In addition, the EC device in the restaurant was defective - a rogue who thinks evil of it. It would be desirable if these problems could be resolved promptly. Their sushi is really excellent, but unfortunately the service - both online and in the restaurant - leaves a lot to be desired.

The visit was extremely disappointing. If you want to eat together, it is unpleasant if the starter is only served to one person and the second follows 20 minutes later. Although only five tables were occupied, the staff seemed overwhelmed. Unfortunately, friendliness was sought in vain: the main course was also served at a different time - with a delay of around 20 minutes between dishes. In addition, the order was delivered incomplete. When we decided to cancel the rest, an older service person reacted extremely unfriendly and aggressively. The quality of the food was disappointing, maximum 3 out of 10. **Conclusion:** I will definitely not visit this restaurant again.

Very great Japanese restaurant near Nuremberg! Prices are good and not too expensive, but the restaurant makes a very high quality impression. The staff is very nice! It wasn't a hit. The starter came after the main course. The drinks still weren't there after 10 minutes. There were at least four tables occupied. You can be overwhelmed at times. The waitress knows the word friendliness more from the dictionary than in practice. The four different ducks were quite ok. You definitely won't order them a second time. Conclusion, once on the voucher block is ok, I don't have to go there a second time.

We ate vegetarian and were happy with our choice. Diverse selection, so everyone gets their money's worth. Practical, you can order at the table using a QR code (which we noticed too late ;) Pay attention to the display on the table. Very nice, there was a small side dish for free with the starter :) The ambience inside is nice, but there is a small flaw on the outside that can be overlooked. All in all, we felt comfortable and can recommend the Samurai.

Food good to very good: 4.5 stars Service good to very good: 4.5 stars Ambience good, unfortunately the soy sauce containers "stick" to the table. So it doesn't seem to be completely clean. When we were there on Sunday evening, the restaurant was 30% full. We have already been there twice because we wanted to redeem a voucher in the voucher book (2 for 1) or Schlemmerblock Fürth. The first time it was lunchtime. We were told that the voucher book was not valid for lunch dishes. Ok, that's actually in the gourmet block. Then we were there again in the evening and had ordered and wanted to take food home with us. Then it didn't work again because take-away meals are excluded. We didn't find that in the Schlemmerblock. And now we were there on Sunday evening and wanted to eat sushi there. And now we're told that sushi is also exempt. Which was really annoying because it's definitely not in the gourmet block. That annoyed us, so we deducted 1 star. The rice had also been forgotten with the dish, so we asked for it. Not quite optimal.

We ordered food to pick up over the phone on a Saturday evening and were told on the phone it would take 1 hour. After the hour in question, we drove to the restaurant to pick up the food. We were initially ignored for a long time. When we arrived there, after asking on our part, we were asked to wait a short time, unfortunately the “short wait” turned into a waiting time of 45 Minutes we were neither offered anything to drink during that time nor was any insight shown. You could clearly see how overwhelmed the staff was. We were long-time customers and always enjoyed going to Samurai. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case for us from now on. I've been to Samurai twice now because I was very impressed with the food and the lemonades the first time, it really tastes great!! BUT the service is terrible, no matter whether it's younger or older staff, whether there are a few tables or more tables occupied, they simply can't handle the service -> that's a fact! Because I've heard that several times, you can also read it in some of the reviews and now I've experienced it twice myself. Nevertheless, I will come back because it just tastes great :-).And after all, you go out to eat with people you like to spend time with, so you can bear the eeeennnoooorrrmmm long waiting time. I found one more point to be very crappy, I'll say, on my first visit I ordered Cola wheat and on my second visit I didn't get it, but an hour later I heard the waitress say to a neighboring table so and here their Cola wheat hmmmm what should that's it. Well the end result of this review is food top rest flop

As of: 8/24 We had reserved a table for six people. The three of us arrived a little earlier and registered for the time being. We wanted to sit outside and see if we could join two tables together... No problem at all!!! But there are still some coming to us and we also had a birthday child with us, which we unintentionally told the waitress. When we were full, the drinks were taken and suddenly the waitress came with a large plate of sliced ​​melons and oranges (a fruit plate) and it said "for the birthday child"! A cool gesture 👍👍 It didn't take long before a champagne cooler with a bottle of champagne including glasses was added!!! That's what I call a surprise, I've never had anything like that before👍👍👍 The taste of the food was really great, I had duck with egg noodles, the duck had a really nice crunchy crust and we were all thrilled with the taste. Wow! My friend and I were thrilled when we arrived at Samurai Restaurant. The food was absolutely great and the ambience was beautiful! 🥰 We also found the principle that you can order food to yourself via your cell phone with a QR code at the table to be really cool! You can also use the site to call waiters over and request the bill, but unfortunately that didn't work for us. The waiters barely looked at us, but were still always friendly! 😊 A little bit of information on the side: If you want to redeem the voucher from the gourmet block here, you should make sure to only order dishes marked as “main courses”. Unfortunately, sushi is not considered a main course there, even though it is neither included in starters nor desserts. We will therefore have to redeem the voucher another time.

The food is ok, but not a highlight, it fills you up and tastes without a wow effect. The service is catastrophic, but totally overwhelmed. 3 service staff with a maximum of 15 guests at the same time and the waiting time for orders to be taken and drinks to be brought was over 20 minutes. The food is brought by a service robot that wobbles so that some of the soup spills over onto the saucer and it is then placed on the table. The appetizer is served at the same time as the main course, so it cools down by the time you get to eating the main course. After the meal, the plates remain on the table, even though the service staff walked past empty-handed several times. We don't go there anymore.

I go to this restaurant regularly (at least 2-3 times a month) it is the best sushi restaurant I have ever been to in Germany, but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The staff speaks little German and is very disorganized, so you sometimes have to wait a long time. The food here is the most delicious, but the service needs to be reconsidered. I don't know what the problem is, either there is no good manager to guide and help the employees or the employees are not trained in basic organization and customer focus. Still, I will always choose this place because of the quality of the sushi and hope the service will be better in the future.

We then ordered drinks and food together. After 50 minutes still no drinks. I asked about it several times, complete ignorance. Totally overwhelmed in every respect. Several people have complained about this, including about eating late. Many got up and left again. In the future that means for us, only to go. I have rarely experienced such poor and incompetent service! You wait over 30 minutes for drinks and then sit in front of your empty starter plates for just as long. The sushi took that long again. They only showed mercy to us when we called and waved. The service mainly took care of people picking them up and more or less hardly noticed the guests on site. I'd rather go back to the other Japanese restaurant that has a shop not far away, pretty much everything is right there. You had your chance.

Menu only digital, without explanation of the dishes, so you need courage when ordering. However, the digital order did not work. Delay because an analogue order also had to be made. Spelling in the card...without words (drinking, disgusting chorus,...) Service staff seemed overwhelmed and unstructured. Orders were forgotten. Staff had to be asked to clean the previously used table. My food came to the table after about 2 hours, a big surprise since it wasn't clear what I was ordering. Finally, I had to pay money to pack the leftover food. In short, really disappointing. It's a shame, the Samurai remembered it better.

We always enjoyed visiting the Samuraj often for years. Unfortunately this is the last time. The day before yesterday we reserved a table for our guests with children. We asked a few times how long it would take. After exactly 1 hour only part of our starter arrived. I would still understand if the restaurant was full, but it wasn't half full. We even had to get our high chair ourselves because no one cared. Of course you can't keep a 2 year old child still for hours, the delay meant we had to get up and leave, hungry and excited. Instead of them being ashamed of their fault and giving us the food we ordered to take home free of charge as compensation, they even charged us for the drinks that we drank while we waited!! For me it's not about the money but about the behavior that was shown here to loyal customers or customers at all. By then you should have said that the drinks were on the house. I have never experienced such impudence and I will tell everyone around me about it. Just as I had previously recommended Samuraj to every Japanese lover, I will advise everyone against it after this gruesome visit! A real shame!

Waiting almost 2 hours for the food and then finding out that the preparation hasn't even started yet... Only after 1 hour were we informed that the meal would take “a little longer”. While waiting you have to watch as online and telephone orders go out one after the other... very unwisely done. When you pay for the drinks you only get a voucher if you ask. It's a shame, I used to love being here!

Customer service terrible. Samurai is a participant in a voucher booklet. We couldn't redeem it on our first visit because it had to be two main courses (it would have been cheaper for the restaurant, illogical). During today's visit I couldn't redeem the voucher again because the food was ordered to go (i.e. I would have used additional dishes and made a mess - I could have used the voucher - again illogical.) Dear Samurai team, THAT is great customer unfriendliness.

Actually very good sushi but unfortunately there is soy sauce on everything. Normally I'm not much of a soy sauce fan, but if you like soy sauce I would recommend this restaurant.

The good reviews here come about because you get sushi for free if you rate it well. A big white room, no coziness. The curry was good, the duck was a disaster. Of the four components that were on the menu, two were missing. When we pointed this out to the waitress, she took the plate back and came back about 20 minutes later with the same, now cold, meal with two cold snow peas and half a mushroom on top . From the crowd it was decoration, not part of the dish. For the price you expect more.

We usually like to go here. Today was the last time. 1/3 of the restaurant was occupied, quite little for a Sunday. We ordered shortly after we arrived. The spring rolls came before the drinks. Shortly afterwards our drinks arrived. From this point on, no one was at our table for 50 minutes and we weren't noticed either. After 50 minutes we went up and asked for our order, the waitress laughed and turned around and went into the kitchen. More minutes passed… None of the conditions came to the table to let us know that it might take longer. Simply remaining silent is the tactic here. Only when we asked again did we get the answer that the food was coming soon. At this point the plate was also cleared away before being driven. More minutes passed. The table in front of us waited 90 minutes for their food. We ended up getting the food before them. We ourselves waited 75 minutes. Nobody offered an apology. It was offered that the boss would come and she would then want to speak, but then the food came and not the boss. With a little communication and friendliness you can satisfy your guests. No customer will leave the restaurant happy if they remain silent. During the time we waited, orders outside the house were no different, with several angry customers. Even if the price is acceptable, the service and the waiting time are subpar. There was also no coffee or similar on the house. We were all laughed at and felt like we were being ripped off. —————————————————————————————————- Update 5 months later after our above recession we wanted to give them another chance and ordered online 90 minutes before pickup and what happened? We were disappointed again, apparently the order form was broken. The lady couldn’t think of anything better than to say “sorry”. Thank you, there are enough restaurateurs that we are happy to support and no longer support you!

Terrible! Price/performance has suffered greatly. Until recently, the rice was in its own packaging. Now this is part of the main course and of course takes up a lot of space, so less of the good and expensive side dishes fit in. Clever, but for me just audacious. The sauce leaked into the entire menu and made pretty much everything inedible. In addition, the fried vegetables tasted strongly of rancid fat, of which there was plenty! The salmon reminded me of an old wooden ruler - 3-4mm thin and a consistency like dried fish! The only bright spot - the sushi box was good overall.

30€ TWO DISHES 2 PERSONS I've never eaten Ching Chang so badly in my life, really disrespectful, no one was in the store, I waited for an hour. Baked chicken seemed to me as if they had to cut it very very thinly so I had to chew on the meat like it was a goat I've eaten Asian food at least over 200 times in my life. This Asian guy isn't worth any money in the world

In my opinion, the taste of the food was just ok. What really needs to be mentioned is that in my opinion there was hardly any food refilled on the carousel, so the same food kept passing by. Since the whole thing had a time limit, it was very annoying for us. We also found the staff to be very unfriendly. (Unfortunately, my previous review was not published due to various policy violations - cheers to our freedom of expression!)

Had dinner here this evening, hardly any choice. You will be asked to stop eating, but then you can wait 20 to 30 minutes until you get paid.
