Unfortunately, the evening was a disaster because the service was terrible. After a long wait, my drink finally arrived, but then nothing more came. After sitting there for about two hours without a drink, the whole evening was ruined. And the atmosphere was at rock bottom.

Yesterday, my wife and I went there for the first time. We were planning our family birthday dinner and looking for a venue. We were both immediately impressed: a very charming, rustic place, really friendly service, and high-quality, delicious food. We booked it for the party right away. Highly recommended!

There were three of us and we came on the recommendation of another restaurant that had no tables available. The entrance area was very attractive. The staff were also very friendly. The atmosphere of the cellar was very rustic and pleasant. The menu, in the form of wooden boards, is also very creative and fits the ambiance. We were disappointed when we read the menu. The onion roast beef is only available with bread. My husband and I were looking forward to the filet pan with spaetzle and mushrooms. The wait for the dishes was reasonable. The onion roast beef with extra potato salad came first. The meat was well cooked. The bread, however, was the cheapest industrial bread. We watched our friend eat because the pans took longer to arrive. When the dishes arrived at the table with a specially ordered side salad, our anticipation turned to disappointment. There was a lot of cress on the side salad, and only half of the leaf salad had dressing. The rest was run-of-the-mill standard fare. The spaetzle were tasteless and undercooked. The meat was well-cooked, but more like schnitzel, some of the pieces were so small. The mushrooms were mushroom caps from a jar or can. And the sauce was too thin and there wasn't enough of it, which made the dish very dry. After we'd finished our meal, we had to remind the waitress three times that we wanted to pay. She made excuses by saying that the ordered dishes had to go to the guests first, even though she passed our table empty-handed several times. When my husband became grumpy, the waitress came with the bills. None of us tipped. We were disappointed because the ambiance promised a lot, which the kitchen, with its careless preparation, couldn't deliver. We won't be coming back.

It was a fantastic atmosphere, very friendly service and the food was excellent.

The two of us went to Schäfergäßle on a Thursday evening, and it was once again absolutely delicious. Both the Schäfergäßle salad and the pork cheeks with potato salad were excellent. The portions were generous, and the plates were empty by the end ;) The ambiance is very nice and super cozy. The service was excellent and very friendly. The value for money is really good. We'd be happy to go back anytime.

Cozy vaulted cellar, a bit noisy when it's full, but that's part of it. Delicious Swabian food for small and large appetites. We have always received very friendly service, which is why we like to go there again and again!

Very nice cellar and nice service. The food is average and not great! I ate loins and they were sliced, who does something like that. The spaetzle that came with it should be left to drain longer, as that waters down the sauce! I'll go back but just for something to drink!

Cozy wine cellar. Mega small plates, you can hardly get the side dishes on them. Unfortunately everything tastes neutral. Zero seasoning. Meat was of good quality, but unfortunately the chef had no sense of spices. That's a real shame, we all sat there and seasoned everything completely. The restaurant lives mainly through the ambience. Very friendly staff. But despite the ambience and friendliness, we probably won't come back.

Well, it's already on the map. "I've been sitting better." "But not with us." There are restaurants in the same town with much better food. Ambiance in a cellar is of course not bad. Priced like everyone else. Only very conditionally recommended. Was earlier much better; significantly better.

Toller, gemütlicher Gewölbekeller. Leckere regionale Küche und sehr herzlicher und zuvorkommender Service. Komme gerne wieder.

Die Bewertung resultiert aus Anlass einer Geburtstagsfeier mit an die 30 Gästen. Positiv hervorzuheben sind gut ein halbes Dutzend zugewiesene Parkplätze vor der Lokation. Die Weinkelleratmosphäre ist ebenfalls sehr einladend und stimmungsvoll. Reinlich sind die Toiletten. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Für zwei Punkte Abzug beim Service gibt es zwei Gründe: Personal für Getränke war selten präsent. Nicht einmal musste in die Küche hinein gerufen werden, um an Wein oder zu Sprudel zu gelangen. Außerdem ist es unangebracht, an einen Tisch mit 16 Personen immer nur eine kleine Flasche Sprudel hinzustellen. Mit geringem Aufwand wäre dieser Service optimierbar. Für ertragreicheren Umsatz gefiele auch, wenn man zu Tische leere Weinflaschen nicht stehen ließe, sondern durch Volle ersetze. Das Essen war geschmacklich okay und die Menge ausreichend. Der Salatteller war knackig mit einer leckeren Vinaigrette. Der Wengerterbraten mit Spätzle und Kartoffelsalat waren schmackhaft, vor allem das dunkle Sößle. Doch auch hier wurden leere Schüsseln mit Beilagen erst auf Nachfrage aufgefüllt. Geschmacklich war der Nachtisch, Eis mit Walnüsse und Baileys, ein Genuss. Fazit: Wieder zu Gast sein, kann empfohlen werden. Evtl. ist dann der Service auch besser.

Tolles Ambiente, leckere Getränke. Essen zum Teil sehr gut, zum Teil naja.

Geschmacklich ok. Preis und Leistung stehen aber in keinem Verhältnis. Der bunte Beilagensalat für 6 € besteht z.B. nur aus Blattsalaten mit bunter Deko. Die Portionen sind für die aufgerufenen Preise viel zu klein. Die Bilder täuschen, da die Teller sehr klein sind.

Erster Besuch und sehr begeistert. Sehr gutes Essen, freundlicher schneller Service und schönes Ambiente im Keller des alten Fachwerkhauses. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Was soll ich schreiben? Hingehen und genießen.

Kleine und feine Speisekarte mit schwäbischen Spezialitäten. Das Essen war sehr lecker und es waren große Portionen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war sehr, sehr gut. Der Biergarten ist relativ klein, hat jedoch ein sehr gemütliches Ambiente. Kostenlose Parkplätze sind direkt vor der Gaststätte vorhanden. Das Highlight ist definitiv der Innenbereich mit dem Gewölbekeller-Flair mit geselligen Sitzbänken für lange gemeinschaftliche Abende :-) War ein sehr schöner Abend bei Euch ♡
