For years, a must-visit on vacation. The food is delicious, the service incredibly friendly. Highly recommended.

After a cold day, this very restaurant was the highlight of the day. A great atmosphere with very friendly and authentic staff, and the food was exceptionally delicious. I particularly enjoyed the seasonal daily specials. From inspiring starters to perfectly presented fish dishes and desserts, there's something for everyone. Perfect and highly recommended! 😀

Unfortunately, we hadn't reserved a table and tried to get one on the spur of the moment. Even though they were fully booked for the evening, they gave us a table. We sat in the conservatory, which was unfortunately a bit cold, hence the point deduction. The menu is small but there was something for everyone. We chose meat and fish and were not disappointed. The food was delicious, the service very friendly, and all at a fair price.

The food took a while to arrive, but that means it was really fresh and not frozen. It was truly delicious and served piping hot. I haven't had such a good meal in a long time. The dessert was also simply divine. The value for money is excellent. We highly recommend it.

The food was excellent: the salmon pasta dish was of superb quality, the plaice with fried potatoes and cucumber salad was delicious, couldn't be better, and the fish solyanka was plentiful and very well seasoned. Rügen's oldest fisherman's pub (since 1455) doesn't show its age from the outside, and the lovingly designed interior makes it easy to imagine that fishermen and guests must have felt at home here hundreds of years ago. Guests today can also feel at home, as the warm, friendly staff and excellent cuisine ensure that the Schifferkrug is readily recommended. A reservation, such as for a birthday, is certainly a good idea, but the pleasant outdoor area also invites hungry and thirsty passers-by to take a break. A visit is definitely always worthwhile!

That day, service was a bit slow, but it was also very busy. Unfortunately, we didn't get our drinks until shortly after the main course (we also had an appetizer, by the way). But that didn't really bother us. We were lucky to have gotten a table at such short notice via email, and the food was delicious. The menu is large enough that the food is fresh and everyone will find something they like. Highly recommended; next time we visit, we'll definitely give it a full 5 stars.

The two of us made a reservation an hour in advance and were able to get a table. It was busy, but all the staff seemed very friendly and not annoyed. We ordered two drinks and two meals from a younger man. And... NOTHING happened! We sat at our table for half an hour without getting anything. Until the man came back to us and had forgotten what we had ordered. Not a single word of apology escaped his lips! After 40 minutes, we finally got our drinks, and the food didn't take long to arrive. It was delicious, but could have been a bit more for the price. We then ordered two more desserts from the same waiter, only one of which made it to our table... Our impression was therefore very mixed! We were there on August 5, 2025.

Very delicious food!!! Reasonable prices. Wait times were acceptable. Child-friendly with a dedicated playground for younger guests, an extensive children's menu, and coloring opportunities. Reservations are essential, as it's very busy and popular in August. The manager's complaining, with two waitresses in front of the guests, was unpleasant because the schedule wasn't running smoothly.

We went to this restaurant today with seven people plus a toddler. The staff was extremely attentive, friendly, and accommodating. Choosing the dishes wasn't easy because everything sounded really good. The food arrived quickly and was truly delicious. A high chair and matching children's cutlery were prepared for our youngest guest. There was also a small children's menu for coloring. The best of all, however, was the chocolate soufflé 🥰 Highly recommended. A restaurant that fulfills all our wishes and we would gladly visit again. Thank you very much and keep up the good work. 😊

It's been fantastic and delicious from the start, and it keeps getting better, more modern yet still traditionally delicious. The food is simply unbeatable, and the service is second to none. Despite making a reservation, I was seated late and then ignored. Left without ordering. Staff were hopelessly overwhelmed. Guests without reservations were served quickly.

We spent a week in Dranske and ate here three times. The restaurant is nice and rustic where you can sit very comfortably and the service is very friendly. The food has always been very tasty and the value for money is great. But you should reserve a table in advance

The waitress (the nice lady) was very friendly and accommodating and always had a smile on her face. We were served quickly, the children had nice coloring pictures and were busy. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. The food came quite quickly and tasted very good. This restaurant is highly recommended!

We've been here several times over the past few years. You can enjoy very well-prepared, home-style cooking here. The menu is very varied, from fresh fish to solyanka, to schnitzel and steak au four – good old GDR cuisine, of course. However, it's not exactly cheap... Some of this "you'll be seated" culture is still alive here. A female waitress objected to us sitting down at one of the empty tables outside. She wanted to seat us next to a strange couple, even though most of the tables were still empty – a no-go these days. I declined, of course. But that's forgiven, since the waitress must have trained in the GDR, just like me 😉. Nobody is perfect – we'll be back!

As always a celebration. Great food served by very friendly staff at absolutely moderate prices in a cozy atmosphere. That says everything. Fresh fish or hearty meat dishes are available. Vegans are also thought of. There are enough parking spaces directly available. Access is at ground level, so visiting with a wheelchair is no problem. Dogs stay outside. Payment is possible in cash or with all cards.

Great food and the fish was on point. If you want to eat well, this is the place for you. Staff and ambience would be great again.

We called spontaneously and got a place but only because there were only three of us, otherwise it would have been difficult. Food came super quickly and everything was very tasty, we had schnitzel and this was really great and not a frozen schnitzel. The entire staff was very friendly and loved children. Dogs are not allowed but we left ours at home so it wasn't too bad. If we happen to be up here again, we will definitely eat here again.
