Moderate expectations, authentic beef pho, excellent banh xeo, and perfect service led unexpectedly to one of my favourite dining experiences in Berlin. Already planning a return trip for the shared fish and vegetable dishes. Very good.

We came spontaneously without a reservation, which is why we had to wait a while. The service was fine and the food was super tasty. Banh Xeo and Canh chua a must try!

I've been eating at this restaurant since I first came to Germany (2015-2016). Until now, I still occasionally visit the restaurant to eat banh xeo because in my opinion, SGCN's banh xeo is the number 1 delicious one in Berlin. However, the rest of the restaurant's dishes such as beef noodle soup, noodle soup... are really not as good as before. Good service quality, friendly waiters. But I don't think the food is delicious anymore. If I go back, I will only buy banh xeo.

It is situated in the heart of the vibrant area Schöneberg, easy to find the place. The Restaurant is huge and you cn sit comfortable in a group. Like many Vietnamese Restaurants, this one offers "normal Asian" dishes for tourist, but they also offer traditional dishes for people who want to roll the dices for the night. And the vietnamese dishes were really awesome, we took the fish in claypot and garlic fried vegetable. We absolutely recommend you this one for your visit to Berlin!

Food is good, but was deducted when paying, probably the tables were mixed up... I paid with a card and unfortunately only noticed it when I got home because I didn't get a receipt and didn't pay attention to it when paying (€68 for 2 meals and 2 tea Never 👎). So my mistake too 🤦 you have to be careful and not just trust

Excellent Vietnamese cuisine with authentic flavors! Bánh xèo in particular is excellent. Fresh ingredients, friendly service and a cozy atmosphere round off the experience. Highly recommended

Unfortunately, nothing happened on the second attempt either. There is exactly one vegetarian main course, even the soups with tofu are made with meat broth. The service is very slow and the sauce was completely forgotten in my dish. It was rather bland and unfortunately herbs were saved. It's a shame, but we won't be coming back!

You can still work on the friendliness a little bit, but the food is very tasty and inexpensive, and in any case authentically Vietnamese, because a lot of Vietnamese eat here too. Absolutely recommended.

The food and drinks were very nicely prepared and tasty. I can highly recommend the passion fruit lemonade. The prices are expensive but not overpriced, but the service leaves me disappointed.

Just now, at night, around 8pm to 9pm, me and another friend went to the restaurant. We ordered 1 serving of banh xeo and 1 serving of rice cake. 1. After eating, we both had stomach aches and diarrhea right after. As a Vietnamese, I want to give some feedback to this restaurant, so I should check the quality of their food. (I think maybe the pancake dough was not cooked yet, I'm not 100% sure, but when I was eating I saw a few places like that, because I thought it was green beans so I didn't tell the staff, the restaurant was also crowded at that time) Service is very ok except for the food. For 49.30€, I think it's not worth spending money to eat and then having a stomach ache like that.

We had Pho bo and the large appetizer platter for two. Unfortunately it was only mediocre, as so often the herbs were saved. The chicken skewers were extremely dry and tough, you could hardly eat them. The various rolls were also quite dry. The pho soup was a little weakly seasoned. But the service was good.

A Saigon restaurant that is not yet known to many people. The rice noodles and other dishes are all plentiful. The quantity is good for the price and the taste is good. A restaurant that will become famous. It was a nice place because it was friendly.

Bahn Xeo was really crispy and served with lots of lettuce, fresh herbs. Pho Rindfleisch was really good as well served with limes like a real Viet place. Def will come back for those 2 dishes.

Had a spontaneous meal there, super tasty - large enough portions - sometimes even didn't finish it and friendly staff.

The Bún bò lá lốt (rice noddle with grilled beef wrapped lolot leaves) was nice, though I wish the leaves taste stronger. Inside the restaurant was quite hot, more ventilators would be nicer.

Since it is my first visit to Berlin and this restaurant was recommended, I went there. I haven't tried other Vietnamese restaurants so I can't compare. For Berlin I would say great authentic Vietnamese restaurant. The Pho soup with the noodles was very strong and flavorful. The braised shrimp with rice was also great. I also see a lot of Vietnamese who visit the restaurant because it tastes like home to them. So it's currently the best Vietnamese in Berlin because I can't compare it but it's definitely better than some restaurants in FFM.

Always order the same dessert. Today it didn't taste good at all, just like fish 🤨. Either coconut milk is bad or it was mixed with matcha, because unfortunately that's what it tastes like. It's a shame, that's the only reason I like eating there.

It must be said that the portions are generous and very affordable. The No. 22 mixed powder seasoning is not very appetizing, but the accompanying broth is very fragrant and delicious. The snack platter was in vain, but the Vietnamese pancakes did not disappoint. Add a piece of rice paper, roll up the vegetables and pancakes and eat them with sauce. It is delicious and fun. The drinks are also pretty good. I also make longan, lotus seeds and red date soup at home. I drank the iced version for the first time and it was pretty good.

The food is really good or very mediocre depending on what you order. I love that they offer Vietnamese desserts and the one I had was quite good although there was a miniscule amount of the green bean paste that I love. The worst part is they fumbled the pho. No herbs like basil just cilantro. They don't offer pho tai and the meat was overcooked and the broth is very unremarkable.

Unbelievably disgusting, a fly would be discovered in our food, the waiter would be informed and all he would get was a sry, you couldn't tell that he was really sorry. The glasses had many small white spots that were not cleaned. Strangely enough, the food was served two minutes after we ordered, we suspect the food had been there for a while and it was just warmed up. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

Really tasty food. I had the Vietnamese pancake and it was super delish. Also seems to be the go to for most regulars there. Important to note is that they take both cash and card -which we love- and splitting the bill was also no problem. Free WiFi and restrooms are also available. Although the bathrooms are in the basement which is (as far as I can tell) only accessible through a staircase.

Interesting menu Chinese at the end They have quite a big menu containing different choices and some of them I didn't see them before. I of course have no idea if they are authentic but I do think they are. Pho was quite ok but nothing special. The appetizer is not my cup of tea but definitely an interesting choice. They also offer good deserts. Good food, worth a try Some of the dishes have not been seen in other restaurants and are worth trying. I'm not sure if it's an authentic Vietnamese meal, but it looks similar

Excellent. Delicious food, good service, clean and well decorated place, and they serve you quickly. We ordered a tray with several specialties for 2 people to eat and it was a good portion for each of us. If you come to Berlin, it is a great plan to see Urban Nation and eat here. 10/10.

The service is arrogant, the red wine was at room temperature = 30°! You don't have to drink wine, but the fact that the shrimp were old and therefore difficult to separate from the shell is annoying.

We passed by and were struck by several dishes that a good number of Asians were eating at the tables outside. We sat down, and it was late for Berlin. We were three people and we ordered three dishes (one of them a variety of very delicious starters). We can hardly handle them. And they tasted very good. Magnificent.

I went to business lunch today. ordered 2 meals plus drinks. I asked the waiter to serve my duck with spicy red curry and asked if we could get coriander with both meals. this was affirmed. The food was served, but without coriander, there was no sign of it being spicy. I asked the waiter for coriander and hot sauce. He said there is no coriander with this meal. I asked again if there was coriander, he said yes and I told him I wanted coriander and if that was a problem, I would pay for it too. We were given a medium-sized plate with various herbs, including coriander. The two meals were prepared completely carelessly and we had to add a lot of seasoning to create a taste. The bill then showed 3.50 euros for coriander / salad. Of course I paid for everything and took the rest of the coriander take away with me. For me this was definitely the last visit to this restaurant. The service obviously has no desire to respond to guests' wishes and the cooks prepare the food listlessly and blandly. I know the shop is busy at lunchtime, but for me this restaurant is no longer worth visiting. It's a shame, I love Vietnamese food and know what it should taste like. Fortunately, there are other restaurants that treat their guests as one would expect.

En un mot "j'adore" !!! J'ai passé quatre jours à Berlin, c'est simple, j'y suis allée tous les jours. Un vrai bon plan ! Fraîcheur, qualité des mets, c'est très goûteux et les proportions sont bonnes, bref, tout est parfait du début jusqu'à la fin.

I've eaten here several times in the last few weeks. What strikes me as particularly negative is the unfriendly staff. If it's a little busier, you have to ask several times for the menu and service. Every question is accepted without reaction. Appetizer plates and omelet are always good. Today we also had a curry duck which is very dry. reheated several times and was bland. Unfortunately, the restaurant does not offer consistent quality in all dishes.

Tasty typical Vietnamese food. During lunch, the order took 10min. Friendly staff, fair prices and highly recommended from my Vietnamese wife! :) You can park by car in front of the restaurant for circa 3€ for 1h Also enough space to sit outside during summer

Had the tofu pho which was good but the papaya salad was limp and totally boring. Prawns in the salad was not fresh. Totally disappointed.

It's a shame. I came here with another Asian friend. I expected it to be authentic. We came here specifically for the Bun Bo Hue, but there was no blood tofu in it. Very disappointing. Now I have to search again to find a restaurant where you can eat authentic Bun Bo Hue. However, the taste is really unique and very tasty. Unfortunately, I may not be willing to return here anymore.

Average food : crispy duck was lack in crispiness and flavour, mango sauce was kind of too sweet and it did nit go well with the duck. Could have added some spiciness to make it better. Atmosphere looks good Service was fine, could be improved and see how they reply to your review below , how rude! So taking 2 stars out of service. Update: reply to the comments, it’s the item in the menu I am talking about, does it mean that only that noodle you mentioned is good there? For that price we paying, you should make sure it have good quality and taste! Where is your customer service??? So better remove other food item from your menu!!!

We were recommended this place by some Berlin locals during our stay as one of the best places to get Vietnamese food in the city, and I can't say we were disappointed. Located right next to Urban Nation if you're up for viewing some street art before or after, Saigon Com Nieu also has a comprehensive menu (with plenty of veggie options, mostly substituting meat for tofu) and we really enjoyed our pad thai and green curry. The drinks were delicious too - especially recommend the lemonade!

The last time i was here was about 8 years ago, and that wasn't a great experience. The food was mediocre and very MSG-heavy. I gave it another try this time and they didn't disappoint! The service was quick and friendly, despite the language difficulties by the staffs. Price wise is also fine in this economy, not too pricey for the quality they delivered.

Our food came super quickly, was authentic, tasty and cheap too. Therefore a clear recommendation. If necessary, reserve a table in advance, otherwise it can be difficult to get a seat.

Super light and crispy bun xeo as promised! I'm traveling and this place was recommended by a local Viet woman and it did not disappoint. The food is delicious and affordable. Decor is modern Vietnam. The diners included a mix of Germans and local Asians,, which is always a good sign.

I have wanted to visit this restaurant for a long time because it is close to me. Big disappointment. Pasta and meat are extremely fatty and therefore almost inedible. The sauce was only served for one meal and it is a regular ready-made sauce from a bottle. Service is practically non-existent. For this price - very poor.

Vietnamese restaurant in Berlin. Its my first time eating vietnamese food so I cant compare with anything but it was very tasty and unique. We got a soup and a starter for two and it was more than enough food for the two of us. Total bill around 30 euros so its pretty affordable. We got food in a very short time. Recommended

I went to the restaurant but the waiter's attitude was as if I was coming in to beg for free food 🙂, everyone's face looked like they had lost their rice book, too bad, probably thinking that we Vietnamese don't eat much, so we don't need good service. like a good attitude, the drinks are poorly made, and even then they come out late, order 2 cups of lemonade, 1 cup with low sugar but the waiter doesn't say which cup is low sugar or normal, then the person orders low sugar and drink a lot of sugar 🙂 It's true that going out to eat costs money and also takes away fun

I had lunch here yesterday, highly recommended. I chose red curry with duck. The food was high quality and a real treat for the palate. The staff was also extremely friendly and accommodating.
