Sappralott in München

A great place with very cosy atmosphere. We came here in a group of three people and one dog and had a pleasant time. A big selection to choose from and exceptional service. Since I am a vegetarian, I had spinach dumplings with brown butter on rocket and Parmesan, which was recommended by a very nice waiter and it did not disappoint. :) My companions were also very happy with their choices (also recommended by the waiter). 5 stars well-deserved, stop by and see for yourself!

Very nice restaurant, rustic Bavarian decor, good beer (Augustiner), friendly and fast service, large portions, fair prices... the Munich schnitzel is highly recommended. Keep it up... I'll give it the fifth star when the next meal is just as good ;-) Unfortunately, I have to change my review. When they suddenly try to charge me for 9 beers instead of 6 at the bar, something's definitely wrong. Is the place going under, or what's going on?

Good food, always the same quality, I like going there

A traditional Bavarian inn with mostly attentive service, though the staff can occasionally be a bit gruff. The food is unfortunately only mediocre, but it's always good for a quick beer.

Beware of gluten! The menu had lots gluten free dishes but it was the case in reality. My wife with celiac disease could not eat almost anything and what she could was bad.

Quaint, typical, honest. The food might not be haute cuisine, but it doesn't need to be. What's much more important is the Augustiner beer, freshly tapped from the wooden barrel! :-)

The second word in "Pommes frites" is written in lowercase. This is incorrect on the menu.

I've known Sappralott for a long time, but this was my first time ordering delivery. I'm thrilled! Other restaurants could learn a thing or two from the freshness and quality of the food. They truly prioritize customer service here. The portions were also very generous and tasted fantastic! We'll definitely order again!

The quality has declined. The service is super friendly. Our food was okay, but nothing more. For almost €23, the taste and appearance have to be just right.

I ordered in Wolt , in my food there was 3hair, i don’t understand why the workers in the kitchen don’t use a hat… it was disgusting.

The food is great, we sometimes had to wait a bit for a new round of drinks but overall it was very relaxed!

I've known the place since the late 80s and, consequently, also seen the changes over time. Currently, it "lives" on the charm of its past – at second glance, it's perhaps seeking a new identity (without letting go of its old one). I spent many pleasant hours and (long) evenings there, and it almost had a familial feel... that's gone (and not surprising). Still, I'd like to see some of the "old Munich beer hall" back – and less of a mainstream following. Those who are perhaps just discovering it now might see it differently. No offense.

A very good restaurant. The staff is exceptionally hospitable and scores highly with excellent service. The food is exquisite and served promptly, even when the restaurant is packed. The delicious Augustiner beer rounds off the stay and makes the whole experience a truly enjoyable one. We'll be back and will happily recommend the inn.

While walking with my friend, we came across this place by chance and decided to sit down. It has a friendly, calm atmosphere that makes you feel good. I looked at the menu and ordered the Sappralott Pfander’L and a Helles Bier. My food and drink were served very quickly. I’ve been exploring Munich for two days now, and this has been the most enjoyable meal I’ve had so far. The portion was large, including a salad, the meat was perfectly cooked and delicious, and the price was very reasonable. I wish we had discovered this place earlier. I’ll definitely come back here on my next visit to Munich. Thank you again 😄

Perfect for watching a Bayern Munich or 60th Anniversary game with friends, acquaintances, or even strangers! The food and service are good.

I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. After my first visit, I didn't want to stop there. Today, I was served excellent food again. Since it wasn't as busy as the first time, the waiter had more time and gave me excellent advice. Certainly not my last visit, even though I rarely come to this area.

A Bavarian tavern in its most classic form, it brews and not just Augustiner beer

Excellent restaurant and great service! We took a müncher schnitzel and we asked to change the potatoes for käse spätzle. Also, we took a schweinefilet auf Spätzle. Both dishes were excellent and they were with salad included! I would really recommend it.

Went there today. Great turkey schnitzel with fries and salad. Veal schnitzel with fried potatoes and cranberries, perfect. Very friendly staff. Great prices. We'll be back next time we're in Munich.

Delicious food, delicious beer.....from time to time the service is a bit lacking

Racism here! Asian guests are completely ignored here. We weren't offered a seat and had to stand in the rain for over 20 minutes, while white guests who arrived after us were immediately served and able to order. This behavior was clearly discriminatory and suggests racist tendencies. Very disappointing and absolutely unacceptable. Racism here

Unfortunately restaurant was quite busy, the waiters were able to take other people‘s order, even with the people who came later than us got food at the end. We are international(non-white) and have had waited for more than 30mins even never got the menu card. Ridiculous service I am very sorry. Of course we tried to catch their attention but was not possible.

Customers are insulted. People are thrown out for no reason due to lack of space. Never experienced anything like this before.

The service is very good. Unfortunately, the food isn't worth a visit. The fried potatoes taste like they were pre-cooked and from a vacuum-sealed bag, and they look just as pale. At least they were fried... The cordon bleu was just okay; the cheese in it was worse than the cheapest gravy.

I've been a guest since the early 90s. Under Claudia, everything was great. I know the place through my father, who always repaired the kitchen when the place was flooded. Today I thought, great, I haven't been to Sappralott in ages, go there. A Helles Augustiner on tap arrived immediately and was also very tasty. I ordered a Munich schnitzel. It arrived quickly, after 10 minutes. But the schnitzel was swimming in medium-hot mustard, and the breadcrumbs clung carelessly to the approximately 3mm-thick, flaxen pork schnitzel. No horseradish, just medium-hot mustard, which made me sweat. The fried potatoes were pale and tasted like farm-raised potatoes. The mixed salad that came with it was overflowing with industrial dressing and corn. What's Bavarian about corn? You can get better and tastier salad at the discount store. Too bad. I looked online to find out who the tenant is. And yes, what a pity, it's Fritz Kustatscher. Keep everything cheap and make a lot of profit. The waitresses were very good, friendly, and I was served quickly. But a tip: don't let your displeasure be heard when guests are there. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this inn. Goodbye

Typical Bavarian food with a very good atmosphere. Correct attention and prices according to the size of the portions. I especially recommend the spaetzle with pork, bacon and mushroom sauce. I think it is the best dish on the menu. The schnitzel was large, with very tasty fries, but I didn't think it stood out.

Because of “oven-fresh” roast pork. Had old meat delivered to me. Disgusting - ashamed to serve your customers something like that in these times.

Basically good food at reasonable prices, but the waiter on our evening should choose another profession. Smiled every now and then, but mostly without reactions or simply no friendliness to be felt. Very negative reaction when there were some problems with the kitchen (e.g. 3 main courses at different times and starters before one, the main course came before the starter was eaten, the main course was then cold, etc.). Really badly treated unfortunately.

Food was actually quite good. But it left several people feeling quite upset afterwards. Service wasn't good. Food delivered incorrectly, no apology, no comment. Funny guy.

Good food, great service, pleasant mix of pub and tavern, nice restaurant from the Wilhelminian era.

I like to go and watch football with friends and usually eat a burger. The burger today had an unseasoned pattie, steamed in the pan without any roasted aroma, the roast pork I was accompanying was so tough that you couldn't cut it. Unless that was an exception, I'll let that go back, which I'm sorry about because it's a really nice economy.

Sappralott is now one of my favorite restaurants in Munich. The food was very tasty, salad was fresh and meat was very juicy and tasty. Would love to visit again

A local pub that focuses on sales. The reservation for the next room was canceled in favor of a larger group for us and so we had to sit among the other guests at what was actually an internal celebration and scream quite a bit in order to be understood because of the noise level. Roast pork was dry and served with massively thickened sauce, the trimmed schnitzel meat was the thickness of a slice of cooked ham and was correspondingly dry and tough. Yes, the beer was the only one worthy of praise, Augustiner. So we don't go there anymore. Price/performance is really not appropriate for the quality of the food.
