The soup and the schnitzel with fries are not worth recommending

Very unfriendly service. Three items were brought incorrectly and no apology. Three employees told us we wanted to pay. After 25 minutes, I went to the counter and paid there.

The food was okay, but relatively expensive for what was served. The service, however, was a disaster! The lady didn't greet us or say much else. You had the strong feeling of being unwelcome. The food was also slammed onto the table without a word! Her expression was also consistently incredibly unfriendly! The man behind the counter was very nice, though. We won't be back.

Top-notch, just as it should be. The staff are all very friendly, the food is excellent, and the setting is unique. I'd be happy to come back anytime.

Ideal for families with children.

A great mountain restaurant with a lovely terrace and very friendly service. The food (cheese spaetzle, tomato soup, cabbage fritters) arrived super quickly and was very good. According to our daughter, it was the best tomato soup she'd ever eaten. 20 stars 😉😊

We're regular guests here, and today we were at the barbecue. The quality is excellent and the value for money is top-notch. The service is very friendly; we had a lovely evening. The chef even bought us a shot of schnapps at the end. Thank you very much, we'll be back!

A lovely place to enjoy a meal or a drink. There's a large terrace in good weather. The apple strudel with ice cream is highly recommended.

The Huendle mountain restaurant is a true highlight in the Allgäu region! Delicious food, generous portions, and a view that will take your breath away. But the true gem of this place is a very special waitress, Sandra: charming, quick-witted, and with a smile that immediately puts you in a good mood. She serves with a rare blend of warmth and humor. You don't feel like a guest, but rather like a welcome friend. If you're lucky, you'll be served by her – an experience you won't soon forget!

Absolutely terrible: guests aren't greeted, but if they make themselves known, they're simply snapped at and told to be patient. Three weeks ago, we were at least served after a 20-minute wait…unfriendly, but still. Yesterday, we waited patiently for 30 minutes to be served, right in sight of the bar. Then we left and won't be coming back. You're not welcome here.

The view is beautiful, as is the playground next door. However, the service is terrible. Food and drinks are carelessly slammed onto the table. If you speak to the waiters, you are ignored. In summary, a nice playground, but the restaurant is not recommended. Criticism is met with a rude response. The lady with the colorful hair is absolutely unbearable and made a very negative impression on all the guests. If you drive down the mountain, there is also a restaurant with a playground right outside, where you also receive friendly service and the food is very good. You won't see us here again.

Beautiful terrace with play areas for the kids. There was also a climbing frame for the little ones (crawling age up to 3 years old). Our 16-month-old had a blast there! Great with toddlers. The food was delicious too. We'd love to go back!

After a good hour's hike from the valley station, we arrived here with our children. The service was friendly and the food tasted excellent. In addition to the beautiful view, there is a small playground. An all-round successful trip!

The Hündle Berggaststätte offers delicious food that is definitely worth a visit. Unfortunately, the service on the day we visited was very unmotivated and rather busy with the cell phone. Despite the fact that there were only a few guests, we had to point out several times that we would like to order. The refilling of the drinks also took a long time and only took place after an explicit request. It's a shame, because with more attentive service the restaurant would certainly be able to collect even more points.

Food was great and very tasty. Unfortunately the service was a bit overwhelmed and we had to wait quite a bit until we could order.

Despite the fact that the place was packed, the service was quick and friendly. Very professional.

Unfortunately, we didn't eat there because we weren't hungry. But the food that went to the tables looked excellent, good portions and the plates were empty. We “just” drank a coffee and enjoyed the sun and the view.

Went there for a drink after the hike. Unfortunately, some food had already run out and so we didn't eat anything since the session was over. Good friendly service.

The food was very tasty, but there was only one waitress on duty at lunchtime, which pushed the young lady to her limits.

We were there for the second time during our vacation and ate there. The food is fantastic and they have probably the best Kaiserschmarren in the surrounding area. The mountain restaurant is highly recommended, especially after a hike. We were definitely not there for the last time.

The food (Kaiserschmarrn and Maultaschen) was delicious, but the service was impossible! We were there at around 4 p.m. There were a few guests sitting outside and we (3 people) sat alone in the restaurant. The staff walked past us several times, 0 eye contact, disinterested. Our inquiry as to whether we could order was dismissed with “Someone is coming soon”. After about 15 minutes! Then the waitress finally came; Completely emotionless, no greeting, no smile! She said almost annoyed: We're about to close (open until 5 p.m.), what would you like to order? 😖 Yes, if you ignore your guests for so long, that's what happens...🙄 Luckily the food came quickly. 👍🏼 After paying - of course there was no tip this time - the older blonde female waiter left without saying a word. No thanks, no hello/goodbye. You didn't really have the feeling of being a "guest" being welcomed here. We don't go here anymore...

Super quick service, pretty hut and the food was ready in no time. It tasted good too. What more could you want?

Great hut with good food and a great team

I asked at the counter (after I was neither greeted nor spoken to at all) if I could get two cappucchinos that I could take with me to the adjacent playground. The counter worker shouted at me: "Yes, and then we have the broken pieces everywhere again" turned around and continued to put the glasses in the sink. Apparently the restaurant is doing far too well and doesn't need it. A friendly hello, unfortunately that doesn't work would have been completely enough.

Beautiful alp right at the exit of the Hündlebahn. The food tasted really good, our service was very friendly and quick, although the number of visitors after us was a little unlucky because the many orders took a while. However, this is more to be expected at lunchtime in the peak summer season.

Hündle barbecue evening is a tasty and musical experience.

Delicious Kaiserschmarrn with a large portion. Without raisins, good for the children. Cheesecake was good, coffee too. Cheese spaetzle were also delicious, sometimes with fried onions instead of fried onions. The child didn't like the cheese, but we did. :) Toilet clean. Quaint interior.

Everything fine. If you're a little lucky and get a seat on the edge, you'll also have the perfect view.

Very nicely located hut with a large terrace. We made a stopover here and overall it was great. For us the Kaiserschmarrn and the Germknödel were ok. The service was quite nice. Fits 🙂

Fair prices and a fantastic view!

Cozy restaurant on top of the mountain, accessible by lift or mountain walk. Inside you will feel like you are enjoying winter sports again. Typically furnished with lots of wood. Food and drinks are fine for a restaurant like this. In addition, the view is breathtaking. And the service is very fast and friendly.

I was really surprised. The food came super quickly. You really can't complain about the quality of the food and the prices were also completely okay.

We were only there for coffee and cake. Unfortunately the cakes tasted absolutely bad. I think cheesecake was frozen goods. The cake was very dry. Price performance is not given. But the apple strudel was very tasty. Service employee was nice. Toilets were clean.

Very nice place. Furnished inside as you would expect from a mountain hut. There is also plenty of outside seating with a wonderful view. Small playground with swings! 👍 Everything very clean. Staff very friendly, dishes can be reordered. She also took a group photo for us (thank you very much for that). We have been there twice and will definitely come back when we are in the area. Delicious food and, for me, typically Bavarian.

Almdudler is advertised in front of the hut, but it is not served inside. Instead there is the dupe “Alpenwasser”. One waitress was very friendly, the other seemed to be in a bad mood. The lemon slice for a drink fell on the floor behind the counter, she picked it up and put it in the full glass anyway... There was a lot of short hair between the fries 🤢 That should say it all.

Ja, innen sahs recht urig aus👍aber weils draußen sonnig war,waren wir auf der Panorama Terrasse.. Daneben war noch ein kleiner Kinderspielplatz,war ein angenehmer Aufenthalt 👌

Super kleine Berghütte. Essen ist einiges an Auswahl und gut gemacht. Preis ist auch ok. Man kann schön sitzen und auch ein Spielplatz ist für die kleinen nebenan.

Welch ein wunderschöner Platz / Hütte….Super leckeres Esser, und der Kaiserschmarren ein Traum. Das ganze abgerundet mit Top Freundlichkeit, und fairen Preisen. Danke an das ganze Team! Auch das Wandergebiet, für jeden etwas dabei, Kommen bestimmt wieder
