Super delicious and authentic! We think it's the best Italian restaurant in the area! And super friendly too!

We ate here for the first time yesterday and were absolutely thrilled. We'd love to come back!

Very attentive but unobtrusive service, delicious food, pleasant atmosphere. Everything was good.

When I was a regular here, I used to spend a lot of money. I moved and, due to work, no longer had time to come (unfortunately). I was here today and can say I would spend that much money again.

The food is exquisite and the service is simply top-notch! Whenever we land in Quickborn from the Palatinate, this is our first choice for dining!

We stopped there on our way to Hamburg. We received a very warm welcome. We had pizza (see photo). Both were delicious. The service was also very nice and friendly. The price was completely reasonable. We'll definitely be back, even if it's almost an hour's drive.

Small but nice The restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside. Inside you can feel the warm Italian hospitality. The interior is more traditionally cozy and there are around 12 tables available for guests. In addition to the menu, there is a chalkboard with current specials. The service is always attentive and friendly, and special requests are taken into account. The restaurant is run with a lot of passion and you can taste it. Once someone at our table asked why you can hardly find osso buco on the menu at Italian restaurants anymore. The answer “Not enough demand, but if you would like osso buco, then we will make an appointment and I will cook osso buco for you”. Two weeks later we met for osso buco. We always come here during the week and it is well attended. It is also important to us that it is rarely noisy and that you can have a good conversation. A reservation is recommended. There is a large parking lot right next to the restaurant.

Delicious food, very nice service... top value for money

Landed here spontaneously on a Wednesday and had a very tasty dinner. The Pizza Diavola and the chili oil were super spicy. I'll definitely be back!

Auch die Knoblauch Allergie meiner Frau wurde wie immer überragend berücksichtigt. Allein dafür vielen lieben Dank. Ihr kocht überragend und das auch ohne Knoblauch. Die Atmosphäre war wie das gesamte Ambiente einfach nur super und italienisch absolut urgemütlich. Auch die offenen Weine waren hervorragend, egal ob Primitivo oder Montepulciano, einfach nur top. Wir freuen uns auf das nächste Mal bei Euch und können jedem nur empfehlen in dieses großartige original italienische Restaurant in Quickborn, vor den Toren von Hamburg, zu gehen. Es lohnt sich absolut. Ihr werdet es nicht bereuen und bitte genießt einfach die Herzlichkeit und die tolle Küche samt Ambiente.

As always, my wife's garlic allergy was also taken into account. Thank you very much for that alone. You cook amazingly, even without garlic. The atmosphere, like the entire ambience, was simply great and absolutely Italian-friendly. The open wines were also excellent, whether Primitivo or Montepulciano, just great. We look forward to seeing you next time and can only recommend everyone to go to this great original Italian restaurant in Quickborn, just outside Hamburg. It's absolutely worth it. You won't regret it and please just enjoy the warmth and the great cuisine and ambience.

My wife and I have now been to La Famiglia several times. We have to say that the food is delicious, and what perhaps stands out even more is the service, or rather, the chef. A truly friendly and extremely personable person. We highly recommend the restaurant and have nothing but good things to say about it. Truly fantastic.

We actually live a little further away, but we're happy to make the journey to eat here. The ambience and service are really very friendly and the food (especially the pizzas and tiramisu) is to die for. We’d still be happy to come over for dinner.

I know the family from the Hamburg-Rehagen times. The food there was always good and the family was good hosts. After a very long time, I was a guest in Quickborn with a friend. The food was like what I was used to from the “old” times. We also really enjoyed the hospitable atmosphere with vocal entertainment. That evening, even though the restaurant was fully booked, we had an individual steak dish prepared for us. The meat was cooked to perfection. I can fully recommend this restaurant. We very much regret that we have not been guests for such a long time. But that will change!

Ate a pasta dish from the daily menu, which was absolutely delicious and highly recommended, as was the dessert selection. The ambiance is perhaps a bit dark, but that's a matter of taste. One thing that could be improved is the smoking ban in front of the entrance when the door is open, as it draughts directly into the dining room! Otherwise, highly recommended.

We have been coming here every year for 7 years on our trip to Sylt. Pinto and Guiseppe are great and pleasant hosts and the bruschetta is simply amazing!! Normally we all don't eat tomatoes 🙈. However, if you want to visit a modern Italian restaurant that reinterprets food or serves it in a modern way and offers something tasty, you should choose another one. The portions are ok, but could also be a little more. The service has always been polite and friendly and absolutely fine.

Yesterday I visited a good friend in Quickborn and spontaneously ate there for the first time. Francesco and his lovely blonde waitress came to our table in a good mood and inspired us with the choice of food and drinks. Great taste! fresh products and on point! A very warm team! I absolutely loved my visit to this Italian restaurant. The pasta was perfectly prepared and the burrata pizza was to die for. Authentic taste with friendly service at a great price with free singing - a must for every Italy lover!

Moved from Hamburg to Quickborn a few months ago. Looking for a good Italian. Followed the Google reviews...LUCKY! Really, really great store. Great people, great food. The atmosphere is very familiar. You want something like that. Keep it up. I hope (and definitely believe) you will be around for a long time and I can recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Wir waren eigentlich immer gern im La Famiglia essen. Das letzte Mal wird auch unser letztes Mal bleiben. Wir waren als Familie Abend essen. Bestellt hatten wir eine Vorspeisenplatte für 6 Personen. Diese war max. für 4 Personen ausreichend. Darunter befand sich auch einfach zusammen gerollter Schinken und Salami. Also wenig Italienisch. In der Rechnung wurde diese mit 31,50€ aufgeführt. Als wir zu den Nudeln und Gnocci noch etwas Parmesan verlangten, stand auch dieser mit 3€ auf der Rechnung. Wenn es wenigstens qualitativ hochwertig gewesen wäre…aber auch die Pizza war einfach nur pappig und durchweicht. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier absolut nicht!

I'm here for the second time today and I have to say that in terms of quality, taste and service it's the best Italian I've ever eaten in the north. Like the name of the restaurant, you feel like you are part of the culinary family. And when the owners sing Italian songs with a pepper mill as a microphone, it's a successful end to the evening. Excellent food - we like to come there. Whether appetizers, meat or pizza. One of the few shops that make pasta really well. We just find the ambience to be mediocre, hence a star deduction. You sit relatively tight.

Full marks! Everything we have eaten here so far has been fresh and great! The service is super attentive and helpful with any questions. Really great! We are now regular customers! ;-)

La Famiglia ist ein sehr nettes, kleineres Restaurant. Das Essen schmeckt klasse. Die Bedienungen sind super freundlich und die Preise absolut ok. Das Ambiente ist vielleicht etwas in die Jahre gekommen (dunkle Holzvertäfelung) ist nicht mehr so ganz aktuell. Sitzmöglichkeiten (Stühle) alles völlig ok. Wir gehen da gerne hin.

Gut zu erreichende Location. Sehr netter Service. Ambiente könnte hochwertiger und italienischer sein. Die Karte ist klein und übersichtlich. Das Essen war für unser Geschmack ok, denn leider fehlte der Charakter. Da haben wir in anderen italienisches Restaurants schon besser gespeist. Preis-Leistung ist absolut in Ordnung.

Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal!Als allererstes wird einem die Tür aufgehalten und man wird herzlich begrüßt. Leider haben wir nicht reserviert,jedoch wurde uns angeboten Stühle von draußen zu holen und einen Tisch mittig zu platzieren. Da wir keine Umstände bereiten wollten,lehnten wir ab. Wenn das Essen so gut ist wie der Service,dann wundert es uns nicht,dass das Lokal so voll war . Gerne bis bald !

Der Name des Restaurants ist Programm, eine ganze Familie heißt Dich hier willkommen und führt Dich aufmerksam und ohne aufdringlichsein durch den Abend. Die Aufmachung des Lokals wirkt ebenfalls familiär, ohne viel Schnikschnak. Extras werden möglich gemacht. Das Essen war sehr gut. Besonders gefallen hat mir, dass man mehr auf Geschmack statt Masse setzt. Ich war satt und hatte trotzdem Lust und Platz für Nachtisch, den ich dann auch sehr genossen habe. Dort war ich definitiv nicht das letzte Mal. Mein Fazit- empfehlenswert.

Also, das Essen war lecker und schmackhaft. Der Service nicht wie bei vorherigen Besuchen. Bei drei Personen mit mehr als 140 EUR Umsatz plus 10 EUR Tipp gab es dieses Mal keinen Grappa zum Abschluss. Sehr schade. Da sind die griechischen Restaurants etwas aufmerksamer.

Spontan reserviert. Schon am Telefon sehr nett und einladend! Endlich mal wieder ein Italiener mit rot-weiß karierter Tischdecke, kein Schnickschnack-sehr gemütlich und mit einer tollen Tageskarte! Service/Besitzer so aufmerksam und zuvorkommend! Das Essen einfach spitze! Egal, ob Pizza, Muscheln oder Fleisch…ein Traum! Preis/Leistung passt sehr gut!
