Two years later, the same picture. Great pizza, poor service. The smell of smoke coming from the smoking area was also very unpleasant. The pizza was great. However, the service could still be improved.

We chose something from the lunch menu. 2x soup, 2x main course and 2 drinks. There was a waiter and two ladies behind the counter in the restaurant. The food came exactly after 47 minutes! – Main course. I told the waiter that we didn't want to eat the soup as dessert. He wanted to put the food down and get the soup. We asked to take the food back with us. After eating the soup, we had to wait about 20 minutes for the main course. The coffee that followed was good, as was the food. Everyone deserves another chance. There were around 10-12 guests in the restaurant today. The waiter had not gained any friendliness in the last 3 weeks. You get the impression that you're being a nuisance. 2. Drinks ordered a pizza and 1x lunch with soup. This time it was quicker, with the meal taking about 15 minutes. I told the unfriendly waiter that we would like to have the drinks we ordered with our meal as we still didn't have them. Food was okay, the espresso was almost impossible to find in the cup, but there were lots of excuses for that. My cappuccino was lukewarm and the cup was cold. We didn't want any further discussions with such unfriendly people and left. We don't anymore!

Had a single night stop-over in Hamburg (Quickborn) and arrived at 21 at the hotel. Asked for a restaurant but most closed out there at that time. We got the tip for this place. Were told it looks bad from the outside but the food should be good Great pizzas, great wine, good service and a cosy atmosphere inside. This is truly a hidden gem. Bo

Four of us went there for dinner during the week. The restaurant wasn't very busy - a maximum of 5-6 tables were occupied. Our waiter seemed very unfriendly and hectic. It felt like we weren't really welcome. This feeling continued throughout our entire visit there. Furthermore, the waiter is also very inattentive - it is virtually impossible to order another drink. No asking if it tasted good and certainly no please or thank you. The food was quite good so far. Pizza and the saffron risotto were very tasty. I only found the spaghetti carbonara with cooked ham a bit unusual. I was actually looking forward to a nice pancetta. As a greeting from the kitchen, bread was served with a sour cream dip. Tasted very close to convenience. Where did that awesome garlic oil from before go?!😄

So, anyone who still likes to smell of smoke after visiting a “restaurant” in 2025 is in good hands here. Unfortunately, the actually separate smoking area steams through the entire restaurant... Tasteless vongole that is far from al dente, with several broken mussels, pitiful antipasti, and a tiramisu that is more reminiscent of cream cake. So, that was really, not good. Unfortunately, really, bad. - Regarding the restaurant's response, it should be noted: Yes, the service on site was praised, and rightly so! At that moment I thought the criticism of the food was inappropriate, but unopened or broken mussels do not belong in the food. I also assume that I know this from other Italian restaurants and that I don't need to mention in advance that I would like the pasta to be al dente. These are actually simple and self-evident things.

We were there for lunch with a larger group and didn't feel particularly welcome. The already not cheap prices (12-14 € for lunch!) seemed even higher due to the small portions. But it was quite tasty. When paying directly at the checkout, regular guests were immediately served out of turn.

Top Italian restaurant with very tasty dishes and friendly, fast service. Here the boss also cooks himself! You just feel comfortable there in a pleasant atmosphere! Unique and highly recommended restaurant that you will always enjoy coming back to!

The food is really good. When you see the building from the outside, your first concerns are that they are unjustified. Service is also good. We have been here several times and will definitely come back.

From the outside, this restaurant doesn't look like much and looks more like a backyard bar than a restaurant. I was even more surprised by the great interior design. Everything is lovingly designed and clean. The staff is very friendly and warm. The food was very tasty and the price was absolutely reasonable. You should also definitely take a look at the board with the daily specials. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and I'm very glad I went in, although I had a moment of doubt when I first saw it from the outside. Additional information: there is a separate smoking area. Toilets are clean and don't smell.

The outside area isn't exactly inviting, as it's in the middle of an industrial area, but inside there's a great atmosphere of a traditional Italian restaurant with lots of regular customers. The photo wall offers a great overview of who has already feasted and celebrated here.

A new discovery that is really worth it! Grilled salmon trout was excellent, the service was very friendly and attentive, competent in wine questions and with recommendations. Tiptop, we'd love to come back! If only we had known this address sooner...

Update: Thank you for the friendly and constructive feedback, one more thing: What I unfortunately completely forgot was the absolutely disgusting men's toilet. It's good that the visit to the place came at the end of the meal... It's a shame, but that's over for us. A lot has been written here about the inattentive service and the first two times it worked to some extent - female better than male, but acceptable. The food was also very tasty and that makes up for a lot. The last time, however, didn't work at all: it took forever until someone came and took the order. Apparently the service suddenly didn't know the menu anymore and asked three times about the wine, which I ordered by reading from the menu, which I then pointed to on the menu and which I had ordered the last few times without any problems. Neither during this nor when the drinks and later the food were brought out, was normal small talk made, were the words please or thank you used, or was anyone asked if everything was okay. It wasn't, the pretty terrible quality and taste suggested that different chefs bring very different results to the plate on different days. What shocked us most of all was that we weren't even looked at the entire time. Drinks and food were placed on the table without us even looking at them and then cleared away again. No question about dessert. To top it all off, it was completely impossible to request the invoice, no one was there or no interest, I don't know. We then went to the checkout and straight to the door. The small grappa afterwards is apparently only available as the mood takes you.

At first you think, what kind of shed is this in a warehouse in an industrial area. The restaurant is something special, somehow it fits... A mixture of warehouse, waiting room and restaurant. The food was great, you get what you would expect from an Italian restaurant. The service is good, but the waiters seemed stressed that evening... there were also a lot of guests there. Great food, special location!

I am absolutely thrilled! The dishes are authentic and of quality. The tomato soup was velvety and aromatic, the rump steak was tender and perfectly seasoned. The tiramisu was the crowning glory, airy and creamy. A must for foodies like me

A nice place in an unexpected corner of Quickborn. Good food but bad service. Specially when paying: We had to calculate our shares ourselves and were expected to pay cash. The waiter went from friendly to obnoxious very quickly and throwed us our receipts. We were charged for a dish we did not order. We will not be visiting again. :(

Tired and hungry after the car ride from home in Sweden to my old hometown of Quickborn, I was here for the first time - and certainly not the last time!! I mean, come on! We where on a jouney from Hannover to Denmark, and where looking for a place to eat not far from Autobahn. So we came across this little restaurant on Google Maps. It doesn’t look like a restaurant from the outside, quite the opposite. But i mean, the restaurant has a certain charm and image, good food and personell. Not far from the autobahn, and a perfect stop along the way for Italian food

Former warehouse adapted into a restaurant, large and full of typical Italian objects.. Italian cuisine, we had a good lunch, a good carbonara. certainly not the real carbonara, but still tasty and tasty! Good welcome, decent pizza, all in all we didn't mind.

After the positive reviews of the food, I had to go here as an Italy fan...since I also have business all the time. in IT, I was looking forward to a great authentic dinner...I liked the atmosphere...the people were super nice...but the food was far from it: when the bread came to the table and a small bowl of some kind of garlic/herb quark was served with it, I thought to myself "well, it's probably not as authentically Italian as everyone else here describes it" Vitello Tonato: a relative. sweet (!!) tuna mayo, prepared old school. Main course: Tuna steak completely fried (fried to death), but the tomato sauce with it tasted great....and the side salad with the tuna was covered with a ready-made salad dressing and mayo mush (there is vinegar and oil on the table)...yes , and this salad mayo was also slightly sweet......hm......was this mayo also the basis for the Vitello Tonnato sauce? Well guys, that was nothing and a far cry from Bella Italia.

The two of us spontaneously drove to the restaurant. Once inside we were warmly greeted and seated. We were served immediately and immediately felt at home. We quickly found something from the large selection of dishes and decided on the pasta with carbonara and salmon. Portions were large and the food was really tasty. We chose the beef carpaccio as a starter and were very impressed. For dessert there was pana cotta and let me tell you - I have never tasted such good pana cotta cream. We were more than at peace and after a really reasonable price we went home happy and full. (The quality of the images is ignored, they are only for the benefit of the courts)

I always enjoy coming to Da Calogero. The reception and service are always friendly, the food is very good. The menu is long enough that everyone has found something tasty so far, but not so long that we are fed from the freezer. Personally, I always start - boring, I know - with the fabulous Vitello Tonnato, which I have never had anywhere as good as here. Then spaghetti carbonara or rump steak Gorgonzola and the synapses rejoice... But the tortellini, pizzas and much more are also great. Everything is served by the attentive staff at the right timing with a friendly smile and accompanied by a variety of drinks. If you don't have to drive... There is plenty of parking on the property and on the street, in summer we can sit outside. The toilets are clean and at ground level, but not huge. Overall, it's no wonder that Da Calogero's reputation extends as far as Hamburg. A clear recommendation from me!

Meerdere malen geweest. Zeer goed restaurant. Met een traditionele kaart. Parkeren met de vrachtwagen gaat makkelijk op het industrieterrein. Alleen vond ik de vriendelijkheid wel meevallen. Voelde wat ongemak omdat ik chauffeur was..

Essen prima, aber was ist denn beim Service los? Unfreundlich, nicht hilfsbereit und nach der Bezahlung wurden wir vor der Tür gedrückt als wären wir alte Freunde. Absolut übergriffig. Wir kommen viele Jahre hierher, aber da müssen wir noch mal drüber nachdenken…

am Anfang geschockt über das Gebäude aber zu 100% überzeugt durch sehr netten Service und super Essen. Wird definitiv unser neuer Lieblingsitaliener.

Es sind wieder die Monate mit R und wir sind traditionell Muscheln. Diese sind hier immer wieder wunderbar. Die Bedienung ist stets freundlich und humorvoll. Wir sind bald wieder da.

Wir waren auf Empfehlung bei dem Italiener zum ersten Mal. Ambiente hat mir gut gefallen , Service war nett . Mein Essen ein Steak war sehr gut . Leider war das Essen meiner Begleitungen nicht gut. Die Scampi in Öl leider versalzen, der Knoblauch zu stark angebraten und bitter der Zander leider trocken und geschmacklich leider nicht gut . Sehr schade . Aber das Dessert war wieder sehr lecker .

Bei weitem der beste Italiener in der Umgebung. Essen immer frisch und lecker. Das Personal ist super aufmerksam und sehr zuvorkommend. Gehen hier seit Jahren essen und sind immer extrem zufrieden. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Einfach hervorragend. Ich hatte Thunfisch Tartare und Fritto Misto. So weit im Norden hätte ich nicht erwartet, noch einmal so positiv überrascht zu werden.

Das erste Mal dort, unser neuer Montags Italiener. Ambiente hat für mich etwas zu viel Patina, man erkennt den ältesten Italiener in Quickborn 😉. Service sehr freundlich, Essen sehr gut, wir hatten einen Vorspeisenteller, Pizza, schwarze Tortellini und ein Tomahawk Steak mit Rosmarinkartoffeln und mediterranem Gemüse. Die Pizza zum Abholen war super lecker und sehr zu empfehlen. Der Pizzabäcker war sehr nett und hat die Pizza auf kurze nachfrage sofort geschnitten.

Wir waren dort zu einem Geburtstagsessen.Die bestellten Speisen kamen in angemessener Zeit an den Tisch.Die Portionen waren ok,satt wurden wir nicht.Leider gabs es an dem Tag vom Nebentisch kleine Fliegen die auch in unseren Getränken landeten.Wir waren vor ein paar Jahren schon einmal dort,und begeistert,diesmal leider nicht.Die Preise auf der Homepage stimmen mit denen im Restaurant nicht überein,INFLATION🤷Die Bedienungen hatten nur Augen für ihre Stammgäste,die auch andere Grüsse aus der Küche bekommen haben.Wenn man sich als Gast zweiter Klasse fühlt,vergeht schnell die Freude auf eine schöne Zeit in einem Restaurant🤷Somit war dies unser letzter Besuch,und wir wünschen den Betreibern alles gute für die Zukunft😊

Ristoranten ligger i et industriområde og man forbinder ikke stedet med en restaurant. Men stemningen når man kommer ind er genial. Mega hyggeligt og ok pizza. Det var meget varmt da vi var der og det gjorde at der også var meget lummert indenfor. Vi var en stor gruppe afsted og vi fik vores eget område i restauranten.

Restaurant liegt im Industriegebiet, dachten erst wir sind falsch. Außen schlicht, ein paar Bänke und Tische zum draußen essen. Du kommst rein und denkst, das ist ja eher mal ne Lagerhalle gewesen. Interessant. Der nette Kellner weißt uns den Tisch zu und wir können das gesamte Ambiente betrachten. Toller Laden. Die Deko sehr italienisch. Einiges Altbacken und unordentlich angeordnet, aber nix schlimmes, macht den Laden besonders. Tolle Möbel, bequeme Stühle. Cool ist, du könnest auch zu zehnt kommen, die Tische können einfach zusammen geschoben werden. Der Kellner kam, sehr zuvorkommend. Essen und Getränke geordert, mal schauen was kommt. Die Preise sind noch Okay. Hauptgericht zwischen 20--30€. Pizza und Pasta deutlich günstiger. Getränkepreise angemessen. Das Essen kommt nach einer halben Stunde, sehr gut. Ist aber nicht viel los, halt ein Dienstag. Fleischgericht mit Gemüse, perfekt. Scampi ähnlich, für den Preis vielleicht ein bisschen wenig, aber okay. Pizza, perfekt. Tiramisu sehr gut. Alles in allen ein tolles Essen und ein gelungener Abend. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Und zum Schluss ein Grappa. Was will man mehr. Gruß an die Küche, Kellner und Inhaber. Weiter so.

Eine Werkhalle umgestaltet zur Taverne und schon ist Italienisches Flair in Quickborn. Die Küche biete gute italienische Gerichte an, man muss nicht Antipasti + Primo + Sekundo + Desserto bestellen, um satt zu werden.

Det står at restauranten er åpen, vi hikk i 15 minutter for så å finne ut at den var stengt! For et gudsforlatt sted. Ser ikke akkurat innbydende på utsiden heller.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker! Es gibt einen abgetrennten Raucherbereich. Hier wird leider sehr häufig die Tür offen gelassen, sodass es für meine Begriffe zu sehr nach Rauch riecht im Speisebereich.

Das Essen ist leider in meinen Augen nur ok. Nichts besonderes, dafür sind die Preise eher höher. Daher Preis Leistung etwas dürftig. Zuletzt hatte ich dort ein Schnitzel. (Ja sowas bieten Sie auch an). Das war wie vermutet eine Katastrophe. 2 halbe, völlig zerkochte Kartoffeln dabei, 2 Brokkoliröschen und ein paar grüne Bohnen(6) und Karottenstückchen... Schuster, bleib bei deinen Leisten. Pizza schmeckt gut, Nudeln auch, aber wie gesagt nichts besonderes. Draußen sitzt man in einem Industrie Hinterhof. Drinnen versprüht es den selbe "Charm". Ich werde da eher nicht mehr hin gehen.

Wanneer je de buitenzijde van het restaurant bekijkt, zou je je willen omdraaien. Maar stap gerust binnen want je eet er zeer lekker.

Das Essen war furchtbar die Nudeln waren nicht durch Nudeln mit Sahne und Lachs für 14€ ist eine Frechheit das Essen hätte ich für 3 € auch machen können dafür brauch ich nicht Essen gehen das war das erste und das letzte mal dort.

Man tror ikke at det er meget særligt, det eneste man ser udefra, ligner et nedlagt værksted. Meeen det er fantastisk. Man får rigtig dejlig hjemmelavet mad i meget store portioner. Helt fantastisk.

Het restaurant ligt op een industrie-terrein en zit in een loods die totaal ongezellig oogt. Toch even doorzetten en naar binnen! Heerlijk eten, supervriendelijke bediening en een interieur waar veel te zien is. Van een voetbalshirt gesigneerd door Ronaldo tot modelauto’s van Ferrari. Door de Italiaanse mensen (koks) is meteen duidelijk hoe t eten zo lekker is gemaakt. Let op: je kunt NIET met een NL pinpas betalen (ze accepteren alleen EC en geen Maestro) dus zorg dat je genoeg cash meeneemt. Wij hadden helaas weinig cash dus konden niet meer nemen dan n pizza/lasagna/ravioli en n glas drinken. Bij afscheid werd nog n glas schnaps aangeboden (die we weigerden ivm de autorit). Leuk plekje!

Wir waren Heute Abend hier zum Essen und waren überhaupt nicht begeistert. Bei den Nudeln unseres Sohnes hat die Küche eine tote Fliege mit ausgeliefert. Diese war gut versteckt, sodass er diese erst nach einiger Zeit entdeckte. Das Essen war für ihn somit erledigt... Wir haben die Bedienung darauf angesprochen und sie wollte dem Chef Bescheid sagen. Nach kurzer Zeit kam Sie wieder mit der Aussage, dass es ihm Leid tut. Mehr kam da nicht. Ansonsten war das Essen auch eher unterdurchschnittlich, was wir auch der Bedienung sagten. Die Begründung war eigentlich einfach: „es ist heute viel los hier“.... Da hatte sie allerdings recht, es war gut die Hälfte der Tische belegt....!

Tja, wir waren an 3 Abend hier essen es waren also keine einmaligen Ausrutscher oder so, der Koch war in Urlaub, Krank oder hat einen neue Liebe währen die klassische Ausreden gewesen doch nun zu den Fakten. 1. Abend 2. Gerichte 1 Pizza und Pasta mit Grünem Spargel u. Parma Schinken Pizza Okay aber gr. Spargel im Juli ? und das auf der Tageskarte kleine Portion und vom Parma Schinken waren sehr kleine Stückchen eingearbeitet. 2.Abend 2. Gerichte Pasta m. Steinpilzen Tageskarte und Salat Nizza Steinpilze schwamm artig geschmack neutral Nizza Salat grosse Menge Eisbergsalat es fehlten grünen Bohnen, Kleine Tomaten u. Kartoffeln Sardellen Filet . Dressin Joghurt wenn überhaupt Essig und Olivenöl, man oh man, wer koch denn da? 3. Abend jeweils Pizza das kann man wohl, Dessert Erdbeeren mit Mascaponecreme kann man nicht ,Creme körnig ausgeflockt nah am umkehrpunkt. hier ergibt sich die schlussbemerkung es wird augenscheinlich nichts abgeschmeckt lebenmittel zutaten werden bis anschlage eingesetzt gedankenlos - berechnung ?

Das Essen war sehr schmackhaft und die Atmosphäre in einer Fabrikhalle originell, sehr freundliche Bedienung und angemessene Preise

Wir waren am Freitag abend hier mit Freunden zum Essen, Das Ambiente mal anders aber urig, in einer alten Lagerhalle, das Restaurant war sehr gut besucht, wir aßen Vitello Tonato, Pizza, und Spaghetti Vongole Das ganze Essen war leider völlig geschmacksneutral, scheinbar sind dem Koch wohl die Gewürze und das Salz ausgegangen, das Fleisch trocken u. mit Unmengen von Thunfischsauce zugekippt, die Pizza war zudem völlig labberig und sehr dürftig belegt. Bei beschwerden unsererseits wurde nur erwiedert, das liege an den vielen Gästen. Untermalt wurde das Ganze von dem Nicotingestank aus dem Raucherbereich, weil ständig dieTüren offenstanden, und den völlig arroganten Kellnern! So schnell kommen wir nicht wieder... Italien geht anders!!!

Wir waren bereits mehrfach hier zum Mittagessen, sowohl privat wie auch geschäftlich. Das Restaurant liegt in ein Gewerbegebiet in einer ehemaligen Werkstatt o.ä. Das Inhabergeführte Lokal hat eine täglich wechselnde Mittagskarte sowie eine Standardkarte. Vor kurzem wurde umgebaut. Man sitzt jetzt etwas vornehmer. Geblieben ist die gemütliche und etwas rummelige Atmosphäre. Es gibt viele klassischen italienische Gerichte. Der Koch und auch der Pizzabäcker verstehen ihr Handwerk sehr gut. Das schmeckt einfach wie in Italien. Die Bedienung ist aufmerksam, schnell und nett. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Wir kamen zum Mittagstisch auf der Durchreise Richting Norden & wurden sehr nett bedient & mit einem schnörkelosen, frischem Essen verwöhnt. Das Ambiente ist unspektakulär aber witzig - eine alte Werkstatt. Es hat Charme & die Mitarbeiter erst! Lecker & sympathisch, was will man mehr? Danke dafür & weiter so!
