Sakura Restaurant PVT-Orient in Halle (Saale)

Unfortunately no recommendation. Unfortunately, the overall package disappointed us. Due to language barriers, incorrect orders occurred because the waitress did not want to take numbers. The equipment did not meet our expectations: inferior wooden sticks were offered - something I have never experienced in a "high-quality" sushi restaurant. There were also no small plates for guests, which increased the risk of food falling on the table. The sushi was okay, but partly poorly rolled. Overall, nearby alternatives offer significantly better quality and a more pleasant overall experience.

The Sakura in Halle is simply a dream for sushi lovers! The quality of the food was outstanding the sushi rolls were fresh, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. I was particularly impressed by the large selection of different sushi creations and other Asian specialties. The service was quick, attentive and very friendly. The atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasantly modern and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy good sushi!

I ordered sushi and before that fried glass noodles with mushrooms etc. Unfortunately I can't recommend that. Afterwards I just felt bad, had a stomach ache the whole time and had to throw up. But otherwise everything was perfect

Disappointing, no more recommendation! There was almost no service, we ordered once at the beginning (food and drinks) and then we were never asked again (we were there for almost 3 hours in total). Even though we were sitting near the bar. But that wasn't the worst by far. We waited 1 hour from ordering to the starter and then another 1 hour from the starter to the main course, where we weren't that hungry anymore. The worst thing, however, was that there were 4 of us, 3 of whom had sushi, which came at the same time and the 4th meal only 20 minutes later, when everyone else had already finished eating. That doesn't work at all! (So ​​the 4 people waited a total of almost 2.5 hours from ordering to eating, underground.) Sushi was tasty, udon noodles not so much (hardly any vegetables, a lot of meat, which wasn't tasty) but the friends eating were completely gone , after the waiting time and the subterranean service. Afterwards we were looked at askance because we decided not to tip (because there was 0 service). You are much better off at Mimis or Kohaku.

Unfortunately, yesterday's visit to the Sakura Hall was rather sobering. It's a really great restaurant in terms of ambience and the menu also offers some great dishes. Unfortunately, we had to wait a long time for our food and then asked ourselves why this was the case, because our food was cold (vegetables, rice) to lukewarm (meat, baked shrimp). Even when we asked to warm the food properly again, nothing changed. The waiter then tried to explain the whole thing somehow, but we didn't really understand it. Unfortunately it will be our last visit there. Because there are definitely other options in the city where we have never had this problem.

We ate at the sushi bar. Original because the food goes past you in little boats. The atmosphere is authentic, modern, Japanese. The sushi is A1. The service was impeccable, even at peak times. The only "minus point" - very loud at peak operation. A top address for fans of Japanese food (sushi). I have been to Japan many times and have rarely - if ever - eaten better sushi.

Waited almost 3 hours for the food, beef steak served on a cold plate. Octopus was like rubber. Very loud in the guest area. It's almost impossible to reorder drinks. Desserts taste a disaster.

Magical service, food really good - my rump steak was buttery soft, the starter was very tasty. The ambience offers steakhouse flair and Japanese views on the upper floor.

I remember Sakura from a few years ago. But what we experienced there today was simply disgusting. The seating and menus were completely covered in leftover food. I had a Tom Yum soup that simply tasted like spicy water and had nothing to do with the original. The main courses were served with completely dry meat and were swimming in fat. The sauce is full of flavor enhancers. And later got really sick and my wife was on the verge of vomiting. Never again to this restaurant!

The staff act ignorant, it is never designed for the benefit of the customer.

Four of us ate here for my girlfriend's birthday. The ambience is chic and stylish. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. The prompt drink order was processed quickly. Both the starters and starters as well as the main courses were served quickly and lovingly prepared. As starters we had the vegetable soup, the shrimp soup and edamame. For main courses we had crispy duck curry, king prawns, sushi platter and chicken breast with sweet potato sticks. We found the price-performance ratio to be good. We go to Sakura every year for our anniversary! It always tastes very good and the staff is friendly and accommodating! Definitely worth recommending!

We ordered an hour in advance for self-collection. When we got there, no one knew what was going on and no one spoke English. Once there, we waited 40 minutes to order, and I give it 2 stars because they offered to sit us down and give us something to drink. The waiter upstairs was very nice compared to the woman who looked like she was there as a punishment and was throwing everything and doing things casually. As for the food, it's terribly poor. Generally no.

You hear something about Sakura every now and then. That's why I decided to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday there. Of course, we are already biased when we go into this restaurant because we only hear positive things about it. The reservation went perfectly through the website. We reserved a table at 5:30 p.m. Sakura has 2 floors, so you could choose where you wanted to sit. There was a buffet on the 2nd floor, but since my girlfriend and I didn't take the buffet, I don't know how good it is. Our order was Ramen Beef and Udon Chicken. The broth from the two soups was delicious, the Narutomaki wasn't too fishy and the noodles were perfect. The chicken and beef were cooked perfectly. Overall, the two soups were very good. After the soups we ordered the Sushi Chef Tip. Unfortunately, since my girlfriend doesn't like sushi, she didn't like it. In my opinion, this was an experience in itself, all these types of sashimi, nigiri and crunchy rolls were fantastic. And as a happy ending, my friend ordered mochi ice cream. As agreed with the waitress beforehand, there was a birthday candle and congratulations on her birthday. I was only allowed to try the mochi ice cream, but with the combination with different fruits it definitely tasted wonderful. My conclusion: Yes, the Sakura is expensive, but you have to keep in mind that the quality, the service, the restaurant and the location are very affordable. It was a really great experience that I would like to repeat soon.

I have to adjust my review. I ordered vegan udon noodles with vegetables on my last visit here. Unfortunately, they come from the same pot as the udon noodles with chicken, which then seems to be picked out quite messily. It doesn't work at all. By the way, there was no discount or anything. My wife and I were there on April 7, 2024 with our 5-month-old daughter and they looked after us and our little one so warmly. Even when she started screaming, they turned on different music for us so that the little one would fall asleep more quickly. I can recommend a visit to every family.

We were disappointed after our visit to Sakura. The house is very impressive from the outside, but less so from the inside. The starter: miso soup was okay, the teriyaki chicken for €5.90 was a joke: 2 small skewers, each with five pieces of chicken measuring 1.5x1.5 cm... The sushi we ordered was okay, we expected more for the price, the fried sushi was no longer warm. The barbecue plate for one person was not enough. The fries on the side were cold, the vegetables were overcooked and too salty. The meat was tough and dry, at €23.90 you wouldn't expect half pieces of meat. The price-performance ratio is not justified! There were stomach problems after eating. We won't eat here again!

We have been to Sakura many times and so far we have always liked it there. Today, however, we were disappointed. Sushi and sashimi in the boats consisted almost exclusively of salmon in various arrangements on the plates. A pity.

Our waitress was a little stressed but still very friendly. Food was here in a few minutes. We had the Panna Cotta (121), the Udon Noodles (60), Sakura Special Chrunchy Roll (73) and the white Tiger Roll (78). I can only recommend everything. The fish was nice and fresh. Everything is a little expensive but I'm happy to spend a little more money for a great evening in such a great restaurant!

We really regret celebrating our birthday here. After 20 minutes, after being seated, a waiter came and asked about the drinks. The yeast wheat on tap was definitely not from the barrel, the beer was simply far too CO2-heavy and didn't taste good. The fish platter was offered with squid, shrimp and scallops. A piece of salmon was brought, one!!! dead fried mussel, no squid and one!! cold shrimp. The undercooked cold vegetables “rounded off” the meal. 24 euros for this is completely unacceptable!! Luckily the children didn't eat the noodle soups. We tried, it was a mistake. Bloated stomach and feeling of fullness are reminiscent of flavor enhancers and additives. After a day of dieting it got better, but the memory remained, we definitely won't come back here!!

Top Japanese cuisine with good service and a great ambience. High prices, but they are justified. I recommend the Sakura Special Crunchy Roll and the Sushi Chef Tip menu.

Die Bedienung im UG war eine reine Katastrophe! Hat sich 10ct Trinkgeld ohne zu Fragen eingesteckt, war total unhöflich, hat nicht auf Wiedersehen gesagt, hat uns anfangs abgewiesen mit „machen sie die Tür zu wir sind voll“ obwohl wir zuvor Reserviert hatten. Nicht noch einmal.

Das Sakura wurde uns ( meinen Freund & mir) wärmstens empfohlen. Dieses können wir auch aus voller Überzeugung weitergeben. Wir werden sicherlich noch mal oder noch viele male dort essen gehen.

Ich war heute das erste mal dort mit meiner Mutter und haben uns ein Traum erfüllt und das erste mal Ramen bestellt, wir waren hin und weg, das essen jede einzelne Speise ist perfekt in jedes kleinste Detail im Aussehen und Geschmack, wir werden definitiv wieder kommen. Die Sushi Schiffe waren auch geil das müßt ihr bei behalten. Sehr großes Lob an die heutige Kellnerin sie hat ein mega Job gemacht und auch an alle Köche die dort tätig waren ab 20Uhr, bis Bald.

Schönes Ambiente an einem belebten Platz, nach der Bestellung leider mäßiger und nicht schneller Service beim Abräumen oder Nachbestellen oder bei Rechnungswunsch. Das Menü für zwei ist für mich außerhalb eines guten Preis Leistungsverhältnisses und zu teuer.
