A definite recommendation for Restaurant Delphi in Meppen! We had a wonderful evening at Delphi. The beautiful and cozy atmosphere is immediately appealing upon arrival, making you feel right at home. The staff is consistently friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food was outstanding. We've rarely had such good Greek food. The dish topped with Metaxa was a particular highlight and absolutely delicious. It was accompanied by a freshly tapped Königs Pilsener, which paired perfectly with the meal. To finish, I had an iced coffee, which was just as impressive as everything else. Truly excellent and the perfect end to the evening. The restrooms are also very well-maintained, which perfectly complements the overall high-quality impression. The owners are incredibly friendly and create an atmosphere where you feel completely welcome. We will definitely be back!

As a tourist in beautiful Meppen, you'll inevitably end up at Delphi at some point. The food is good, wine lovers will be delighted, and the service is attentive and friendly. And when it gets dark and the streets are quiet, you can sit outside, enjoy a glass of Greek red wine with a cigarette, and soak up the wonderful atmosphere around the Meppen market.

My friend came all the way from Norway, on a bike, only to try the Deniz Undav meal. Then he was told the kitchen was closed... I submit to you: A restaurant without a kitchen is not a restaurant.

I ate there on Tuesday evening. Due to the good weather, I sat in the beer garden. As a single person without a reservation, it was no problem. For larger groups, a reservation is recommended. The food was truly excellent. I had a Meppen platter, which was excellent. I had a Kellerbier, which was also delicious. As a welcome drink, I was offered an ouzo. The side salad was very good. I highly recommend this restaurant. Typical Greek cuisine. I'd gladly go back.

We weren't satisfied! My salad was drenched in dressing, and the meat was dry. My husband had barely finished his plate when it was cleared away. When it came to paying, the people on the street were more important than us! Very disappointing.

The Delphi restaurant in Meppen offers Greek and international dishes. We were there at lunchtime and had dishes from the lunch menu. The food was delicious and reasonably priced for the lunch menu. There was plenty of outdoor seating, and we were able to enjoy our meal in a quiet atmosphere. I would go there again.

We sat here on May 31, 2025, based on a recommendation, and had a very good meal! The Medusa salad was truly delicious, as was the Gigantes lamb shank. I personally found the €5.90 price for half a dark wheat beer a bit excessive! The service was friendly, and the owner even asked if we liked the food. The value for money was definitely good. We highly recommend it.

The rice wasn't even cooked through, and then the owner wanted to argue with us, which is unacceptable. On the plus side, the waitress was nice and apologized, but she wasn't the one who did it. We returned to the hotel hungry.

This is my third time here now. I've had the bifteki twice, and today is almost my third. I decided to go for the vegan platter. Honestly, it was the best thing I've ever eaten in a Greek restaurant. Very varied and delicious. I'll definitely be back on my next business trip to Meppen.

Delphi Meppen has an impressive selection of dishes, extremely attentive service and a relaxed atmosphere, so we didn't regret the decision to go to Meppen and dine here. We can only recommend it.

If you want to have a cozy and tasty meal in a nice atmosphere, go to Delphi. The pork loins with feta cheese and broccoli were very tasty. The gyros gratinated in Metaxa sauce was also very good. We can highly recommend both with a glass of red wine.

Price-performance ratio borderline. A styrofoam pack was charged €1. Meat good, fries not. Service was friendly, but we were charged one drink too much. Has been corrected. You didn't feel welcome as a guest from the boss.

We spontaneously got a table on New Year's Eve and were impressed by the very high quality food. The staff was very friendly and the place was very clean.

The food was cold and not seasoned at all. Some of the staff were very unfriendly. After I said that I had ordered fries instead of rice, a few minutes later the fries were slammed on the table and said if I was finally at peace. When I asked why I was being served so unfriendly, the answer was that I should be quiet would have finally received my fries. The restaurant was not very busy at that time, so this behavior on the part of the staff cannot be attributed to stress. We will definitely not visit this restaurant again. We had dinner in the restaurant with a larger group. It's understandable that there's a lot going on during the Christmas season. But still some things happened that I couldn't accept. A spilled beer on my colleague. When a meal was brought incorrectly, the boss personally accused me of ordering it incorrectly! The waiting time for food after 8 p.m. is very long and we only finished eating at 11:10 p.m. The wrongly ordered Bifteki was ok, not so juicy, there are better ones in Meppen. The fries not much. I won't eat here anymore. Too bad

The quality of the food is good. The salad beforehand is delicious. The quantity of the food is not much but enough, which is surprising considering the price is reasonable. The service and atmosphere of the restaurant are good. The Irish Coffee has a good price but really lacks the bite of an espresso in combination with the whisky.

Service and ambience are great. Only the food wasn't the burner. I had the gyros, the meat was way too dry and had no particular taste. The rice didn't taste like anything and the tzatziki didn't really taste good either. For €20 I would have gotten twice as much at the snack bar next door and it would have been tasty too.

Intrusive employees, food is clearly frozen goods and not fresh! The advertised 5€ if you are a guest in the hotel nearby are simply poorly marketed and are presented as a great restaurant even though it should be called a snack bar, but the prices make you wonder what you actually get for your money even though it is It shouldn't even be offered for 1/4 of the price given the quality, it definitely doesn't have my recommendation!

But what we find really strange is that the owner is sitting on the terrace smoking while his customers are trying to enjoy the food. I've eaten there several times and when it comes to service, I don't know much better than this place. An example: A Tuesday evening, 6:30 p.m. and a wonderful summer evening. Outdoor terrace 95% full. A couple with a dog comes and sits down, about 2 minutes later the dog gets a bowl of water. Second example: A guest sits down at the table, 1min. later he is greeted, after 2 minutes. he has the menu…and after 5 minutes. his first drink. We noticed the same thing at our table. Dear would-be gastronomy know-it-alls, I can tell you one thing: If there is such service, such quality and such occupancy everywhere, a gastronomy can only be OUTSTANDING, so dear Google users: rate fairly, wisely and always only as much as you like thinks he has an idea. And something else: Giving 4 stars with the words: Everything was great, I can't understand it. We visited the restaurant based on the good reviews and were disappointed. The waitress seemed a bit unfriendly at times, especially when we pointed out that the food had been delivered incorrectly. The normal gyro was dry and very little tzatziki was served with it. Of course you could for €7.50!!!! Order a portion of tzatziki with it. I can't say how big this is. The gyros with Metaxa sauce was delicious. My conclusion: Due to the poor price-performance ratio, I cannot recommend the restaurant.
