I'm disappointed with Restaurant Rodez 7. For €90 for two people, two-thirds of the food was wonderful, but the remaining third was greasy and inedible. We only got one Coke with our meal—absolutely no more! There were loads of waiters who occasionally found time for a chat, but otherwise they were "busy" running around. Yet we sat there for half an hour with an empty bottle, and no one even asked if the food was okay or if we wanted anything to drink. When I asked for the bill, the answer was "two minutes," and then after 20 minutes the waiter came back again, saying, "Oops, I forgot about you." There was, however, time for the aforementioned chat. For that price, I expect top-notch service and impeccable food. Two no's. In short: I'll definitely never go back to that place!

A lovely atmosphere and a great seat away from the hustle and bustle. Our waiter was very friendly and created a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food arrived a little late and there was a small order error, but it was corrected immediately. Overall, very satisfied!

Rodez is always good. I like going there for pizza because they have unusual varieties and always a weekly/seasonal menu.

We had a wonderful lunch here after buying our car. Pizza, burgers, and steak. Everything was delicious, and the service was excellent. The price was a bit higher, but in our opinion, absolutely justified.

I ate here for the second time last week as part of a company event. The first time, I ordered steak, which was very tasty and attractively presented. The second time, I ordered the chicken, and the portion was a joke considering the price. It tasted good, though. My partner had the calamari, which was a complete disappointment. Tough as rubber and barely seasoned. The accompanying garlic bread was a yeast bread (?) and an absolute disgrace. If you enjoy a good steak, this is the place for you. Other dishes should perhaps be approached with caution, especially considering the relatively high prices for Bamberg. Therefore, I can only give this restaurant a limited recommendation.

We were there a week ago. The food and service were okay, but unfortunately the man at the entrance wasn't very friendly. We had made an online reservation and stated that there were five people. We had accidentally forgotten to mention that two of the five people were children. As we entered, the man pointed out to us, in front of everyone standing behind us, that we hadn't stated this. We understood him the first time, but then he discussed it again in great detail, in front of everyone. If it hadn't been my sister's birthday, we would have left. If anything, we would have needed a high chair, so I still don't understand the problem. It's a shame they're so inflexible.

The pizza was super crispy, with just the right toppings. It was very tasty. The salad was also incredibly delicious, with a very good dressing. The price-performance ratio for the lunch menu was absolutely fantastic.

After our second visit to this visually appealing restaurant, I'd like to share a detailed review. Shortly before the end of the school holidays, we decided to spend a relaxing evening dining in Bamberg with our children and a family friend. Despite being very busy, we were able to make a last-minute reservation – thank you very much for that! The welcome was exceptionally warm, and we immediately felt welcome and like we were among friends. 🙏🏻 We were able to choose our drinks at our leisure from the extensive menu – the wine advice was excellent. Since we like to deviate from the norm, we asked Karim (thank you so much for your excellent service and the unforgettable evening!) to put together something special for us. (A person who loves his job and treats us as equals!) The result was overwhelming: a 1500g fillet platter and a very generous fish platter with generous side dishes – simply sensational! It was an absolute feast for the palate. Everyone at our table was thoroughly satisfied and felt well looked after, including the children (6, 9, and 10 years old). Even the dessert platter was lovingly and individually prepared and presented for us. Wonderful! If you want to enjoy absolutely outstanding service and fantastic cuisine, this is the place for you! Many thanks to Karim and the entire team for this wonderful evening!

We stumbled upon this lovely restaurant at short notice. The dishes were very well prepared and the ambiance was perfect. Upon entering, we were seated in no time, even without a reservation. If we're ever in Bamberg again, we'll definitely stop by Rodez 7. Highly recommended

Excellent service and the food is very good though the gluten free pizza resulted not to be entirely without gluten. But it may be due to cross contamination which in Italian restaurants processing so much bread and pasta must be inevitable. Overall a nice place to have a delicious dinner :)

Regulars at Rodez Seven We've been coming to Rodez regularly for years – always to the restaurant area, where Gazi takes care of the guests. A waiter with heart, humor, and genuine attention. His recommendations are top-notch, and when there's time, there's even a pleasant conversation at eye level. The food is consistently excellent – juicy steaks, delicious pasta, seasonal dishes. A successful blend of Italian cuisine and steakhouse fare. The rest of the team is equally friendly and professional – whether in the conservatory or the entrance area. In summary: Good food, great service, a relaxed atmosphere. And Gazi makes the visit special every time.

We've eaten there often and have always been satisfied. However, yesterday, instead of a non-alcoholic mojito, we received an alcoholic one, and we were charged for the wrong one. Instead of a German rum steak, we received an Argentinian one. We were less satisfied.

Our family would like to express their sincere thanks to Gazi. He always strives to ensure the well-being of his visitors.

Here, too, there are double table reservations in the evening. That meant we had to wait at the bar for our table until the other guests had paid and disappeared. Some guests have to wait and others are stressed so that they disappear. The service at the bar was very friendly. The rest of the service was neither friendly nor unfriendly. Stressed would be the right word. A waiter complained to us that there weren't enough tips and that no one wanted to work in the catering industry anymore. But what surprises us is the very expensive prices. When it came to eating, the meat and salad were good but the side dishes weren't great. The potato gratin tasted like nothing and the pepperonata tasted strange. The Mahr Bräu beer is available in small 0.4l glasses for €4.30 each, which corresponds to a beer case price of €107.50. Unfortunately, if you have 4 negative abnormalities, you have to deduct 4 stars. That's a shame because the atmosphere is very nice. Unfortunately no recommendation.

Tip: Be sure to try the steak tartare and the fillet steak – both highly recommended! The restaurant in Bamberg is a very good place overall. However, the background noise can be a bit loud depending on the clientele, making conversation a bit difficult – especially on a first date. For dessert, I highly recommend the tiramisu – incredibly delicious and definitely a highlight of the evening!

It's always a great experience, whether for lunch or dinner for two or with a larger group. Top-notch food, great service, and a fantastic atmosphere.

They're too stupid to properly put two vouchers in the envelope. After a complaint, they raised their noses and said they weren't interested. Never again from this store. A disgrace. A rip-off store. They act big and do nothing.

We were there with our dog, who was given a water bowl first. For starters, we had an antipasti platter—it wasn't anything special. For the main course, we had pizza. My partner had a gluten-free version, which was delicious. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the ingredients, which isn't often the case. The base of my pizza was a bit soggy, but I like it that way 😀 The desserts were also very good. The waitress was very attentive, and we'll definitely be back.

Went there for a wedding lunch - staff was super friendly, food delicious and service very fast. Only thing that could be improved is to add a little 'V on the menu for vegetarian dishes, so some don't have to read through the whole menu.

I can recommend this pizzaria. However, pizzas were noticeably burnt on the edges. The final coffee spilled, saucer full. Instead of a distance to get a fresh new coffee we had to ask for a napkin which was reluctantly placed on the table. Without a word of regret. It's a shame, you shouldn't treat guests like that in this price range.

It is advisable to reserve a table at lunchtime. The portions are large and taste very good. I can recommend the Rodez pizza and the ginger lemon lemonade. There is usually also a weekly menu.

The food was good. BUT the seat reservation is just a sham. The reserved table in the specific area could not be made available to us because there were supposedly so many people there. Then why do you even offer this option???!!! The homemade lemonade with strawberries was warm and didn't taste good. The pizza was OK and the steak was good. It's very disappointing that you can't even get to the reserved table for a meal per person for over 30 euros. We won't be coming back.

We celebrated my father's birthday today and he asked me to write this review. First of all: we would also give 10 stars if we could! There were six of us, a small “chaotic group” :D We were looked after perfectly by every employee, every wish was implemented by the kitchen and the food was perfect and plentiful! The chimi churri almost killed my brother, it was so spicy. So if you like it really spicy, feel free and enjoy ;) My brother has chili in his blood! Nothing else is too spicy for that... The starters were very tasty - ***** Especially the seafood salad! And my mother is a fan of the tiny rolls :D The main courses - ***** The steaks were perfect and so were the calamari and the pizzas - everything was delicious. The only point of criticism about the plate for 2 people: It would have been nice if, for example, there had been flags with the type of meat served so that you knew which meat you were eating ;) The desserts were the icing on the cake - ***** And I should give special praise to the Creme Brulè! It was again a perfect evening for us with perfect hosts and perfect food <3 We'll be back for our next birthday ;) Thanks again to the great 5* team!

Visit to Rodez Sieben on February 27, 2025 for a business lunch. Reservations in advance are recommended as the restaurant has a very good reputation and is always busy at weekends. The atmosphere is very cozy and invites guests to have a great stay. The menu is varied, but not overloaded. The restaurant focuses on meat, fish and Italian cuisine. Italian pasta and pizza dishes are also primarily offered. The service in the restaurant is good, very friendly and explains details of the menu when asked. As the evening progressed, however, I would have liked the service to be a little more present for dessert and drink requests. The main courses were of excellent quality. Our focus was on fish and seafood. Top quality, perfect cooking level and the language on the plate convinced us. The drinks menu is extensive and regional specialties are listed. A small show effect is carried out with certain dishes in the restaurant, such as finishing the paste in the parmesan loaf at the table. We were able to experience this at the next table and it shows a certain importance of the restaurant. Summary, we had a great evening at Rodez 7, a great atmosphere for every occasion and the visit is worth the price! As a small suggestion for improvement, I would like to recommend that the restaurant not set the music too loudly, as we found it a bit disturbing during conversations. Still a wonderful evening, thank you very much!

My husband and I recently ate there, but unfortunately we can't quite agree with the good reviews. When we ordered a plate of meat with scampi for two people, we were made aware of the price, even though it was clearly on the menu. My husband pointed out to the waiter that we were aware of the price. The waitress repeated "€68 PER PERSON... TOTAL €136" with a questioning look. We found this situation very strange, even when you deal with "young" people (29/26), you don't question whether they can afford it. The price is clearly listed on the menu, so asking people multiple times if they are aware of the price is very rude. When the platter arrived, we noticed that instead of scampi, there was squid. But the waitress didn't say anything about it or ask if it was okay. Except for the wrong ingredients on the plate, the food was good. We didn't think the service was good at all. In our opinion, this counts as much as good food.

Disappointing evening – more attention would be welcome Unfortunately, our visit to this steak restaurant was disappointing from start to finish. We had ordered two drinks and two main courses, but there were errors with the drinks: the wines we ordered were delivered incorrectly and served in unsuitable glasses. Unfortunately, my steak, which I ordered medium, was served well done and the plates were cold, which meant the food cooled down very quickly. When I mentioned this to the service staff, the waiter was friendly and immediately offered to re-prepare my food - a positive aspect. However, I think it's a shame that with such high-quality and expensive products, the initial preparation was not carried out with the necessary care. Better control in the kitchen would be desirable to avoid such errors. Another point that bothered me was the recommendation of a significantly more expensive piece of meat after the dish I originally ordered was apparently no longer available. At first the recommendation seemed convincing, but in retrospect I had the impression that it was more about selling an expensive product than honest advice. The moment when paying was particularly unpleasant. The waiter asked me if the food was good, and although I wasn't really satisfied, I politely replied "good". But instead of simply accepting my answer, he literally insisted that I say something positive, making me feel pressured. This type of communication does not leave a good impression - honest feedback should be respected. I thought for a long time whether I should write this review, but I think that a restaurant that sees itself as one of the best in the area should also have a correspondingly high standard for its service and quality. Mistakes can happen, but a more attentive and careful handling of the products and guests would be desirable.

The food was average, not good enough for the price. We also waited an hour and a half for food. After an hour someone from service came and explained it would take longer. But a free drink wasn't even offered as an apology...all in all you had to trip up the service staff if you wanted anything else...I'm definitely not going there again.
