The best kebab in Meppen. The meat is delicious. The fries are the same. The sauce is the best in the world.

We ate here around 8pm, the food was good, the only downside was that we wanted to sit outside on the covered terrace because it was too cold inside, but because we were with our baby we sat near the door which was constantly left open, keep in mind it's cash only

The food is always great. The people are always very nice. Everything's good 👍 It's just very strange that you can only pay in cash. And the constant price increases. Especially when a dish suddenly costs 50 percent more and you're told it's because of the VAT... If you can do math... Oh well. But otherwise, everything is excellent!

--- ⭐☆☆☆☆ We ate at the Samos restaurant in Meppen – the food was okay, but unfortunately, the visit left a bitter aftertaste. Some guests were offered ouzo at the end, while others (like us) weren't. I find that quite a shame and, to be honest, a bit rude, especially when you spend around €40 there – as in our case. A small glass of ouzo used to be part of good Greek service. It's truly sad that this hospitality apparently no longer applies to everyone.

After lunch, many restaurants close until the evening, but Samos Grill is open all afternoon. The restaurant is about a kilometer outside the center of Meppen. It's not large, but everything looks fresh and colorful. The menu features the usual selection of Greek dishes. I had a large gyros and my wife had bifteki, which came with fries and extra tzakziti. We were served generous portions, including a 0.4-liter glass of Krombacher pilsner. It was very good; the gyros were nicely crispy. A generous bowl of extra tzakziti. The bifteki was also delicious. All this for less than 42 euros. The restaurant also has a conservatory and a beer garden. What I missed was the glass of ouzo that you often get beforehand when visiting "De Griek." Otherwise, the service was good and prompt.

Five of us ate here today and it tasted great, we had the special plate, Schnitzel Jäger style, tuna salad, etc. Everything was super tasty and large portions, we had to have the rest packed up. It's a shame we didn't find this place sooner, we're traveling on tomorrow

Greek restaurant in/near Meppen. Nice meal. Tasty large portion of fresh salad with dressing. Meat was a generous portion and nicely cooked. Fries were good and the menu options are also fine. I had a mixed grill kind of. And I had a delicious meal there. There are also children's menus. The tzaksiki sauce is excellent. And the beer is also great. Price-quality is more than sufficient. Very child friendly. High chair and a lollipop when leaving. The business does not have a card and payment must be made in cash. However, there is an ATM on the same street. Once you've finished your shopping in Germany, this is a good opportunity to drop by.

The food was actually always very good and tasty, what really bothers me is the constant price increases, other locals don't do it either or don't do it to the same extreme as samos Meppen and why can't you still pay with a debit card??? Which should probably be standard by now.

Price-quality is really great. You really get a lot of food. Never anything to complain about the food! But don't expect a chic, modern, attractive restaurant. Not all service staff are as hospitable as you expect, but they are hard workers. We have been going for years, and will continue to do so for years to come.

dit kleine restaurant is groot in zijn kwaliteit en kwantiteit. heerlijk gekruid vlees, lekkere pommes, en tzaziki bij je eten. Heerlijk eten en VEEL!!!!! de bier was ook goed. als ik weer op de hoogte van Hardenberg ben ik Nederland, ga ik toch weer naar Samos, in de Marienstrasse 2 40715 Meppen. een klein stukje omrijden voor een groot bord met overheerlijk voedsel!!Montag Ruhetag. Open vanaf half 12 voor de lunch.

Fine Greek Grill just across the border in Meppen (DE). We ate there with about 12 people, but the service was fast and if something was misunderstood it was immediately resolved without any problem! The quality of the food was excellent and more than I could eat and for a price that you no longer find in the Netherlands!!
