Sappralott in München

A local pub that focuses on sales. The reservation for the next room was canceled in favor of a larger group for us and so we had to sit among the other guests at what was actually an internal celebration and scream quite a bit in order to be understood because of the noise level. Roast pork was dry and served with massively thickened sauce, the trimmed schnitzel meat was the thickness of a slice of cooked ham and was correspondingly dry and tough. Yes, the beer was the only one worthy of praise, Augustiner. So we don't go there anymore. Price/performance is really not appropriate for the quality of the food.

Good food, nice service, fair prices. Complaining at a high level: a little more privacy/quieter surroundings would be nice. The second visit was also nice again 😊

I appreciate this place even more after going to other restaurants in Munich. Food tastes incredible and reasonably priced. Staff is friendly and helpful. I went to other local restaurants after with good reviews but the experience is disappointing. But this place is worth going back. I wish more restaurants are like this in Munich so I don’t feel disappointed about this city.

Very nice restaurant, nice people. The problem is that Bavarian cuisine is traditional and not very experimental. One vegan dish and two vegetarian dishes are just not very friendly to non-meat eaters. Luckily the beer is vegan and therefore probably the second vegan dish as a staple food.

Typical Bavarian cuisine. Reasonable price-performance ratio with decent portions. Always full, so reservations are sensible and necessary. Due to the relatively small rooms, it's a bit noisy when it's full.

When I'm in Munich I always like to go to Sappi. Food, service everything perfect!!

The giant schnitzel is no bigger than a normal schnitzel, just like the cordon bleu, unfortunately completely tasteless. The fried potatoes were already past their prime, dried out and had probably been kept warm somewhere for a long time. It's a shame about the wasted raw materials.

The waiter has been too rude since we arrived. We were a large group so I can understand his frustration but his behavior was too much, he even refused us to order another dish because we had already ordered too many. I'm not usually very strict, but honestly I want to come back because of this waiter

First I'm knocked over by the waitress, then I stand somewhere else and get told off that I shouldn't be in the way. I then asked if I could be served because I wanted to eat something. The boss then physically aggressively pushed me out of the store with the words “Sneak away.” However, it was a miracle that I was allowed in at all because the drunken smokers were blocking the door frame despite the dryness.

Was a cool evening. The light blonde waitress outside was super nice and helpful. The food was good and it was very cozy. Only recommended!

Today I ordered a home delivery, and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. The Gulash was overly salted. It seemed like the chef had accidentally spilled the entire salt shaker into the pot. Even after trying to salvage the meal by adding water, the saltiness was overwhelming and the dish was inedible. The other dishes I ordered were not much better. The meat was tough and also suffered from excessive salt, ruining the overall flavor. It’s clear that attention to detail and quality control were lacking in the kitchen. I was really looking forward to enjoying a nice meal at home, but this order was a huge disappointment. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and improves the quality of their dishes. At this point, I cannot recommend Sappralot based on this experience.

I was there last year and everything was great. Today the big disappointment. The onions in the cheese spaetzle were still raw, i.e. not steamed. I returned it. The second attempt was nothing either. Pasta floated in liquid cheese and hardly any salt. I paid and didn't eat anything. Don't come back. Service was nice. The outside area wasn't appealing either

A nice, modern restaurant. It appears to be under young, ambitious leadership. The outdoor terrace was expanded earlier, but unfortunately the pavilion looks more like construction site scaffolding. The food was delicious, especially the modern dishes and very filling. You will definitely be full. The prices are reasonable. But above all, the service stood out. There was a relaxed, happy atmosphere. Our waiter was not at a loss for a quick but always respectful comment. It was a successful end to the day.

I was at Sappralot a few years ago and back then the food was always good and the staff was very friendly. This time it was exactly the opposite. It's a complete impudence how this dark-haired female waitress did her job. Disrespectful treatment of an older lady and snappy answers and beyond that she didn't care whether people wanted to enjoy her visit or not. She pushed the chairs and tables around like they were bulky waste! Impudence! Quit now!

Unfortunately only two stars. It always hurts me but of course honesty is also important to me. Unfortunately the burger was really bad, the meat was gray and inedible. The ham pasta was okay so I don't think you can go wrong. What I found worst was the salad. I'm really not a fan of iceberg lettuce - that just doesn't speak for quality for me and when I hear that the lettuce isn't even freshly cut myself but is delivered in bags, I'm definitely out. 🙈 very unfortunate. I think the location itself definitely has its charm and the employees were really nice too. You can still screw up the quality of the food.

Well, I haven't been there for a while now. The xxl turkey schnitzel is now the size of the palm of your hand, so you're wondering how big a normal 2 bite is? Unfortunately, it has decreased significantly. It still tasted good! I just ordered meat patties again. The portion was big :)

It was our first time in Munich and this was the only restaurant that offered large portions at a really good price. Keep that in mind, absolutely not a tourist trap and highly recommended!

The beer in the Sapparalott is a dream. The best beer culture of all the Augustiner inns I know in Munich. And I have already visited many. The service and the cuisine can also only be recommended. I always look forward to the Sapparalott when I come to Munich.

Very cozy Augustinian restaurant. Not only is the service very nice and accommodating, the food is fantastic, and it's great that we can also watch our football game. The outside area is very nice. A big highlight is the Sappralot Srraßenfest at the end of July. The sentence applies there. You come as a stranger, but you leave as a friend. Must see. Thank you wolfgang

My wife and I were at the restaurant on Sunday around 11am. We were ignored for about 25 minutes. For this reason we left the restaurant again. One star is too many for this service.

I just ordered Munich Schnitzel, Cordon Bleu, extra fried potatoes and a Kaiserschmarrn for €63. I have to say, a disgrace for the money. The Münchner Schnitzel was still ok, the Cordon Bleu was bland, the fried potatoes were partly burnt, partly not cooked through and the Kaiserschmarrn didn't deserve the name. This is sooo miles away from what I know as Kaiserschmarrn and, above all, it tastes like an unclean pan and old, rancid oil. Totally disgusting, and for €16.90... Really a waste of money.

A really cozy and inviting location in beautiful M-Neuhausen. And the service staff is without exception guest-oriented, i.e. nice, polite and communicative. Oh, if only they could be cloned for other catering establishments. I only consumed drinks with a friend, but the food that was passed by us was impressive. And the guests seem to have enjoyed it in every respect - evident from their satisfied faces. So if you're looking for a typical Munich-style bar, you'll find it here. My thumbs: are stretched out.

I'm a regular customer. The blonde waitress has recently started throwing people out at random. There were 10 of us at an unreserved table. Apparently only six people are allowed there. That's why 2 should go🤣😂 Goodbye, sales. First place to throw people out because it's too much work for them. What's more, her young colleague served, and did so flawlessly. And suddenly this blonde NPC spawns and acts as a local police force. Very unfortunate.

If you want a typical Italian restaurant or pizzeria, this is a good choice. Oven-baked pizza worth recommending. Besides, there's only pizza here🍕🍕 Home-made red wine - not great, white wine is slightly better. On the weekend, especially if you are going with a larger group, it is necessary to make a reservation in advance. Without this, we are left with takeaway pizza.

We haven't been there for a while and found the food today to be a bit of a disappointment. The Munich schnitzel consisted of two unloving schnitzels that lacked the mustard and horseradish taste and enough fries. Unfortunately there was neither a garnish nor a lemon. The Sappralott pan consisted of streaky pork fillet with bacon and spaetzle in a rather tasteless dish. Cream sauce floated with mushrooms. A mixed salad was served with it. The ready-made dressing was ok. Our conclusion: you can eat there, but you don't have to.

Nice restaurant with great food with large portions at pleasant prices, although it has become a little more expensive, around €1 per dish, very nice waiters and waitresses. Sitting outdoors is also possible, but on the sidewalk

Tolles Wirtshaus, Portionen sind groß, Essen war sehr lecker, Bedienung war sehr freundlich und war auch zu Späßen aufgelegt. Preise sind auch in Ordnung. Die Atmosphäre hat mich total überzeugt, die Bar sieht toll aus und obwohl es sehr voll war, hat es sich nicht unangenehm angefühlt. Die nette Bedienung hatte einen tollen Überblick und alles ging sehr schnell. Vielen Dank.

Wir waren lange Zeit Stammgäste im Sappralott. Leider hat die Qualität in den letzten Monaten kontinuierlich nachgelassen. Gestern musste ich mein Schnitzel sogar komplett zurückgehen lassen. Sensorisch minderwertig und geschmacklich schlecht. Kommentar der Küche: Es sei zubereitet wie immer. Na dann brauchen wir ja auch nicht mehr kommen, wenn das der neue Standard ist. Kompensation für die antikulinarische Retoure: Fehlanzeige. Kein Schnaps auf's Haus oder ähnliches - stattdessen mussten wir den vollen Rechnungsbetrag bezahlen.
