The burgers are very tasty and the atmosphere is pleasant in the evening. A spicier sauce on the burger would have been nice.

Beautiful, imaginative menu that made you want to eat in advance. Good but not too large selection of dishes and drinks. Everything we ordered tasted very good. Miscellaneous Burgers, fries, salad with delicious dates and raspberries. Everything was very fresh even late in the evening. Very nice but not intrusive service staff. We felt very comfortable. The location is great, we sat outside with a view of the cable car entrance. Thank you for the enjoyable moment. Stay chilled out, we found the atmosphere very nice.

We ate burgers, fries and nuggets there. The food was very good and, above all, homemade. The house sauce was particularly delicious. There is a star deduction because the restaurant does not have its own toilet and you always have to use the public cable car and therefore have to pay for it every time. With a small child who has to pee pseudo every 10 minutes, this was very annoying.

First of all: I haven't read such funny and imaginative names for dishes in a long time 😍 There should be an extra point for that! We only had burgers across the board (except for currywurst) and all the dishes were to die for! Even our vegan friends had a choice and were able to choose from at least 5 dishes - because you could also order some vegetarian dishes vegan and there were also purely vegan dishes. The respective dishes are marked in the menu and therefore the selection was easy to make. The decoration is an additional plus point, adding slightly playful and magical (or witchy 🤔😏) accents. The reservation online also worked perfectly, even though there was less going on that Sunday. A table had been prepared especially for us and so the evening was really nice and delicious at the end. 🥰 All in all: we would love to come here again when we are back in the Harz Mountains.

Practical location right next to the Burgberg valley station. A good selection of many different burgers and also a large vegetarian selection. The service was good and friendly. The food was very good. The ambience is more like a snack bar but there's nothing wrong with that.

So... the service was attentive and kind. The drinks came quickly. The food (everyone had burgers) as well. As a hobby chef, I'm actually a bit spoiled when it comes to burgers. But I couldn't find anything to complain about here. The patty was freshly made, as was the bun. The fries were crispy. Heart, what do you desire more? It can be so easy. Good mince... fry... a fresh bun... some jalapeños, cheese and salad to garnish... done! This burger is easily one of my personal top ten best burgers. That's why the price is still okay (if I didn't like it, I would definitely have said so!). Yes, it's cheaper at Mäckes, but not better. Okay, enough rambling. What is negative here?🤔 I could certainly find something, but I haven't found anything serious. So thank you for this delicious burger. I will gladly come again.

Wer einen leckeren Burger mag, gern eine außergewöhnliche Curry-Wurst essen und auf Pommes Frites nicht verzichten möchte, der ist im Restaurant Sagenhaft in Bad Harzburg bestens aufgehoben. Aber auch Salat-Fans kommen nicht zu kurz. Wer nach einem Stadtbummel oder einer Wanderung großen Hunger hat, kann seine Kräfte im Sagenhaft hervorragend auftanken. Dann fällt es leichter, die letzten Schritte bis zum Groß-Parkplatz zu gehen. Ich finde es gut, dass es auch Außenplätze gibt, wo man seine Speiesen zu sich nehmen kann. Die Wartezeit, bis die Bedienung einen betreut, ist verhältnismäßig kurz, die Speisen haben eine übliche Größe.

Were on our vacation in Bad Harzburg. In the evening while looking for food we passed the Legendary. Which is located directly at the valley station of the Burgbergbahn. Got a table straight away. Ordered a limo. And we were really in the mood for a burger. I think we were right. Food came. You could also watch it sizzle. It was well prepared and tasted great. Fully fed, we continued on. So take a look and definitely enjoy it.

I love the fabulous! We always eat here occasionally and on special occasions. They even decorated the table for my birthday! Very nice waiters, great food and nice atmosphere. 5/5, I can't recommend it enough!

After our hike from the castle mountain and the treetop path, we stopped at the Sagenhaft and had the food (great selection of burgers) and were very happy with our choice. The waiter was friendly. We got a seat quickly. We'll be happy to come back on our next visit to Bad Harzburg

My girlfriend and I ventured into the restaurant without a reservation. The space inside was limited as some tables were already reserved. We were seated at a table and told that we only had 1.5 hours because that's when the reservation arrived. Since the door was open at the front, it got a little chilly, so we asked for another table that had just become available. The service person with the blonde hair then made a very annoyed impression and spoke to us somewhat rudely. We didn't feel very welcome, but the food was good. Last visit our experience was similar with the same lady. Since we pay at the front counter, we forgot to leave a tip. You could clearly tell how much that annoyed her, as there wasn't even a thank you or goodbye. It's a shame because the store is otherwise really good. The toilet situation is also not ideal, as you have to pay additional money to be able to use it at all.

A bit skeptical at first because the restaurant is right next to the parking lot and the cable car and well. BUT great burgers and delicious sweet potato fries (finished exactly to the point) combined with super nice service. I would go there again at any time.

We went to this cafe for a coffee after our trip from the Treetop Walk. The waitress, presumably the boss (blonde hair), was extremely unfriendly, looked grim, no thanks or goodbye. The burgers looked really tasty but in my opinion way too expensive. But 5 stars for the ambience.

Before our visit to the restaurant, my friend and I had reserved a table for two people using the "Table Reservation" button. I received confirmation within 30 minutes. Yesterday the time had come :) at 6 p.m. the restaurant was filled with a few tables, drinks and food were picked up and brought out quite quickly, we both had a burger and fries and sweet potato fries. Everything was very fresh and tasted delicious, the location was also very chic and modern with a direct connection to the cable car. For 2x burgers (Hexenzauber (Camembert) & The Beautiful Forester) + 2x fries each, 3 drinks €49.70 - and you'll feel full. Clear recommendation, we would love to come back 😊

Burger war sehr lecker Pommes gingen gar nicht total versalzen. Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Nach dem Besuch der Schlittschuhbahn sind wir anschließend essen gegangen. Wir waren wieder einmal sehr zufrieden. Das Essen schmeckt einfach so atemberaubend gut, der Service ist total freundlich und man muss nicht lange auf sein Essen warten. Immer wieder gerne.

Was für ein süßes und gemütliches kleines Lokal! Ein mit Liebe gestalteter kleiner Gastraum, direkt an der Talstation der Seilbahn und vor der Sole-Therme gelegen. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen aufmerksam und kinderfreundlich, die Gerichte sind mit fantastischen Namen bezeichnet, liebevoll auf den Tellern arrangiert (hier ist das Auge mit!) und sehr lecker. Das Preisniveau der Gerichte ist angemessen. Wer nach einer Wandertour o.ä. eine gemütliche Stärkung braucht, ist hier sicher gut aufgehoben! 👍

Freundliche Bedienung. Das Essen kam sehr schnell und war lecker. Ich hatte noch nie so knusprigen Bacon auf einem Burger und meine Begleitung war begeistert von der Soße die es zu den Süßkartoffel-Pommes gab. Wenn ich mal wieder in Bad Harzburg bin und hunger kriege weiß ich wo ich hingehen kann.

Hier waren wir nach einer langen Wanderung eingekehrt um noch was zu essen. Wir hatten auch ohne Reservierung Glück und bekamen einen Platz. Aber grundsätzlich würde ich gerade in der Saison eine Reservierung empfehlen. Nach geringfügigen Anlaufschwierigkeiten konnten wir dann endlich unsere Bestellung aufgeben. Im weiteren Verlauf konnten wir Bestellungen umgehend platzieren. Wir sind wohl zu einen stressigen Moment aufgetaucht. Der Abzug beim Ambiente ist der etwas engen Gestaltung und damit verbundener Akustik von Nachbartischen verbundenen. Wir mögen Kinder. Aber ein Kind, welches über 15 lauthals mitteilt, dass alles doof ist, es das Essen nicht mag und so weiter, zerrte nach dem langen Tag schon an den Nerven. Aber wir kommen trotzdem gerne wieder!

Einfach super! Die gut durchdachten Speisen waren sehr lecker und wurden schnell zubereitet. Das Personal war besonders freundlich und machte den Aufenthalt mit Baby sehr angenehm. Alles in allem top, jederzeit wieder!

Chapeau an den Koch, das waren mit die besten Burger, die ich je hatte. Da versteht jemand sein Fach, Fettgehalt der Patties ist bei den gewünschten 20-25% damit die Burger Geschmack und Geschmeidigkeit beim Kauen besitzen. Fleisch hat zudem eine gute Qualität und wird mit ausreichend heißer Platte für Röstaromen zubereitet. Wie oft bekommt man in Restaurants diese fertig geformten viel zu fetten Buletten, die zäh sind und trocken und von der Größe her nicht zum gesamten Burger passen. Und auch der Käse ist hier ein anständiger Schmelzkäse, der auch wirklich ins Patty reinschmilzt und nicht wie eine unkaubare Gummidecke in dem Burger liegt. Als Hobbykoch bin ich wirklich Mal begeistert, wie man hoffentlich lesen kann ! :) Sogar die Chicken Nuggets von meinem Sohn waren die besten die ich bisher in einem Restaurant hatte. Richtiges, echtes Hähnchen, was anständig paniert und in Öl gebacken/frittiert wurde, das Endprodukt war frisch, saftig und einfach nur genial! Wenn man unten sitzt, scheint einen die Bedienung nur nicht ganz auf dem Schirm zu haben, aber wenn man dann bedient wird, war sie sehr freundlich ! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder !

Burger waren trocken und haben kaum Soße gehabt, die Pommes sind irgendwelche billigen die nicht wirklich lecker waren. Zum Ende beim bezahlen hat sich die Bedienung noch selbständig Trinkgeld eingesteckt ohne das ich etwas gesagt habe… Ich würde nicht nochmal hin.

Zwingend zu empfehlen, wer Top Service und gutes Essen haben möchte. Vom Empfang bis zur Rechnung alles eine Wohltat. Lange nicht mehr so entspannte, freundliche und vor allem Allen Gästen (egal ob Jung, Alt oder mit Einschränkungen) gegenüber so zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter erlebt. Dazu eine super nette Beratung zum Essen mit dem Hinweis, was man kombinieren kann und was man auch weglassen kann für günstiger und vor allem mit dem Hinweis, dass man dann weniger wegwerfen muss. Also kein Verkauf auf Zwang wie in anderen Lokalitäten. Essen Top, egal ob Burger oder Süßkartoffelpommes mit Pfirsich Dip. Trotz vieler Touristen keine Massenabfertigung, super Service, leckeres Essen und wer nett fragt, ein Lolly zum Abschied. 🤣

Wir waren spontan im Sagenhaft. Das Restaurant war sehr gut besucht. Trotzdem wurden wir sehr zügig und freundlich bedient. Der Service beantwortet Fragen kompetent. Die Burger sind sehr lecker, ebenso die Pommes. Gegen einen Aufpreis kann bei den Menüs die Beilage gewechselt werden, was ich aber in Ordnung finde. Der wirklich einzige Minuspunkt ist, dass wenn man das Restaurant betritt, die Abluft entgegenweht und man sich denkt, man sei in einer schlechten Pommesbude gelandet. Ist aber nicht der Fall, die Klamotten riechen am nächsten Tag nicht nach Pommesbude.

Essen mega lecker allerdings darf die Dame vom Service gerne mal geschult werden in Sachen Freundlichkeit und Service.. Hat uns lange im Eingangsbereich warten lassen trotz Blickkontakt und wenig Aufkommen. Unsere Getränke waren leer dort hätte sie gerne fragen können ob wir noch etwas möchten oder ob alles in Ordnung ist..

Erstmal vorweg, die Burger und Fritten schmecken ausgezeichnet :) Wir haben uns kurzfristig entschieden im Sagenhaft in Bad Harzburg essen zu gehen, die online Tischreservierung hat sehrvgut geklappt. Wir haben einen Tisch im Außenbereich gewählt, das Ambiente ist angenehm wenn auch die Hauptstraße recht nah und der Parkplatz vor einem, was aber nicht gestört hat und für eine gute Anbindung sorgt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, vielen Dank dafür, sehr guter Service. Hier kommt unser einziger Kritikpunkt der aber nicht am Restaurant liegt, "Bernd" 2 Tische entfernt war dermaßen laut am Reden.... es hat wahnsinnig genervt, zum Glück ging das nicht den ganzen Abend. Das bestellte Essen war ordentlich warm und sehr frisch zubereitet, natürlich dauert es ein wenig länger als im Schnellrestaurant aber das weiß man ja vorher und ist vollkommen in Ordnung und richtig so. Die Speisekarte ist sehr gut gestaltet, nicht zu viele Gerichte, genau richtig. Es wird hierbei auch auf Regionalität gesetzt was wirklich super ist, Brötchen vom lokalen Bäcker und Fleisch aus dem Harz, Hut ab sehr sehr gut. Beim Bier, Wolters ist es zwar regional schmeckt aber leider nur wenigen, zum Glück gab es eine Alternative vom Alternauer Bier. Die Bezeichnungen der Speisen ist wirklich sehr kreativ und gut! Wir haben uns für den Burger der Monats "cheesonator" und "die schöne Försterin" beides mit Pommes und Mayo entschieden, sowie eine Extra Soße "Sagenhaft Soße" (diese schmeckt gut ist aber sehr knoblauchhaltig, dies könnte man evtl in der Beschreibung ergänzen). Der Cheesonator war ausgezeichnet. Die schöne Försterin schmeckte auch sehr gut, hätte aber noch einen kleinen Kick in Geschmack vertragen können. Alle Speisen waren liebevoll angerichtet und präsentiert. Was man anschließend noch sagen muss, die Pommes waren ausgezeichnet! Bis zum letzten knackig und lecker. Preislich sind die Gerichte im Rahmen, sind natürlich durch die Regionalität ein wenig teurer aber dennoch im Vergleich bezahlbar. Die Toiletten sind im Gebäude des Kurparks, und sehr sehr sauber. Wir werden hier definitiv wieder essen gehen, aber dann ohne Bernd :D Klare Empfehlung.
