Ein authentisches neapolitanisches Café mit einem freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Inhaber in toller Lage. Das Essen und der Kaffee sind köstlich. Er bereitet alles frisch zu und ist mit Herzblut bei der Sache (er röstet seine Kaffeebohnen selbst und bezieht frische italienische Produkte). Ich hoffe, dieses Café bleibt uns noch lange erhalten – ein echtes Stück Italien mitten in Berlin.

Ein traditionsreiches italienisches Café, immer ein toller Treffpunkt in der Nachbarschaft, um einen sonnigen Tag mit traditionellen Leckereien und einem guten Espresso zu genießen.

Wir waren im April an einem Sonntagmorgen verkatert, müde und etwas benommen hier, um spät zu frühstücken und Kaffee zu trinken. Der Besitzer empfing uns mit guter Laune, Freundlichkeit und absolut köstlichem Kaffee. Wir aßen warme Ciabattas, die er frisch zubereitet hatte, und waren danach wieder fit, um über den Flohmarkt zu stöbern. Vielen Dank, dass Sie uns so gut getan haben, Sie waren eines der Highlights unseres Kurztrips nach Berlin ♥️

Der echter napoletanischer Espresso der Hauptstadt befindet sich hier ☕️ Es lohnt sich, hier vorbeizukommen um ein kleines Stück von Napoli zu genießen. Espresso, Cappuccino, Croissants, Wein und Essen schmecken hervorragend beim Safe Café. Dazu fühlt sich immer willkommen hier, da der Besitzer Sandro eine mega angenehme und sympathische Art hat. Bravo!!!

Abseits von Hipster Cafés findet man hier authentische Neapolitanische Kaffeekultur. Von der Einrichtung über den Inhaber bis hin zum Espresso ist hier wirklich alles authentisch und traditionell.

Klassisches kleines italienisches Café! Leckerer Cappuccino, süßes Gebäck und sehr herzlicher Service laden hier zu einer gemütlichen Pause ein.

Ich habe Sandro im Viertel Fhain besucht und kann bestätigen, dass ich dort den besten Espresso der Stadt getrunken habe – was für einen Italiener im Ausland ja nicht immer einfach ist. Sandrí si o mast! Bitte weiter so! ☕️

✅ Empfehlenswert Dieses gemütliche und einladende Café ist perfekt für eine kurze Kaffeepause. Die Kaffeequalität ist durchschnittlich, die Preise jedoch angemessen. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend, sodass man sich hier gut mit Freunden treffen kann. Wer eine ruhige Ecke zum Lesen sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Die Toilette könnte verbessert werden, ist aber sauber. Bar- und Kartenzahlung werden akzeptiert.

Sandro ist eine Berliner Institution. Geborgenheit ist sein Lebenselixier, und er empfängt seine Gäste mit dem Duft frisch gerösteten neapolitanischen Kaffees, seinem Lächeln und einem netten Gespräch in angenehmer, entspannter Atmosphäre. Absolut empfehlenswert.

The cappuccino isn't particularly good. Charging a 50-cent surcharge for oat milk and then only using the cheap house brand is pretty cheeky.

An absolute piece of gold in Berlin! The owner is very friendly and has the best pistachio croissant I have ever eaten. I can also only recommend the panini! All in all, an absolute culinary delight.

Beautiful homemade Italian dishes - today was Melanzane Parmigiana! We came in at lunchtime for a double espresso (the excellent coffee and warm welcome of the Safè Espresso Bar is quite famous in Friedrichshain) and we got a look at what was to come! Sandro showed us a whole tray of Parmigiana which he was preparing for the afternoon. We cut short our daytime expedition in order to come back later and enjoy a slice each of this fabulous Italian dish. Absolutely worth it! The generous layers of cheese, tomato, thinly sliced aubergine were a real treat and reminded me why this is my all-time favourite dish. Photos below.

Was closed, when it says that it should be open. I understand that there is always personal reasons, but would be nice to update the opening times in google maps next time.

There is no better way to start the day for me, the espresso and a little something to go with it are a must!! It's easy to be surprised by the incredible and authentic selection, but Sandro is there to advise you and serve me new specialties from Napoli almost every day. If you're looking for good coffee, loving people and nice conversation, this is the place for you!

Hi people, As a local Italian in Friedrichshain, I can only say the best espresso in the neighborhood and in all of East Berlin. It's not just about drinking coffee, it's about feeling comfortable and welcome, like a second home in the district. Croissants, cookies and everything tastes delicious! I have never tasted a worse Cappuccino in my life, from the taste I would say that the milk was already acidic.

We saw the crema caffè in the pics on Google and just arrived back from the airport we decide to enter. Sandro, the owner, is the typical ‘napoletano’ super welcoming and also he knows his stuff regarding coffee!!! The crema caffè was incredible light, full of flavours and really fresh, exactly what we wanted! He invited us the 16th of August to his famous Friday jazz night and we had a very good chat on Naples and all the objects he has in the bar…this is for real a Napoli temple!!! Great job, you bring a real piece of Italy to Berlin 🤩

I was fooled, it has so many positive reviews, and yet....Really good cappuccino and croissant, nothing can be said about that. But how dirty it was! Inside there was dust, grease, dirty cups and cups everywhere, it was 8:30 in the morning and there was no one there. Is it possible that a football team stopped by for breakfast in half an hour? And the dirt? Maybe it was an unlucky day, I hope next time it goes better. Normal prices for Berlin

I was uncertain whether to go to an Italian bar in Berlin, I thought it would be risky, to find a fake atmosphere and poor quality products, or even worse German/international/Italian fusion, which is the worst that can happen and is a frequent phenomenon . None of this. I entered this bar which reminded me exactly of Italian bars, welcoming, full of memories and a family atmosphere. Sandro welcomed me with a smile and already there I realized I had made the right choice, in a neighborhood that has an infinite offer of little places and bars where you can sit and eat something. I ate an excellent sandwich with quality products directly from Italy, and it showed. The coffee is produced directly by Sandro and his partner's roastery, and it is very good. The cappuccino was one of the best I've ever had (modestly, I'm Italian), but above all I was shocked by the curly puff pastry. I was frankly hesitant, because in itself it is not an easy product, especially if it is fresh/not fresh. When I tasted it it was like returning to Naples: fresh, crumbly, greasy (it's not exactly light), with the perfect ricotta cream. He produces them himself. Nothing to envy, in my opinion, to those of the famous Attanasio pastry shop.

This is an Italian espresso cafe that I often go to with my boyfriend, and the coffee and ciabatta are so delicious. Best Cafe in Sonntagstrasse!

Top! Brioche and cappuccino, and a spolverata di chiacchiere! Delicious food, different types of brioche, special coffee blend. Great vibe! An interesting, funny and special cast! In the afternoon and evening you can drink good Italian wine, or even be lucky enough to listen to some good jazz!

Hier gibt es ein ganz anständiges Frühstücksbuffet für 10€. Nichts besonderes, aber dafür immer noch besser als das Angebot in meinem Hotel.

Der beste Espresso, den ich bisher in Berlin genießen durfte. Eigens geröstete Bohnen, dazu ein Sfogliatelle. Fantastisch!

I discovered this bar by chance and what a wonderful surprise! I ate a delicious panino and drank the best espresso I have had since I moved here in Berlin! They make and sell their own blends (called Safè as the bar itself) that taste just like Naples coffe. Then I had two sfogliatelle (neapolitan typical pastry) that were just like a dream! Sandro, the owner, is a super kind and friendly person that let you feel like home! Thank you for bringing a piece of your house and culture here in Berlin! I definitely recommend this place and I’m gonna be there again soon 💫
