A complete disappointment! The staff are extremely unfriendly and seem totally bored. One was even standing there chewing gum, as if he didn't care about his job at all. Such behavior is simply disrespectful to customers. I will definitely never come back – this is not what service should be like!

I'm from Giessen, and I'll bet anything that most of the reviews are fake. They never have 4.8 stars. The doner meat is full of gristle and bone fragments. Absolutely the worst possible. I had to get some from there yesterday and bitterly regretted it. Absolutely inedible. The time before last, our entire group had diarrhea. I'll never get food from there again. I'd rather stay hungry than constantly think about what I'm eating.

We were allowed to choose the meat, and since we were a large group, we adjusted the grill platter slightly to ensure everyone found something they liked. The side dishes were also impressive: the salad was fresh and crisp, the hummus creamy and flavorful, and the yogurt sauce and spicy sauce complemented it perfectly. Meat only in one place, otherwise just bitten into cabbage. Sauce and meat were average, but overall not a good kebab. Shop was busy though, so seems popular.

The atmosphere is a bit older. The kebab tastes good and the prices are fair.

The kebab was just disgusting. I've been feeling sick for 2 days and I regret even eating there. The store is complete rubbish and hygiene seems to be a foreign word here. Save yourself the trouble and go to the other store down the street - at least you can get something to eat there!

Ein echter Geheimtipp unter den türkischen Restaurants und Dönerläden in Gießen! Die Auswahl der Fleischsorten reicht von zwei unterschiedlichen Kalbsfleischspießen für den Döner etc. über Spieße mit sehr lecker gewürztem Hähnchenfleisch, Hackfleisch etc., welche bei Bestellung über einen Holzkohlegrill zubereitet werden. Auch der Salat sowie Tomaten und das restliche Gemüse werden stets frisch zubereitet. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hier her!

Genel olarak memnun kaldım. En azından sac tavası güzeldi. Fakat dürümün sosu bence yetersizdi. Biraz kuru buldum. Ortam çok iyi değil, küçük ve masalar birbirine çok yakın.

Das Mega Tandure ist in Ordnung und bietet solide Speisen. Mein persönlicher Favorit ist die hausgemachte Linsensuppe. Sie ist reichhaltig und voller Geschmack. Die anderen Gerichte auf der Speisekarte sind ebenfalls solide, aber nichts Außergewöhnliches. Das Ambiente im Restaurant ist einfach und gemütlich. Der Service ist freundlich, aber manchmal etwas langsam. Insgesamt ist das Mega Tandure eine gute Option, wenn man nach einer soliden Mahlzeit sucht und die Linsensuppe ist definitiv einen Besuch wert.

Die Bude ist schon etwas abgerockt und wirkt etwas schmuddelig. Das soll aber nicht darüber hinwegtäuschen, dass es hier einen der besten Döner im Dönerdreieck gibt. Alles frisch, Brot absolut top, bissi scharf ist bissi scharf. Es gibt Läden, wo man gemütlicher sitzt, aber: Hey, komm...

Beim Döner wird das Brot selber hergestellt, allerdings zerbröselt dieses sehr leicht, daher esse ich meinen Döner in der Nachbarschaft. Ambiente ist nicht wirklich einladend und die Sanitäranlagen müssten mal grundauf saniert werden. Viel Personal, die bisweilen kaum deutsch sprechen. Aber auf jeden Fall mal probieren!

Rustikale Döner-Bude von außen, aber es versteckt sich hier wahrer Schatz. Auch wenn die Bedienung nicht überfreundlich ist: alle Speisen sind sehr gut! Der Döner super (das Brot macht den Unterschied). Die Suppen top! Selbst die Pizzen sind besser als in manh Pizzeria!

Preis-Leistung ist unschlagbar, bester Türke in Gießen. Riesige Portionen, Grillteller mit Reis, Bulgur, Salat, Lavas Brot. Als Vorspeise aufs Haus gibts dazu frisches Fladenbrot mit Joghurtdip und Ezme. Adana Kebap ist der beste den ich je gegessen hab (ich war schon in Adana). Döner ist okay, gibt bessere.

Place doesn’t seem much at first sight. However courses were very tasteful! Suggested for something casual and fast.

Wir gehen nunmehr schon seit über 8 Jahren dahin. Meine Jungs und ich ziehen sich dann entweder einen Döner oder Donnerteller sein, oftmals auch ein Sis Dürum (5€ = echtes Fleisch im gerollten Fladenbrot) oder Adana (ähnlich nur als Hack!). Dazu klassisch einen Ayran und willkommen in Giessen. Und ach ja, die "unfreundlichen" Bedienungen vom Vorkommentar sind Menschen die bis zu 6 Mal in der Woche Vollgas geben, um uns dieses Essen zu servieren! Das 🍞 ist zu 85% immer frisch aus dem Offen! Wer hat so ne quote? Und die Fleischtheke ist immer frisch und das Essen kommt direkt aus dem Steinoffen! Und der Preis ist lächerlich 😂

Da ich um die Ecke wohne, bin ich häufiger hier. Bei Mega Tandur gibt es sehr guten Döner mit frisch aufgebackenem Brot, Pizza die besser schmeckt als bei vielen Italienern, sehr leckere Linsensuppe und auch die gegrillten Gerichte sind super. Man wird immer freundlich begrüßt und auch Extra-Wünsche sind kein Problem.
