Came here for the 50% brunch deal and it did not disappoint! The only downside is that it’s super crowded inside with 0 ventilation… Love that they have some pretty nice southeast Asian flavours and dishes that have yet to be super popular in the west.

We were here this evening with our company. Everything was delicious and the staff were very friendly.

The restaurant is very attractively decorated, but unfortunately, it wasn't heated enough due to the sub-zero temperatures outside. I had to eat wearing a jacket. The breakfast (avocado and salmon) was delicious and beautifully presented. However, contrary to other opinions, I found the prices a bit too high.

Not coming back. The brunch Bánh mì baguette was pure rubber, impossible to cut, bite or tear apart, I could only eat the scrambled egg filling, which was nothing to write home about. The waiter charged a random price for the meals, not what was on the menu, and tried to charge one person double. The 50% off deal sounds sweet, but I'd rather pay full price for a delicious brunch - available pretty much next door - anytime.

The ambiance was lovely and very cozy. The staff was friendly but sometimes seemed overwhelmed. Unfortunately, the coffee was incredibly watery. My friend summed up the food perfectly: "Pretty presentation of cheap ingredients." That's all it was, sadly. Serving toast on a plate is just ridiculous, and the avocado on top didn't make it any better. I had the bread with poached eggs and truffle, but it didn't taste even remotely of truffle; there were only two tiny, thin slices of truffle on it. It was only okay because of the 50% off sale; otherwise, I would have been annoyed. I can't recommend Anji for brunch, unfortunately. :( I can't comment on what it's like in the evening.

Lovely Asian restaurant with delicious food. One of my favorites. Prices are really good for Munich. The atmosphere is inviting – you feel very comfortable here. The noise level is pleasant. Takeout is also available. The service is very friendly. I'll definitely be back.

I ordered via Lieferando. The company has its own drivers... unfortunately, the driver wasn't careful with the transport, so the soy sauce for the sushi almost completely leaked out of the bag. As a result, our floor now has stains that are difficult to remove! The udon noodle soup is unfortunately very bland. I've eaten udon noodle soup in many different restaurants... this is by far the one I like the least. The sushi also doesn't seem fresh; the avocado pieces already have dark spots... some are even gray. The delivery arrived less than 20 minutes ago, which I can prove. I've completely lost my appetite. _________ What's particularly interesting is that the next day I received a text message from the restaurant saying that I should only leave a review on Lieferando if I ordered from them and not on Google. So, guys... the food came from your restaurant, and you do have your own drivers. ' ... Not only was the food not fresh, but the delivery was so careless. Now I'm also receiving private messages. If you contact me via WhatsApp, I'd be happy to send you photos of the stale sushi, including when the photos were taken.

The menu offers a huge selection of Far Eastern dishes: curries, sushi, soups, wontons—everything is there. The sushi we tried was very good; the curry only mediocre. I'm not usually one to leave food, but the portions are really very large. The ambiance is okay, the tables are quite small for the size of the plates, and everything feels rather cramped.

Extremely unreliable! We ordered food and the delivery time was postponed three times. After repeated inquiries, they couldn't give me a precise answer and only said the driver would be informed. Very disappointing when you have to wait two hours for two simple meals.

We've been to Anji twice now – once for lunch and once for brunch. The food was absolutely delicious both times, and the presentation was phenomenal (unfortunately, the photo of the sushi was taken too late – after we'd already decided to take it away – and doesn't do it justice). Service was quick, attentive, and very friendly. The price-performance ratio is reasonable. It's advisable to either make a reservation or avoid peak times. One time we had plenty of space, the other time it was packed. Highly recommended and our new favorite restaurant in the neighborhood!

Very fine food, friendly service and pleasant ambience

We were there for brunch and unfortunately, it wasn't all that tasty. I had a veggie breakfast pan and was surprised that the scrambled eggs came in a kind of cream sauce. It all just wasn't quite right. The pistachio pancakes were better, but a bit dry, and the sauce was very sweet. Unfortunately, the menu is sometimes a bit confusing (e.g., cotton meat, same drinks).

The food presentation and taste was amazing, the service is great and the restaurant is very nice! I highly recommend the Pad Thai.

The food was completely different from what was described on the menu. It was served cold and looked like it had been sitting in the kitchen for several hours. I ordered a vegetarian dish, but the plate contained chicken strips. When I questioned the waiter, he showed no understanding. The vegetables were carelessly placed on the edge and were obviously old. There were two of us eating there, and we both felt sick afterward. Oat milk costs an extra €1. I could buy a whole liter for that at the supermarket. Vivaldi's Four Seasons played on repeat in the background, which became tiring after the third time. The restaurant is desperately trying to attract customers. Currently, you can get 50% off brunch dishes, but it's definitely still too expensive for the quality. You also get a €20 voucher if you write a 5-star review. All in all, a huge disappointment. Better to go to the bakery next door and avoid the restaurant.

Wow!!!!!!! What a fantastic brunch! We've been to Anji several times for lunch or dinner and have always been completely thrilled with the food and the very friendly service. Today was our first time there for brunch, and we're truly speechless – what a fantastic selection, super delicious food, and the current prices are unbelievable, considering what a restaurant visit in Munich usually costs these days. We actually spent €22 (current special!) for two people, including tea, and had a huge platter. We highly recommend it!!! Finally, a brunch that doesn't just include croissants, but jam or pretzels. We'll definitely be back!

Ordered via Lieferando and the food wasn't delivered. When I called, no one answered. The restaurant is now closed, and of course, I still can't reach anyone. Never again

You get an appetizer and finish your meal, and then the cutlery isn't changed. The restaurant is generally too loud. It takes forever for the food to be served. The food is tasty, but the service is terrible.

It was very crowded; we had to stand outside for over half an hour, even though we had a reservation. We had to ask several times if someone could take our order. We were told they were out of pancakes, and 20 minutes later—lo and behold—pancakes were being served to other guests. Apparently, the kitchen gave us incorrect information. Some of our dishes weren't served quite right. We received our drinks late, and only after we'd already started eating.

Apparently, it was too busy on a Sunday. Even with a reservation, we still stood outside for 15 minutes waiting for a table. We ordered drinks first and didn't get them for an hour! And that was after asking the waiter several times. The food also arrived in 45 minutes. It was busy, so loud that you could hardly hear your neighbors talking. With good organization, it'll be pretty good there; so far, it's been chaos.

Best Asian restaurant in Munich! Not expensive for such good quality.

We sat outside for the lunch menu. The wontons were basically just fried with very little filling; what they were wasn't even listed on the menu. The tofu dish with glass noodles and the vegetarian sushi were tasty but nothing special. Unfortunately, the seating outside is incredibly low and the decor is a bit carelessly done, but inside, on the other hand, it's very nice. The service was quite nice.

We were there for brunch on Sunday. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. My expectation of a Sunday brunch is a cozy get-together with friends, delicious food, and drinks. We had a reservation and were all there on time for our 9:30 a.m. reservation. A friend arrived 10 minutes early and was allowed to sit down right away, but was immediately informed that the table was only available for us for one hour. Neither the reservation process nor the confirmation stated a time limit. To be honest: a first disappointment and no longer conducive to coziness. In the first few minutes, we were asked several times if we could order now, which we did very promptly. The food and drinks arrived immediately (max. 5 minutes) later. The food arrived very promptly for everyone, and we were asked if everything was okay. The missing croissant would be delivered quickly. In fact, we were able to stay longer than originally stated (about 1.5 hours). BUT: It didn't feel cozy. It was extremely loud, and the desire (request from the waiter) for more drinks was lost due to the circumstances. After X amount of time, the waitress came over and asked if we could finally pay... Sure, but we probably won't be able to make it to brunch... If it were a business lunch, I would have loved the timing and the quick service... But since it was supposed to be a relaxing Sunday morning with friends, the theme was completely missed. Regarding the food: visually excellent. Unfortunately, the taste was just OK and nothing special.

Despite making a reservation, we were only allowed to stay for one hour (!) for breakfast/brunch. The food was okay, but they should reconsider whether they're really winning customers with marketing campaigns like these, where you're quickly "rushed through."

Upon entering the restaurant, we received a less than friendly welcome. Instead of a greeting, we were immediately told: "You only have one hour." – information that hadn't been communicated in advance. I pointed this out, but the waitress didn't respond and couldn't offer a comprehensible reason for the restriction. Other guests were also visibly irritated by this sudden rule, and some left the café as a result. Shortly after sitting down, we were repeatedly pressured to order. It gave the impression that they wanted to serve us as quickly as possible so that we could be gone within the agreed-upon time. As for the meal itself: The flat croissant with pistachio cream was a disappointment. It was simply a regular butter croissant, flattened and not particularly crispy. The "pistachio cream" consisted of a thin syrup drizzled over the top – no filling, no particular flavor, rather dry and like it had been left yesterday. The pricing was particularly incomprehensible: While a regular pistachio croissant (also without pistachio cream filling) costs €4.90, the flat croissant was charged €13.90 – simply because there were two croissants. There was no real added value or difference, other than the significantly higher price. Had you ordered two individual croissants, it would have been significantly cheaper – with the same product. Finally, regarding payment: We visited the café during a breakfast promotion with a 50% discount on food. However, when checking out, the amounts were arbitrarily rounded up. When I pointed this out to the waitress, she promised to correct it at the end. Instead, she rounded up again for the next items – in the end, nothing was adjusted. Even if it's only a few cents, I find it outrageous to simply charge more than stated and not correct it upon request.

Went there for brunch and the food was good but the service was terrible - we waited for half an hour to get seated despite our reservation. Everyone’s food was served at different times, drinks came after we finished eating. Had to ask 3 times for cutlery, drinks and the check. 50% off brunch offer is for food only and drinks are pretty pricey. Even though the food was nice I really wouldn’t recommend it due to its poor service and relatively high prices.

A sobering experience! We were actually looking forward to a great brunch. We made a reservation and sat down at a table. It was absolutely packed, with people queuing up. We prefer sweet things for breakfast, so we opted for the two pancake options. We also had a smoothie and a pistachio cream cold latte. As soon as we ordered, we were told that the drinks on the menu—all coffee, tea, juices, and smoothies—would take an incredibly long time. So we ordered water instead. In the end, our pancakes were the same, except for the accompanying fruit. A stack of about five pancakes with a sickly sweet, chewy pistachio sauce already on top. The whole thing was served with half a strawberry, two wafer-thin slices of melon, a piece of dragon fruit, and a small dollop of cream. Everything was pretty mediocre in taste. The cold latte and smoothie came before the water. The pistachio cream cold latte was served in a dessert glass. The pistachio cream had obviously stuck to the glass due to the cold coffee and, despite stirring, imparted no flavor to the coffee. The smoothie was also pretty bland. So, all in all, very disappointing. In retrospect, I was really annoyed that I left the house on a Sunday morning just for this. I gave it one more star because this rating is my subjective experience with only the brunch and only the desserts from brunch.

We were there for breakfast. The staff were completely overwhelmed. We only received drinks and cutlery after repeatedly asking. The food we ordered was brought to us twice. There were complaints at every table around us, either something was missing or the wrong food/drink was served. The highlight: I wanted to tell the waitress I wanted to pay, and her first and only question was whether we'd received everything we ordered. That pretty much says it all about the service there.

"Brunch" with a slice of Lidl black bread (at least the avocado was fresh), an unseasoned poached egg, and a "truffle" that tasted of nothing. Service was incredibly poor, the wait time was almost an hour, and all in all, they could have done without the Instagram ad. Sorry, rip-off.
