The atmosphere is fantastic: cute and cozy, done with love. Very clean, the staff is polite and friendly. I ordered the glass noodles with chicken: they tasted and looked great, and they prepared them quickly. I'd be happy to come back.

We enjoyed it; the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very cozy. We'd be happy to go again.

This was our second visit, but not our last. We had the warm appetizer platter for two, the Saigon duck, a bowl of lukewarm glass noodles and strips of beef fillet, and the tapioca pudding. Everything was freshly prepared and beautifully served. Thanks to the entire team for a truly enjoyable evening. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

Saigon Garden – Friendly, but not convincing in terms of taste and temperature The Saigon Garden on Alte Bahnhofstraße in Bonn-Bad Godesberg makes a well-kept and inviting impression at first glance. The service was friendly and courteous, which we greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, the food didn't really suit our tastes. As lovers of Vietnamese cuisine, we were looking forward to authentic flavors – but the dishes seemed more European-style and lacking in spice. The typical fresh, aromatic character of Vietnamese food didn't come through for us. Additionally, the food was unfortunately served lukewarm to cold, which further spoiled the overall impression. Especially with soups or wok dishes, you expect something different. Of course, tastes and expectations are individual – those who prefer mild dishes might still find something to their liking here. Conclusion: Friendly service, pleasant ambiance – but the taste wasn't authentic enough, and unfortunately, the food was served cold. Not a place we would visit again.

Really delicious if you go there, but if you order by phone, you'd better know exactly which number you want – because nobody speaks enough German to give you any advice or understand you :( Also, a handful of the dishes are unfortunately not worth 15 euros – so be careful what you order ^^

Thank goodness I've finally found a good restaurant again. The food is incredibly delicious. I've been here twice now. I've ordered a variety of dishes, each one delicious. My companions had nothing to complain about either. Quite the opposite; they were also very satisfied and enthusiastic. The staff are also very friendly. There's never a long wait. I'd say it definitely depends on the time of day, though. But even if I had to wait a bit, knowing what I'm doing, I'd be willing to pay. I hope the staff stays as friendly and the food as tasty. The price/performance ratio is also decent. What I didn't like so much was a takeaway meal. I think eating in is better/more pleasant. But that's probably a matter of opinion.

I've been there a lot now and tested it a lot. Starters and main courses are very good. Lots of choice. The homemade lemonades are a blast. There is also a large selection of sushi. Civilian prices. Card payments are now also possible.

When you do, you’ll be rewarded with vibrant, balanced flavors and consistently well-prepared meals. The freshness of the herbs and the authenticity of the broths stand out. Whether it’s a fragrant pho or a light rice dish with grilled meat and vegetables, the kitchen shines when it keeps things simple and traditional. Service is another strong point. The staff are not only attentive and friendly, but genuinely committed to making guests feel welcome. There’s no rush, no artificial politeness—just quiet efficiency and kindness that complements the food well. As for dessert and coffee: Vietnamese cuisine has many virtues, but pastry is not among them. A perfect way to round off the meal is to cross the street and enjoy dessert and coffee at the excellent café Epi, directly opposite. The contrast works beautifully. In short: Saigon Garden is not about flash or fusion, but about quietly convincing, honest cooking—and a staff that seems to care. Choose wisely from the menu, and you’ll have a very satisfying experience.

The sushi was incredibly delicious. The waitress who prepared and served the sushi was extremely friendly. However, the waitress seemed unhappy with our seating choice, even though we had asked her beforehand if it was okay. As a result, she seemed a bit brusque and served and billed too quickly.

It started out promising when it opened, but by now it's just another Germanified Asian restaurant that no longer tries to be authentic. I wish they stuck to the Vietnamese menu, and did it right. The people are very nice though, but I don't think I'll be coming back, unless the food becomes worth it...

One of the truly good Asian restaurants in Bad Godesberg. I went for lunch and got a nice seat by the window. It definitely pays off to make a reservation in advance. I chose the spring rolls and the Pho soup with tofu while my friend had the flying noodles. Everything was delicious, fresh and the portions were generous. This is definitely my new favorite restaurant in town.

The food is excellent and the service helpful. Unfortunately they use (poorly made) AI images in their menu. It gives an unrepresentative expactation of the food and a generally disingenuine appearance.

My husband and I have eaten there several times and it has now become our favorite restaurant in Bad Godesberg. Very friendly and attentive staff, the food is lovingly prepared and fresh! Every time it is a culinary experience. I recommend everyone to eat there and try out this delicious Vietnamese cuisine. There is also sushi there. We always went there for lunch: the atmosphere there makes you feel good. Always well attended but not uncomfortably crowded or loud. A thank you to the whole team.

Talking or writing a lot doesn't help much. You have to try it. Nicely decorated food and very tasty too. One or two drinks are a little too sweet for me, but of course it's a matter of taste. Luckily there is something for everyone. Definitely recommended!

Excellent food, gladly again. One point deducted because our table was right at the counter, behind which the cooking was open and plates were constantly being passed to the service staff. Our clothes also smelled like kitchen afterwards. Next time please try another table.

Unfortunately, service was a bit slow on the day of the visit, even though it wasn't too busy. But all the employees were friendly, so: It's fine!

The Saigon Garden in Bad Godesberg convinced me! The food was delicious and the portions were so big that I was full. The short waiting time was particularly positive. A really cozy girls' evening with delicious food, so lovingly and creatively prepared, it's a feast for the eyes. 👀 The service is attentive and quick. While we were eating we were asked if everything was okay. 👍 We had starter and main course. Both were simply delicious. 😋 Also the homemade rhubarb lemonade, refreshing and not so sweet. 👍 A lovely evening all around. Gladly again. 🤩 P.S. Reservations are an advantage as the restaurant was very busy on a Wednesday.

Absolute recommendation! We first had a small (holy) sushi selection, unfortunately without a photo, and then Mama Mango or Curry, each with chicken. And everything was sooooo delicious! Service attentive and very quick. Only our seat in the middle of the restaurant was a bit uncomfortable or restless in the passageway. When we're in Bonn again, we'll definitely stop by again!

I'm actually not a fan of Vietnamese cuisine, but I've changed my mind! The freshness and taste were great and convinced me. The lemonades were very good and went well with the food. All in all, the culinary journey is worth it and an enrichment in Godesberg!
