The store is completely overwhelmed. There wasn't half the menu. We made a special reservation and there were no tacos or burritos. “Were not delivered”. That was actually the reason why we wanted to go to the Mexican restaurant... At times we weren't allowed to order because the kitchen was overloaded. Eternal waiting times for the main courses. Conclusion: Disappointing

I was pleasantly surprised, I have often had negative experiences with the service in the past, they simply weren't present enough. But last time it was exactly the opposite. The service was extremely good.

This is supposedly a Mexican restaurant but the food had nothing to do with Mexico: the burritos are served with what is probably tinned coleslaw on the side. The filling is only meat with plain tomatoes (2 or three pieces): no rice, no beans, no pico de gallo, no guacamole… the Jalapeños were also some kind of tinned affair. No salsa in 100000 miles… The kids menu “potatoes with applesauce” was some fried rösti affair with canned applesauce, served with watermelon and sprinkled with !!!powdered sugar!!! If you want to put your kids on the road to obesity, that’s the way to go. Rostock is not the most happening place and the staff were friendly but come on…

Good food, great cocktails and day specials 😊 staff is friendly and the restaurant has a good atmosphere. Unfortunately they've changed staff and we had a bad experience where we were told to choose any table outside, then they said no not that table, and put us next to smokers and gave us no other options. So we just left 🤷‍♂️

We reserved a table in advance and apparently it was necessary. Full on a Saturday, but not too long of a wait and the staff were friendly and prompt.

The restaurant offers a fantastic ambience with vibrant colors and charming decorations. The waiters are friendly, courteous and extremely attentive, making the visit a real pleasure. The food is tasty, even if it doesn't quite meet the traditional Mexican taste and could be a bit more fiery for my taste. Nevertheless, the excellent service and wonderful ambience make the restaurant definitely worth a visit.

Wouldn't eat there again. We had the enchiladas con pollo and the chicken breast. The enchiladas tasted like tuna instead of chicken. The chicken breast was dry, not worth the price. In addition, the pineapple that was on the glass as a decoration was already moldy. Despite complaining about this, no compensation or apology. We both come from the catering industry and something like that just doesn't work.

Yes, well, I wasn't particularly impressed with the restaurant. Every spot or corner is packed to attract as many customers as possible. We waited 2 hours for our food. Which didn't really throw me off my chair, because the plates are laid out very carelessly and it takes a lot of effort. The cocktails weren't great either. BUT we don't want to complain about everything. The condition was awesome. Very nice and very accommodating. But should anything really change?

The food itself was very tasty. Big deduction for waiting times of 1 hour! In addition, the staff didn't even ask you if everything was okay or if you'd like something more to drink, for example. Service is zero. When leaving, you saw a sign indicating a lack of staff and asking for patience due to longer waiting times. In this situation, in my opinion, you cannot allow the restaurant to be fully occupied but would therefore have to leave out tables.

I was there last time with my father and my sister; it was my first time eating at a Mexican restaurant. When you first stepped into the restaurant, the ambience was immediately convincing; the atmosphere and the smell were simply great. The service was really great, fast and friendly despite the fact that it was completely full. I also had the impression that the team worked very well together and everyone got along well, which further enhanced the atmosphere. Here you could really let go of everyday life and treat yourself to a little holiday feeling. And of course the most important thing, it really tasted great I will eat there more often, clear recommendation!

Service is very friendly. The ribs are delicious, but otherwise many of the dishes are very simple and can only be recommended to a limited extent. You can also have a good drink in a pleasant atmosphere at fair prices.

Super tolle Location. Heute Montag lecker Rippchen. Super Kellner namens Thomas, sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Mitarbeiter. Es war ein gelungener Abend. Reservierung von Herrn Jürss war okay. Very nice location with excellent service and even better food. Daily offers such as steak day or happy hour with cocktails make a visit a pleasure.

Hardworking and friendly staff. The food is very good. After our first and then second visit, the restaurant became No. 1 in Rostock for us. With the next visit to Rostock we know where we are going to eat.

Food was very tasty. However, the service ruined everything. The women who served were very nice and accommodating. However, the waiter with the tattoos is unacceptable. Pours coke on me and you don't get more than an apology (the coke he knocked over wasn't replaced). Afterwards I put away the candle that was in the way and was immediately warned by him that the candle costs €8 and I should leave it alone (in a rude tone, like a senior teacher). That was extremely unpleasant and also completely inappropriate... everyone at the table didn't understand it either. Mishaps happen, but then I expect redemption. But on the contrary, the candle went one better... I'm very angry about that

Traveled an extra 1.5 hours because we always had a good experience. Happy to reserve a table again today. Arrived 5 minutes before reservation and opening. Door was open, normally employed and waiting to be assigned a table. Instead, the blatant setback: you are shouted at sharply throughout the store that it is still closed and you should get out. Everything outside was full of people who already had a ticket. Completely astonished and outraged by the unfriendly rejection, we and others left the restaurant and will not make the journey again. Reservation canceled straight away and off to a restaurant where the guest is valued. The staff shortage will not be without reason

Service is nice but unfortunately the food isn't particularly good. Anyone who has ever eaten real Mexican food will probably be a little disappointed. Dishes are carelessly prepared, ingredients have little taste and the hot sauce dominates everything.

Operation was on point at the beginning. But it diminished significantly over the course of the evening. We had to wait 1.5 hours for the food. The reason was they had so much to do in out-of-home deliveries. FIRST THE CUSTOMER IN THE RESTAURANT and then the delivery service - that should be the order, I think. Oh well, I ordered a cocktail and got the wrong one. Sent him back. The bartender wasn't amused, he also sent us dirty looks. I also poured it down the drain quite sourly. Then we got the right one, but it felt like it had twice the amount of alcohol in it. Otherwise that was it Ambience great, the music adapted to the restaurant is Mexican. Food was delicious.😊

1,5 Stunden auf Essen warten müssen nach Bestellung im Restaurant weil soviel Lieferbestellungen waren. Ich bin ja der Meinung erst den Gästen im Restaurant das Essen auf den Tisch bringen und dann die Ausserhauskunden beliefern!!! Uns wurde ein falscher Cocktail gebracht, haben ihn zurück gehen lassen. Der Barmixer war nicht amused darüber. Kippte ihn mit grimmigen Miene in den Ausguss und warf uns noch einen bösen Blick rüber. Der richtige Cocktail enthielt dann wohl die doppelte Menge Alkohol. Schmeckte jedenfalls so. Ansonsten, das Essen war lecker. Fand es auch gut, dass Musik passend zum Restaurant gespielt wurde. ☺️

The wrong food was brought and was casually dismissed. No apology, even with the addition of new food it would take a while... it was already covered during the meal, a request that this only be done after the meal was finished was still bitterly discussed, service can still be trained, a shame, not guest-oriented. My husband and I went to a Mexican restaurant in Hamburg on the occasion of our wedding anniversary. We were so disappointed that we tried the salsarico in Rostock today. We ordered nachos, a burrito, tacos and enchiladas. In addition to the European-inspired dishes, there were also authentic dishes. We can particularly recommend the enchiladas and compare them with real Mexican street food. Despite the restaurant being full, the service was top and always friendly. We'd love to come back.

Despite reservations, we got a very small table right at the entrance. After asking for a better table, we were offered a high table that had far too little space for us (3 people). We were really looking forward to the meal and think it's a shame that we were only offered such a poor environment. We then left the restaurant and ate somewhere else…

Was here on Saturday with a few friends. As soon as I entered the restaurant I got an unpleasant impression of the smell of old smoke and unkemptness. Unfortunately, this was only confirmed when we saw the stained upholstery. Otherwise the decoration is quite original and quaint. The menu was suspiciously diverse. To be fair, it was very busy. So we had to wait 1.5 hours for our food. Unfortunately the wait wasn't worth it. My vegetarian tacos were edible, but I can't recommend them (bland taste). My companion also had a vegetarian dish that wasn't convincing. I can prepare this better myself. Luckily the prices were really humane. Nevertheless, something needs to be improved when it comes to smell, cleanliness and food.

Cool Mexican restaurant in northern Germany. I recommend the BBQ ribs and kartofelspiralen with spicy sauce, it's the bomb. Make sure to catch a cocktail hour to get a discount on all cocktails. Special thanks to the bartender for the excellent Margarita

The two of us were there on Friday evening and were very satisfied. It was very crowded, but we didn't have to wait long for our food or drinks. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was very tasty and fresh. Gladly again.

Gehen seid Jahren dorthin.waren oft und gerne da. War aber diesmal das letzte Mal! Nachdem wir nach 2 1/2 Stunden rausgeschmissen wurden! Hatten wir noch nie,kennen wir auch nicht so! Wir wurden 10 Minuten vorher in Kenntnis gesetzt das der Tisch ab 21 Uhr für die nächsten reserviert ist, fünf Minuten Nachdem wir eine große Bestellung aufgeben hatten! Wir wurden auch nicht darüber in Kenntnis gesetzt als wir angerufen und reserviert hatten! Wir haben 250€ da gelassen und es wäre noch mehr geworden aber wenn man seine Kunden so vergrault dann bekommt man halt nichts mehr von uns. Pech gehabt. Wir suchen uns jetzt ein anderes Stammlokal 😝

Wir waren an einem Montag dort. Die Rippchen sind sehr gut man kann zwischen 2 Sorten auswählen.

Es war wieder ein sehr schöner Abend im Salsarico, sehr gutes Essen zu fairen Preisen, freundliches und flottes Personal, wir werden bestimmt bald wieder vorbei kommen.

Ich war zum ersten mal in diesem Ambiente, super angenehm eingerichtet und das Essen war schmackhaft. :)

Gutes Essen zu erschwinglichen Preisen. Die Portionen sind völlig in Ordnung. Das Happy Hours Angebot wird gut angenommen und wurde für gut befunden 😁. Ich selbst habe es nicht genutzt.

Reservierung ist sehr angeraten, gerade am Wochenende. Das Essen ist lecker und die Portionen ausreichend. Dass Mayo und Ketchup extra berechnet werden, finde ich allerdings etwas kleinlich. Das Restaurant ist gut besucht und gemütlich. Der Service war allerdings verbesserungswürdig. Wir haben lange warten müssen, um zu bestellen und auch um zu zahlen mussten wir warten. Fazit: wir kommen wieder, aber nicht unbedingt an einem Samstag Abend

Nach Ablauf unser gebuchten und "zugestandenen" Zeit (am 1. Weihnachtsmarktsamstag) wurde durch die sehr netten Servicekräfte eine Möglichkeit geschaffen, den schönen Abend an einem anderen Tisch ausklingen zu lassen. Danke an die Mitarbeiter vom Salsarico! Essen, Service super. Die gesamte Bestellung war in höchsten 20 Minuten da und so warm, das ich bis zum Ende kein kaltes Essen auf dem Teller hatte. Das Licht an den Tischen ist eher schlecht. Zum Karte lesen Kopflampe 🤪 oder Handy nutzen. Cocktails sehr lecker und von 17:00 - 19:00 noch besser, da zum halben Preis 🤣. Tischvorbestellung nötig, da sehr gut besucht. Ist auch kein Wunder, wer schon mal da war, der weiß was ich meine.

Die Cocktail Hour war toll und die Wings sind mega lecker

Die Bedienung /die Mitarbeiter waren allesamt sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und kompetent. Trotzt des online Hinweis und auch des Schildes am Eingang, dass es zu längeren Wartezeiten kommen kann, wurden wir sofort bedient und mussten nicht lange auf unser Essen warten, alles in allem wurden wir sehr zügig bedient. Das Essen war reichhaltig, gute Qualität, gute Portionsgrößen, schön angerichtet und geschmacklich top. Preis/Leistung stimmt. Das Ambiente ist passend, besonders zur Halloween Zeit nochmal extra spannend. Definitiv zu empfehlen!

Super Restaurant und leckeres Essen

Sehr blickige und freundliche Bedienung, die weiß was sie tut. Das Essen war lecker und nicht teuer. Warme Speisen gibt es noch zu späten Stunden. Es gibt viel Auswahl, auch an Getränken. Scheinbar gibt es coole Aktionstage. Wäre ich öfter in Rostock, wäre ich hier sicherlich häufiger mal zu Gast.

Vielen Dank für den wundervollen Abend.Das Personal super höflich zu allen Gästen.Wir haben ausnahmslos in fröhliche Gesichter geschaut.Essen super, vielen Dank auch an die Küche.Die Terasse sehr gepflegt, ich habe kein Unkraut oder Abfall auf dem Boden entdeckt.Es freut mich riesig so viel Jugend auf einmal erleben zu dürfen, die offensichtlich noch wissen was Service bedeutet. Haben jetzt zwei Mal hintereinander einen Reinfall erlebt. Neulich per Lieferservice bestellt und per paypal bezahlt, Bestellung wurde storniert und nichts wurde geliefert. Heute zum Abholen bestellt und per Barzahlung, Bestellung wurde bestätigt, aber vor Ort war niemand? Sind gefrustet, online sind keine Hinweise zu finden. Was ist da los?
