We wanted to thank you again for the incredibly delicious food. The food was very tasty. There was a lot to choose from and was praised by each of our guests. All wishes were taken into account and the service was always nice and professional despite stressful situations. In Giessen it is actually the best choice. Saray Ocakbasi is highly recommended ❤️❤️❤️

I've been here many times and mostly eaten beyti, which was always very, very good, but today it didn't taste good at all, it tasted more like it had been warmed up and the rice was cold, and the salad wasn't good either. I'd love to come to Saray, it's a great shop but unfortunately not today.

We absolutely loved this restaurant. Right from the start we were treated to a free starter, freshly baked flatbread and two types of delicious dips - a real treat! Next we ordered two salads, which would have been completely sufficient as a main course on their own. Unfortunately, such generous portions are rarely found in the catering industry these days. The chicken on my salad was particularly impressive - tender, juicy and not at all dry, as is often the case in many other restaurants. As soon as the flatbread was eaten, there was more on the table. The service was exceptionally attentive and courteous, a quality that is unfortunately becoming increasingly rare these days. We couldn't quite finish our main course even with the two of us, so they kindly packed up the leftovers for us. We'll definitely be back! Everything is just right here: price-performance and service. A true gem among the catering establishments - and definitely not your average "kebab stand"!!!.

Astronomical prices but still the worst quality. Lahmacun? I prefer thin bread with tomato sauce. You should do more about low quality because it's really unbearable. There is hardly a shop far and wide in Giessen that doesn't smell like money laundering.

This is not only annoying, but also misleading. What was even more problematic was that there was no price list to be found either inside or outside. Transparent price information is essential for customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, the kebab itself wasn't great either. The vegetables were pre-cut and already mixed, which negatively affected the freshness and taste. Overall, the kebab didn't live up to the expectations I have of a good Turkish restaurant. All in all, there is a lot of room for improvement in this restaurant, especially when it comes to friendliness, volume and price transparency. The kebab could also be significantly improved through fresher preparation.

The pide were very tasty and the view from the terrace was very nice, especially at sunset.

The breakfast buffet is simply a dream, the food is beyond words and the terrace with its view is indescribable.

Such disrespect for customers is absolutely unacceptable. Initially the problem manifested itself in the complete absence of the food served, followed by a blatant attitude on the part of the serving staff, who took it upon themselves to mock the guests. The question arises as to how it is possible for the management to display such incompetence in dealing with the clientele. It should not be ignored that these same customers represent the financial basis of the store. It would be advisable to provide serving staff with comprehensive training to make their behavior more customer-friendly and service-oriented. The lack of delivery of the food and the lack of acknowledgment of the misconduct, which was instead replaced by inappropriate behavior on the part of the serving staff, is particularly regrettable.

First we were forgotten and our order was taken very late. After about an hour our food still wasn't there. When we asked, we were told that our food would come soon. After further waiting with no prospect of our food, we wanted to leave, whereupon we were told that our food was coming now. At that point we didn't want to eat any more and we were told that otherwise they would throw the food away. We said that they shouldn't throw it away but rather donate it to the homeless, who said we should pay for the food and then donate it ourselves! So I'll never eat here again! The first and last time!

By far the tastiest Turkish restaurant in Giessen

We went to this restaurant for Iftar meal. Because of this, the store was packed, which led to some delays in food delivery. But you could bridge it well with the tasty starters. We each ordered a Beyti Kebap, which tasted juicy and slightly hearty. The rice that came with it was also well prepared.

Tolles Buffet mit riesiger Auswahl. Leckere Speisen und Köstlichkeiten aus der türkischen Küche, süß und deftig. Wir waren an einem Sonntag hier mit einer Gruppe von 10 Personen. Die Betreiber sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Der Service ist super. Reservierung bei größeren Gruppen ist wichtig. Ab 11:30 Uhr gibt es kaum noch freie Plätze. Für Kaffeetrinker: Hier gibt es nur Tee und Instantkaffee. Also vorher darauf einstellen. Einziger negativer Punkt: Aus dem Raucherbereich zieht der Rauch irgendwann stark rein. Vielleicht auch nur im Winter. Aber das ist für Nichtraucher nicht so schön.

Sehr gutes, authentisches türkisches Restaurant 👌🏻 Wir kamen spontan an einem Samstag Abend und haben gleich einen Tisch bekommen, wenn auch das Lokal sehr gut besucht war. Der Service war super freundlich, zuvorkommend und wirklich schnell. Es dauerte nicht lang, da stand die Vorspeise, ein gemischter Vorspeisenteller mit leckeren frisch gebackenem Brot bereits auf unserem Tisch. Die Portion war richtig ordentlich und reichte locker für 2 Personen. Danach gab es Pide mit Dönerfleisch - das mit Abstand beste Pide, das ich je gegessen habe 😍 - und eine Grillplatte für 2 Personen. Die Grillplatte war nicht nur sehr schön angerichtet, sondern auch wieder eine ordentlich große Portion mit viel Fleisch. Ganz ehrlich hätte das Essen auch für 3 Personen gereicht 😄 aber es war so lecker, dass wir es zu zweit aufgegessen haben 😂 Nur schade, dass dann kein Platz mehr für eine Nachspeise mehr war! Aber dann eben beim nächsten Mal.. 😊

Das Essen war ausgesprochen lecker und schön angerichtet. Außerdem für Familien mit kleinen Kindern super, da es einen eigenen Kinderbereich mit Trampolin und Bällebad gibt, der dazu noch kameraüberwacht ist. Die Bilder werden bequemerweise direkt auf einen Fernseher übertragen, der im Gastraum hängt, sodass die Eltern in Ruhe speisen und dennoch einen Blick auf die Kinder haben können :)

Sehr sehr nettes kleines Restaurant mit super freundlicher Bedienung. Das Essen war absolut Super ! Alles ganz frisch und toll zubereitet und schön angerichtet. Es gab alles was die türkische Küche zu bieten hat. Die Fotos sprechen eine klare Sorache. Warme Speisen gibt es auch, sind leider nicht auf den Fotos. Man fühlte sich sogar ein wenig wie in der Türkei im Urlaub. Ich habe mich mit meiner Familie pudelwohl gefühlt. Ausreichend Parkplätze gibt es auch hinten im Hof und das ist ja auch nicht selbstverständlich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall öfters hier her.

Richtig leckeres Frühstücksbuffet.

Ich mein bruder und Papa waren heute geschäftlich in der nähe wir haben im internet gesucht und dieses Restaurant wegen der Bewertung ausgesucht. Alles super lecker sehr warm Mitarbeiter sehr nett wenn wir in der nähe sind kommen wir wieder für dieses Essen Preise top.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Portionen waren gut und die Bedienung war sehr nett. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen. Da es nicht in der Innenstadt ist, ist es auch sehr gute mit dem Auto zu erreichen.

Karisik izgara tabagi ve kuzu pirzola denedim. Toplamda 2defa ziyarette bulundum. Kuzu eti, kanat ve kuzu pirzolada gayet basarililar cok begendim. Fakat kebap ve pilav konusunda ayni seyi soyleyemem. Ozellikle pilav cok kotuydu umarim iyileştirme yaparlar.

Das Essen ist sehr gut. Wenn das Wetter passt kann man auf der überdachten Terrasse sitzen mit Blick auf die Burg Gleiberg und die Burg Vetzberg. Es Genuß für Gaumen und Augen 😊

Bei unseren ersten Besuch war ich begeistert. Frisch, lecker und mit Liebe zubereitet. Sehr nettes und gastfreundliches Personal, sowie ein sehr schönes Ambiente. Dieses Lokal kann ich mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Preis Leistung unschlagbar für die Portiongröße, die man bekommt. Die negativen Rezensionen kann ich allerdings gar nicht nachvollziehen. Kurze Wartezeiten und eine vielfältige Auswahl. Das nächste Mal gehe ich wieder dorthin. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Service war super, sehr aufmerksam. Essen für Fleischliebhaber super, ebenso das frisch gebackene Fladenbrot als Vorspeise. Der vegetarische Dürüm war ziemlich langweilig, aber in Ordnung.

Das Essen hier ist super lecker und sehr frisch. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier einfach! Man erhält sehr gute Portionen. Die Bedienung ist sehr nett und bringt viel Geduld mit, auch für Familien mit kleinen Kindern. Wir haben hier bereits oft zum Mitnehmen bestellt und auch vor Ort schon gegessen. Das Brunch Buffet ist ebenfalls zu empfehlen.
