I ordered by phone. Food wasn't even in the oven when I arrived 20 minutes later. The gyro meat was disgusting. Partly not through. The rest is tough… way too expensive. Employees were nice. But don't eat there again.

Five of us ate here today and it tasted great, we had the special plate, Schnitzel Jäger style, tuna salad, etc. Everything was super tasty and large portions, we had to have the rest packed up. It's a shame we didn't find this place sooner, we're traveling on tomorrow

Super tasty food and good portions

Unfortunately the gyros was very dry and not cross. However, the side dishes and salad were very tasty. The service was also very courteous and friendly.

Excellent quality and fair prices for over 10 years. The portions are very large and you are guaranteed to be full. 5 Stars!

Greek restaurant in/near Meppen. Nice meal. Tasty large portion of fresh salad with dressing. Meat was a generous portion and nicely cooked. Fries were good and the menu options are also fine. I had a mixed grill kind of. And I had a delicious meal there. There are also children's menus. The tzaksiki sauce is excellent. And the beer is also great. Price-quality is more than sufficient. Very child friendly. High chair and a lollipop when leaving. The business does not have a card and payment must be made in cash. However, there is an ATM on the same street. Once you've finished your shopping in Germany, this is a good opportunity to drop by.

Very friendly staff and very, very tasty food.

We have been loyal guests until now, but that is now changing. The last 3 visits briefly described: 7 weeks ago: Gyros wasn't as good as usual. Lots of fat and dry. The rest is ok. 4 weeks ago: Ouzo plate for my wife and me. The food went like this, except for the gyros. Again a lot of fat and dry. The service makes you feel like you don't actually feel like working at all. Last week!!! Gyros pita to go. The gyro was a disaster. We threw it away and that was it for Samos. We won't be coming back.

Delicious. However, prices have risen sharply since it opened. Nevertheless, the price-performance ratio is good.

We had a delicious meal here this week, fast service and the plate was overflowing. The only downside is that you can only pay in cash.

If you want to eat a really good gyro plate, this is the place for you! Friendly and fast staff! Always my pleasure.

The food was actually always very good and tasty, what really bothers me is the constant price increases, other locals don't do it either or don't do it to the same extreme as samos Meppen and why can't you still pay with a debit card??? Which should probably be standard by now.

Small restaurant with a winter garden. Very nice and courteous staff. The portions are large, but you can also get them in small ones. All very tasty. The price-performance ratio is more than good. There's even a Quzo after dinner... Thanks !!!

Great case, although small but fortunately refined

Price-quality is really great. You really get a lot of food. Never anything to complain about the food! But don't expect a chic, modern, attractive restaurant. Not all service staff are as hospitable as you expect, but they are hard workers. We have been going for years, and will continue to do so for years to come.

dit kleine restaurant is groot in zijn kwaliteit en kwantiteit. heerlijk gekruid vlees, lekkere pommes, en tzaziki bij je eten. Heerlijk eten en VEEL!!!!! de bier was ook goed. als ik weer op de hoogte van Hardenberg ben ik Nederland, ga ik toch weer naar Samos, in de Marienstrasse 2 40715 Meppen. een klein stukje omrijden voor een groot bord met overheerlijk voedsel!!Montag Ruhetag. Open vanaf half 12 voor de lunch.

Fine Greek Grill just across the border in Meppen (DE). We ate there with about 12 people, but the service was fast and if something was misunderstood it was immediately resolved without any problem! The quality of the food was excellent and more than I could eat and for a price that you no longer find in the Netherlands!!

Food made you want to vomit, ordered rice and got fries. Currywurst literally tastes like pork ass, curry sauce is extremely sweet. Gyros unfortunately not noticeably dry. Suflaki unfortunately also dry and tough

We regularly get food from Samos. We have always been very, very satisfied so far. No. 24 again today, which suits our taste best. Unfortunately we are not at all satisfied today. Gyros cold, schnitzel not definable, the skewers very dry and tough, the rice completely without taste. The Zatzicki and the salad were ok. But otherwise just underground. Then there was the questionable reaction to my question as to why the dishes in Lingen are sometimes €2 cheaper. I'd rather not ask why card payments aren't possible. Conclusion: After years of satisfaction, we are very disappointed for the first time.

I would give no star if possible! Old meat, store-bought ready-made salad and soggy fries are served cold... For dessert there is a stomach ache... The only thing that was OK was the cola!!!

Gyros to take away unfortunately a bad surprise... only small pieces not freshly cut and dry. Unfortunately we only noticed it when we got home. The way back to complain directly was too far for us. Maybe the food on site is better otherwise I can't explain the good reviews. It's a shame.

Sehr lecker, nettes Personal, Preise und Speisen passen super zusammen.

Super Essen, faire Preise, guter Service. Bestellung nach kurzer Zeit zum Abholen bereit. Alles in Allem eine echte Empfehlung.

Sind seit Jahren gerne hier bzw. holen das Essen ab. Die Qualität ist super, wenngleich leider häufig bei der Bestellung etwas "falsch" läuft. Bestellung ohne Zwiebeln klappt zu 90% nicht ;) trotzdem sehr zu empfehlen. Portionen sind super und das Essen allgemein lecker.

Sfeer krijgt 4 sterren omdat er weinig plek om te zitten is. De Service is heel erg goed, goede bediening en ondanks de weinig zitplek proberen ze je wel zo snel mogelijk aan een plek te helpen. Het eten is super, al vond ik de suzuki persoonlijk erg droog. Ik had de spezial teller.

Heerlijk gegeten. Hele grote porties voor weinig geld. Vlees is zeer goed, totaal niet vet. Je kan alleen contant betalen, niet met de kaart.

Schnuckeliges Restaurant mit einem Wintergarten im Außenbereich. Zuvorkommendes und sehr nettes Personal. Sehr leckeres Essen und große Portionen. Alles in allem hatten wir einen sehr schönen Abend.

Sehr lecker und schnell am Tisch. Portionen wirklich groß und nicht überteuert. Netter Service, Ambiente ganz nett ist halt ein Imbiss. Gerne wieder.

Seit nun mehr als 11 Jahren holen wir hier unser Essen und ich muss die Jungs wirklich loben. Egal ob man das Essen holt oder vor Ort isst, die Qualität ist seit über 1 Jahrzehnt die gleiche. Ich kenne nur ein Restaurant wo die Gerichte noch genauso lecker schmecken wie damals und das seid ihr :) . Bleibt so wie ihr seid!

Immer wieder sehr gut. Preis Leistung ist einfach hervorragend. Ich war jetzt nach zwei Jahren wieder dort, und ich bin immer noch begeistert.

Echt heel lekker gegeten. Ik zou er weer zo naar toe gaan. De menukaart is wat veranderd qua prijzen, dus daar zal ik foto's van plaatsen. Evengoed zeer goed gegeten voor een hele schappelijke prijs. Wij waren €42,30 kwijt voor 2 maaltijden, 1 grote cola en 2 Samos wijn. Mijn foto's worden niet toegelaten. Weet niet waarom. De prijzen op de foto van de menukaart die wel ergens hier staat, kloppen niet meer. Bijvoorbeeld is de Samos schotel voor 2 personen geen €25 meer, maar €33.

Schmeckt sehr lecker, der Preis ist auch ok, da die Teller sehr gut gefüllt werden. Zur Rechnung gibt es meinstens noch einen Ouzo. Der Laden ist fast immer voll, zumindest zu den Stoßzeiten. Sitzmöglichkeiten gibt es innen und außen im Wintergarten

Telkens fijn om te komen, heerlijk eten, vriendelijke mensen en een redelijke prijs.

Lekker gegeten op een rustig terras. Het eten was eenvoudig maar zeer goed van kwaliteit en smaak. Ook de hoeveelheid was ruim voldoende. Goed eten voor een prima prijs. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug

Wij komen vanaf het begin af aan bij Samos. Je kreeg er altijd heerlijke knappende gyros met een bruin randje voor een fantastische prijs, Goedkoop kun je het nu niet meer noemen, de prijzen zijn met circa 3 euro verhoogd. Maar wat nog veel erger is, de kwaliteit klopt niet meer. Het is net of je geperste kippenvlees krijgt met gyroskruiden. Wanneer de kwaliteit nog dezelfde was geweest, was de nieuwe prijs niet eens een obstakel geweest. Ik sprak een kennis die ook reeds vele jaren bij Samos kwam. Ook hij gaf aan er niet meer te komen i.v.m. de teleurstellende kwaliteit. En wanneer kwaliteit/prijs niet meer in verhouding staan, verlies je klanten.

Meerdere keren geweest en gegeten. Super fijn eten. Lekker snel klaar. En voor een keurige prijs. Samos bedankt ! Wie vorher: immer gut!

We komen hier regelmatig en het is hier gewoon altijd goed. Geen taai vlees of slappe patat, gewoon nog nooit gehad in al die jaren. Lekker biertje en groentes altijd vers. Samengevat is het altijd goed en lekker en nooit duur.

lekker giros met patat/rijst en salade gegeten.. tzaziki is ook heerlijk.. super snel en goede service. we komen zeker nog terug. p.s. ze zijn ook lekker goedkoop!

Waren gegen Mittag da und haben schön im Aussenbereich gesessen. War schön warm trotz der Aussentemeraturen und Dank dem Heizstrahler. Haben uns Gyros gross und klein bestellt mit doppel Tzaziki mit lecker Pommes. Personal war sehr Freundlich. Getränke kamen recht Schnell. Das erste was meinem Brüderchen aufgefallen ist, das der Gyros leider etwas trocken war. Leider hatte er Recht. Mit Tzaziki geht es dann wieder und den vielen Zwiebeln. Finde es war früher Besser als das Geschäft eröffnet wurde. Pommes waren okay wie immer. Rechnung mit 35.70€ mit doppelt Getränke fanden wir etwas hoch denn meine Frau hatte Gyros Teller mit Salat aber ohne Pommes. 2 Wasser und 4 Cola 12 € . Ja nun ist halt so. Sind nicht so Oft da. Im grossen und ganzen Preis/Leistung stimmt. Und wer da nicht Satt wird ist selber Schuld.

Essen ist sehr lecker und die Portionen groß. Für mich der beste Imbiss-Grieche im Umkreis von 30 km.

Grieks eten met Duitse gastvrijheid. Druk, zeker als vele afhalers ook lekker willen eten rond een uur of zes. Maar van een maaltijd genieten terwijl er zichtbaar hard gewerkt wordt in de keuken, heeft ook wel wat. Verse groente, heerlijke patat en rijst, lekkere bifteki en suvlaki met een goed glas bier. Wat wil een mens eigenlijk nog meer... Wel contant betalen overigens, de beurs over de kop en er bleek 80 cent te weinig. De gezelllige gastvrouw vond het geen probleem. Aangezien we vaak in Meppen komen hebben we welgemeend afscheid genomen met 'wir kommen mal wieder'.
