Schlemmereck UG (haftungsbeschränkt) in Mettmann

We stayed there for two nights and were extremely disappointed. The rooms are straight out of the 80s and very neglected. The evening "live cooking buffet" is a joke! It's like typical cafeteria food. The food is kept warm for hours. And of course, the staff refills it every now and then… the steaks were lukewarm and tough… overall, the stay was totally overpriced ☹️ Never again!!

Surprisingly good and tasty food in a somewhat different venue hidden between sports fields and nothingness. Sabani’s offers the basics of Italian cuisine and even some German such as pizza, pasta and Schnitzel. However, we went right after Christmas and they had a set holiday menu where we opted for their only vegetarian option - a creamy mushroom pasta dish which ended up being surprisingly tasty and hearty. The venue itself was nicely decorated and cozy. The servers suffered from being stressed and potentially having too much to do which their (uncalled for) snappy and sassy behavior showed. All in all it was a nice visit nonetheless.

A truly fantastic restaurant! The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The service was very friendly and attentive; you immediately feel welcome. The value for money is also excellent. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant!

We were there for breakfast. Small but good selection. Very cozy restaurant. Friendly service.

A very bright atmosphere, a great view of the golf course. The food was delicious, portions were generous, and service was friendly. It's a great place to stop even if you don't play golf.
