A doner kebab weighing only 453 grams – with the sides of the bread completely empty, and tasting okay – is outrageous for €7.50! On top of that, the older staff were unfriendly. I used to go there maybe once a year, but I'll definitely avoid it in the future!

I bought a doner kebab there on Saturday, but the sauces didn't look very good. My stomach told me the same thing. I spent the whole weekend vomiting and had diarrhea. I'll never buy a doner kebab there again.

Unfortunately, disappointing! We buy our doner kebab from Moritzhof every now and then, at longer intervals. Our doner kebab with halloumi today was anything but good. The flatbread and meat were mediocre, the cabbage was okay, and you had to search for the tomato and cucumber. The price/performance ratio isn't right. I hope they return to the usual quality.

Way too expensive for really bad kebabs!!! There's simply no competition here, otherwise the shop would have closed long ago!

I belong to the older generation and, while not excessively, have occasionally bought a doner kebab or a kebab here for my husband and myself. For years, we've been satisfied; the food has always been delicious, hygienic, fresh, and the service is friendly. I've recommended it to others. But recently, it's been inedible. Expensive: €7.50 and €8.00, respectively. It tastes disgusting. Today was the worst. There was almost no meat in the kebab, probably fortunately. Truly disgusting. I threw it away. What's going on?

The food was delicious best Doner I’ve ever had in my life, the price is affordable, the sauce is the best of them all you won’t be able to find it anywhere else, the staff was very kind, I eat Doner a lot but this one is the best one, I recommend it 10/10

We were customers for years, but unfortunately, the quality and service have declined significantly. The sauces are 70-80% sugar, so you can't even taste a hint of herbs or garlic. The prices are more monopoly than fair. The next kebab is a single piece, but the quality is a hundred times better. At the Big Doner, you basically get just as much meat as at the regular one, but twice the salad... People don't eat more here.

The fries are always under-salted or not cooked properly. The doner sauce doesn't look homemade. You could maybe overlook that if you were buying quality, but the real kicker today was a bit of rice without meat or sauce for 4 euros. Honestly, shut your place down! Lößnig deserves better. I hope the owner reads this.

Impossible kebabs, no consistent quality—but ever-increasing prices (8 euros for a big kebab, which was just a regular kebab, with far too little meat). Today was probably Chinese kebab day: it tasted sweet and sour!! Stay away from this place!!

A solid, delicious doner kebab with veal or chicken. Classic selection of sauces and salad.

I ordered Big Durum, tried to pay by card but was refused because they don’t accept Visa cards for some reason. I went to ATM and when came back was charged 9€ instead of 8.50€. I don’t speak German and I politely showed that the price is 8.50€ employee said something to me in German in the rude way and for some reason took my durum away, but the other guy beside the counter explained him that the price is indeed 8.50€ and I paid the right price. It’s not a big deal over those 50 cents, but the service that’s being provided is terrible. Durum is good though.

I've visited many kebab shops, but this one really exceeds all expectations! From the moment I entered the store I felt welcome and cared for. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, and you can immediately tell that they put their heart and soul into their work. The kebab itself is a real taste explosion! The meat is juicy and perfectly seasoned, the bread is fresh and crunchy, and the selection of fresh, crisp salads and homemade sauces is simply unbeatable. Every bite is a pleasure and you can feel the high quality of the ingredients. I also find the cleanliness and the loving furnishings of the store particularly impressive. Every detail has been thought of here to offer guests an unforgettable dining experience. I can highly recommend this kebab shop to everyone. Whether for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner with friends - every visit here will be a highlight. Five stars are actually not enough for this culinary masterpiece!

Small but nice kebab shop, among other things. I deliberately ordered kebab there to take away and I'm very impressed. I was served friendly. Very friendly shop owners and quite clean bistro. At €7, the kebab isn't exactly cheap, but it's certainly convincing. The bread is nice and crispy and the vegetables are fresh and decently sliced. The meat is of good quality. The sauces are standard but ok, there was just a little too much sauce on them.

Very tasty kebab. I've actually tried a lot of them. But I like it best at SamSam Bistro. The guys there are super nice. Everything is clean. Only recommended.

Absolute insider tip: yellow rice!!! But the Dürüm (without s☝️😄) are also super tasty. Nice service, nice staff.

The kebab now only consists of shredded cabbage, onions and dry meat. Unfortunately, you won't find the usual fresh herbs, cucumbers or tomatoes. Unfortunately too expensive for seven euros, although the service and cleanliness are positive.

Super sauber sehr nett ,super lecker Döner unglaublich lecker Salat und soßen beste Qualität das schmeckt so gut sodass ich das jeden Tag essen könnte, Bester Döner in Leipzig ich komme nur noch hierher!!.

Es waren im Laden 30 Fliegen uns locker 10 lebten im Salat.Es ist bisschen Dreckig und der Besitzer versteht meine Bestellung nicht obwohl ich und freund es durch gehend wiederholt haben.Es war ein durschnittsdöner,aber vom Preis bisschen teuer

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und flexibel, das Essen ist sehr lecker. Als Stammkunde gebe ich als kleines Dankeschön gerne eine hohe Bewertung ab. Viel Erfolg! 🍀

Hühnchendöner mit Halloumi, ohne Scharf Das Fladenbrot hat gut geschmeckt, war ganz durchschnittlich. Das Fleisch fand ich auch okay, wenn es auch etwas mehr durch sein könnte. Der Salat hingegen war nicht so frisch, die Soßen auch, die waren auch teilweise übersüßt. Selbst die Halloumi waren nicht so groß und ziemlich trocken. Da konnte der Preis von 6€ normal und 7€ mit Halloumi auch nichts ändern, ich hätte dafür eher 4,50 € bezahlt.

Der Dönerladen im Moritzhof ist eigentlich mein Lieblingsdöner, immer freundliches Personal, der Laden immer sauber, die Zutaten immer frisch. Nur ist mir aufgefallen dass die Döner am Mittag dünner sind als die am Abend, wahrscheinlich weil das Gemüse weg muss, deshalb von mir leider nur 4 Sterne

Döner schmeckt immer gut, man wird immer satt und komme regelmäßig seit Jahren hier hin. Einer der besten Döner der Stadt. Und die Leute sind immer freundlich :)

Ich hol mir da öfter mal nen Döner und muss sagen, das der echt der Beste Döner ist, den du in Leipzig finden kannst. Klar gibt es mal Unterschiede, fällt aber nich ins Gewicht. Der Laden ist sauber, die Auswahl ist gut, die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und der Preis ist auch Super, wenn man mit anderen vergleicht.

My friend and I spent an Erasmus year in the hall of residence next to this restaurant, that was 6 years ago and we still think fondly of this bistro. We still keep the food in our memories because it was amazing and the owner always greeted us in Spanish and made us feel most welcome. We really wish him all the best
