We were invited to Sapore yesterday and we all enjoyed everything from bruschetta to gnocchi filled with pumpkin, liver, chicken breast and sea bass fillet...the atmosphere was very cozy and the service staff was very friendly and accommodating...we will be back

Our first visit to Sapore Mediterraneo was based on a recommendation. The spaghetti with scampi was delicious. The pizza sapore was a delight, but so large that we had half wrapped up and heated it in the oven the next day. Neither the taste nor the texture suffered; it was simply delicious. On October 9, eight of us celebrated my birthday and our wedding anniversary. Everything was perfect: the friendly and helpful staff did their best to provide us with a wonderful evening. They succeeded perfectly! The food was excellent, the service unobtrusive and good, and since the restaurant wasn't full, we had a corner all to ourselves. Thank you so much for the successful celebration. We'd love to come back!

We were passing through and, instead of stopping at the fast-food giant next door, we took the opportunity to order a few pizzas to go. While they took a little longer to prepare than a couple of burgers, the pizzas were delicious—a good decision in the end.

Great restaurant with a super-friendly owner! The food was fantastic, and since I was staying at the hotel next door, he immediately returned my wallet, which I'd left there, by mail with insurance and tracking—even at his own expense. Honest and reliable, absolutely recommended! 👍😀

The food is a dream: fresh, sophisticated, and beautifully presented. Each course impresses with creativity and flavor, so you can tell that the food is cooked with passion and attention to detail. The selection of drinks is also excellently coordinated and perfectly rounds off the experience. A restaurant you won't just visit once, but will definitely want to return to again. Highly recommended – for special occasions as well as for a relaxed evening with friends or family.

We ate at the restaurant today (August 30th). The ambiance is modern and the service was super friendly. The food was delicious 😋 The portions were so large that we couldn't finish it all. My pizza was very well topped and had plenty of cheese... I highly recommend this restaurant!

We were actually just passing through and wanted to have a quick dinner, but we were very pleasantly surprised. Located in an industrial area and somewhat in the shadow of a fast-food restaurant, the restaurant seems a bit unassuming. The interior is rather modern. The food was consistently delicious and authentic. The service, which was incredibly friendly and accommodating, deserves special mention. They immediately provided a high chair and something to play with for our son. We'll probably come back on our next vacation.

The restaurant impresses across the board! The ambiance is modern and very inviting, making you feel at home immediately. The food was absolutely outstanding – fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. I would especially like to highlight the service: the waiters are extremely friendly, attentive, and ensure that you feel well looked after. The value for money is also excellent. All in all, a perfect experience – absolutely recommended!

There were five of us. The food, both starter and main course, was delicious. But it took a very long time for our food to be served. Service was friendly.

Everything was fantastic! I can recommend the truffle gnocci pasta. Everything is highly recommended, simply a dream.

The staff was 12/10, super friendly with kids and hospitality, and you feel so comfortable, like you've come home. We kept ordering new drinks/mocktails/cocktails (which, by the way, are 10/10). All in all A fantastic experience. I can definitely recommend it. If you haven't been there yet, go NOW! 😁

The restaurant is located directly off the A7 motorway at the Hotel Quickborn. From the outside, it's rather unassuming, but the service and food are absolutely first-class. We were greeted with a handwritten daily special that sounded very good. The waiter welcomed us with the menus and a separate drinks menu. Both menus are clearly structured and demonstrate that the focus is on quality, not quantity. We ordered an appetizer platter for two – it was so filling that it could have served more. The appetizers were of such excellent quality and beautifully presented. For our main course, we had tagliatelle with salmon and salmon with Dijon mustard. Both main courses were so aesthetically presented and delicious. You could tell that someone in the kitchen had put a lot of thought into the presentation of the dishes. To finish, we had panna cotta with mango sauce. Here, too, the presentation was very positive, and the flavors were perfect. The service is very friendly and customer-oriented. I didn't expect to be so pleasantly surprised, and we will definitely eat there again.

Sapore Mediterraneo – Really good Italian food in Quickborn Super cozy, modern decor, and truly delicious food – that pretty much sums up Sapore Mediterraneo. If you're craving Italian cuisine, this is the place for you. The dishes are fresh, well-seasoned, and simply delicious – no frills. The pasta was particularly excellent, and the appetizers also leave you wanting more. You can tell the love and care goes into the cooking here. The team is friendly and relaxed, and you immediately feel at home. Perfect for a pleasant evening with friends or family – we'll definitely be back.

It's important to note that the owner has apparently changed, so a few things weren't quite right today... the card reader isn't working yet, as it says in miniature on the door, but we could have come back another day to pay. The food was mostly good. Unfortunately, the pizza was too greasy and the shrimp were overcooked. The risotto, steak, and salmon were good. The dessert we had previously chosen from the online menu was no longer available, which is a shame, but it's true. The schnapps afterwards was on the house, which was very thoughtful. Overall, good, with potential for improvement.

We stopped here while passing through...and received a really friendly welcome and very attentive service. The food was very good! We felt very comfortable. If we lived closer, we would definitely come by more often. So, folks...you can get really good Italian food here...with appropriate Italian music in the background.

This restaurant is a culinary highlight and always an experience, both in terms of taste and ambiance. The service is very polite and courteous, helpful. In short, we feel very comfortable and welcomed there. For us, we know all the Mediterranean restaurants in Quickborn; this is THE restaurant; no one can compete. Sorry for the others 🙏 And anyone who gives this a star is being unfair and unjust. However, we recommend reserving a table, especially on weekends. The restaurant was half full when we entered. The staff gave us strange looks, but then it became clear that they were completely overwhelmed. After waiting 10 minutes for the menu, they told us it would take a long time to get our food, which meant we should probably leave… Then, of course, we left again.

The waiting times were endless, we waited almost an hour for the food even though there were only 5 tables occupied.

The last time we were there was on Boxing Day with 7 people and enjoyed a goose and duck legs with everyone. Unfortunately, this is no longer offered everywhere. What can I say, it was great as always. The poultry was great, sauce, vegetables, potatoes, dumplings etc. everything was great. The staff is great, the ambience is good, you fill yourself up there. We can only recommend this restaurant. The next celebration is already booked there.

Perfect, the best Italian restaurant in Quickborn and the surrounding area.

The food is good, but the service is unfortunately terrible. It takes - even though only a few tables are occupied - over a quarter of an hour until you are greeted and the menu is brought to you. The drinks menu is only available upon request. Instead of the non-alcoholic beer we ordered, it was brought with alcohol. When this is pointed out, there is no excuse or anything like that - rather, people ask whether they didn't notice it straight away! Rarely have I experienced such poor and lame service - it's a real shame!

I'm staying at the Hotel Quickborn, so dinner at Sapore Mediteraneo is a good idea. What can I say? Just great. The restaurant is elegant, the service is unobtrusive but attentive and the food is very good 😀. I would also give 6 stars 😀

Sapore is a pleasant restaurant. Dimmed but sufficient lighting, soft Italian music and excellent service (attentive without being intrusive). The food (Vitello Tonnato, family pizza Capricciosa) was very good and the open Primitivo was excellent. We'd love to come back.

Very good restaurant! The staff was attentive and friendly. The food was great from the starter to the dessert and it was beautifully decorated for Valentine's Day. We didn't wait long for food and we'll definitely be back!

The reserved table was set with beautiful rose petals and nice dishes on Valentine's Day. The food tasted very good from the starter, the main course and the dessert. The crème brulee was flambéed at the table. The service was very attentive and present, simply great. We would be happy to come back and can recommend the restaurant.

We became aware of the restaurant through the Schlemmerblock. The food was really great. It's been a long time since I've had such good Italian food. A little higher priced compared to other Italian restaurants but you can tell that high quality and fresh ingredients are used here. The service was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back to sample more of the menu.

Okay, I was actually upset about the parking situation before I entered the restaurant, but realistically this was due to a bunch of civil engineering bullies from a nationwide company who were staying in the adjacent hotel. They obviously thought that what we can do on the motorway construction site, we can do anywhere and have managed to take up to three parking spaces with a small van. But since they were there with twelve vehicles, parking in front of the restaurant was of course out of the question. But I would like to rate the Sapore Mediterraneo restaurant! There's actually only one word for it: bombastic!! No matter whether it was the ambience, service or food, EVERYTHING was at the absolute highest level! Even if we have to drive a little further to get there, we will always come back there with great pleasure!!

Just passing through this town for an electric vehicle charge and my husband noticed the larger-than-lige ice cream cone statue! We're so glad we popped in for their Italian ice cream to go! What an absolutely gorgeous place,,,, outside terrace with tables filled with relaxed guests enjoying dinner with a cocktail. You enter inside the restaurant and wow.It was gorgeous and elegant but comfy. White linens, but somehow relaxed enough to just enjoy yourself. I highly recommend the schokolade (chocolate) in the baby cup! Husband got the white chocolate ice cream in the waffle cone! Gorgeous restaurant and I would highly recommend!!! A+♥️

For a restaurant that is located next to McDonald's and on the highway, I was extremely surprised by the cuisine and the ambience. The prices are not cheap, but the quality is good. The outdoor seating in the parking lot is also charming and comfortable. Clear recommendation.

My third visit to Sapore. Another perfect performance! My mom was happy that the table was decorated for her birthday. The young lady who looked after us in a friendly and competent manner showed a perfect level of presence, always being there for us but never intrusive. The food was again beyond any doubt. Both the grilled feta and the prawn and crayfish risotto were a real treat. Given the weather, an Aperol Spritz went well with it. Thank you for a perfect dinner! We will be back.

There is free parking in front of the restaurant. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Nicely decorated, the boss serves the entire restaurant here! I think there are more staff in the kitchen. We hardly had to wait, all 7 starters and then main courses came at the same time, even if they were different! The quality was excellent, the preparation too, the wine, a Montepulciano, was also very good! We had to ask/remind several times about the water, but I thought that was normal, all in all, highly recommended, especially when the terrace opens, there is no weather outside yet!🌞

The menu has been reduced, but that's not a disadvantage as I think it's a sign of fresh ingredients (which you can taste). The selection that is available is well crafted. Keep it up! Update 05/2024: we booked catering and honestly, it was outstanding! Great selection, top quality, beautifully prepared and everything was very, very tasty! Our guests were absolutely thrilled!

A positive surprise! Very delicately seasoned dishes. As starters we ordered vitello tonnato and gratinated feta, as main courses we ordered homemade ravioli and the pizza special with white truffle cream instead of tomato sauce. Everything was very tasty, hot and served relatively quickly, despite the full house. At the end there was even a small dijestive for free. This is becoming increasingly rare these days. Overall, a highly recommended Italian.

Table was nicely prepared, after it took a while with the service, it got better and better as the evening went on and was very friendly! Attentive, flexible - really good! All 7 people received very tasty food at the same time, we were all thrilled and would love to come back. We simply should have said earlier that it was a bit drafty at the beginning because of the open door. When we complained about it, it was immediately remedied. A lovely, delicious evening! Prices reasonable!!!

Ambiance: very nice but the Christmas and New Year's Eve decorations should also be removed in the last corner in April.
