Exactly the kind of place I love. No pretension. Friendly staff and locals were there too.

We wanted to have a hot chocolate with rum there today, and although hot chocolate and rum are on the menu, they wouldn't make it for me because that combination wasn't listed. On top of that, they became rude when I asked several times what the problem was. Unbelievable! 😂 Go to the nice gentleman by the lift instead.

The food was super delicious. The portions were absolutely sufficient (I couldn't finish everything). The service was very friendly, and everything was clean. I always had special requests for food and drinks, which were absolutely no problem. Everything worked out perfectly! Nothing to complain about :)

A lovely, traditional restaurant with fantastic food. The cheese fondue was truly excellent and was complemented by a fruit platter. The staff was friendly and attentive.

A wonderful start to our Allgäu vacation Our first day of vacation in the Allgäu could hardly have started better. We spontaneously stopped by for dinner with our family – two adults and two children – and got a table right away, even without a reservation. The welcome was warm, and the service throughout the evening was exceptionally friendly and attentive. The menu offers a great selection of typical regional dishes – exactly what you'd expect in the Allgäu. The appetizers and drinks arrived quickly, and we didn't have to wait long for the main courses either. We had liver dumpling soup, various schnitzel variations, fried Leberkäse (meatloaf), and spinach and cheese spaetzle – everything was freshly prepared, beautifully presented, and truly delicious. The cozy atmosphere and attentive service rounded off the experience perfectly. A small note: During our visit, only cash payments were accepted – although this isn't something you're used to these days, it shouldn't be an obstacle to a visit. In conclusion: An authentic inn with heart, regional cuisine, and genuine hospitality. We can wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant and would love to return on our next Allgäu vacation!
