Great advice, great steaks in a great atmosphere, also excellent pasta and pizza

We've eaten there often and have always been satisfied. However, yesterday, instead of a non-alcoholic mojito, we received an alcoholic one, and we were charged for the wrong one. Instead of a German rum steak, we received an Argentinian one. We were less satisfied.

Our family would like to express their sincere thanks to Gazi. He always strives to ensure the well-being of his visitors.

Here, too, there are double table reservations in the evening. That meant we had to wait at the bar for our table until the other guests had paid and disappeared. Some guests have to wait and others are stressed so that they disappear. The service at the bar was very friendly. The rest of the service was neither friendly nor unfriendly. Stressed would be the right word. A waiter complained to us that there weren't enough tips and that no one wanted to work in the catering industry anymore. But what surprises us is the very expensive prices. When it came to eating, the meat and salad were good but the side dishes weren't great. The potato gratin tasted like nothing and the pepperonata tasted strange. The Mahr Bräu beer is available in small 0.4l glasses for €4.30 each, which corresponds to a beer case price of €107.50. Unfortunately, if you have 4 negative abnormalities, you have to deduct 4 stars. That's a shame because the atmosphere is very nice. Unfortunately no recommendation.

Salmon, not even 10 x 10 cm, with a bit of vegetables, two mini potatoes, and sauce, for €28.90. Tiramisu for €8.20. If you want to spend a lot of money and leave hungry, this is the place for you. The portions used to be significantly larger. Never again

The food was excellent. We had rib-eye steak and T-bone steak. The staff were very friendly.

Everything was great, we'd love to come back! They could add a few more vegan/vegetarian options, as the selection is a bit limited. Otherwise, there's absolutely nothing to complain about. ☺️☺️☺️

Tip: Be sure to try the steak tartare and the fillet steak – both highly recommended! The restaurant in Bamberg is a very good place overall. However, the background noise can be a bit loud depending on the clientele, making conversation a bit difficult – especially on a first date. For dessert, I highly recommend the tiramisu – incredibly delicious and definitely a highlight of the evening!

It's always a great experience, whether for lunch or dinner for two or with a larger group. Top-notch food, great service, and a fantastic atmosphere.

They're too stupid to properly put two vouchers in the envelope. After a complaint, they raised their noses and said they weren't interested. Never again from this store. A disgrace. A rip-off store. They act big and do nothing.

We were there with our dog, who was given a water bowl first. For starters, we had an antipasti platter—it wasn't anything special. For the main course, we had pizza. My partner had a gluten-free version, which was delicious. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the ingredients, which isn't often the case. The base of my pizza was a bit soggy, but I like it that way 😀 The desserts were also very good. The waitress was very attentive, and we'll definitely be back.

Stylish furnishings. We found it very nice that the staff greeted us completely - no matter where we met. People liked to feel welcome. Food was prepared quickly, hot and tasty. Reasonably priced for lunchtime. Credit card payments were accepted. Restaurant was well attended. Moderately loud. Good mood.

Went there for a wedding lunch - staff was super friendly, food delicious and service very fast. Only thing that could be improved is to add a little 'V on the menu for vegetarian dishes, so some don't have to read through the whole menu.

I can recommend this pizzaria. However, pizzas were noticeably burnt on the edges. The final coffee spilled, saucer full. Instead of a distance to get a fresh new coffee we had to ask for a napkin which was reluctantly placed on the table. Without a word of regret. It's a shame, you shouldn't treat guests like that in this price range.

It is advisable to reserve a table at lunchtime. The portions are large and taste very good. I can recommend the Rodez pizza and the ginger lemon lemonade. There is usually also a weekly menu.

We celebrated my father's birthday today and he asked me to write this review. First of all: we would also give 10 stars if we could! There were six of us, a small “chaotic group” :D We were looked after perfectly by every employee, every wish was implemented by the kitchen and the food was perfect and plentiful! The chimi churri almost killed my brother, it was so spicy. So if you like it really spicy, feel free and enjoy ;) My brother has chili in his blood! Nothing else is too spicy for that... The starters were very tasty - ***** Especially the seafood salad! And my mother is a fan of the tiny rolls :D The main courses - ***** The steaks were perfect and so were the calamari and the pizzas - everything was delicious. The only point of criticism about the plate for 2 people: It would have been nice if, for example, there had been flags with the type of meat served so that you knew which meat you were eating ;) The desserts were the icing on the cake - ***** And I should give special praise to the Creme Brulè! It was again a perfect evening for us with perfect hosts and perfect food <3 We'll be back for our next birthday ;) Thanks again to the great 5* team!

The food was good. BUT the seat reservation is just a sham. The reserved table in the specific area could not be made available to us because there were supposedly so many people there. Then why do you even offer this option???!!! The homemade lemonade with strawberries was warm and didn't taste good. The pizza was OK and the steak was good. It's very disappointing that you can't even get to the reserved table for a meal per person for over 30 euros. We won't be coming back.

Visit to Rodez Sieben on February 27, 2025 for a business lunch. Reservations in advance are recommended as the restaurant has a very good reputation and is always busy at weekends. The atmosphere is very cozy and invites guests to have a great stay. The menu is varied, but not overloaded. The restaurant focuses on meat, fish and Italian cuisine. Italian pasta and pizza dishes are also primarily offered. The service in the restaurant is good, very friendly and explains details of the menu when asked. As the evening progressed, however, I would have liked the service to be a little more present for dessert and drink requests. The main courses were of excellent quality. Our focus was on fish and seafood. Top quality, perfect cooking level and the language on the plate convinced us. The drinks menu is extensive and regional specialties are listed. A small show effect is carried out with certain dishes in the restaurant, such as finishing the paste in the parmesan loaf at the table. We were able to experience this at the next table and it shows a certain importance of the restaurant. Summary, we had a great evening at Rodez 7, a great atmosphere for every occasion and the visit is worth the price! As a small suggestion for improvement, I would like to recommend that the restaurant not set the music too loudly, as we found it a bit disturbing during conversations. Still a wonderful evening, thank you very much!

Always fantastically good in all respects, without exception. For years now with probably 50+ visits. Absolute recommendation.

My husband and I recently ate there, but unfortunately we can't quite agree with the good reviews. When we ordered a plate of meat with scampi for two people, we were made aware of the price, even though it was clearly on the menu. My husband pointed out to the waiter that we were aware of the price. The waitress repeated "€68 PER PERSON... TOTAL €136" with a questioning look. We found this situation very strange, even when you deal with "young" people (29/26), you don't question whether they can afford it. The price is clearly listed on the menu, so asking people multiple times if they are aware of the price is very rude. When the platter arrived, we noticed that instead of scampi, there was squid. But the waitress didn't say anything about it or ask if it was okay. Except for the wrong ingredients on the plate, the food was good. We didn't think the service was good at all. In our opinion, this counts as much as good food.

Disappointing evening – more attention would be welcome Unfortunately, our visit to this steak restaurant was disappointing from start to finish. We had ordered two drinks and two main courses, but there were errors with the drinks: the wines we ordered were delivered incorrectly and served in unsuitable glasses. Unfortunately, my steak, which I ordered medium, was served well done and the plates were cold, which meant the food cooled down very quickly. When I mentioned this to the service staff, the waiter was friendly and immediately offered to re-prepare my food - a positive aspect. However, I think it's a shame that with such high-quality and expensive products, the initial preparation was not carried out with the necessary care. Better control in the kitchen would be desirable to avoid such errors. Another point that bothered me was the recommendation of a significantly more expensive piece of meat after the dish I originally ordered was apparently no longer available. At first the recommendation seemed convincing, but in retrospect I had the impression that it was more about selling an expensive product than honest advice. The moment when paying was particularly unpleasant. The waiter asked me if the food was good, and although I wasn't really satisfied, I politely replied "good". But instead of simply accepting my answer, he literally insisted that I say something positive, making me feel pressured. This type of communication does not leave a good impression - honest feedback should be respected. I thought for a long time whether I should write this review, but I think that a restaurant that sees itself as one of the best in the area should also have a correspondingly high standard for its service and quality. Mistakes can happen, but a more attentive and careful handling of the products and guests would be desirable.

The food was average, not good enough for the price. We also waited an hour and a half for food. After an hour someone from service came and explained it would take longer. But a free drink wasn't even offered as an apology...all in all you had to trip up the service staff if you wanted anything else...I'm definitely not going there again.

It's always beautiful and delicious here. The cellars and waiters try very hard to ensure that everything is perfect, even with our numerous special requests.

The restaurant is located in an industrial area, so there are no problems with parking. The waitresses are very friendly and accommodating. Even if the prices are a bit high, a visit to the restaurant is definitely worth it.

very great restaurant, not only for steak lovers, pizza and pasta also looked very good. We ate an appetizer plate and the rodez7 premium plate, wading different cuts on it and you could eat several different types. The price is high but the quality is worth the price and we were completely satisfied.

We really loved the steakhouse! The meat was cooked perfectly – juicy, tender and full of flavor. The selection of side dishes and sauces was also excellent and rounded off the dish wonderfully. The atmosphere of the restaurant is particularly noteworthy: the decor is tasteful and inviting, with pleasant lighting that creates a cozy atmosphere. Were there on Christmas Day. Despite it being full, service was good and quick. The food was outstanding, from the starters to the steaks and dessert. Small deduction because it was quite drafty on the window front in the winter garden. The blankets provided didn't really help either. Otherwise, I'd be happy to come back at any time. Thank you

This review is my own experience and it is clear that many factors influence it. Updating my other visits to this restaurant. Three times ago it was excellent in terms of service and steak. Second time perfect service but a cold steak in the middle!!!! and the other hard. On this last occasion the steaks were acceptable and unfortunately the service left something to be desired. Based on my previous experiences, I didn't want to visit this restaurant. Someone gave us a voucher. We had a reservation first and arrived just 5 minutes early. The waiter came quickly and gave us the appetizers and two different steaks at once. In 10 minutes they served us the main courses and almost 40 minutes later the rest. My problem is that several tables of 5 or 6 people arrive long after us and are already eating their main courses. I assumed someone had made a mistake in the kitchen and called what appeared to be the main waiter. He responded snippily and said loudly as he walked away from my table that we had to wait because it was Christmas!!!!! and not because it shows me the order of the order... which I don't care about at this point!! I write a lot. To make a long story short, and I say this from my own experience in the service sector: it would be easier to just say "Sorry, I'll take care of it" and punk. The fact that a guest asks why and how long their meal is taking is no reason to be offended, let alone blame me because it occurs to me I'm going out to eat at Christmas! Gentlemen, you work in the service sector and not only sell food, but also an experience.

You can tell that you are genuinely trying to give your guests not only a culinary treat but also a pleasant break for the soul. Although stress and hustle and bustle are always the order of the day for you, neither your politeness nor your hospitality suffer. Since we are certainly constructively critical, but you really never had any reason to complain, we are always happy and always happy to accept the 30km to our favorite restaurant and thank you very much! Well, the steak was expensive but still good. However, the beer is served in 0.4 liter glasses, in Franconia... There is no non-alcoholic beer, Jever Fun is served instead? An absolute absurdity for a city with a beer tradition.

Went there for dinner today with my wife. Service top. Food top. Ambience great. I asked if there was grappa on the house since I have 40, and it was there without any ifs or buts. Thank you very much for that and for the great evening. Only recommended. We'll be back.

Our team event yesterday at Rodez 7 was simply great! A huge compliment to Federica and Engin, who made the evening unforgettable. Federica was incredibly attentive and even presented us with special steaks, while Engin created a great atmosphere with his humor. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service perfect and the food first class. We felt completely at home - a huge thank you to the entire team! We'll definitely be back! 🫶🏽

Top service, top quality meat at a good price.

Very good food and good service. There is a slight deduction for the lukewarm espresso after the meal, even though it came directly from the bar, but apparently the cup was not preheated. The place opposite the bar is only recommended to a limited extent in cold temperatures, as cold air, probably from the entrance area, would occasionally hit your legs. The restaurant itself is furnished to a very high standard, with a large selection at the bar and the area is rather large and can accommodate many guests, which is of course also noticeable in the background noise. Nonetheless, a lovely visit that will be repeated.

The experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The service was terrible - despite repeated requests, we didn't get a glass of water. One of the starters came half an hour late and was only served upon request. The waiter was obviously drunk because he was drinking beer at the next table. In the end the bill was €100 too high and we had to do the math ourselves because the waiter left us completely alone. Because of this bad experience I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Unfortunately a very disappointing experience at Rodez 7 in Bamberg. We had ordered several starters - all of them came at the same time, except for one, which was only served after repeated requests and 30 minutes later. Even after repeated requests, we didn't get a glass with the bottle of water we ordered, which made the service seem even more unprofessional. At the end we ordered a cappuccino, but it came with a biscuit that had obviously already been eaten - absolutely unhygienic. When we checked the bill, we discovered that they were overcharging €100 (€350 instead of €250). Instead of helping us sort things out, the waiter left us completely alone and we had to laboriously add up the bill ourselves. Normally I don't see it as my job to add up my own bill! The food was really tasty but the service was a disaster. The waiter looked as if he had had one too many beers at the next table. Overall a big disappointment. We only give the star because the food was actually very tasty. We won't come again.

Very nice location, especially for special occasions! A culinary delight for every gourmet who leaves nothing to be desired.

The service can be expanded. Food is delivered incorrectly, plates are snatched from under your nose as soon as you're done. A football club made the atmosphere unenjoyable and the noise drove us away.
