We entered the restaurant on Saturday at 8 p.m. We were sent out again because the kitchen was already closed. Kitchen closed at 8 p.m. on a Saturday. *shakes head We then had a lovely evening in Plaza Toro

We had a wonderful girls' night with great food. The summer rolls were very tasty and the homemade lemonade is highly recommended.

Good Vietnamese cuisine, attractively prepared, good portion size and - what I particularly like - I spontaneously got a table for two, even though it was actually full. Space was quickly made. Very customer friendly and therefore from me: full marks! Ps: you can also have a great lunch there ;)

The food was excellent and the cook (probably the tenant asked us personally whether the food was good! Unfortunately, the service added the drinks from the neighboring table to our bill - he could have rectified the mishap that he fortunately recognized - he did But of course we didn't get the money back

Good dishes with a decent price/performance ratio. Of course it's not really authentic, but on the other hand it's rare to find a real currywurst in Asia. Unfortunately, service was a bit slow on the day of the visit, even though it wasn't too busy. But all the employees were friendly, so: It's fine!

The Saigon Garden in Bad Godesberg convinced me! The food was delicious and the portions were so big that I was full. The short waiting time was particularly positive. The ambience is pleasant and invites you to linger. If you like Vietnamese cuisine, you should definitely pay a visit to the Saigon Garden.

A really cozy girls' evening with delicious food, so lovingly and creatively prepared, it's a feast for the eyes. 👀 The service is attentive and quick. While we were eating we were asked if everything was okay. 👍 We had starter and main course. Both were simply delicious. 😋 Also the homemade rhubarb lemonade, refreshing and not so sweet. 👍 A lovely evening all around. Gladly again. 🤩 P.S. Reservations are an advantage as the restaurant was very busy on a Wednesday.

Absolute recommendation! We first had a small (holy) sushi selection, unfortunately without a photo, and then Mama Mango or Curry, each with chicken. And everything was sooooo delicious! Service attentive and very quick. Only our seat in the middle of the restaurant was a bit uncomfortable or restless in the passageway. When we're in Bonn again, we'll definitely stop by again!

I'm actually not a fan of Vietnamese cuisine, but I've changed my mind! The freshness and taste were great and convinced me. The lemonades were very good and went well with the food. All in all, the culinary journey is worth it and an enrichment in Godesberg!

About a year after opening, the Saigon Garden restaurant has firmly established itself as a place to go for good Vietnamese cuisine. In summer you can sit outside, and inside it is also busy at any time of the year, especially in the evenings. We appreciate the authentic Vietnamese dishes, of which we have particularly tasted and learned to appreciate the salads with mango, papaya and glass noodles over the last few months. These come with fried onions and chopped peanuts and can be ordered with chicken or shrimp. For the main course, I'm a big fan of the medium-rare tuna steak with pepper sauce or with red Thai curry (€23.90). But the fried glass noodles with shrimp, beef or tofu are also a perennial favorite. Rice dishes, rice noodles, udon and in the cold season also the pho, it all tastes so good that we haven't even gotten around to trying the sushi, which looked very good at the next table. A good choice are the homemade lemonades, such as the ginger lemonade (€5.50) which is served with fresh mint and limes. The service is courteous and attentive. The processes mesh together and so you don't have to wait long for your food. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, sometimes the noise inside can't be avoided. We regularly go to the Saigon Garden, also because of the good price-performance ratio, as you can find very good dishes here at relatively moderate prices.

I've been there a lot now and tested it a lot. Starters and main courses are very good. Lots of choice. The homemade lemonades are a blast. There is also a large selection of sushi. Civilian prices. Card payments are now also possible.

We really liked it there, we were looking for a cozy restaurant and refuge from the rain. When we found ourselves in this restaurant it was like we were on vacation 😍.The service is good, the food was very tasty 😋and looked very appealing. They probably don't deliver, but you can pick up your order locally. I think price/performance is okay. We would be happy to come back.

Currently the best restaurant in Godesberg and one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Bonn. The selection of dishes is sufficient and they are presented attractively. The food is freshly prepared (you can look into the kitchen) and we like it very much (we have been there several times). I recommend making reservations, especially in the evening. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We will be back!

During our Easter short break in Bonn we were in the mood for Vietnamese and found this wonderful restaurant where we got a nice table without a reservation on Easter Sunday evening. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly service, all dishes freshly prepared, perfectly seasoned, beautifully presented and very reasonably priced. Highly Recommended.

Price/performance is right, I like drinking the coffee here. The food also tastes good. When we were there you couldn't pay by card. The ambience is ok but doesn't blow you away either. During peak times you should have reserved a table; dogs also seem to be welcome. Is worth a visit.

The food and the ambience were very, very good. However, there is the main waiter who seems completely overwhelmed, unfriendly and sometimes even rude. He brings with him a strong restlessness and a negative charisma. We won't come back until he's gone. No guest wants to be served in such an unfriendly manner! The unfriendly waiter is a thing of the past. The food today was delicious as always and there was a very nice atmosphere.

UPDATE 3/17/24 Still “Our Favorite Vietnamese” between Bonn Nord and Remagen. And: the horrible main waiter is a thing of the past, EVERYTHING is great again!!!

We've been there a few times and have tried a few dishes. Everything is always beautifully presented, very tasty and the staff are very nice and quick! Yesterday we were particularly impressed by the sushi dishes and the sushi master. Top! Even delighted us with a birthday surprise in the form of sushi. We will definitely come more often!

There are many very good Asian restaurants in Bonn, but Saigon Garden really stands out! Very delicate and fresh food and great service. There are more classic Vietnamese dishes, but also variations that you haven't read before. In my opinion recommended. Update visit #3: consistently great experience. I found all the dishes I had very tasty and the service was great every time.

Delicious food with very fair prices, attentive and very friendly staff. We were very short in time about which we told to our waiter - he said that there is no problem, went to kitchen and our order arrived just in few minutes. Also, he was so kind to show us the way and routes to get to the train station. It's not just client, but human oriented service!! We enjoyed our lunch in Saigon Garten, next time in Bonn we will be back!

Herausragend finde ich den kompetenten und sehr freundlichen Service und auch die gute Beratung, weil ich mir ob der schönen Auswahl nicht entscheiden konnte - das habe ich so selten erlebt. Hier werde ich garantiert bald wieder essen :-)

Simply put, this is one of the best restaurants in Bad Godesburg. The food is amazing - I usually order food from the Nudel Gerichte section of the menu. The most recent visit (pictured) I had the Mien Xao noodles with tofu (73). My partner had the Pho Xao with duck (72). We also order appetisers of tempura prawns and vegetable spring rolls, both of which are delicious. The portions are a good size. Food is well prepared and tasty. The service is also very fast and the staff are friendly and helpful. Price of the food and alcohol is reasonable, with our "rechnung" coming to £49 for the two of us, which included two bottles of beer. You won't find better Asian/Vietnamese food in Bonn!

Delicious food but also warm and welcoming which is not usual in Germany. It is evident they take a lot of care in the quality of the products, the fish for example is great. The sushi chef is friendly and also is at the level of high end sushi restaurants. All great, fully recommend it.

Wir waren an einem Freitagabend mit Reservierung zum ersten Mal da und waren in jeder Hinsicht sehr positiv überrascht. Schon beim Betreten waren wir von der angenehmen Einrichtung angetan und dann von der Auswahl auf der Speisekarte, die war reichlich aber nicht so überfrachtet wie bei Anderen. Der Service war top - immer im richtigen Moment am Tisch und sehr freundlich. Und das Essen als auch die Getränke (u.a. hausgemachte Limonaden und vietnamesischer Kaffee mit schokoladigem Geschmack) waren köstlich und schön angerichtet. Wir freuen uns schon auf's nächste Mal.

Es gab eine minimale Panne und wir haben zusätzlich ein anderes Gericht bekommen. Dieses wurde nicht verrechnet und es gab Eis aufs Haus inklusive Entschuldigung. Das fand ich super! Essen war auch tiptop besonders für den Preis. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Sehr leckeres und Authentisches Essen. Preis Leistung ist absolut vorhanden. Pro Person etwa 25-30€ und man ist satt und freut sich wieder zu kommen.

Service: Die Bedienungen sind sehr unterschiedlich auf Zack. Der Oberkellner war der Beste. Hektisch ohne Ende, rennt seine eigenen Kolleginnen fast über den Haufen. Diese Hektik ging mir auf den Zeiger. Er pfuschte immer irgendwo beim Bedienen der Kolleginnen am Tisch der Gäste dazwischen, obwohl es keinen Anlass dazu gab. Im Akkord die Vorspeise gelöffelnt, da er schon nach 10 Minuten mit dem Hauptgang anmaschiert kommt. Mit einer saudoofen Ausrede - die Küche sei schuld. Das Essen war nicht gut gewürzt. Das kann der Vietnamese besser. Da hilft auch das Sojagewürz und die scharfe Soße am Tisch nicht viel. Ambiente: Kantinenstandard Schade eigentlich - da hätte man mehr draus machen können. Gesamtnote: 4- Leider keine Weiterempfehlung.

Wir waren gestern Abend zu Besuch. Das Essen war super lecker und auch meiner Meinung nach authentisch Vietnamesisch. Nur die vegetarischen Frühlingsrollen waren einfache TK-Ware, die mit Fleisch nicht (oder hatten eine viel bessere Qualität). Das ist wirklich schade, wenn es daran lag, dass die „guten“ Frühlingsrollen ausverkauft waren, dann sollte man lieber gar nichts anbieten als diese „Frühlingsrollen“.

Das Essen ist wirklich lecker und authentisch. Jedoch ist seit einiger Zeit ein Kellner dort, der unerträglich ist. Er ist unfreundlich, nervig und mega unangenehm. Solange er da ist, gehen wir nicht mehr dort essen. Was sehr schade ist. Dieser Kellner vergrault wirklich die Gäste! Hey Besitzer, hier gibt es so viele Beschwerden über diesen Kellner, warum schmeißt ihr ihn nicht raus? Er schadet dem Ruf des Restaurants!

Went here with my sister for her birthday and we both ordered „Fried Noodles“. It was amazing! The lightly spicy curry soup was a great addition to noodles. The personnel is very welcoming and nice. Will definitely come here again.

Wir waren Anfang Oktober hier zu zweit essen. Das Essen war lecker. Die Bedienung, insbesondere die männliche, war hochgradig unfreundlich. Schroff und aggressiv im Ton. Wir werden hier nicht mehr hingehen.
