We were here on a Sunday in autumn. There were plenty of seats. The ambiance is, well, nostalgic, or perhaps in need of renovation. The service, however, was efficient and very friendly. The most important thing in a restaurant, though, is the food, and that simply wasn't good. The croquettes and the schnitzel tasted of old oil, and the mushrooms in the side dish were poorly prepared. At least the portions were large, and the price was reasonably fair. I wouldn't recommend it.

There were two of us, we had delicious food and drinks, everything was perfect.

We booked for eight people and a table was reserved for us. The food was okay in terms of price and taste. Some of the schnitzels were very thick and dry. The ambiance is dated and it was quite stuffy in places. The restrooms were very dirty, and unfortunately, the path to them, which runs past the kitchen, was also dirty. This really needs to be renovated or updated.

Despite having a table reservation, we still managed to get a table for two. We ordered, waited only a short time, and then enjoyed our delicious meal. 😋The food was excellent and tasted great. Reservations are always a plus. Highly recommended, and we'd go back anytime.

A relic from a bygone era. Celebrated a silver wedding anniversary there for the first time 48 years ago. A great location on the lake and still highly recommended.

The food was okay. I had the cordon bleu, and for that price, I would have preferred fresh produce. Okay, I went back the next day to eat pike-perch fillet with seasoned meat. It sounded great, but then I only got three small fish tails with the seasoned meat and some canned potatoes or something similar, for a whopping €22.50. What a shame.

This beautiful and quaint restaurant is always worth a visit. Located on the northern shore of Lake Süßen See, it offers a stunning view of the lake and the surrounding area. The very friendly staff can also provide information about regional specialties. In my opinion, the food on offer is very good and perfectly rounds off a visit to the Seeperle. If you're passing through, you should plan a stop here.

The cuisine rightfully deserves five stars. Nowhere else can you find tastier fish than here. Enjoy it on the deck in the sunshine, overlooking the lake.

We've been visiting the "Schiffchen" regularly since I was a child, and the restaurant hasn't lost any of its charm to this day... The food and drinks selection is very good, with something to satisfy both large and small appetites. The staff is very friendly and makes every effort. The prices are great.

Only lake view enjoyed by the water

A solid lunch menu is also available at 4:00 PM, with a note saying the table is reserved from 6:00 PM onward. That's perfectly fine for us.

Once a year we go to Seeburg to the sweet lake, in Höhnstedt to the vineyards and fruit trees, usually to eat fish at Kernersee, but this time we ate at the Seeperle. It was great, there were delicious fish dishes as well as meat dishes. It was very tasty, the seating was very nice, everyone was very nice, the price/performance ratio was very good, and there was local wine to go with it, what more could you want?

The kitchen closes at 5 p.m. on Sundays, but by 4:50 p.m. you are no longer being served.

Rustic, and yes, there's nothing more to say. Very friendly service, and everything was brought very quickly. Prices and quality are very good. It's worth a stop.

We had a salad with a chicken skewer and a schnitzel ou four with fries. The chicken had the consistency of gristle and tasted (not) like that. The schnitzel was okay, but the meat and the cheese on top weren't particularly tasty. Furthermore, the cheese was just layered on top and had no browning at all. The Coke I ordered with it tasted more like water than a real Coke. The Kiba was okay. The service was friendly, the ambiance was quite chic. I still won't be coming back here.

Great service, but the pork loin steak was too thin and dry for me. The air in the ship quickly ran out.

I've known the Seeperle since I was a child (spiced meat and red soda). It's a bit old and could use a makeover - but then it wouldn't be the same anymore.

The restaurant is located in Seeburg on Uferstraße near the swimming pool. Parking is limited to a maximum of 10 spaces and is also used by non-visitors. It's housed in a very old former river steamer. It's in a very run-down condition both inside and out. It needs a fresh coat of paint. The prices are average, and the food is acceptable. The staff tries their best and is very friendly, but they're a bit overwhelmed and understaffed.

The food is very good. It doesn't take too long to arrive. It's best to reserve a table a few days in advance.

If you don't come here, it's only your own fault. Great food and a fantastic location. I'd love to come again.

We came from Berlin to visit family. The atmosphere was simply beautiful, right by the lovely lake, and the interior was quaint and cozy. It wasn't a problem with one more person than we had reserved. They helped us quickly. The food was absolutely delicious. We had a fish dish. The salad was reminiscent of GDR times. Simply delicious. The service was nice, friendly, and accommodating. Wonderful, tasty, down-to-earth German food with a great price-performance ratio. You rarely find that here these days. So thank you, and keep up the good work. Best wishes from Berlin.

A very nice restaurant, but unfortunately a complete disaster for vegetarians. The only vegetarian dish on the menu (except for the pancakes on the children's menu) is a salad. When I asked if there was a vegetarian pasta sauce, I was immediately told no, and was offered tagliatelle with peas. That's not contemporary in 2025.

Always a place to feel good, since the ship is older, many people complain that nothing has been done, but it's just the way it was built. In a castle, I don't take down the chandelier from before and hang up a modern lamp.

Very interesting atmosphere. We ate asparagus with schnitzel and pike perch, it all looked great, but unfortunately neither of us really liked the taste. The asparagus was okay.

If someone wants to eat disgusting, almost raw asparagus for a lot of money, this is the place for them. When we complained, the asparagus wasn't checked; the chef just told us through the waiter that it was al dente and everyone else wanted it that way. Raw food is also al dente, but we ordered cooked asparagus. Very big disappointment around 85th birthday.

Yesterday we visited Halle and from there took a short trip to Seeburg. The ship's restaurant is easily accessible and has plenty of parking space. Indoor and outdoor seating is available, although outdoor dining is a little noisier due to the adjacent street. The service was extremely friendly and the order was taken quickly. We enjoyed coffee and ice cream sundaes, the latter was generously portioned and visually appealing. In summary, if you are looking for a relaxing break, this is the place for you. The successful combination of a pleasant atmosphere and the opportunity to enjoy food and drinks without sitting directly by the lake is convincing. A return visit is planned; my recommendation.

Went here on Sunday for coffee. The service is friendly, coffee, cake and ice cream are delicious. The view of the sweet lake is very beautiful.

We go there regularly for birthdays and we love the atmosphere of the ship. The food tastes good, the dessert tastes good and you are very satisfied. And of course the service is also very nice. 🙂

So... The food tasted great. Had fish. One piece was a bit tough and the other was buttery. Overall, the portion was not enough for around 25 euros. All the ingredients, especially the salad, were freshly prepared. The taste of the salad plate beforehand reminded me of a vegetarian kebab. The atmosphere is very cozy.

I was invited to the ship's restaurant on October 20, 2024. I am impressed by the ambience and the very good food. But I would particularly like to highlight the service staff (waitress), I haven't experienced anything so friendly and nice for a long time. But the food is also simply great, the fish soup that they have there is worth mentioning, I even got some fish soup to take home with me. I will definitely come back with friends and children. I can only positively recommend the Seeperle. Keep it up. Thank you.

Got a table for 2 without booking in advance. Someone from service immediately came to take our drink requests, and they were there a little later. And the food order was quick too. The food was delicious and fresh, beautifully prepared. Everything is just right here...super friendly service, delicious food, cozy atmosphere... I would be happy to recommend you👍🤗

Very surprised... When you come from Bavaria with a good 400 km in your bones and drive to the campsite (Seeburg campsite) in the afternoon, all you want to do is eat well and drink something. The Seeperle turned out to be a great location: delicious food, rustic atmosphere and great service! We felt very comfortable here... Anyone who stops here, for whatever reason, should stop by here. We'll definitely come back to eat zander fillet...😉

I knew the ship from the 80s and was happy that it still exists. We walked there from the center of Seeburg, the footpath was illuminated throughout. Despite the end of summer, it was very busy on a Tuesday evening, but we still got a place on the terrace with a beautiful view of the lake. So be sure to reserve in advance. The service was very friendly and attentive. Drinks were brought quickly and the food didn't take long to arrive, despite the full house. Everything is fresh and homemade and tasted very good. Portions were also quite large. The prices are absolutely reasonable. We'd love to come back again.

Very nice with a view of the lake

Wow! We test a lot of gastro egg dishes when we're on the go! But that was really great! Despite many guests and apparently little staff, everything was still carried out in a timely manner! The atmosphere is really great, it fits the lake perfectly! Cheers to the kitchen! This was by far the best fish I have ever eaten!! And with a lot of guests in the house! Keep it up, we'll definitely be back!!!

It was sometimes difficult to get a seat/table but if there was something free it was worth it in all respects.

The Seenperle is an old ship where you can eat really well and cheaply, but you should order in advance because it is not always possible to get a seat

A nice excursion restaurant as a former ship only now on dry land with a great view of the lake. There are parking spaces in front. When it comes to fish, the menu is very varied and interesting, but unfortunately most of the fish is not from the lake. I think the honesty of the service is really good, although the prices for the fish dishes are ridiculous. Even on the Baltic Sea it was a little cheaper. The meal itself, the steak in this case, was okay and tasted good.

A restaurant with good value for money. I will definitely come here again.

Still as comfortable as it was 25 years ago

We were there with a motorcycle group of 13 people, when one of us went in he was immediately approached by the landlord in a rude manner, what was going on, we asked about space and off we went straight away, we don't have one, they didn't even try to find a solution, that's it For me, that's a reason not to go there anymore because you don't have to, the top hammer was that the landlord called the public order office because we had parked our vehicles diagonally in front of the location. For me, I can't go there anymore If you go there or can recommend this restaurant, it's absolutely underground.

The food is very plentiful and, as is typical for the GDR, the food is moderately cooked.

We were on the ship for the first time today and we are very satisfied. The food was 1A* and it had been a long time since we had eaten this deliciously in a restaurant and the portions were more than enough for us. We have rarely left a restaurant with a cozy atmosphere so full . We can recommend it 100%! We will be back!!

This was our second time here and it was fantastic.

Before we could even eat, we were ironed out, apparently too full. Too bad, we weren't allowed to sit outside either. We were met with a feeling of being completely overwhelmed. Maybe next time........
