Für ein vietnamesisches Restaurant kaum vegane Speisen… die Sushi-Bowl mit Tofu war super langweilig. Reis mit unangemachtem Salat und Tofu der eigentlich nur aus fettiger Panade bestanden hat. Service war ok.

Das Essen ist immer fantastisch, egal wofür wir uns entscheiden! Die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und die Wartezeit ist kurz.

Ich gehe seit Jahren regelmäßig dort hin. Mit Abstand der beste Asiate in der Umgebung! Immer lecker und auch spontan möglich einen Tisch zu bekommen. Nur Barzahlung möglich

Ich habe heute hier zu Mittag gegessen und das Essen war köstlich. Ich hatte Pho mit Meeresfrüchten. Es war leicht scharf, aber nicht zu scharf. Die Bedienung war freundlich und sprach Englisch. Die Speisekarten sind auf Deutsch, daher benötigt man eine Übersetzungs-App, wenn man kein Deutsch kann.

Schmackhaft Gerichte. Lokal etwas dunkel, Dekoration etwas lieblos.

Wir waren gestern Mittag spontan dort essen und wurden wirklich positiv überrascht. Das Essen war sehr lecker, frisch und schön angerichtet. Die Portionen sind sehr groß und für den Preis wirklich top. Auch der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Restaurant definitiv weiterempfehlen! Man muss beachten, es ist nur Barzahlung möglich.

Das Kimchi war leider nicht mein Geschmack; ich kenne es etwas anders. Dennoch: bitte probiert es! Tolles Lokal.

Wir sind mit einer neuen Speisekarte gestartet. Anders als bei den letzten Besuchen. Leider keine gebratenen Nudeln mit Hähnchen und frischem Gemüse mehr auf der Karte. Die Alternativen haben uns auch geschmeckt. Große Portionen, so dass wir ein Drittel einpacken lassen mussten. Der Service war wie immer sehr freundlich. Das Restaurant ist bei unseren Besuchen immer gut besucht. Reservieren ist hilfreich.

Sehr lecker, frisch zubereitet und wenn man „scharf“ sagt, wird es das auch! 👍🏼 Einziger kleiner Haken ist die Lautstärke, da das Lokal - zurecht - sehr gut besucht ist.

Das Essen war bei allen sehr gut.Und auch der Service war in Ordnung. Die Stühle sind sehr bequem. Wir haben uns allerdings gefragt warum die Fenster aussehen als wären sie das letzte mal vor Jahren geputzt worden. Es ist schade -auch wenn es ein altes Gebäude ist kann man es rausputzen.

Ich bin begeistert und kann es wirklich sehr empfehlen! Das Personal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Essen ist total lecker und frisch!! Ich werde aufjedenfall wiederkommen :)

Absolutes Topp Essen. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Grosse Essensauswahl. Üppige Protionen, wer da nicht satt wird, dem kann nicht mehr geholfen werden.

Wir hatten an einem Freitag Abend mit einer größeren Gruppe dort reserviert, mussten dann aber trotzdem noch 15min am Eingang warten bis unser Tisch frei war. Das war win wenig ärgerlich. Das essen war dann dafür super lecker gewesen und wir sind alles sehr zufrieden aus dem Restaurant gegangen. Es ist auch für veganer eine gute Auswahl an Gerichten vorhanden.

Qualitativ und geschmacklich ist Sushi beim Morjkawa zwischen dem Sushi beim Nordenstädter Globus (gute To-Go-Qualität) und dem Mikuni in Frankfurt (bestes Sushi-Restaurant auf diesem Planeten) angesiedelt. Mehr in Richtung Mikuni. Kann man gut essen!

Ich war schon das 3. mal bei Morj Kawa. Der Service war bisher immer sehr lieb! Das Essen war geschmacklich nie wirklich beeindruckend aber für den ,leichten‘ Gaumen und auf die Schnelle war es ok. Außer heute. Heute waren wir leider sehr enttäuscht. Geschmacklich und qualitativ war das Essen wirklich nicht gut … die Teller waren groß dabei die Hälfte gestopft mit lieblosen Salat. Gerade die asiatische/vietnamesische Küche sollte man mehr Kräuter einbringen. Davon war nichts zu sehen. Generell sollten sie auf die Einrichtung, auf die abgenutzten Speisekarten sowie Schüsseln mit zerbrochenen Rändern, achten. Spinnweben neben unseren Tischen habe ich schon beim ersten Restaurant Besuch bemerkt. Es hat Potential zu mehr. Service ist wie gesagt lieb und zuvorkommend aber für den Rest braucht es einen großen Push nach oben.

Wir kommen so gerne hierher. Das Essen ist jedesmal sooo lecker. Haben schon alles durchprobiert 😋 Der Service ist wirklich sehr herzlich. Was wir aber sehr schade finden, die Speisekarten sind sehr schmutzig und lösen sich stellenweise auf. Passt leider nicht zu dem schönen, stimmigen Ambiente. Vielleicht könnte man diese nach einiger Zeit durch neue ersetzen.

Sehr gutes asiatisches Lokal mit authentischen Speisen welches sich vom üblichen Einheitsbrei erheblich unterscheidet.Auch das Sushi ist sehr gut.Klare Empfehlung.

Wir hatten an Valentinstag einen Tisch dort, und das Essen war rund um sehr lecker. Restaurant war voll, und der Kellner hat uns ein wenig vergessen, aber er war stets freundlich. Wir hatten einen rundum schönen Abend. Parkplätze sind nicht ganz so viel vorhanden. Hier muss man ausweichen in die Seitenstraßen oder am Globus gegenüber parken. Meins ist noch zu bemerken. Vor Ort kann man nur bar zahlen.

Leider nur Barzahlung, was einen unseriösen Eindruck hinterlässt und natürlich schade ist, da mittlerweile fast jeder mit Karte zahlt. Zudem wurde uns dies bei unserem Anruf wahrscheinlich wissentlich vorbehalten.

Service war super freundlich. Essen war sehr gut. Man hätte zwischendurch gern nach Getränken fragen dürfen, dann hätten wir sicherlich noch was bestellt. Im 21. Jahrhundert ist bargeldloses bezahlen empfehlenswert. So teuer ist es in der heutigen Zeit nicht mehr. Und das Kassensystem ist bereits digital.

A beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere – unfortunately, the service was disappointing. Our group of seven women was served the wrong dish, which we didn't eat, but were still charged for – despite pointing it out. Even when we asked for coffee, no one listened. Mistakes can happen, but friendliness and goodwill are essential. A real shame in such a lovely place.

My absolute favorite restaurant in Wiesbaden – an oasis of peace and deliciousness! When it comes to Asian cuisine in Wiesbaden, Morjkawa is my undisputed number one. What makes this restaurant so special is its wonderfully cozy and tranquil atmosphere. Here you can truly unwind and enjoy yourself without any hustle and bustle. The food is simply fantastic. The pho deserves special mention – I've rarely eaten such a good soup! But the sushi is also excellent, and the red Thai curry is simply amazing. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, light, and doesn't leave you feeling heavy. A huge compliment goes to the team: The staff is incredibly attentive, warm, and always friendly. Despite the high quality, there are no long waiting times; the service is quick and professional. If you're looking for light, delicious food and a relaxing break, this is the place for you. Highly recommended!

Nice restaurant with delicious food. Reasonable prices, parking available. The only drawbacks are that they only accept cash and only one urinal works. Otherwise, everything is great.

I was actually expecting a typical Asian restaurant, with Chinese and Vietnamese fare. I was so pleasantly surprised. The food is available either spicy or mildly spicy, and it's beautifully presented. It's meticulously cooked and tastes truly exceptional. The only drawback: CASH ONLY It's 2025, and this shouldn't be happening anymore. Apparently, paying in cash facilitates money laundering, though I'm not sure if that applies to this restaurant.

I ordered the teriyaki salmon with a mango shake. It was delicious! Keep in mind they only accept Euro. My only issue was the parking lot - it is extremely small with around 10 spots total.

Busy Asian restaurant, decent food with good portions, very friendly service

The food is super delicious and the selection is huge, so there's something for every taste. The interior is interesting and cozy, with wall and ceiling decorations. The staff was very friendly and attentive; I highly recommend it.

Friendly service, great food. Sat outside in the "beer garden." Note: Cash only! A few weeks later, I had the pleasure of dining in the beautifully decorated interior: a fantastic curry with crunchy vegetables and tender meat. There's also a good selection of vegetarian dishes.

We've been here several times now, and it's usually delicious. Today I ordered No. 31 / Teriyaki Beef on Fire with entrecote according to the menu. Apart from the meat, it was tasty, but the meat was abysmally bad. Full of tendons and gristle, so I couldn't eat about half of it. I complained to the waiter, and that was it from the restaurant. When we asked what the kitchen had to say about our complaint, the answer was: yes, they saw that the meat wasn't good, next time we have to be more careful. Guys, that's how you lose guests and get negative reviews. Not only the kitchen needs to pay attention, but the chef, otherwise he'll soon no longer need a kitchen. Too bad

I took salmon teriyaki, the menu stated 210 grams, in fact it was a thin salmon steak of about 80-100 grams. Maximum!!! And a lot of salad. Old rice. For 24€!!!! More or less tasty, but the weight is a deception. I do not recommend...

And dear Kathrin... mango salad and Asian food are usually spicy. But giving only one point for the food is an undeserved slap in the face for the team, and, by the way, pretty shabby, too.

The food was disappointing. It looks delicious in photos, but I wouldn't recommend surf and turf. The prime rib wasn't good. The teriyaki salmon, however, was. The salad that came with it looked like it came from a can, but the other vegetables were tasty. Moreover, you have to pay cash. Since it's close to the main road, many people stay here overnight while traveling. This is a shame for foreigners, because withdrawing money from an ATM abroad naturally involves extra taxes.

My wife and I came to Wiesbaden for a work conference. We knew we were on the outskirts of the main city so we didn't know what we would find as far as restaurants go. We were certain we did not want to eat at the hotel restaurant two nights in a row. We saw this place, but we initially thought MorjKawa was only a sushi place. So, we were pleasantly surprised to see it had a full menu AND shaded outdoor seating. Had we dined on the inside, we would have seen the "Cash Only" sign, but we did not. I was about ten Euro short so I gave my waiter a big tip in dollars and he covered the rest in Euro. We started with gyozas as an appetizer. For the mains, we both enjoyed perfectly cooked salmon. My wife had hers in a salad with avocado while mine was in a yellow curry. The food was outstanding. The service was great. I really appreciated the waiter working with me to solve the money issue. I strongly recommend MorjKawa, but please bring Euro!

MorjKawa in Wiesbaden-Nordenstadt is a great asset to the restaurant landscape in Nordenstadt and throughout Wiesbaden. MorjKawa primarily offers Vietnamese specialties as well as a wide selection of sushi. Both the sushi and the Vietnamese specialties (including a large selection of curries) are highly recommended. In addition to fresh dishes, homemade drinks such as lemonades are also offered. High-quality ingredients are used in all dishes and drinks, and guests will appreciate the taste. There is ample free parking at the restaurant. The only area for improvement would be the introduction of card payments.

We ate here on Friday evening as a family of four. We didn't have a reservation, but we still got a table. It was warm, and we could sit outside. We were staying at the Hotel Stolberg directly across the street. There are also some free parking spaces right next to the restaurant. The ambiance, the food, and the service were excellent. We were served by Tam. He was very friendly and attentive and even had time to chat with us privately, which made him even more likeable. Now for the food: For starters, we had vegetarian tempura sushi (so crispy), sweet potato fries, and vegetarian summer rolls. Everything was fresh and delicious. The fries were really hot 🔥. For the main course, we had peanut coconut curry with tofu and rice (vegan) for me, and Vietnamese vegetable soup with tofu and sushi for our sons. See photos. A very nice evening. We finally wanted to try this restaurant. It's a good thing we made a reservation in advance. There were still seats available at 6 p.m. and plenty of parking, and by 7 p.m. all the tables were taken. So, be sure to make a reservation. The menu is very varied, with something for every taste. The food was incredibly delicious, and the spices were perfectly balanced. They also served homemade lemonade. One point deducted because none of the drinks were cold. The service was attentive but a little overwhelmed. Despite the hustle and bustle, they remained calm. We had a very nice evening and will definitely come back. PLEASE NOTE: Cash only.

We regularly visit MorjKawa and are huge fans of this restaurant: fantastic food, super nice and extremely friendly staff, beautiful ambiance—perfect all around. Plus, large portions and a huge selection of delicious drinks and food. For me, it's one of the top locations in the Wiesbaden area.

Update 05.2025: I was there again today for lunch. The tables were clean and the menus weren't as sticky as they were on my last visit. So, something has changed. I've therefore updated my rating and now give it 3.5 stars. First review (2024): Delicious and creative food. The lunch menu is particularly commendable. However, I expect absolute cleanliness and hygiene, especially from sushi restaurants. Tables are repeatedly not clean, and the menus are particularly bad, with stains and sticky residue on almost every page. Does the kitchen look like that too? Unfortunately, that's not possible. A little more cleanliness and hygiene, and it would be an all-around solid restaurant.

I went in for one more drink before going to bed, but it was packed with customers even though it was a Monday night. It was so lively that I had to shout to talk with my friends.

I was beyond thrilled with my visit to this Vietnamese restaurant – from the very first moment, everything was just right! The ambiance is cozy and authentic, but what really stands out is the fantastic food and warm service.

Quick update: We've been here several times now. Thanks to new employees, including Tam and Phong, the restaurant has improved significantly, especially in terms of service. The food has also improved even further, in my opinion. Definitely go. This Vietnamese restaurant is located in the former Wiesengrund restaurant. The food here is really good. If you like spicy food, you should definitely choose the spicier dishes. Some of the "regular" dishes are a bit bland. If you're looking for cocktails, this isn't the place for you, as they don't (yet) serve them. However, there are good wines and delicious beers. Highly recommended. And one more note: Cash only.

Unfortunately the mango salad was so spicy that I couldn't eat it and the menu didn't say that it was spicy at all. The sushi with tuna was also very spicy, some information would be very welcome. It's a shame that the sauces for the main courses are prepared and allergies are not taken into account. We were very disappointed and expected more given the positive reviews.

I work nearby and often go there for lunch or pick up something to take home. It's always been delicious without exception and even when the place is full it's quick. The new service crew has been particularly great for a few months now👌🏼 so going out to eat is fun 🤩 a real asset to Nordenstadt 👍🏼

We were there as a group for dinner and were warmly greeted by our waiter (Phong) and shown to our seat. The service was exceptionally good and we were regularly asked whether everything was to our satisfaction or whether we were missing something. The dishes were authentic and extremely tasty. A clear recommendation for anyone who wants to reward their taste buds and definitely not our last visit! 🍱🍣👍🏻

A Wonderful Experience at Morjkawa Restaurant I recently had the pleasure of dining at the charming MorjKawa Restaurant, and I can confidently say it was one of the best dining experiences of my life. From the moment I entered the restaurant, I was enveloped by a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately put me in a good mood. The decor is tasteful, with thoughtful details that enhance the character of the place. I was promptly greeted by our server, Phong, whose pleasant smile and friendly, open manner immediately set the perfect mood for the evening. Phong was not only extremely professional but also very approachable and seemed to know how to make his guests' stay as pleasant as possible. He took the time to explain the menu in detail and made some recommendations that turned out to be spot on. It was obvious that Phong is not just a server, but also a connoisseur of gastronomy. He took the time to ensure we had everything we needed and regularly checked in to make sure everything was to our satisfaction—a gesture we greatly appreciated. When our meal was finally served, we were simply thrilled. The presentation of the dishes was also a delight; every component on the plate seemed to be lovingly arranged, enhancing the dining experience. Phong came by often to ensure everything was in order. It was obvious that he was passionate about his work and cared about his guests. As the evening drew to a close, we felt not only satiated and happy, but also enriched by the warm hospitality we had experienced. Phong bid us farewell with a sincere smile and a warm hug to show how pleased he was to have us. I haven't experienced such a personal touch in a long time. In summary, I can wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant "MorjKawa" and especially my waiter, Phong. The combination of excellent food, a harmonious ambiance, and a waiter who does his job with such dedication and passion is simply unbeatable. This restaurant and this waiter definitely deserve a place in my heart. I can't wait to return and make new culinary discoveries – and I hope Phong will be our waiter again!

The service was very warm and the atmosphere was also nice. Unfortunately, you save on good ingredients here. The Bun Chai only contained a few vegetables; instead of carrots, cucumbers and fresh herbs, the plate was filled with salad. We were therefore rather disappointed with the quality of the food.
