Unfortunately, I can't recommend this restaurant. The pho tastes nothing like the original – bland, artificial, and unloved. The ramen also seems like it came straight from the freezer instead of freshly prepared. The quality of the ingredients leaves a lot to be desired, and the flavors are miles away from authentic Vietnamese or Japanese cuisine. It would really be better if there were real experts in Japanese and Vietnamese cuisine working here who knew how to use authentic ingredients and spices. That way, you can expect authentic food – anything else is a disappointment for anyone who loves authentic Asian cuisine.

The food was tasty, but the portion was too small. I ordered chicken soup, and I felt that the amount was not appropriate. There were only five small pieces of chicken and just enough noodles for about four bites.

We had sushi today – there are definitely better options in the city. It had the feel of airplane food and was probably made that morning. There was also plenty of dill around the sushi, which really enhanced the flavor. The skewers, on the other hand, were very good. I think you should stick to the bowls. They're definitely the better choice.

One of my favourite places as a Munich local - my go to order is number 10 & sticky mango rice🥭 it is very delicious, full of spice (but not spicy) and does not feel like a lot of glutamate

The food doesn't taste good at all. The sauces are really disgusting, but the food comes quickly, and the atmosphere isn't great either. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it. I even think 2 stars is very generous.

Very good food and huge selection

Good choice of dishes, tasty. Not expensive. Little space inside, so there are queues. The employee at the checkout really rushes you.

We just grabbed a small snack here: a summer roll with shrimp, edamame, and mango sticky rice. Everything was very good; the edamame could have used a bit more salt and soy sauce, and the sticky rice was so incredibly good!

It’s a fast food Asian restaurant. You pay at the cash register and get it immediately. The food was ok. The mango sticky rice was extremely good. Chairs were uncomfortable. If you’re tired and wand a comfortable seat to have your meal, I would not recommend this place. But other than that, the place was ok.

Soups No. 2 and No. 7. Homemade ginger lemonade, mango spritzer, and mochi (we tried all three varieties). We paid €45 for two people. The food was delicious and prepared quickly. We'll definitely be back.

Came in looking for vegetarian food. Chose one which was vegan. They have displays of each dish, but what you get doesnt look anything like it :) The noodles had a distinct egg smell. On asking the staff they seemed confused if it was egg based or not. One of the staff said yes, another said no. unfortunately we couldnt take a chance and left the food.

I was a bit cautious but I was totally wrong, the food was great , the server really nice and the drinks ok Right in the main area of Munich , what a great little find this place !

Overpriced for what it is. Soup No. 7 tastes like ready-made broth with a few sprout-sized chunks of bell pepper and zucchini.

Good food and friendly, competent staff

I ordered an Easy praw and it is really delicious and fresh, ideal as a summer lunch when it is too hot.

This is the WORST food I’ve had in Munich. The yasai ramen was extremely salty. It was so disgusting that I could hardly had a second bite. The easy udon was eatable, apparently in comparison. But its taste was still very strange. My partner and I were quite traumatised by the food.

There were three of us there, and the service was nice; the bowls came very quickly. They were really warm and very tasty. It was also great that you could see all the dishes in the display (a mockup).

Ordered pho bo and soba soups - they felt thin and empty

EUR15.5 for very small portion of ramen. Way overpriced. Not tasty at all. Dont come.

It is located in the very center. They cook very quickly, but it is delicious. It is cool that there are mock-ups of dishes, and you can clearly understand what you will have)

I'm so disappointed. I feel so bad about my money. I wanted chicken skewers (yakitori skewers) and they smell and taste like rags! I'm not kidding, I'm a chicken lover and this definitely wasn't chicken. Inedible. Why isn't there regular rice here? I thought mango rice was some kind of rice with curry sauce and mango, but I got a dessert. I feel sick, I'm disappointed, and I'm going to get some food from the Edeka bakery section.

Overall, it's sweet. It might be good to eat when it's cold. The food comes out within 5 minutes of ordering. It's the first time I've had a bad experience eating ramen and udon.

We've always been able to rely on everything we've ordered here for years. The best sticky rice with mango for miles around. Unfortunately, the outdoor chairs aren't that comfortable, and the material makes them noisy when moved, which makes eating outside less than pleasant.

The food here is delicious, and they even have plastic models so you can see what the food looks like. This helps enormously when choosing your food, and even after ordering, you get your food quickly. The value for money is very good, and the staff is very friendly and polite. There's plenty of seating inside and outside, and it's also very nicely decorated. Overall, I highly recommend Sasou.

The food is good but nothing very impressive. It is a very good option to go if you want something quick but delicious. The quality-price ratio is good. The only thing we didn't like was that even though we paid for a bottle of water to share, they didn't want to give us glasses for everyone, just one.

The ramen is frozen and they directly add hot water to it, not to forget the soup is super salty

Lousy food. Everything was too salty, some of the preparations we ordered were tasteless. Terrible attention.

There is enough variety of dishes in the restaurant, so we may have been unlucky. My girlfriend and I once had Pho Bo, sushi no. Ordered 2 and Yakitori Udon. The food was okay at first, but after the fourth or fifth bite it was inedible. With udon, the broth was too sweet and the meat was very dry. Pho also had dry meat and, strangely enough, the broth was very cinnamony, oily and bitter. But otherwise the noodles were delicious. Sushi was average in my opinion.

I received my order very quickly. There is the option to order vegetarian dishes. I enjoyed the noodles in the ramen, but overall the experience wasn't entirely convincing.

Fast service because the food is there within 1 minute. Unfortunately, you notice that the ingredients have been sitting for a long time and are then brewed. The meat is dry, for example, and the broth is over-salted. Unfortunately, not recommended in terms of food.

Nice place! There is an interesting selection of Asian food. We were all very thirsty that night, so maybe it is a bit too salty for our habits. The service is bare bones: you order at the counter and the food arrives, nothing more. The atmosphere is a bit confusing, typical of these places.

The udon tasted really bad and the lady wokring the register who took my order was quite rude. Besides there's this constant noise of the ventilation system (?) that sounds like the restaurant was inside a train station

There are all European customers in the restaurant, so it probably doesn't cater mainly to Asians. I ordered pho, which tastes quite different from the Asian ones, but it’s a good choice when you need to go to the toilet and are hungry and don’t know what to eat.

There's just nothing to say about this restaurant, except that it's sometimes difficult to find a seat. But that just means that a lot of people like this store. There is a large selection of food, soups, sushi and other things and, above all, a lot of vegan and vegetarian options. Top!!

I went to Sasou Ramen Shop and tried the Lemongrass Chili Chicken. Simply fantastic! The spiciness was just right. The atmosphere in the store was cozy and the service was super friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes authentic, delicious ramen. Definitely come back!

He sido un cliente fiel de Sasou durante más de 10 años, pero mi experiencia reciente fue extremadamente decepcionante. Hace unos días, cené allí con mi hermana pequeña, y solo unas horas después, ambos nos despertamos en medio de la noche con intoxicación alimentaria. Llamamos al restaurante para informarles, pero su respuesta mostró poca o ninguna preocupación por la situación. Para empeorar las cosas, una amiga me contó más tarde sobre otro caso de intoxicación alimentaria hace unos meses que involucró a alguien que ella conoce que también comió en Sasou. Esto es inaceptable y debe tomarse en serio. El restaurante necesita priorizar la salud y la limpieza, e insto encarecidamente a las autoridades a realizar una inspección exhaustiva para garantizar que se cumplan las normas de seguridad alimentaria.

Nice restaurant, friendly service and good ramen. There is self-service, the ramen was ready after a few minutes. I thought the restaurant was ok, the tables were a bit uncomfortable for me, the ramen tasted good, but I've also eaten better. All in all, very solid. The prices are ok.

The frames were very tasty and the Tori Don tasted great. It feels like it's always full and we couldn't find a good place to eat, but it was definitely worth it.

Dec 24 12. It will be good to have something then German meals. This is like a fast food ramen bento meals . Walk in see what u want order pay find a seat and eat. No tips and free use of WC. Food is reasonable it is hot good for the cold weather plus got chilli especially for Asian. Pricing is reasonable. Quick and non frill.

Food was very tasty, lots of vegan options, good portions. The older lady at the checkout seemed stressed and was rather unfriendly, no real greeting, no warmth. As a paying customer you don't feel welcome at such a reception. The food came very quickly and was filling. The chairs are terrible to sit on. Not everything that is new (modern) is necessarily better. The ambience is generally rather poor, a lot of wood look but no attention to detail. The chefs do a good job and for the price you can put up with the rest if you happen to be nearby. Will come again for the delicious soup.

As an Asian, I am thankful that I can eat hot soup and hot rice in Europe. The soup and rice are both heavy in taste, but they are not unbearable. After all, I am happy to eat hot enough soup and rice.

A good asian place to eat a fast and easy lunch or dinner. The foods are on display so you kind of know what it is going to look like before you order. The sushi is okay. The place is warm and service is fast. Yet I think it was self service, kind of.

After a long time I was looking forward to a soup at Sasou again. Unfortunately they changed the broth recipe. This tastes like soup made from a bouillon cube that has been infused with too much water and peppered too much. What a shame!

I wanted to eat warm soup, so I went in, but the soup was very salty... I guess it's because it's Germany... I couldn't eat much and just left... I think the sushi would be the best if I go there...

The meal came quickly and the soup was nice and hot. The chili tofu was pleasantly spicy and the mushrooms had a good texture. Overall, the soup was a bit too salty for me. In terms of price, I found €13 to be relatively high for a snack bar-like restaurant.

Price performance for the food is good. The Pho is well seasoned and tastes delicious. The meat was very tender. Gladly again.

I don't recommend it. The clerk's attitude is very bad, and the portion is very small. After a few bites, you can't eat enough at all, and the taste is also very average.

The cashier was really unfriendly but the food was very good. We wanted to order something but couldn’t speak German so we just ordered in English. He ignored us and continued speaking German. Nobody could understand him but a German lady helped us and ordered. We were pretty upset but the food was worth it.

My friends who live here recommend me this place as their favourite restaurant. After being there now I can see why. Great food friendly staff very quick service

Dass das Essen seit Eröffnung des Restaurants nahezu unverändert angeboten wird, meist in zufriedenstellender Qualität…geschenkt. Dass das Preisniveau für die Portionsgrösse die Schmerzgrenze bereits überschritten hat… in München eher die Regel. Aber dass der extrem schlecht gelaunte Herr an der Kasse seine gesamte Frustration und Ungeduld über uns ausgeschüttet hat, das möchte ich mir bei €75,— für einen mittelmäßigen asiatischen Imbiss nicht bieten lassen. Vielleicht sollte die Geschäftsführung ab und zu mal vorbeischauen.
