Really nice decor. The food is also really great.

Yesterday we went there for dinner with friends and our miniature dachshund. As always, the food was delicious and the atmosphere very pleasant. We were lucky and even got a table without a reservation :-) However, we were very disappointed with the service this time. The waiter was quite unfriendly, which is a real shame. You don't just go out to eat to get your fill, but to enjoy a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Next time, we'll probably choose a different restaurant where you feel a bit more welcome. I recommend sensitizing the service staff to such situations so that the restaurant doesn't lose its appeal.

Every once in a while, you walk into a restaurant and feel that someone actually cared. Tokygon is one of those rare cases. The interior is a romanticised version of rural Vietnamese architecture — not authentic, of course, but beautiful in its own way, a kind of dreamscape of wood, lanterns, and atmosphere. It works. The staff are warm, attentive, and friendly without overdoing it. Service flows smoothly, never rushed, never sluggish. And the food? It really does what the name promises: it carries you from Tokyo to Saigon in a single sitting. My wife and I had sushi and the Tokygon fasting menu. Both were absolutely fantastic — carefully prepared, full of flavor, and presented with the kind of precision and care that makes you realise you’re not just “eating Asian,” you’re experiencing a deliberate culinary journey. A family menu with fish instead of only vegetarian or meat options would be a very welcome addition to the already strong concept. Five stars, without hesitation. We’ll be back — and next time, I’ll bring an even bigger appetite.

Tokygon – derived from Saigon and Tokyo – is a restaurant that impresses not only with its culinary sophistication, but above all with its exceptional ambiance. The lovingly decorated space transports you to another world, aesthetically pleasing and where you immediately feel at home. No ordinary dishes, but Asian cuisine of the highest quality.

The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. We chose the family menu, which is exactly what you see in the picture. The menu cost €27.90 and was for two people. Dessert was chosen by the restaurant. The kimchi and curry sauce were particularly delicious. My husband really liked the wasabi sauce; it wasn't just plain wasabi; I suspect they mixed it with mayonnaise. The fried chicken was a bit light on flavor, but with the sauce, it was excellent. The fried spring rolls were also very tasty. The chicken in curry sauce was a bit dry for my taste. The dessert at the end was the crowning glory, a perfect combination of banana and coconut milk. My husband also ordered a passion fruit drink, which was also delicious. The atmosphere and service were also very good. I always rate restaurants based on whether I would go back. And this one, definitely.

An absolute disappointment – ​​I'm really angry! I've never experienced anything like this before. The beer was warm (!) and they actually threw in an ice cube – simply disrespectful to the customer. The chicken with rice in coconut sauce was absolutely inedible: dry, old, completely tasteless. It seemed as if it had been sitting around somewhere for days. The portion was small, but the price was outrageously high. The service? Lackluster, rude, and completely disinterested. I didn't feel welcome as a guest – in fact, I was glad when I could finally leave. Never again! I strongly advise everyone not to visit this restaurant. Wiesbaden has much better places – this one is absolutely not worth the money.

I went to your restaurant today with a friend, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. We ordered rice with chicken and vegetables in coconut sauce. The chicken wasn't particularly tasty—it was mostly breadcrumbs and hardly any meat. The beer was served warm, with only one ice cube—it was ridiculous. The service was rude and unkind, not friendly at all. I definitely don't recommend this restaurant.

The visit was very disappointing. Despite only ten tables, the service was overwhelmed by two people: inattentive, disorganized and uncoordinated. Orders were forgotten, food didn't arrive at the same time, and guests sometimes had to take action themselves to be served. The waiting times were long, and not just at our own table. Conclusion: Never again.

Trendiger Asiate im Rheingauviertel von Wiesbaden. Gute Lage und nettes Ambiente. Allerdings ist die Einrichtung hier und da auch schon ein bisschen angegrabbelt. Ebenso die Speisekarte, die auch renovierungsbedürftig ist. Die Auswahl der Speisen ist asiatisch orientiert, ohne eine bestimmte Küche zu bedienen. Eher das Kapitel: alles, was Trend ist. Leider hält der Geschmack nicht mit dem Ambiente mit, die Speisen sind einfach zu wenig und langweilig, gewürzt. Service habe ich auch schon munterer und freundlicher erlebt. Aber für einen netten Abend wirds wohl langen.

Disappointed :-( Angry salmon sushi roll for €10.50. 8 mini(!) sushi rolls and then sooooo little salmon? I've never experienced it anywhere before. Most of it is just a spice sauce, you have to look for the salmon, the rest is just cucumber :-(!!! Last time sushi here

Authentic restaurant with a huge selection - including vegan dishes. The ambience is very nice, like in Japan, we decided to sit on the floor and really enjoyed eating like in Japan. We will definitely come back because the visit was worth it.

A Vietnamese-Japanese shop that is also busy during the week. Even though there were only 2 service staff there, we were served quickly. There's phos and sushi, but also a good selection of hot dishes. I wasn't asked about the doneness of my beef steak. But overall very good food. I'll probably go again.

Completely empty empty Terrasse at wonderful blue sky and 24 degrees. I asked at a almost empty restaurant if I could sit outside. They didn't want to walk extra I guess and said: No just inside for now. Service and friendlyness looks different I left.

I think the shop is very nicely decorated and the food is good too. There are some vegan dishes. The store is just partly not very customer friendly. When I wanted to pay for an order with a voucher for 50 euros, I was told that this wasn't possible. My order had not reached 50 euros. Very annoying! I don't know of any store where you can't redeem vouchers in pieces. You should also note this on the voucher. On the voucher it was only noted that the voucher was only valid for one year. The short time is also rather unusual. Another low point: When I wanted to pay in cash, as I specified on my online order, the waitress didn't have enough change. So she just wanted to give me less change... As I said, I think the store's food and atmosphere are good. But the service definitely needs to be improved.

I was there for the first time 2 years ago and was already impressed. Unfortunately another visit only happened today. The map has changed slightly and is much more pleasant to read. I can still remember a larger laminated page with categories Family etc. - that was a bit confusing. The current map is great. Some lemonades are a little too sweet, but still very good. If you don't like it that sweet, you should use the one with ginger - Gingerade or something similar. The summer and autumn rolls are a must and then you can indulge in sushi. This is really good! If there weren't always the natural limits of our absorption capacity, we would still be sitting there and eating. The service was very quick, friendly and uncomplicated. - perfect. I hope that it doesn't take me two years to find my way there again, because this restaurant actually has what it takes to become a regular restaurant.

Yesterday, we happened to discover this restaurant. It did not disappoint. From the service, to the food, and drinks. We ordered the summer rolls (peanut sauce was a light, yet good), red dragon (this curry, unfortunately not spicy, but still good), beef bowl with mango (tasty, the beef was perfectly marinated and tender), grass cosmopolitan (yummy), and toygon minty (amazing- loved the Japanese whisky). If you haven't visited this restaurant. What are you waiting for? 😊

Went to Tokygon for the first time last week. The food was delicious (Tonkins Farm), even if the menu was extremely heavy. There were about two small broccoli counted and 9 sweet potato fries for €20. Well. But I wouldn't deduct that, but I found it to be quite expensive compared to similar restaurants. My issue was the cleanliness (-1 star) and the annoyed, impersonal service (-1 star). The table and the floor were sticking, the cutlery was not complete (1 knife, 2 spoons, 4x2 chopsticks for 2 people. The waitress showed zero interest in his guests, took the order without moving and was hardly present in any other way (lighter for the candle at the table, desire to pay after we had finished). All in all, a stylish restaurant, nice especially in the ambience and the well-described menu. You then pay for this marketing for good, but hardly better food than other Thais in the area.

Absolutely amazing atmosphere! Something like an Asian market. You can see that there is a lot of attention to detail here. The Homemade Refresher was very tasty and the food was also a dream! When we are back in Wiesbaden, we will definitely come back!

Many vegan options. The summer rolls, grilled unagi nigiri and the vegan burger were OK, but the angry calamary was a meh for me.

I've been here several times with my friends and I can say that the staff is so friendly that you almost think they've secretly earned a smile diploma. The food is so good that I could literally eat the red curry every day. I always enjoy coming here because I know that I can get a seat even without a reservation - almost like a VIP, only without the annoying red carpet.

Tokygon in Wiesbaden offers very authentic Vietnamese cuisine that is absolutely delicious. The menu for two people is particularly recommended, with both meat and vegetarian options. The flavors are wonderful and the food is freshly prepared. A real highlight for lovers of Vietnamese cuisine!

Unfortunately, it has declined significantly, especially in the last year. The “Red Bird” dish, which used to taste really good, now again had hardly any carrot, sweet potato and pumpkin, but there was a lot of lettuce (it was far too dominant) and a lot of rice, which gave the dish a bland taste. In addition, the skin of the duck was very thick and limp, instead of thin and nice and crispy as before. It's a real shame because we've often ordered there in the past and/or eaten there with friends and have always been very satisfied.

The food is very tasty. Accordingly, the restaurant is usually full to the brim. You should definitely reserve a table.

We really enjoy going to Tokygon as a family. The dishes are incredibly tasty and perfectly seasoned. “Tokyo on plate” is particularly recommended. Our children love "Red Bird" and the sushi. We also think the summer rolls are very good. Actually everything there is very, very tasty :-). The homemade drinks/sodas are great and go perfectly with the dishes. The guest room is nice and cozy, so you immediately feel at home. By the way, the service is always friendly and very fast. Every now and then we like to order the food in advance and then pick it up to eat at home and the food is still hot and perfect. One of our favorite restaurants in Wiesbaden :-)
