Very good food, attentive service.

One of the best sushi restaurants in Wiesbaden. Everything is just right here: value for money, service, and ambiance. The sushi is so fresh and incredibly delicious! It's prepared with love, a feast for the eyes. The other dishes on the menu are also highly recommended: whether salmon, duck, or tofu—everything is deliciously prepared. The wait isn't long, drinks arrive quickly, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Reservations are recommended, as it's very busy in the evenings.

I was in Wiesbaden for an event at the beginning of September and stumbled upon Sajo's by chance. I went there twice that weekend because the food and service were perfect. The ambiance is very nice and I really enjoyed it. I highly recommend it; it's definitely worth a visit. The way the food is presented is simply fantastic.

The food was delicious, but the atmosphere was completely unfriendly. First, we stood around for 10 minutes before we were seated at a table, even though it had been free the whole time, and then we waited forever to place our order. Additionally, they wanted to keep the change we paid (about €4/€5), which I don't think is justified given such poor service.

The food was excellent, very good value for money, and the owner was very friendly. Absolutely recommend it. My tip: serve your soups in larger bowls for a better flavor.

As a passionate connoisseur of Asian cuisine, having tried everything from Tokyo to Saigon, I was thrilled with Sajo Asian Fusion in Wiesbaden (Bahnhofstraße 50). The food is simply 10/10 – fresh, authentic, and perfectly balanced. The combination of Vietnamese and Japanese influences is exactly what you would expect from a modern Asian fusion restaurant. The flavors are balanced, the ingredients are high-quality, and the presentation is top-notch. I would particularly like to emphasize the attention to detail: from the homemade broth to perfectly cooked noodles to excellent sushi – you can taste that true professionals are at work here. For anyone who loves good food and values ​​authentic Asian cuisine: A must-go!

I wish I could give this place a higher rating. They will make you food that is actually spicy. :) the wasabi is good quality horseradish. Presentation is perfect. Prompt and good timing of service. Big portions, but not too much to eat but leaves you stuffed.. Salmon, tofu, beef and duck we're cooked perfectly. Staff is polite. They take card and cash and speak English.

The food was simply unbelievably delicious! Add to that the beautiful presentation and first-class service – truly one of the best Asian restaurants in Wiesbaden! For sushi lovers and connoisseurs: The rice was just right, fresh, with a slightly sweet and perfectly balanced flavor.

Went there for the first time at lunchtime. Absolutely outstanding sushi creations, and the matcha tiramisu is soooo delicious. Everything was just right. We'll definitely be back.

As we all know, food is a feast for the eyes, and this was definitely not lacking here! Beautifully presented and the taste was truly outstanding. The portions could have been a bit larger in my opinion, but the good quality more than makes up for it. The super friendly service is particularly noteworthy. We were only in Wiesbaden for four days as a group, and we ate here twice because everything was so harmonious. The ambiance in the garden is very nice, and the interior is also beautifully decorated. If you'd like to enjoy alcoholic beverages, I highly recommend the gin and tonic; it was truly perfectly mixed and a treat for the palate. They always found a seat for us, even though we were a large group (without a reservation), and despite the restaurant being half full, we received our food very quickly. Many dishes can be ordered with meat, fish, or tofu – very practical for mixed groups with diverse preferences. Even special requests (e.g., no mushrooms) were thankfully accommodated. I can therefore highly recommend this restaurant.

Great Asian restaurant. During a visit to Wiesbaden, we had lunch at Sajo on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Interior: The restaurant is lovingly decorated. It feels clean, cozy, and spacious. Staff: The staff are kind, attentive, and enjoy their work. They speak German and provide all the necessary information when making reservations. Food: The food is excellent. We tried various hot dishes and the sushi. Each dish was a generous portion and the quality was excellent. If you visit, you should try the homemade lemonades. They're amazing. We don't live nearby. We'll be happy to eat and drink there again on our next visit to Wiesbaden.

Sajo Restaurant Asian Cuisine & Fine Dining on Bahnhofstrasse in Wiesbaden offers upscale Asian cuisine. The entire restaurant is lovingly and stylishly decorated. Upon entering, you first cross the terrace and then enter the dining room. The selection of dishes is very good, and you can choose between sushi and other traditional dishes. All dishes are freshly prepared and lovingly presented. There is room for improvement in the friendliness of some of the service staff. We really enjoy eating here.

Came during open business hours and they were closed. No sign on the door to say why they were not open during their business hours.

The food was relatively good and beautifully presented. A very extensive menu with plenty of choice. The service is, to put it mildly, "bare minimum" and really limited to the bare essentials. However, they always responded when called. Nice decor, but the bathrooms are jungle-like and difficult to find.

ATTENTION: Cash only!!! Another restaurant with a strong Chinese influence. We had a sushi platter for two, and it was ostentatiously presented (totally un-Japanese) but tasted okay. It was very salmon-heavy, with only one piece containing tuna. You're greeted with two questions/sentences: Do you have a reservation? Can you pay in cash only! The ladies serving are rather sparing with their friendliness and are often busy on their phones behind the counter. However, they respond to calls.

First-class sushi—I eat it here, even though I don't eat it anywhere else. The other dishes are also very delicious and highly recommended. We celebrated our wedding reception here. Great service.

The sauce for the main course was too sweet for me, the chicken was extremely greasy, and the green asparagus was rubbery. You call ahead to ask if card payment is possible. They confirm this over the phone, only to be told on the spot that card payments aren't possible. Completely unprofessional. They only issued a bill upon request. The food was quite expensive but thoroughly enjoyable.

This was my first time here. The atmosphere is actually quite cool, but the wooden benches outside are a bit hard and you can't sit back. The food was very tasty. I ordered edamame as a starter, a fine selection of sushi, and a homemade drink. Everything was really great (only the portion itself, the sushi roll, was a bit small, but as I said, very tasty). Service was okay. I waited a while for my first order, the food came quite quickly, but after that, no one came out for a while. Unfortunately, only cash payment was possible. For this reason, and because of the above points, only 4 stars. But overall, I recommend it!

We dined here on a Sunday afternoon. We got a table for 4 people without a reservation. We were greeted by the smell of old oil. The smell was so intense that we briefly considered whether we should leave again. But I was very hungry and didn't have the energy to look for anything else. The appetizers came to the table about 40 minutes later. I had summer rolls. Was ok. I missed the sauce. Half an hour later the main courses arrived. I ordered crunchy sushi. These were so crunchy that I scratched my gums with them. I've definitely had much better sushi.

We made a reservation here ahead of time and took care to be kind and considerate throughout, but I must say that waiting 40 minutes for a single order of edamame and gyoza + an hour and a half for our mains was excruciating… to make matters worse, not only were we not offered any kind of compensation on our bill or even a simple apology for that matter, but our waitress made a fuss about the remaining 20 cents from our bill at the end. The food itself was nice but I can’t say it was worth all this tenacity and what should’ve been a nice birthday dinner turned out to be a 2.5 hour affair in which we only ate during the last 20 minutes of it.

Very disappointing experience at Sajo Restaurant - Asian Cuisine & Finest Sushi. We had to wait an hour and 45 minutes for our food, while guests who arrived an hour after us were served much quicker. It is absolutely incomprehensible why when entering the restaurant it is not pointed out that due to a lack of staff the waiting time can be up to two hours. Such disrespectful treatment of guests is unacceptable. We definitely won't be coming back.

Yes! Food was very good. Sashiimi, for example, was great, the same goes for the rest. The service was very friendly and quick. Only 4 stars because payment by card is not possible. Given the price level, although reasonable, it's an absurdity. For 4 people it can easily cost over €100. Apparently it is often not possible to use the card reader (no reception). Otherwise everything was tip-top.

The food came quickly and was good. However, it was anything but a pleasant stay. First we were given a table directly under the box from which music was blaring unbearably loud. We were then given a seat one table away, which wasn't much better. Despite the comment, the music was not turned down, so it was hardly possible to have a conversation at a normal volume. The proximity of the table to the toilet was very uncomfortable!!! And only when paying would you be informed that card payments are currently not possible. It's a shame, because we were really looking forward to the evening there because of the many positive reviews.

This restaurant is very busy on Saturday evenings. You won't get a place here without a reservation. The food looks very appealing and fresh. We enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately, no card payment or only cash payment is possible (as of March 15, 2025).

The restaurant is stylishly decorated and the food is good. However, the service needs improvement. Unfortunately, communication was hardly possible due to our language skills. In addition, the coffee machine was broken and card payment was not possible. Recently the room temperature was very low, which made the stay rather unpleasant.

We were there last Friday, 2 people. Reservation by email worked great. Unfortunately, at 6:30 p.m. in the middle and unexpectedly of the children's birthday party, it was very loud until the company left. After a long journey, we were really looking forward to the sushi. The menu is very diverse and the food is certainly very tasty. Unfortunately, it wasn't until we ordered that we were informed that we couldn't order sushi, even though the menu mainly offered sushi and our neighboring table was served some. We then decided to eat somewhere else but unfortunately we weren't allowed to cancel the drinks. I think it's a shame that the menu wasn't communicated when we brought it, because then we wouldn't have ordered any drinks that we then had to pay for.
