We were here spontaneously for lunch today. Great restaurant with a lot of history. We received a very friendly welcome with our children. For the little ones there is a small extra card with coloring fun. Was very well received by us. We chose the hake in beer batter. It was beautifully prepared and tasted fantastic! We think the playground is great. This means it won't be too boring for the children. Parking available and toilets very clean. We'll definitely be back. 💐🍽🥂

A very good fish restaurant with very tasty dishes and nice staff. We were there last year because we were nearby anyway and this year we drove an hour there. However, you should make a reservation a few days in advance, as the restaurant is busy and you may not be able to get a seat. For us, a visit here is part of our Rügen holiday and we will definitely come back.

I arrived alone, the inner courtyard was full, but a table that had previously been used as storage space was freed up... great👍 Even though the place was full, the food didn't take long and was delicious... top👍 A request for a change (1/2 portion) of an appetizer was realized and the price was adjusted accordingly... top👍 A really successful dinner...highly recommended!!🤗

Unfortunately we weren't allowed in with a dog. Due to the weather, the outdoor area was closed. At least there was a beer from the nice waiter...

We were on a Sunday trip to Bakenberg, where we noticed the restaurant was inviting from the outside. We were pleasantly surprised. The service was very friendly and there are meat, fish dishes and even a children's menu. For dinner we order Pomeranian tapas (Majes Tatar). It was deliciously presented and that's exactly how it tasted. The restaurant makes a very clean impression both outside and tastefully decorated inside. On your next round trip, maybe for lunch.

We went there for dinner with the family. The ambience alone invited us. We were greeted by very nice service. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating. Addressed our children directly (which not everyone can or likes) Always a smile when serving the guests. Our food also came quite quickly, which was fresh and great. Nice sufficient portions at the usual prices. Which is of course completely justified compared to other restaurants. Our expectations were exceeded. We can say that we are familiar with local fish dishes and different restaurants. So if you're vacationing in the area, treat yourself to a meal (or more).

Absolutely recommended, the last vacations were always at the Schifferkrug in der Kuhle, where we stopped for lunch. The food is always top fresh, always perfectly prepared according to my/our wishes. The staff, the kitchen, everything was perfect in my eyes and our opinion, friendly, accommodating and super friendly. Everything is right here. Thank you and please keep it up.

Modern, regional cuisine that leaves nothing to be desired. We have been there several times and have always been very satisfied. Dessert is highly recommended, no matter what it is.

We went to Schifferkrug for dinner at the end of our vacation. We had already reserved a table for 6 people. It wasn't a problem at all when we sat down on the terrace. Because the reserved tables are only possible inside. We enjoyed it very much and can only recommend it. Kudos to the chef. And the service was also great! There is a playground that our son enjoyed using. We'll definitely come back!!

Everyone was very nice, really good food and great, a playground for the little ones.

We were there for dinner. We called ahead and got a table for 4 people easily. I took the pike perch with fried potatoes and what can I say, it was very good. The price-performance ratio is great. For dessert there was chocolate soufflé with vanilla sauce. Really delicious. The staff is very nice, no long waiting times and the whole thing in a local, maritime atmosphere. We'll be back and can happily recommend it.

We had lunch here on the day we arrived on Rügen. Our landlord's contact person recommended the Schifferkrug to us and didn't promise too much. Great and lovely service and the food was incredibly good. Our oldest (7 years) would have given 10 stars instead of 5 and the middle one (4 years) gave out her highest award, namely the double thumb👍🏻👍🏻 We'll definitely see each other again!😁

The food was very tasty... I had pasta with salmon fillet and spinach and my wife had fried potatoes with hake in beer batter... We were very excited. The waiter briefly introduced himself and that he was serving us. Friendly and requests are taken into account.

We love it, we go here several times every year on vacation. On the one hand, it is very close to the accommodation, on the other hand (and this is much more important) it is incredibly tasty, the waiters are incredibly accommodating and super nice. The food is super super delicious.

We “landed” at Schifferkrug by chance in the summer of 2013 and didn’t regret it. Even though all the tables were occupied, the food came very quickly and was very tasty. We will definitely stop by again...... September 2020, we're at the Schifferkrug again, everything was great like last time, we'll be back, just because of the Labskaus! Update 2022-again in the Schifferkrug, still great food and nice service! We will be back. Update 2024, stopped by the Schifferkrug again... Labskaus twice, what a pleasure! Operation and service was great despite the full house. We will definitely come back!!!

Wir waren, aufgrund des Hundes, erst im letzten Jahr, nach mehreren Jahren Unterbrechung wieder zum Essen da. Seitdem gehen wir jeden Tag zum Essen in dieses feine Lokal/Restaurant, trotz unseres Hundes. :-) Für uns ist der Fisch jedes Mal absolut top zubereitet, perfekt gegart. Das jeweilige Essen kommt sehr schnell an den Tisch. Wir/ich sind zwar keine Gourmets, wissen aber was gutes essen bedeutet und das ist nicht nur gut, das Essen ist einfach perfekt in allen Lagen. Auch die Speisenmenge ist für uns mehr als ausreichend, oftmals sogar Zuviel. Schade das wir nur die Gelegenheit haben hier zu genießen, wenn wir hier im Urlaub sind. Vielen vielen Dank das es so ein tolles Restaurant mit dem super freundlichen Personal gibt. Bitte bleibt uns ewig erhalten. Ihr seid sehr gut.

We were there during our vacation. Shortly beforehand, we called the restaurant to reserve a table and to find out whether our dog was also welcome. The gentleman on the phone was very unfriendly, but told us that we could come over. When we arrived we were told that a table with a dog was only possible outside and a reservation for the terrace was not possible. After we had “selected” a table for two, this was not possible because it was probably reserved. (Funny?! Reservations outside aren't actually possible?!) Ordering was very uncomplicated. The food was fabulous and the dessert left nothing to be desired!! (Big compliments to the kitchen!!) After a while, a larger group arrived and were allowed to sit down inside, including their dog (!!!!). Strangely enough, this dog was allowed to both sit on a chair and take his food from the table. (?!) After we asked for the bill and didn't pay a tip, the waitress was very frustrated and we were only bid farewell with a "bye". All in all, we can only recommend the restaurant to a limited extent. But the food and the ambience were really great! Very unfortunate...

The oldest mentioned restaurant on Rügen with a corresponding sense of tradition. The employees are super nice and the food is great. The fish is superbly prepared and the fried potatoes are also a poem. I always enjoy coming to the Schifferkrug.

Locals also come here for a bite to eat, which is often a good sign. Not a high-end restaurant but excellent value for money for just eating. Excellent hospitable service and believe it or not, you can pay by card! A big advantage, because who wants to walk around with cash in their pocket? Paying by card is the time of the moment! This restaurant goes along with it and does its best to please the guests.

We ate there on Saturday to fortify ourselves during a bike ride. It is 100% worth a stop. We haven't eaten something so tasty for a long time. My girlfriend has pickled fried herrings, I have steak with seasoned meat, like before... Everything is still made there in-house, from the sauce to the dressing and you can taste it. Absolutely recommended and definitely worth trying. Beautiful on the terrace when the sun is shining, but the ambience inside is also very appealing. It was a more wonderful taste experience. Thank you very much and keep it up.

We hiked for 3 hours and then wanted to eat our well-deserved meal here, but no! You are not allowed in here with a dog! You could have written that on the website. So we went to Schreiber's fish stand with the dog. Food top and inexpensive. When it was 6 degrees outside, I could only have ordered a cold salad and not lunch!

After 40 years again in the Fischerkrug in Kuhle. I was very pleasantly surprised, extremely nice staff, even without a reservation. The food was high quality and tasted very good. We would like to thank you for the great service and would be happy to come back.

Die Mitarbeiter*innen sind sehr nett. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut. Mir hat besonders das Schokoküchlein mit schoko Füllung und Vanille Sauce geschmeckt. Die heiße Schokolade war richtig lecker.

We have been visiting the Windland more or less regularly for over 20 years and, obligatory for every holiday, we stop at the Schifferkrug once... we got to know the Krug as small, cozy and regional... the crew and the Krug have grown over the years and you can get around one Reservation no longer available. What remains is the cosiness and the regional. You are always greeted in a friendly manner and we rate child-friendliness 10*.

The service is super friendly, the portions are great for the price... all in all, this restaurant is an absolute must when you're on Rügen! It's always worth it 🙃

Älteste Gastwirtschaft Rügens. Netter Service, schönes Ambiente, schmackhaftes Essen.

Beim Personal fängt es an...total auf zack und egal wie groß der Andrang und der Stress ist, die sind lieb, die haben ein Lächeln und immer nen coolen Spruch..  also wer dort wirklich mal etwas warten muss und sehenden Auges und nicht gänzlich frei von Humor ist, der macht da kein Fass auf, sondern erkennt denen das hoch an. Auch die Crew hinter den Kulissen hat ihren Job absolut drauf...das Essen ist nicht nur qualitativ hochwertig, es ist auch jedes mal wieder vom Feinsten zubereitet...der Fisch auf den Punkt..das Steak superzart..dazu Weltbratkartoffeln 👌🏼 und selbst das Salatblatt mit Beilage isst man auf, weil das Dressing so geil ist 😋 des Schokoladensouffle ist ein Schokoladentraum mit flüssigem Kern...da ist es fast schade, dass man irgendwann dann doch vor sich selbst zugeben muss, dass man satt ist. Wir saßen in allen vier Jahren an jedem uns bereiteten Tisch sehr gut und selbst als uns draußen mal ein Regenschauer überraschte, wurde uns ganz flexibel ein Tisch drinnen zurechtgemacht. Für Kids ist draußen ein toller Spielplatz und am Tisch gibt's was zum ausmalen. Die sanitären Anlagen sind sauber und gepflegt...für uns gab es bisher nur mehr und mehr Gründe, wiederzukommen und sich wohlzufühlen. Wir sind dankbar und begeistert....immer immer wieder!

Ab 16 Uhr war eine Reservierung möglich. Wir haben sehr gut gegessen und getrunken. Sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service ohne lange Wartezeiten auf Essen und Getränke. Gerne wieder!

Fisch, Fisch, Fisch.... Aber....., auf Rügen kann man auch super Schnitzel und Rumpsteak genießen. Und zwar im Schifferkrug. Lange kein so gutes Schnitzel gegessen. Für Kinder gibts ne Kinderkarte und einen Spielplatz. Das beste war jedoch der Kellner, der mit seiner entspannten Art, Ruhe und Gelassenheit ausstrahlte, welche man ja beim Essen haben sollte.
