I love the Pad Thai with tofu 😍😍 9€ is fair, especially for the portion! I always receive a very warm welcome :-). Highly recommended!

Nice bahn mi, but a bit small. However, value for money was pretty good as it was quite cheap.

Came here with high expectations because of the rating, but was quite disappointed. Banh mi comes in regular pistolettes, not the og banh mi baguettes which is what’s it’s mainly about. They were also lacking flavour (no Pate, not much other sauces) and the meats were quite dry. Summer rolls were just ok, nothing special. Bao buns were compared to the rest the best, but also a bit dry and lacking sauce. The homemade lemonades were a bit too sweet but other than that nice. Quiet and chill neighbourhood though.

Excellently prepared food in a lovely little shop. The portion sizes are more than sufficient, the ingredients taste fresh and really good. The team is extremely friendly and in a good mood, you immediately feel like you are in good hands. My personal favorite is the Bun Bowl with Nem Rolls. :) I really enjoy coming here again and again!

A little gem in Friedrichshain! The food is incredibly delicious every time, is very freshly prepared and the portions are very large 😊 and all at a super affordable price! My tip is the Pho soup with beef, super strong broth, fresh herbs and tender meat! Simply super delicious! The minimalist, bright atmosphere and the super nice owners are of course a plus. Always friendly, quick and you can almost always get a seat (due to its somewhat hidden location, the restaurant is probably more of an insider tip). 10/10 ❣️

Authentic vietnamese cuisine with very friendly service. In Friedrichshain it’s hard to find Banh Mi but that restaurant saved our day. We got one chicken Banh Mi and Nr.8. Both could definitely be more spicy! That is the only con about Saigon Shack. Definitely recommended.

Can’t believe I never left a review since I’ve been going there for years and it’s been and stays so good. A little family place that’s so unremarkable from the outside that one wouldn’t guess what a little gem it is. Whether it’s a little snack or a bigger meal, everything is always fresh and tastes delicious. The food is basically cooked in front of you and everyone who works there is always sweet and friendly, my absolute recommendation for the “upper Friedrichshain” area

Great little restaurant that serves home made Vietnamese food at moderate prices. A favorite spot for lunch or a quick bite. The owner is very friendly and seems passionate about the food. A must try: the taro bun dessert!

What a cozy and great place this little imbiss is! Non-pretentious at all, they have a clean place with many great options. The menu is mostly Vietnamese, where the Pho and Banh Mi clearly excel. What a treat for all your senses, I would highly recommend the bao buns too :) Keep the good work, our kiez needs more places like this

Every time I eat here I feel like I am going into someone’s house, someone that loves to cook for people! 😍 The food is always so fresh, feels super homemade, ingredients aren’t over the top but the perfect amount! The service is impeccable - every time they are kind, open to help, to speak in English or in German with problem! The prices are great, affordable! I love coming back.

Die Saigon Shack ist klein und auch die Karte hat weniger Gerichte als andere Vietnamesische Restaurant und Imbisse. Aber diese sind dafür extrem lecker. Besonders das Pad Thai ist mein echter Favourit! Die Bedienung ist superfreundlich und die Preise absolut fair! Ich geh balt 1 mal die Woche hier mittagessen inzwischen.

Bestes Pad Thai seit langem, auch wenn es ein vietnamesisches Restaurant ist :). Auch die vorherigen Male war das Essen wirklich toll, und der nette Service lässt mich sehr gern öfter vorbeikommen! Vielen Dank

Very delicious banh mi. Tofu was still good without mayo to make it vegan (I added sriracha). If only slightly bigger. But it is very fresh and delicious with fresh bread and ingredients. I would prefer to pay €1 more for larger size, because it is only half a meal at this size. But it is a bit gourmet compared to usual.

Ich will mich eigentlich durch die gesamte Speisekarte schlemmen, aber jedes Mal bestelle ich Phad Thai, weil es so lecker ist.

Liebe den Taro Bun und die Banh Mis! Leider sind die Baguettes nicht aus Reismehl sondern die normalen die man so aus der Bäckerei & fertig im Supermarkt zum Aufbacken kennt aber sonst Preis Leistung top

You might be tempted to ignore this place just by looking at the simple and bare location. You would be mistaking. The food is awesome and the staff is gentle and fast. The quality of the ingredients is really high. And I couldn't believe I spent so little. Heartily recommended.

Wirklich leckeres Essen und gute Preise. Wir wurden freundlich bedient und schnell bedient. Kleiner und einfacher Gastraum mit Blick auf die Küche.
