Sappralott in München

Very nice to sit outside. The Munich schnitzel wasn't great. Other chefs can prepare it better. Service was excellent.

I've been a guest since the early 90s. Under Claudia, everything was great. I know the place through my father, who always repaired the kitchen when the place was flooded. Today I thought, great, I haven't been to Sappralott in ages, go there. A Helles Augustiner on tap arrived immediately and was also very tasty. I ordered a Munich schnitzel. It arrived quickly, after 10 minutes. But the schnitzel was swimming in medium-hot mustard, and the breadcrumbs clung carelessly to the approximately 3mm-thick, flaxen pork schnitzel. No horseradish, just medium-hot mustard, which made me sweat. The fried potatoes were pale and tasted like farm-raised potatoes. The mixed salad that came with it was overflowing with industrial dressing and corn. What's Bavarian about corn? You can get better and tastier salad at the discount store. Too bad. I looked online to find out who the tenant is. And yes, what a pity, it's Fritz Kustatscher. Keep everything cheap and make a lot of profit. The waitresses were very good, friendly, and I was served quickly. But a tip: don't let your displeasure be heard when guests are there. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this inn. Goodbye

Typical Bavarian food with a very good atmosphere. Correct attention and prices according to the size of the portions. I especially recommend the spaetzle with pork, bacon and mushroom sauce. I think it is the best dish on the menu. The schnitzel was large, with very tasty fries, but I didn't think it stood out.

Because of “oven-fresh” roast pork. Had old meat delivered to me. Disgusting - ashamed to serve your customers something like that in these times.

Basically good food at reasonable prices, but the waiter on our evening should choose another profession. Smiled every now and then, but mostly without reactions or simply no friendliness to be felt. Very negative reaction when there were some problems with the kitchen (e.g. 3 main courses at different times and starters before one, the main course came before the starter was eaten, the main course was then cold, etc.). Really badly treated unfortunately.

Food was actually quite good. But it left several people feeling quite upset afterwards. Service wasn't good. Food delivered incorrectly, no apology, no comment. Funny guy.

I like to go and watch football with friends and usually eat a burger. The burger today had an unseasoned pattie, steamed in the pan without any roasted aroma, the roast pork I was accompanying was so tough that you couldn't cut it. Unless that was an exception, I'll let that go back, which I'm sorry about because it's a really nice economy.

Sappralott is now one of my favorite restaurants in Munich. The food was very tasty, salad was fresh and meat was very juicy and tasty. Would love to visit again

A local pub that focuses on sales. The reservation for the next room was canceled in favor of a larger group for us and so we had to sit among the other guests at what was actually an internal celebration and scream quite a bit in order to be understood because of the noise level. Roast pork was dry and served with massively thickened sauce, the trimmed schnitzel meat was the thickness of a slice of cooked ham and was correspondingly dry and tough. Yes, the beer was the only one worthy of praise, Augustiner. So we don't go there anymore. Price/performance is really not appropriate for the quality of the food.

Very nice restaurant, nice people. The problem is that Bavarian cuisine is traditional and not very experimental. One vegan dish and two vegetarian dishes are just not very friendly to non-meat eaters. Luckily the beer is vegan and therefore probably the second vegan dish as a staple food.

Typical Bavarian cuisine. Reasonable price-performance ratio with decent portions. Always full, so reservations are sensible and necessary. Due to the relatively small rooms, it's a bit noisy when it's full.

The giant schnitzel is no bigger than a normal schnitzel, just like the cordon bleu, unfortunately completely tasteless. The fried potatoes were already past their prime, dried out and had probably been kept warm somewhere for a long time. It's a shame about the wasted raw materials.

The waiter has been too rude since we arrived. We were a large group so I can understand his frustration but his behavior was too much, he even refused us to order another dish because we had already ordered too many. I'm not usually very strict, but honestly I want to come back because of this waiter

First I'm knocked over by the waitress, then I stand somewhere else and get told off that I shouldn't be in the way. I then asked if I could be served because I wanted to eat something. The boss then physically aggressively pushed me out of the store with the words “Sneak away.” However, it was a miracle that I was allowed in at all because the drunken smokers were blocking the door frame despite the dryness.

Today I ordered a home delivery, and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. The Gulash was overly salted. It seemed like the chef had accidentally spilled the entire salt shaker into the pot. Even after trying to salvage the meal by adding water, the saltiness was overwhelming and the dish was inedible. The other dishes I ordered were not much better. The meat was tough and also suffered from excessive salt, ruining the overall flavor. It’s clear that attention to detail and quality control were lacking in the kitchen. I was really looking forward to enjoying a nice meal at home, but this order was a huge disappointment. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and improves the quality of their dishes. At this point, I cannot recommend Sappralot based on this experience.

I was there last year and everything was great. Today the big disappointment. The onions in the cheese spaetzle were still raw, i.e. not steamed. I returned it. The second attempt was nothing either. Pasta floated in liquid cheese and hardly any salt. I paid and didn't eat anything. Don't come back. Service was nice. The outside area wasn't appealing either

A nice, modern restaurant. It appears to be under young, ambitious leadership. The outdoor terrace was expanded earlier, but unfortunately the pavilion looks more like construction site scaffolding. The food was delicious, especially the modern dishes and very filling. You will definitely be full. The prices are reasonable. But above all, the service stood out. There was a relaxed, happy atmosphere. Our waiter was not at a loss for a quick but always respectful comment. It was a successful end to the day.

I was at Sappralot a few years ago and back then the food was always good and the staff was very friendly. This time it was exactly the opposite. It's a complete impudence how this dark-haired female waitress did her job. Disrespectful treatment of an older lady and snappy answers and beyond that she didn't care whether people wanted to enjoy her visit or not. She pushed the chairs and tables around like they were bulky waste! Impudence! Quit now!

Unfortunately only two stars. It always hurts me but of course honesty is also important to me. Unfortunately the burger was really bad, the meat was gray and inedible. The ham pasta was okay so I don't think you can go wrong. What I found worst was the salad. I'm really not a fan of iceberg lettuce - that just doesn't speak for quality for me and when I hear that the lettuce isn't even freshly cut myself but is delivered in bags, I'm definitely out. 🙈 very unfortunate. I think the location itself definitely has its charm and the employees were really nice too. You can still screw up the quality of the food.

Well, I haven't been there for a while now. The xxl turkey schnitzel is now the size of the palm of your hand, so you're wondering how big a normal 2 bite is? Unfortunately, it has decreased significantly. It still tasted good! I just ordered meat patties again. The portion was big :)

It was our first time in Munich and this was the only restaurant that offered large portions at a really good price. Keep that in mind, absolutely not a tourist trap and highly recommended!
