist sehr nett, extrem bemüht und flink. Auch wenn viel los ist, so wie bei uns heute. Trotzdem haben wir wirklich nicht lange auf unser Essen gewartet. Die hohe Bewertung finden wir absolut berechtigt. Der Blick von der Terrasse auf den Hochgrat ist das Sahnehäubchen oben drauf.

Über Google gesucht und gefunden! Super Essen besonders der Zwiebelrostbraten.Idyllische Atmosphäre in einem alten Gasthof mit super freundlich lieber und aufmerksamer Bedienung. Spontan nach Bestellung einen Platz für 4 Personen bekommen. Unbedingt reservieren. Qualität des Fleisches ist hervorzuheben. Der beste Zwiebelrostbraten, auf dem Holzkohlegrill zubereitet, den wir je gegessen haben. Alles war selbstgemacht auch die Soße war der Hammer. Wir kommen definitiv wieder hier her. Sehr freundlicher Service

Super super super, alles perfekt essen Bedienung Lokal, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, wie Zuhause im eigenen Wohnzimmer.

Wieso hat die Schlemmeria noch keinen Stern? Absolut unverständlich! Derart leckere Steaks, Zwiebelrostbraten und Co. haben wir schon lange nicht mehr gegessen. Dies ist keine Momentaufnahme, da wir fünfmal in der Schlemmeria geschlemmt haben. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist aufgrund der sehr großzügig bemessenen Fleischportionen sehr gut. Die Steaks sind exakt auf den gewünschten Garpunkt gebraten. Das Ambiente ist, insbesondere in dem Nebenraum auf der rechten Seite, urgemütlich und die Servicekräfte sind sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Eins ist gewiss: Beim nächsten Besuch in Oberstaufen kehren wir erneut in der Schlemmeria ein! Lediglich ein Verbesserungsvorschlag: Ein paar Euro in den Außenbereich (Eingang, Parkplätze...) investieren!
