The mulled wine was of very poor quality. But the pizza was always good otherwise.

Had ice cream in a cone. €2, or €2.90 for a scoop, admittedly very tasty, but way too expensive. The waitress (female), no smile, no greeting, very unfriendly, abrupt. Won't be back.

The large chocolate soft serve for 5.50 euros doesn't taste good.

A scoop of ice cream costs €2, while premium ice cream costs €3! I wonder how the price comes about. I was in Cochem on the Moselle two weeks ago. It's a beautiful tourist town with an Italian ice cream parlor right on the Moselle promenade. It's called Gelatine Bortolot 1896. A scoop of ice cream costs €1.60 there, while premium ice cream costs €2! So, it's much better for the buyer. This is something to keep in mind in Leipzig.

The pizzas may look great, but the quality and taste of the dough are no longer the same. We're very sorry about that.

You don't get served, you always have to call for the waitress. The ice cream is watery, poorly presented, and there are way too many raisins. I don't think I'll ever eat raisins again. And no one was friendly either!

This ice café offers a wide selection of tasty and fresh ice creams. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming, specially the Persian one. A great spot to relax and enjoy – highly recommended!

The charm of the past has vanished, like in many other Leipzig restaurants. We came here for ice cream. Everything was very strawberry-heavy. Not even the banana boat made it onto the menu anymore. I don't need to write about the prices; eating ice cream = going out to eat.

I ordered two small pizza slices and a bottle of cola. But I still can't understand why the total costs more than 16. Because a pizza slice should be very cheap. So I'd like to know why it costs so much. If you look, please answer. Does it cost much more if you take a seat?

I ate ice cream here for the first time since the renovation/remodel. The prices are steep...for us village kids. The worst part, though, was that the ice cream was almost inedible. The soft serve has nothing to do with vanilla. The chocolate may still be edible, but it's also borderline. The ice cream scoops are also a tragedy. My little one had watermelon. I can only say, stay away from that flavor. It's a shame; I used to enjoy driving there especially.

€9.50 for two scoops of ice cream with whipped cream! I'd get a huge cup in a real ice cream parlor. The waiters were terrible. Rude; you can't even resol your shoes as you leave. You also have to ask for someone to serve you. My request to pay the bill immediately, before it arrives, was ignored. They preferred to disturb me while I was eating. Never again.

Yesterday I bought two scoops of ice cream and tried to pay by card. It was declined twice, so I paid in cash. I checked my account today, and now the amount has been debited twice. What's this? Absolutely outrageous.

We ordered four pizzas and wanted to sit outside, but were then sent away because you're not allowed to eat the pizza to go at the tables outside. It's just a total rip-off.

The pizza is delicious, but the staff needs better training. While they're all very nice, they seem disorganized and unprofessional when it comes to handling food. For example, it's unacceptable that a fly can comfortably eke out its existence in the pizza counter while two salespeople stand right in front of it, observing it instead of chasing it away.

We visited San Remo for the first time in a long time and were unfortunately very disappointed. All that remains of the "old" San Remo is the name. Upon glancing at the ice cream menu, we noticed that there were hardly any fruit cups on the menu anymore. The ice cream is also no longer served in cups, but on a plate. Oh well. By the time the plate arrived, the ice cream had already thawed quite a bit, but you could still clearly see that the scoops were very small. The taste of the ice cream isn't what it used to be either. Absolutely average. The relatively empty outdoor seating should have been a warning.

Unfortunately, it was very crowded, even though the weather was great and it was a gymnastics festival. I think the service would be faster otherwise. Apparently, only one employee had the device to take orders, so the rest had to use pen and paper. This could be changed; it took quite a while for orders to be taken. The classic ice cream sundae wasn't available here either; everything was served on a plate, except for the yogurt sundae. The ice cream itself was very tasty. You could tell which flavor of ice cream you wanted worked perfectly. Everything was fine. The €10 mark hasn't been broken yet, only for one or two sundaes. Otherwise, the average price was €9.20.

A street shop in the middle of the pedestrian zone—and a top address for that. The shop, run by owner Eberhard, was a regular destination for our group during the German Gymnastics Festival and also actively supported us!

The ice cream sundaes were far from what you'd expect from pictures. The ice cream was already half melted, and the spaghetti ice cream consisted of more cream than ice cream. I was a big fan of this ice cream parlor for many years and looked forward to my favorite ice cream every year – formerly known as Moscow Style, later renamed San Remo Special. It had a unique flavor, with real Nutella and sweet condensed milk – a dream! Unfortunately, a lot has changed this season. The taste is noticeably different – ​​in my opinion, higher-quality ingredients have been replaced with cheaper alternatives. Instead of Nutella, they now seem to use a simple hazelnut spread, and there's no trace of the typical condensed milk. The result just doesn't taste the same as it used to – disappointing. At €2.70 per scoop, I expect quality, which is unfortunately no longer offered. It's a shame, because this ice cream parlor was my first choice for a long time. I'll think twice about returning in the future.

San Remo Royal ice cream flavor absolutely recommended!

I can only report on the ice cream sale outside. Before we moved from Leipzig, we were San Remo's biggest fans and would have given it 5 stars in every respect. All our guests were always taken to San Remo to taste the delicious ice cream. However, our visit to Leipzig and our anticipation of San Remo completely disappointed us. The ice cream tastes different, the balls are much smaller, but much more expensive and the ice cream seller wasn't exactly friendly or enthusiastic. The next day we wanted to know again and grabbed some soft ice cream. There was no price and unfortunately I didn't ask. I've never been so speechless when they charged a whopping €11.00 for two soft ice creams in my hand (well, "supposedly" big?). I couldn't stop spitting - €11.00??? With all my love, that's where it ends for me, even if I can afford it. I'm wondering how a pensioner or family with children is supposed to pay for this. It's incredibly sad that the only option left is cheap packaging from discount stores. For me, this is almost a rip-off and if we visit Leipzig again soon, we won't go here again. It's a shame, but it tastes good elsewhere too🍨

The soft ice cream is totally overpriced (€4.00 for the small portion) and then also added water. If I had been able to see the prices, I wouldn't have bought it in the first place. But this way you feel ripped off.

We went purely for the advertised €3 Margherita, which suddenly costs €5. The fact that there were other cuts wasn't even mentioned. The unfriendly staff won't listen to reason, as the cut was just being warmed up (it wasn't even in the oven yet). A complete tourist trap, never again!

Tried many ice cream flavors and all were great. Service is very fast and staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a street shop so don’t expect seats, one can take ice cream and walk around or set under trees next to the shop. The area is middle of downtown which is interesting and fun to be at.

Sorry but just overpriced. I love soft ice cream and have often gone right here to eat one, but at 4 euros for a small and 5.50 euros for a large soft ice cream, it's easy... well, say it yourself.

After a long time, I thought it would be nice to go out for ice cream on a beautiful spring day. The prices left me speechless. 2€ for a scoop of ice cream. This is absolute extortion and accordingly I will avoid the restaurant (which used to be good and cheap) in the future. My pain threshold is 80 cents for a scoop of ice cream. The pizza slices for €3.50 are simply too small for their price.

Über das italienische Essen kann ich nichts sagen, aber die Quarkbällchen und Kräppelchen/Schmalzkuchen/Mutzen sind nicht so gut. Viel zu wenig Puderzucker (quasi keiner), teilweise steinhart bzw knusprig. Nur die ganz großen waren noch schön weich und fluffig. Wirklich schade, denn der Preis ist super.

Die Pizza 🍕 schmeckt uns immer wunderbar. Die Bedienung am kleinen Ausschank wirkt leider oft unfreundlich.

Entweder Pizzeria oder Eiscafé..beides geht zu Lasten der Qualität... Eis Note 2... Tiramisu Note 5 wer das als Tiramisu verkauft bekommt Einreiseverbot in Italien... Cappuccino Note 3...es gibt so phantastische Kuchen und Eisspezialitäten aus Italien nur leider nicht hier

Das Eis am Straßenverkauf schmeckt hier wirklich sehr gut, selbst mein 2 Jähriger Enkel hat ne ganze Kugel verputzt. Natürlich im Becher wegen der Klexkerei

Qualität wie immer sehr gut, nur die Auswahl ist viel weniger geworden. Sitzmöglichkeiten gibt es leider nicht mehr. Sich an einem Tisch hinsetzen und einen Eisbecher bestellen ist nicht mehr möglich (schade). An den Menschenschlangen vor det Susgabe sieht man wie gut die Qualität ist. An die Geschäftsführung bitte öffnen Sie wieder Ihr Eiscafe, Corona ist vorbei.

Wir haben uns hier ein leckeres Eis geholt und waren begeistert. schmeckt super lecker , war aber auch nicht ganz günstig. Trotzdem ein gutes Preis / Leistungnsverhältnis. Also hier kann man gern eine Kugel sich genehmigen.

Wir waren heute auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt und haben am Stand von San Remo einen Glühwein getrunken. Als wir die Tasse zurückgeben wollten, wurden die Tasse nicht abgenommen und wir wurden darauf hingewiesen, das die Tasse irgendwo da unten abgegebeb werden muß -Abzocke. Das passiert an keinem anderen Stand.

Lecker Glühwein getrunken und Kräppelchen genascht. An der Tassen Rücknahme sollte man noch Verbesserungen in Betracht ziehen.

Hab dort nur Glühwein zur Adventszeit getrunken. Der war okay bis gut. Der Weiße geschmacklich besserals der rote Glühwein. Kräppelchen waren auch okay, Preislich sogar richtig gut.

Gemütliches und familiäres Ristorante in einer kleinen Seitenstraße. Die selbstgemachten Nudeln sowie der Nachtisch sind eine Empfehlung wert.

Geschmackvolles Eis und große Sortenauswahl zudem gibt es auch Softeis und Eisbecher. Sitzplätze sind leider keine vorhanden, dafür mehrere Stehtische vor der Eisdiele.

Beim Rundgang durch Leipzig das beste Eis der Stadt gegessen. Sehr lecker, sahnig und Geschmackvoll. Zu empfehlen.

Das „San Remo“ besteht aus dem eigentlichen Restaurant in der Nicolaistrasse 1 sowie einer Eisdiele auf Takeaway-Basis in der Hainstrasse 18. Dort haben auch wir unser Eis gekauft. Angeboten werden zwischen 20 und 25 Sorten. Die Kugel kostet 1,40€ und ist damit nicht billig. Aber die Portionen sind groß und wohlschmeckend. Zudem werden sie in sehr guten Waffeln angeboten. Mit den von uns gewählten Sorten waren wir jedenfalls zufrieden. Neben Eis werden zusätzlich noch Crêpes, etc. angeboten. Wer dort in der Nähe ist, sollte die Eisdiele durchaus einmal besuchen.

Während unseres Kurztrips nach Leipzig waren wir auch kurz in der Innenstadt und haben hier zu Abend gegessen. Die Pizzen, die Nudeln und auch danach das Eis vorne im Straßenverkauf sind echt gut gemacht und lecker. Dass es allerdings nach unserer Zählung 5 anwesende Servicekräfte hier nicht hinbekommen, zu verhindern, dass die Nudeln heiß auf dem Tisch landen, langsam gegeben werden und erst als der Teller leer ist eine der beiden bestellten Pizzen kommt und wenige Minuten später dann erst die zweite, das ist nicht nachvollziehbar. Hier wäre eine Portion Organisation vielleicht mal ganz gesund.
