SAHAN SOMALISCHES Restaurant in Darmstadt

We went there for the first time today. The food was delicious, and we even got a few sambusas to take home with us afterward. The price is absolutely reasonable, and the portions were really generous. The people at the restaurant were all super friendly! We'll definitely be back next time we're in town. I was super satisfied ❤️

The minister of Mogadishu, Farah Aidid, ate here in this top-notch, upscale restaurant. It was a bit expensive, but no matter, the main thing is that there's dessert. Normally, you also have to bring your own food into the kitchen when doing repairs (such as a bike). It would be a shame if Isa were still alive. 😑 schuwww 🚲 💨 The kitchen is top-notch, there's oil everywhere, weird what's baklava doing in a Somali restaurant 🤔 and chicken wings, hmm, you feel like you're in a 🤡, and all the traffic lights nearby are full of oil, like at Lidl in Pfungstadt near Abdischukur.

Go there and try it. Lamb meet "Bariis and hilb adi" taste good and 15EUR for lamb meet is good. For me better than ordinary kebab. Quite place for dinner with friends.

As a Somali walaalo (brother), I once asked if I could get a piece of dough and they refused. It would only cost 2 euros. It wasn't nice and in our culture you don't do that. I am sometimes disappointed in my people even though I was born abroad. As a German Somali, I find that many things in culture sometimes have negative aspects. It doesn't hurt to help a poor person who is hungry once a day. The cost was only 2 euros, which I might have paid in a few hours. MSc

There isn't much choice. The food is prepared once at some point and then constantly placed in the microwave. There are no prices and in the end we paid a lot for little and the food wasn't even fresh. There are flies everywhere on the food in the kitchen. 80% of the images here have nothing to do with this and are from Google. Everyone listens to something loud (YouTube etc.) that is very disturbing and disrespectful. I hate writing this. But I have to because I had a date and would be deceived by all the “good reviews and pictures”. I looked at all of them and think that they are also fake or bought.

The best thing is to swim in the pool with a freshly baked bread from the stall in front of the door 😂 One of the authentic reviews here 👍🏻
