Had lunch there today..for 10 euros..including a side salad..An unbelievable price..with a small free starter..It was incredibly tasty..The lady who served us was very friendly and accommodating..It was a pleasure to give her a tip..We would be happy to come back..

Today we were guests at the Schlemmer-Galerie again for many years, and overall we ate really well here. In addition to a starter, we had two schnitzel variations, and we found all three dishes to be really tasty. The schnitzels were nice and thin and tender, and in our opinion the food was of good quality overall. We only found the salad dressing to be a bit too fattening. Overall, the attractively prepared dishes were of a good quantity and therefore offered a good price-performance ratio. The really beautifully furnished restaurant, located in the historic casemates, offers a great atmosphere in which to linger, mostly really rustic in the style of a vaulted cellar with niches and matching accessories, but also partly modern, and in any case very cozy. There is also a larger, nice outdoor terrace in front of the restaurant. The ladies in service were very friendly and attentive and did a very good job. Overall, we can happily recommend the restaurant and will be visiting here again often.

The ambience is the only nice thing about the restaurant, the manager is very unfriendly due to a lack of knowledge between debit and credit card, and you also pay a complete zander for €30, half of which consists of Greten. 5 stars for the ambience 1 star because I have to, for a lack of professional competence and customer service. Gladly never again.

I went to this restaurant on Valentine's Day with my sister Poly and it was just wonderful. Our table was lovingly decorated with a candle, heart-shaped chocolate, rose petals and even fresh roses that we were allowed to take with us - a really nice gesture! The service was very friendly and attentive. We also loved the food: the salads were fresh, perfectly seasoned and the potatoes, served separately, were simply delicious. The Aperol Spritz was not only beautifully presented, but tasted excellent. Overall, a thoroughly successful evening in a great atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

We were very happy with the food. Everything was delicious, whether it was pizza, steak or schnitzel. There was one small detail that we didn't like and that was that you had to pay extra for side dishes and then not exactly a little. Plus, maybe you could have put up a tree at Christmas.

Good compromise for Saarlouis if everything else is occupied. Steaks are not the same size, if you order the cheaper one it is just smaller. That was a quote from the waitress. Ambiance is nice and service is good too. Cola beer tastes like dish soap, so please do not order mixed drinks.

We've been there for brunch 3 times in 4 years. My husband and I never liked it, we always went along when my siblings wanted to meet up for brunch. Nothing has changed in terms of the food on offer. However, it has become very expensive. €20.50 for finished products. Absolutely nothing on the buffet was fresh. Canned fruit salad, low-quality cold cuts and cheese, pancakes that are warmed up and taste like cardboard. There wasn't even salmon. Curry sauce was also a finished product, an unreasonable glutamate bomb. Rolls were firm, but by no means crispy, also a cheap baked product. There was also no low-fat yogurt. There was also nothing described, e.g. B. with the jams. Scrambled eggs were ok, it's not art, it also comes from the Tetra Pack for hygiene reasons. Conclusion: my husband and I didn't get full because we didn't find anything tasty apart from the scrambled eggs. We won't go there again. For the price, more quality has to be on the table.

One of the best restaurants in the area. Every dish is prepared with so much love, you can see that the cooking here is done with passion. You can taste this too. The dishes on the menu taste great. The portions are also very large. The price-performance ratio is right, it's cheap for the amount you get. I have also visited the breakfast several times. There is no breakfast buffet in the area that offers such a selection. Everything your heart desires is offered, even homemade waffles. What I was particularly happy about were the warm dishes that are not normally found in a breakfast buffet, such as fried potatoes and currywurst. And when it comes to the selection of free drinks, you can talk about a reasonable price of 20.50 euros. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great restaurant in a nice atmosphere. Keep it up!!!! One of the best restaurants in all of Saarlouis, pizza, pasta and meat, all very tasty. This month's mussels are DIVINE, the waiters and staff are always nice and friendly, the boss is uniquely friendly. I can only recommend this place :)

Went there after the cinema, I ordered Rahm Schni-Po-Sa, unfortunately there is no Sa for that price 🤷🏼‍♂️ Ok, the fries were good. and the schnitzels were SHIT, two thin shoe soles rolled in lukewarm fat, served on an ice-cold plate, the schnitzels really stuck to it. Mushroom cream sauce was just enough for the schnitzel, dipping fries wasn't much. Great ambience - DECEPTIVE Oh and when you go out towards the bridge you see the kitchen staff smoking cigarettes, also delicious. Friend wasn't thrilled with her food either.

There were only baked rolls, baked croissants and coffee pieces, cakes, nothing fresh. Fruit only canned pineapple. Salads were not to our taste, pepper salad, carrots and egg salad. Was invited to breakfast today. The first thing that struck me was that the price had risen sharply. Now costs €20.50. Last year at the same time it cost €16.50. This is an increase of 25%. It's a strong piece. Then there was the fact that the quality wasn't the best either. The sausage and cheese platter were also better. There is no salmon anymore either. The baked rolls were also catastrophic. I will no longer have breakfast there in the future and neither will my hostess. The price-performance ratio is no longer right here.

But if the chef can't cook, that doesn't help. Maybe he or she just can't eat breaded schnitzel!

I ordered pizza in this restaurant. The crust was high and very crispy and tasty. But the coating was really liquid. Tomato, cheese and ham were almost not baked at all. The taste was good, but I didn't order a "liquid pizza". The still very young waitress was very nice. Sitting outside was also pleasant. But the real reason, the food, definitely needs improvement.

Breakfast buffet theme: First the positive: The service was great. The lady was very attentive. The used plates were always cleared away very quickly and we were repeatedly asked whether everything was OK and whether we needed anything else. Now to the actual point. When we got to our place, we first removed the cobwebs from the window where we were sitting. We didn't think it would be too nice to have to eat next to it. Unfortunately one tablecloth was dirty. For the breakfast buffet (please note the price of €18.50 per person): A medium disaster. Baked rolls are all well and good. But you can expect something more than discounter quality. The scrambled eggs were from a tetra pack. I'm not saying anything about the number of people, but with a little more love they could be made. There were 2 types of cheese and 3 types of sausage. Tomato mozzarella is an expression that you can't actually use. We were there half an hour after the buffet opened and it looked like it had been sitting at room temperature for hours. The coffee tasted... oh let's leave it alone. 🥴. Some of the fruit comes from a can. There were a few stuffed pepperonis and olives. In the sweet department there are ready-made cakes and small croissants. We recently had breakfast there and so I was really looking forward to the fish (salmon, trout). It stayed that way. When I asked a somewhat stressed and unfriendly employee, I was told that they no longer offered this. You would throw away too much of it and that's why it's no longer available.... (Maybe just keep an eye on the daily amount and buy a little less if necessary. Then maybe there will be some at least for the first hour 🤷) Now my question: How can How can you justify paying €18.50 for such a buffet? So for us it was definitely the last time. A pity

Since we've been there for breakfast several times before, we were really looking forward to it this time too. But then the disappointment. The buffet no longer contains what their site promises. 3 salads would still be ok, but if 2 of them are completely unseasoned...well. 1 type of roll, salmon was completely removed. Currywurst was empty and wasn't refilled. And if you only serve one type of egg, you shouldn't advertise different ones. You also looked in vain for milk and cornflakes. For 18.50 euros you can expect more. For us it was the last time

The lady was very annoyed. Had to wait 20 minutes until someone asked what we wanted to drink. Eating also took 20 minutes. Too small for the price. Eating in itself is just satisfying. And all of this with only 3 tables occupied. Too bad. This used to be a great restaurant!!

Went there again for breakfast for a long time and it was the last time because the selection is only half what it used to be and they don't even offer salmon anymore and the salads weren't seasoned and just didn't taste like anything! Unfortunately I can't award more points. I was there for breakfast and used the buffet for 18.50 euros. Price-performance ratio doesn't match for me. I also think the prices for a glass of sparkling wine or wine are disproportionate. The staff is very friendly, which I would rate very positively.

Ich lebe seit 8 Jahren im Ausland, war Anfang Mai zu Besuch bei Freunden in Saarlouis. Das Restaurant Schlemmer Galerie war früher mein Stammlokal. Meine Freunde meinten es wäre nicht mehr das was es einmal war, wären jetzt neue Inhaber. Ich wollte mich aber selbst davon überzeugen. Beim Betreten bemerkte ich schon einige Veränderungen vor allem der Bereich bei Dali, der wurde teilweise für Pizzas geopfert, obwohl es das non plus Ultra war, das Steinhaus. Die Bedienungen waren nicht freundlich vor allem die ältere Frau machte einen sehr kühlen und unfreundlichen Eindruck. Im Nachhinein wurde mir erzählt das dies die Chefin ist. Mir fehlte das perönliche wie früher wo man uns Stammkäste mit dem Namen begrüßte. Man fühlte sich zuhause. Das Essen am Abend konnte mich nicht begeistern. Vielleicht waren wir zu verwöhnt. Fazit des Abends, werde nicht mehr hingehen, Essen ist nicht besonders, Bedienungen gehen zum lachen in den Keller!

Very nice restaurant in a historic vault. The Keller beer was very inexpensive at €4.70 and very tasty. I ate a Crete schnitzel and chose fried potatoes instead of fries. Unfortunately they weren't real fried potatoes, but fried potato slices. The schnitzel was really a highlight. Very tasty and tender. But a side salad was missing here. A side salad cost €4.60 extra. All in all, the restaurant is highly recommended.

The Crete Schnitzel was great and the French fries are perfect! The wait was long. But that's perfectly fine since everything is freshly cooked. There were 4 of us who ate and were all served top quality at the same time. I'll come have breakfast soon.

Ambiente sieht super aus, richtig urrig, wunderschön mit Steinwänden, sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Personal war sehr lieb und zuvorkommend, die Tische werden regelmäßig abgeräumt und das Buffet regelmäßig aufgestockt. Wir waren da zum Frühstück man fühlt sich wie in einem Hotel weil man ein riesen Buffet hat alles was das Herz begehrt von deftig bis süss und sehr gesund ist alles dabei, Preisleistung ist sehr gut. Wir werden öfters dahin gehen, waren sehr positiv überrascht bei unserem ersten Besuch.

We just went there for breakfast for the first time We were very disappointed at the proud price of 18.50 per person! The coffee is kept in a warming container throughout - it tastes so bitter In general, nothing happened! Refilled and the quality is terrible Overripe pineapple, rock-hard Kaiserschmarrn, rock-hard pancakes,...sausage and cheese plate empty, and sparsely stocked, the scrambled eggs and the bacon were empty throughout the 1 hour stay! We could guess what was in the containers because of the remaining crumbs, tomatoes - the morzarella plate was also sad to look at (3 tomatoes on the plate all the time) We won't come anymore

Weihnachten 23 war ein bueffet ausgeschrieben.speziell in richtung fisch und wild.die sitzgelegenheit fuer erwachsene und kinder war gut unorganisiert.danke dafuer.der preis fuer die kinder war exorbitant......nun,die vorspeisen waren schnell vergriffen,nachgelegt wurde nur zoegerlich..da ich kein fischfan bin,war mein gang primaer zum wild....und war enttaeuscht,wie wenig fleisch in der vielen sosse war.....da wurde offensichtlich ...gespart. Als kunde,der schon lange jahre dorthin geht,war ich von quantitaet wie qualitaet enttaeuscht...die letztere hat nach besitzerwechsel nachgelassen,was ich von anderen gaesten bestaetigt bekam ...fazit..den gang zur schlemmergalerie werde ich zukuenftig......meiden..leider

Nice, rustic restaurant in the Saarlouis casemates. The breakfast selection is extensive and, on the whole, nothing is missing. Nevertheless, there are certain things missing, hence only 4 stars. Also because unfortunately I didn't like the coffee.

Thema Weihnachtsmenü: sehr teuer bei den gebotenen Leistungen, z.B Wildangebot...da musste man sehr lange suchen, um etwas!!! Fleisch zu ergattern. Fisch ist nicht für Jedermann... Für Kinder , die nun wahrlich nicht all das essen, war der Preis von 30€ wesentlich überteuert. Das Essen war teilweise nicht mehr warm, es wurde nur zögerlich nachgelegt.. FAZIT..die Qualität hat in der letzten Zeit (neue Inhaber??) nachgelassen...ob ich/ wir dort weiterhin hingehen, steht zu bezweifeln

Wir hatten Besuch aus Irland. Die hatten sich so auf ein Schnitzel gefreut. Das war aber eins der schlechtesten, die wir je serviert bekommen haben. Es war sehr hell und schmeckte nach nichts. Wie als käme es aus der Mikrowelle. Auch die Saucen waren bestimmt von Pulver angerührt. Eine Person hatte ein Steak, das war wohl lecker und schön medium gebraten. Die Pommes waren sehr gut. Leider gab es keine Entschuldigung seitens des Servicepersonals. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön, wir kommen trotzdem nicht wieder.

Sehr schöne Lokalität, mein Essen war sehr gut, ohne das der Service nach dem Garpunkt von meinem Steak fragte hatte der Koch voll meinen Geschmack und Garpunkt getroffen. Wir waren mit ca 10 Personen waren alle zufrieden 👍

Zu teuer für das Gebotene, hier war nichts positiv hervorzuheben. Alles Durchschnitt außer die Preise.

Rumpsteak war fast kalt und mein Kretaschnitzel floss im Oel und war nicht selbst gemacht. Geschmacklich kaum gewürzt.

Unser erster Besuch zum Frühstücksbuffet am 28.09.23 verlief reibungslos. Service war sehr aufmerksam, Ambiente gemütlich und es gab viel Auswahl am Buffet. Alles was geboten wurde, konnte geschmacklich überzeugen und es gab somit nichts zu bemängeln. Ob der Preis für 18,50€ gerechtfertigt ist, muss im Endeffekt jeder für sich selbst entscheiden. Wer Hunger mitbringt, wird auf seine Kosten kommen. Der einzige Kritikpunkt wäre vielleicht, dass es "nur" Kaffee und Säfte inklusive sind. Wer keinen Kaffee mag und/oder keinen Saft trinken darf, wird evtl enttäuscht sein. Für Kinder oder Menschen welche keinen Kaffee trinken können/dürfen sollte es die Möglichkeit geben Milch oder Kakao zu bekommen. Ansonsten waren wir zufrieden und werden das Frühstücksangebot sicherlich wieder in Anspruch nehmen.

Ernüchternd! Wir waren auf Empfehlung mit Freunden hier. Die Qualität der Gerichte schwankte stark. Ein Gericht aus unserer Runde wurde reklamiert (zwei Personen hatten das gleiche Gericht bestellt, jedoch war der Geschmack bei einer Person völlig anders (säuerlich, was von meheren Personen am Tisch nach Verkostung bestätigt wurde). Leider war der Koch anderer Meinung und lies mitteilen dass das Gericht in Ordnung sei. Und das wars dann auch. Es wurde kein neues oder anderes Essen angeboten und den vollen Preis musste die Dame aus unserer Runde auch noch zahlen, obwohl sie garnichts mehr davon gegessen hatte. Die anderen Gerichte waren o.k., jedoch auch nichts Besonderes. Wir werden also nicht mehr kommen. Update zur Antwort des Inhabers: Anscheinend muss es dann noch einen weiteren ähnlichen Vorfall gegeben haben, da unsere Begleitung definitiv keine Pizza als Ersatz bestellt/bekommen hatte.

War mit einer Freundin dort zum Brunch ,das Essen ist in Ordnung aber nix besonderes .Ich finde für den Preis 18,60€ könnte es besser sein .Es gibt halt Leute die nicht soviel Essen wie wir und dafür ist der Preis zu hoch 🤷 .Alle paar Jahre kann man sich da erlauben 😉

Überhaupt kein allergikerfreundliches Restaurant! Ich habe ein, auf der Karte als glutenfrei (Also ohne A) gekennzeichnetes, Gericht bestellt und habe es mit Brotkrumen als Dekoration erhalten. Das obwohl ich vorher gefragt hatte, was glutenfrei sei und mir gesagt wurde ich kann auf der Karte schauen. Als ich dann gefragt habe, ob das Eis glutenfrei wäre, hieß es dann “das weiß ich nicht, wir haben das nur gekauft” und erst auf mein erneutes nachfragen hin wurde dann nachgeschaut und ich wurde dann erst ungefähr eine Viertelstunde später informiert es sei Gluten darin. Eine Alternative wurde nicht angeboten. Das Restaurant ist also keinesfalls für Allergiker verlässlich und die Reaktion des Personals habe ich als sehr unfreundlich empfunden. Wenigstens hat der Lillet geschmeckt.

Waren vor kurzem seit langer Zeit wieder da und die Pizza die wir hatten war richtig lecker 😋

Tolles Ambiente, die Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet vielfältig und gut - die Brötchen.. .. Naja, da geht für den stolzen Preis von 18,50 € bestimmt auch mehr - mein Eindruck: aus dem ALDI 😏

Wir waren zum Frühstück dort. Schönes Ambiente, nette und freundliche Bedienung, sehr gute und reichliche Auswahl, alles was das Herz begehrt in einer liebevoll eingerichteten Umgebung.

Der Preis für das Frühstücksbuffet ist in punkto Auswahl, Qualität und Service nicht ganz gerechtfertigt aber gerade noch vertretbar.

Kurzfristig haben wir hier noch einen Tisch am Wochenende ergattern können. Das Ambiente der Schlemmergalerie ist einfach traumhaft schön. Die Karte bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas. Das Essen ist sehr liebevoll und mit Liebe zum Detail angerichtet und geschmacklich sehr toll abgestimmt. Der Service kümmert sich sehr gut um die Gäste. Sehr zu empfehlen ist hier auch das Frühstück / Brunch.

Sehr schönes Ambiente. Die Pizza war außergewöhnlich, mit einem verlaufenden Käsekern in der Mitte. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal.
