I have to honestly say that for me personally, this restaurant is the worst in the area in terms of the food offered for the lunch buffet. Most of the food was cold and not plentiful in the warming containers. At times it looked as if there were leftovers from the previous evening mixed in. Despite the warm season, a restaurant should ensure that numerous flies do not linger on the food (mainly the fruit). It's a shame because the entire atmosphere otherwise makes a great impression. Everyone should still make up their own minds.

We were very satisfied. The absolute highlight is the robot that brought the food to the table.

We were there on a Saturday evening for the buffet with a larger group. We had a separate room with our own toilet, which I found very pleasant because you don't have that train station feeling when you sit in the middle of the large room. The plates were constantly cleared away by employees so that it didn't look messy. The quality of the food is fresh and like many buffet restaurants there is a good selection of produce. There was no direct parking space in front of the house, but the adjacent parking garage with a day ticket is within walking distance.

We were at the restaurant on a Saturday lunchtime and sat at a table in a room facing the window. The service was befittingly friendly. The selection of dishes (buffet/a la carte) was okay but unfortunately the food was not always warm. Only in the middle of the warming container was it still warm. The drink order took too long despite an electronic order call. Conclusion: the usual standard that you can find elsewhere. Update: Everything was fine on the last visit.

Unfortunately, some of the food is no longer really warm, which should be reconsidered. I personally can't write anything about the dessert buffet because I didn't eat any of it. But my family enjoyed the dessert buffet. Unfortunately, at some point no one came to ask us if we would like something more to drink. Of course there is a lot of activity on a Saturday evening, but perhaps you should pay more attention. Finally, I would like to mention that we found the robot cat to be quite nice, but it was far too loud for our taste. It felt like 20 people had their birthdays last night because the Robo Cat kept belting out “Happy Birthday”. Conclusion for us: Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio no longer fits.

The restaurant always has a street sale during the fair/shooting festival. There is then a selection of standard dishes that are offered cheaply. Tasty and quick. Great idea!

The selection at the buffet was impressive - from fresh fish to deliciously prepared meat, everything was available and of high quality. We were particularly impressed by the variety and freshness of the dishes on offer. My wife and our daughter were also impressed by the delicate flavors and careful preparation of the dishes. The service was attentive and professional, which made our dinner even more enjoyable. The ambience of the restaurant is welcoming and cozy, perfect for families or dinner. We've eaten here more often in the last few years. But unfortunately the quality of the food has changed to the detriment. Everything was warm and clean, but some meat dishes seemed to be undercooked. Neither the calamari nor the beef could be chewed properly. The selection wasn't very big either. Other Asians in the area have more choice and better quality.

Well the first impression wasn't that bad, the ambience wasn't great either. The waitress took the drinks. My mother wanted an alcohol-free pilsner, which she told him and he took it. The drinks didn't come or our pilsner. Well, that's all well and good, you can forget about it sometimes, but the waiter made sure that we hadn't ordered it. I sat next to my mother and was surprised that she didn't order wheat like she usually did, so I know 100% that she ordered a beer. Well I told him to please bring an alcohol-free pilsner and that's fine. Very rude to discuss with guests. Then we went to the buffet and I had lamb, kangaroo and beef roasted. In the meantime I tried things like pepper shrimp, duck, chicken skewers with and without breading, rice and noodles and various meat dishes. Half of it was ice cold and the rice was hard and dry. The noodles were ok as were the chicken skewers. The shrimp could have been peeled. But that was ok, they tasted pretty good too. Then came the disappointment of the day: the usually delicious three kinds of fried meat. Normally you can tell the difference very well. Lamb has its own personal taste, the kangaroo is always really soft and tasty, the beef is also always good (in other Chinese restaurants). Here everything was bland, not seasoned and looked like the sole of a shoe... that's how it tasted too , no difference, everything tasted the same... the blast, the whole thing cost €170 for 7 people, our teenagers 12 and 13 had to pay the full adult price. I find it totally disgraceful. Because the two of them hardly ate anything. Regardless, we were here for the first and last time. Thanks for nothing....

I went to Red Sun for my birthday in February 2024 this year. I was particularly looking forward to the running sushi. Unfortunately I found it a bit disappointing because it has little to do with rolling sushi. Rolling sushi means that the plates roll past the table; here there is a chef at a round counter at the buffet where you can take something away. The sushi itself didn't convince me either. With scrambled eggs, mayonaise and other things, that wasn't original enough for me either. I would have liked more basics. My birthday guests complained about the very thin coffee. There was no replacement; according to service, the machine would be just like that. The buffet was huge, the atmosphere was fine. The little robot that delivers the Mongolian food is funny, but the melody also gets annoying at times. I probably won't go to Mettmann for a second visit.

Wir gehen sehr gerne zum Abend-Buffet nach Mettmann und sind immer sehr zufrieden. Das Angebot wird zwischen durch ein bisschen abgeändert, wodurch man eine Vielfalt hat, das Essen sieht immer sehr frisch aus und vor allem für Vegetarier ist viel dabei.

Wie jedes Jahr, waren wir auch dieses Jahr am 2. Weihnachtstag dort essen. Die Essenqualität hat massiv abgenommen, Service ist so gut wie gar nicht mehr vorhanden. Haben eigentlich wie jedes Jahr ein VIP Raum reserviert, wurde leider nicht vermerkt. Eine Entschuldigung gab's auch nicht. Dort laufen gefühlt nur 3 Kellner Rum, für 150-200 Gäste, diese Kellner sind auch noch mega unfreundlich. Außerdem verstehen die Mitarbeiter/Chefs scheinbar nicht das System von Einmalhandschuhen. Ein Mitarbeiter, lief dort durchgehend mit Handschuhen Rum, mit denen er auch auf Toilette war... Danach hat er mit den gleichen Handschuhen weiter die Zangen richtig gelegt und essen verteilt. Das war unser letztes Weihnachtsessen dort...

Also ... Abends war es überfüllt , viel zu wenig parklätze. Deswegen mussten wir einen 10 Minuten entfernten Parkplatz nehmen. Komplett überfüllt , Kellnerin kam nach 20 Minuten im Restaurant warten Sushi wurde mit künstlichen Fisch zubereitet Knopf zum kellnerholen kapput Buffet hatte 5 Minuten Wartezeit Produkte wurden ca. 30 Minuten nachdem es leer war gebracht

Super laut .. ein Bahnhof ist gemütlicher.. Essen ok, aber man versteht sein eigenes Wort nicht..

Buffet mit großer Auswahl. Die Lieferung am Tisch via Roboter ist für Kids eine nette Idee. In der Woche nicht so stark besucht und daher von der Lautstärke angenehmer. Am Wochenende naturgemäß deutlich voller.

Soweit top..... nur eine Frage....gibt's das Piano auch in stiller Version? Sehr laut und nervig. Die Menschen stimmen plus noch das laute piano melodie in Vordergrund unerträglich.
