Safran Restaurant Stuttgart in Stuttgart

My first visit to Safran in Stuttgart. Parked at the Liederhalle, reachable on foot in a few minutes. The ambience is good. The staff was very friendly. Since part of the group wasn't there yet, the friendly lady started by ordering drinks. The starters were very tasty. Something completely different. The main course was really tasty. Kudos to the kitchen/cook. After this first visit it is clear that I will definitely come back here. Recommendation: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Ambience: 4/5

We ordered kobedeh, sultani, and leaves. The taste of the meats was excellent. We were very satisfied. It was really delicious. Yogurt, cucumber and mango yogurt are very attractive and fresh. It was also great to have a saffron drink. The behavior of the female staff was very respectful and friendly. The environment was good, but the bathroom was not neat and clean at all In general, the food was really great and delicious, and interestingly, we were the only Iranians there. All of them were German. This was very interesting to me and the reason is that the female German staff spoke almost like their mother tongue and were very professional.

We always enjoy coming here and each time we are even happier than the last time we visited. The food tastes fantastic and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The waiting time is communicated from the start, which we really appreciate - because anyone who wants fresh food is happy to wait for it. I love the atmosphere here and the music playing in the background - it makes the visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

All around outstandingly delicious Persian cuisine at fair prices. A small point deduction for the ambience (they made the best of the store) and that there is no card payment. But the very tasty food and friendly service make up for it

Don't come to this stupid place! They close at 10pm on Sunday. I came at 8:45pm and they said they are closing and no food for us. They should close down the restaurant if they don't want to do business.

Been there for the second time today. The vegetarian dish with beans was delicious and the service was also attentive and explained things on their own. The only complaint about the service is that the starters were served before the drinks. But in this case that is complaining at a high level. Unfortunately I didn't like the baklava.

Staff are nice and friendly. I had soltani as food which was soft and delicious. The rice was too oily and fat.The soup was delicious but very salty. Safran drink was very refreshing and delicious. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. We wanted to order salad but it was too expensive!!

Best Persian Restaurant! The grilled skewers are excellent, fresh and juicy and simply taste great. The service is also very friendly. We go here especially when we feel like Persian food.

We have been visiting this restaurant for a long time and every time we feel like we are at home in Iran. The kebab is grilled to perfection – juicy and not overcooked. It's a great choice for both Iranians and anyone who appreciates good kebab. The owner is often on site, goes to great lengths to provide the best and speaks Persian, which is particularly valuable to us.

The food is just okay but not even close to the real Persian food I've tried before. For this mediocre quality, the price is WAY too expensive. The staff were kind and friendly though.

On the way, I entered Stuttgart because of the desire for Iranian food, and at the suggestion of the lady in charge of the restaurant, I ordered a battered kebab with bread. Less than two minutes later, I requested that it be served with rice instead of bread, but the gentleman who behaved very disrespectfully told me that it was not possible and that the rice should be served. Order separately!!! The kebab was of very poor quality and a bit raw, the bread with the kebab was obviously not that day's, the behavior of the female staff was respectful, but the behavior of the male manager was very arrogant and rude. The price of a single skewer with bread without drinks is about 17 euros, not recommended at all.

We really enjoy eating here. For me, definitely the best Persian in the region!!!! Very, very fine cuisine!!! Simple but cozy atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit (or several :-)! Caution: cash payment only.

It is an excellent place with warm and friendly owners and staff. The owners, Manju and Sumit are very friendly and take good care of the clients. The food is delicious and they have a lot of variety to choose from. If you like to enjoy good Indian food, it’s the place to be.

I recently ordered the platter for two at Safran, and I must say, it's one of the best dining experiences I've had in Stuttgart. The food tasted incredibly authentic, and I can definitely see myself coming back again and again. The only downside is that they don't accept card payments, which can be a bit inconvenient. Nonetheless, the quality of the food and the overall experience more than make up for it!

The food is to die for! Fesenjan is super tasty, the service is warm. Always busy, it's best to make a reservation!

Very nice food with nice atmosphere, they have changed many of the recepies, so you get a modified version of original iranian disehs but the qualty is still good.

One of our favorite restaurants! The food is absolutely delicious, we particularly recommend the Fesenjan with its great grilled chicken skewer. You can tell that the restaurant is run with love for the dishes and guests!

The restaurant offers very poor service, very unfriendly and slow. The food was relatively expensive. Kebab was dry, salty and very small portion. You can't be full with just one portion. Afterwards I had to order two more things to make sure I was full. I would never go again, it was very disappointing. I definitely do not recommend this restaurant!!!

We decided to eat here on the spur of the moment this afternoon. The waitress provided information about the dish and very kindly informed us that the preparation of the food might take a little longer as it was quite busy. The food came very quickly and was a real culinary delight :) Well-seasoned sauces, tender chicken, fluffy rice and vegetarian dishes that worked well even without meat We will be happy to come back!

We had a very nice evening at Safran. The food was very tasty, starting with great starters, the eggplant, onion and feta cheese dip was a taste explosion. The main courses were also very good, very seasoned, nicely presented and all the meat skewers were tender and not dry. Very friendly, courteous service. The host gave us wonderful advice when ordering, as it was the first (but certainly not the last) time we were there.

We were there as a group and had a fun evening in a cozy atmosphere. The food was very tasty and the innkeepers were friendly and accommodating. Very happy again!

Last week we went to the restaurant with a large group (15). Despite the store being full, we were served super quickly and friendly, the food arrived for everyone at the same time and tasted simply fantastic! I live in Dubai and I have to say that Safran tastes better than any Persian restaurant in Dubai! Absolutely recommended, I'll go back any time I'm in Stuttgart.

The eggplant dip was very tasty! But not the rest! Meat wasn't cooked through and smelled unpleasant! The dishes were also questionable.

The food is simply indescribably delicious. There's nothing wrong with it, it just doesn't get any better. The food tastes well seasoned and authentic. Every single component in my meal from chicken to rice, okra and lentils, everything was perfect. The employees are also so warm and nice that you just feel comfortable. It is also very comfortably furnished. One of the best restaurants in Stuttgart.

It was very delicious and i liked it a lot. Altough it costs a lot. The food below you can see costs 17.90€ if i remember right. It seems not much at first, but it makes your stomache full :)) i can only recommend it. The reason for 4* is, that it took almost an hour to get our food, and the price. I can recommend eating here

The Safran Restaurant offers really delicious Persian and Oriental dishes. All the dishes we had can be recommended, but we already forgot their names immediately after ordering. The service was okay, there were two family gatherings, so the other tables had to wait a bit to be served, both for ordering and paying. The price was a bit higher than average dishes, but the food is definitely worth the money. Overall a great restaurant. It's probably not a good choice if you are looking for a fast meal.

Saffron restaurant in Stuttgart has a good menu, but the quality of the food was not good at all!! Grilled chicken was different with marinated and had a strange sour taste! Kobideh is usually served with onions and vegetables in restaurants. Napkin ! There was no salt, pepper or toothpick on the table! There was not even a salad with the dishes! The prices are very high, the quality is very ordinary, Qormah Sabzi and Fasanjan are not recommended at all, in terms of taste, it is not according to the original recipe!! The behavior of the restaurant owner was not friendly at all and very rude and rude! The smell of the toilet was evident in the corridor leading to the stairs and the restaurant area!! Not a good environment for guests! The food was served very late! The food itselt is mediocre (compared to other the quality that you'd expect from a persian restaurant), nothing special, yet expensive. My main problem is that a couple of people working there are not polite at all. We waited almost 50 mins for our food to get ready and when the food was finally on our table, my friend complained about the long waiting time. The waiter literally shouted at us. There was a moment of shock at the table. Such a rude guy. The guy behaves in a way that it feels like he's giving you the food for free and not in a charitable way, but rather being forced to do it!! The germans say the customer is the king. To this guy, apparently, the customer is the source of his problems and headaches. Try somewhere else if you want to try persian food.

Small, cozy restaurant in the center of Stuttgart, food freshly prepared (but everything came relatively quickly) service was nice and courteous and the food was simply a poem. I shared 2 starters with my husband and for the main course we ordered a small grill plate, the portions were very large. Price performance very very good. The starter Kashk e badenjar is highly recommended.

Wir sind als Familie Jahre lange Stammkunden, immer wenn es irgendwohin gehen soll zum Essen, ist die Entscheidung schnell getroffen. Wir sind immer und immer wieder bei Safran Resturant. Der Inhaber und die Inhaberin sowie die Mitarbeiter sind sehr herzlich, unsere 3 Kinder werden immer sehr verwöhnt und gut behandelt, was heut zu Tage eigentlich nicht mehr selbstverständlich ist. Das essen schmeckt so mega lecker, man muss es echt mal probiert haben. Es gibt keinen besseren Koch für mich auf dieser Welt! Lecker ! Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir gehen immer wieder gerne ins Safran: Ausgesuchte und gesunde Speisen, orientalische Gewürze, Essen ist leicht bekömmlich, zartes, frisches Fleisch und vor allem sehr liebenswerte Inhaber.

Von A bis Z katastrophal. Stühle sitzplätz0/10, essen0/10, man merkt das da ein hobbykoch am werk ist. Das fleisch hat nach bio mülleimer geschmeckt war komplett ungeniessbar. Ich kenne mich gut in persische küche aus weil ich aus da bin und fand das hatte sehr sehr wenig was mit orginale persische küche zutun. Erfundene gerichte zum teil sogar. Der übergewichtiger mann mit brille war sehr sehr unfreundlich und unangenehm. Fragte nach ein stück brot zu unseren essen und sein Antwort lautet : ne sowas gibts hier nicht hier ist das so bla bla bla. Muss dazu erwähnen das es immer zu 100% überall dabei sein muss in jeden iranischen Restaurant ob hier oder drüben.
