Salli‘s Kebap & Grill in Hamburg

I was looking forward to the vegan çiğ köfte, but was then disappointed. For €6.50, you get a very small portion: a few slices of çiğ köfte, very little salad, some carrot, and a piece of lemon. The taste was okay, but the price-performance ratio isn't right for me. It's a shame, because the vegan options otherwise seem good; this portion, however, is far too small.

Not recommended. The chicken is cut raw, unseasoned, and contains cartilage. At these prices, you expect more...

A very, very bad experience! First of all, the service was rude. Secondly, half the meat was raw, which is absolutely unacceptable. I will never visit this restaurant again and cannot recommend it.

Very unfriendly and unprofessional staff. You have to watch out every time that the meat isn't cut into a rose-shaped piece where the juices are still running off, just to speed things up. Some employees don't care whether you can eat it or not, as long as it's finished... Simply awful people... this is the third time already... and they're even more unfriendly if you don't tip...

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the majority here: the kebab wasn't good, and the meat is sometimes undercooked. The prices are also extremely high. I don't recommend it.

A true highlight in Altona! Sallis is my absolute number one when it comes to doner kebabs. The meat is incredibly tender and flavorful, the sauces are perfectly balanced, and the portions are more than generous. Everything tastes fresh and is prepared with love – no comparison to your average fast-food joint. The team is also super friendly and makes you feel right at home. I've tried many doner kebabs, but Sallis really sets a new standard. I wholeheartedly recommend it – everything here is just right! 🌯🔥👏

The roast chicken was bone dry. The counters were filthy. The staff was reluctant to even give a simple answer.

They are unhygienic and very rude people

The doner kebab was 80% vegetables. And that for a price of €8.50. On top of that, the meat was cut off without browning, and who would have thought that the meat would still be raw. We're talking about chicken here!!! Then I spoke to the employee about it, and he and his colleague didn't even want to acknowledge the mistake and said it was normal! If that were normal, the shop would no longer be allowed to sell chicken like that in Germany. The shop is grossly negligent with the health of its customers. On top of that, the employee filled the doner kebab, and after handing it to me, he scattered the lettuce from his glove that was still stuck to it back into the salad compartment.

I ordered a doner kebab box for €9! To go. The box was 80% salad and 20% meat (see picture). That's absolutely ridiculous for €9! The taste wasn't anything special either. Spend your money a bit further at Köz Urfa and buy a decent doner kebab there for that price.

I was here yesterday with my family shortly after midnight and had a doner kebab with pork and chicken. It was very tasty, the bread was also very crispy, everything was delicious. 👌 Greetings, going out. Doner kebab, Pepsi, Coke, Capri Sun, just under 15 euros, that's okay.

Poor value for money, poor service, quality not recommended

I went there for the first time today to eat and I treated myself to the UFO succuk... for €7.50 it said it was on a skewer but the succuk came from a can! I paid €1 more for the cheese crust but there was no trace of that or of the succuk either. The UFO was full but only had salad and hardly any sauce. I'd rather make my own salad bag! Absolutely bad, once and never again. I gave it one star because I had to but it's absolutely not worth it.

Today I tried the UFO doner for just under 8 euros, there were 5 pieces of meat in it, the rest was salad, I have never eaten such a bad doner, only given one star so that I can write a review, in reality zero stars and the food is not even worth 2 euros

I've been here several times and I've never been disappointed. They have some of the best halloumi in the area. Stable shop.

The doner meat was okay, the fries were well-seasoned, the price was relatively high, but it was really nice of the vendor to put a small sample of bulgur rice on my plate because I specifically asked if it was allowed with the doner plate. He said no, but I still got a taste.

Unfortunately, the staff were very unfriendly and difficult to understand. The doner kebab box cost a whopping €9, and half of it ended up in the trash. Some of the meat was raw, some was burnt, and the sauces were tasteless... One star is one too many, and the €9 really hurts...

Vegan doner kebab with seitan is really great!

One of the best vegan döners I’ve ever had! Highly recommended! The seitan meat was super delicious next to the toasted bread, baked vegetables, and hummus at a very good price!

The veal tastes somehow extremely sweet and totally strange. The sauces are a complete disaster. Chilli sauce is simply sweeter than ketchup. I've never eaten such a strange tasting kebab before. Somehow it tastes completely unseasoned, not like meat at the same time and so extremely sweet.

I remember having the jumbo size two years ago, and it was really delicious. I visited again because I was craving Döner after a long time. I got it as takeout and ate it at home — it was tasty and quite filling. A great meal when you’re really hungry!

Today I ate at Salli's Kebab&Grill for the second time. The last time I had a doner kebab was about a year ago and I wasn't really impressed. Today I saw that they also offer new UFO kebab, which I wanted to try anyway. Today I ordered the menu with fries and a 0.33l drink. I ordered the Ufo kebab with a cheese crust based on someone else's recommendation. As a filling I had a classic kebab, i.e. veal, salad, sauce. What the UFO kebab promised, mine didn't live up to because mine wasn't completely closed. Mine was only half closed because the bread wasn't in the tin properly when I put it in it. Unfortunately, the taste of the kebab was exactly the same as last time. The ambience was OK, the walls have signs of wear, but otherwise it was OK. The service was actually OK too. When ordering, the employee seemed a bit disorganized, probably because the UFO kebab was only offered relatively recently. Otherwise the food was brought to the table.

The halloumi pocket is fantastic. The fried vegetables are especially great. The staff are always super friendly, despite some comments here I haven't experienced anything different

Absolutely disgusting kebab! Once and never again. Anyone who goes here and thinks this is a good kebab has never had a decent kebab in their life. Mangy meat and generally just not tasty.

Sallis now also offers the UFO kebab. Very tasty and richly filled. The price corresponds to the usual kebab prices. The atmosphere of Sallis is that of a snack bar with friendly fast customer service. Wishes are taken into account. It's worth testing!

I ordered a salad that cost 8 euros but was told it was 9 euros. I don't know if it was a coincidence or if I was fooled because I looked Asian and looked like a tourist. I'd be sad if they tried to defraud me.

I ordered a kebab box from them. At first everything was good, there was meat and chips on top, but that didn't last long. After that thin layer of meat and fries, all that was left was salad! I paid €9 for a salad! I don't recommend it to anyone.

Kebab stall in Altona train station. Due to the number of people at track level, it is obviously very busy. The Dürüm was oversized, but also sporty in price for €9. I would have liked a smaller version. Unfortunately, when there is a lot of traffic, the cleanliness behind and in front of the sales counter suffers… But taste good!

The juicy tasty Donner teller, omg. The chicken tasted superb, with perfectly cooked rice and freshly cut salad with the right level of dressing and two sauces. It was on spot 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 The person on counter was very friendly and served very fast. We even tried their vegetarian kebabs, it was richtig lecker yummy. Finally I found a place to enjoy my meal in Altona. Wishing the team best, taking care of customers is important which most businesses fail here. Best wishes.

Disgusting kebab. It started when ordering, drinks are not priced on the fridge. It's actually mandatory, the basic price must also be included, but none. Ordered Lahmacun with chicken, the two were so confused that they asked several times what they wanted. Then they added up the prices. Small fries, lahmacun and cola, 16 euros... Very expensive. Fries were still frozen on the inside, just greasy on the outside and the oil was running down. Lahmacun was ice cold, the rotisserie chicken was ice cold. When he complained, he said that everything had been freshly made.... Well, take it from a Turk who just served you food with disgust... There is lots of delicious food all around. But avoid this disgusting provider

Hört mal, Leute, ich muss euch was sagen! Diese Döner-Box war der Knaller - im negativen Sinne! Trockenes Fleisch, ungesalzen wie die Wüste, und die Box? Die war so winzig, da haben sich meine Hände gestritten, wer als Erstes reinpasst! Aber hey, der Service hat sich wirklich selbst übertroffen - eine Services Gebühr für diesen Geschmacksexplosion-Fail. Und dann diese abenteuerlichen Saucen! Currysoße und Zaziki auf einem Döner? Geht's noch wilder? Ich dachte immer, Knoblauch und Kräuter wären die Standard-Freunde des Döners. Aber wartet, es wird noch besser! Die Lieferung war zwar schnell vom Restaurant aus, aber 60 Minuten für drei Boxen? Da kann man ja schon den Regenwald abholzen und wieder aufforsten, während man darauf wartet. Die Mini-Box war wenigstens vollgestopft wie ein Taschenlampenkonzert. Da konnte ich mich wenigstens auf Schatzsuche nach dem Fleisch machen. Trocken, fettig, ungesalzen - wer auf kulinarische Abenteuer steht, sollte hier bestellen! Also, liebe Leute, wenn ihr auf Abenteuer steht und euren Geschmacksnerven mal so richtig einen Streich spielen wollt, dann ist diese Döner-Box euer Ticket in die kulinarische Achterbahn. Da ich nicht von hier komme, habe ich das Gefühl, dass ich mich entschuldigen muss. Dafür, dass die Hamburger offensichtlich nicht wissen, wie ein guter Kebap schmecken sollte. Das Fleisch war das salzloseste Fleisch welches ich je in meinem Leben gegessen habe (hatte Hühnchenfleisch und dieses ist def. umsonst gestorben). Es war fettig und gleichzeitige trocken und scharfkantig. Und warum gibt es keine Kräutersoße oder Knoblauchsoße? Ich verstehe die Soßenkomposition hier nicht ganz. Insgesamt war die Dönerbox sehr trocken und gewürzlos. Dafür war diese aber gut gefüllt. Ich denke dass man hier aber mit weißen Styroporboxen besser fahren würde, da die Pappboxen extrem schnell verfetten. Diesen Döner kann ich leider nicht empfehlen.

The first time I tasted Kumpir, it was delicious and well mixed between baked potatoes and cheese. Four toppings are actually delicious, especially with Tunfische 👌 a comfy place to stay when stopping in Altona. I really enjoyed my meal, danke!

Freundliches Personal gutes essen

Das Personal wirkt zwar freundlich, kann sich jedoch kaum merken, was man wollte. Der Dialekt ist eher schwierig zu verstehen. Das Fleisch kam direkt ab dem Spiess und war gut. Für meinen Geschmack hatte der Dürüm viel zu viel Gurken und zu wenig Sauce.

Great portions and fresh ingredients! I asked for extra spicy sauce and they were very generous with it! One of the spiciest and tastiest sauce I've had in a Döner!

Der Döner war ziemlich mächtig. Ich war auf jeden Fall danach satt. Viel Fleisch und viel Gemüse war enthalten. Und ich stelle mir immer die Frage: wie esse ich diesen Fleischkoloss ohne das er zerfällt. Schlussendlich zerfiel er und ich musste viele der Einzelbestandteile separat verputzt. War nicht schlimm, ist man ja gewohnt. Über den Preis von 7,20€ lässt sich streiten. Da ich kein Bargeld hatte, durfte ich das ganze mit Karte zahlen.

Döner war sehr lecker, die Preise sind normal. Ich hoffe, ich kann wieder gehen.

War heute beim Salli‘s Kebap & Grill und bestellte dort ein Döner, den ich vor Ort am Tisch gegessen habe. Leider waren ALLE Tische dreckig! Toiletten, um zum Beispiel auch seine Hände zu waschen, gibt es auch nicht. Allerdings war der Döner schön groß- aber bei den Preisen ……
