Sorry but in this restaurant the Peruvian food doesn't taste good

It tastes like Peru, incredible 👏🏼

As a Peruvian, I highly recommend this restaurant, is my favorite in Berlin!. We come back whenever we can because the food and the atmosphere are very authentic . This time we ordered a Piqueo as starter , anticuchos, seco de Cordero, Lomo Saltado , arroz con Mariscos and Pisco Sour, and everything was delicious as always. The only things I could recommend is to add a pollo a la brasa in the menu, that would make it perfect 🤩 also they could think on expanding to other areas like Potsdam, we come from there and I am sure there will be a lot of people that will love the restaurant there as much as we do.

The first time we came, in January of this year, we had a good experience. Unfortunately, this time, in August, some of the food was disappointing. The tiger's milk seemed like it had been salted twice; it was truly inedible. The chilcano was over-seasoned. The causa and the gallina were good. Apparently, they've changed chefs. Even the waitresses used to be friendlier and more attentive.

I ate Peruvian food here for the first time with two friends, and it did not disappoint! My dish was a 10/10. I also tried my friends' dishes, and I can say I thoroughly enjoyed them too! The main courses simply have a perfect balance between the different flavors—literally a symphony of flavors!

The food was disgusting, Peruvian as it was. The ceviche looked like onion soup with a bit of squid and no fish, and the lomo saltado had potatoes and onions. The only good thing was the beer and the Pisco was soothing.

We eat Peruvian food very often since my husband and we were disappointed about the Lomo Saltado. The meat was way too cooked and it was even hard to chew it and swallow it…it’s sad because the place itself, the vibe, and the rest of the diner was good.

I recommend the pisco sour!!! I went with a Peruvian friend, and she said it was quite good. I found it excellent, only the lomo saltado meat was a little overcooked, but the rest was delicious.

This was our first time having a Peruvian meal. Must say, it was very delicious. The server personal went above and beyond. We will definitely be returning.

Amazing food and incredible service, I forgot to ask their names (if I'm not wrong one is from Argentina and one from Peru) but they make the whole experience better ^^ I hope to back in the near future! As peruvian I would say, the anticucho is the best!! Must order it ^^ it was perfectly cooked. La jalea and cebiche mixto couldn't try it because I'm allergic to seafood but my boyfriend liked it. Aji de gallina was good and the mixed dishes from the starter is perfect to share or when you are looking to taste a lot of peruvian dishes. Only the chicha morada was a little watery and the empanadas are good but not peruvian style.

The food is delicious! The portions are large and the seasoning is excellent. We will definitely return.

I've been here with family for a while now, and the portions have been reduced and the prices are quite high. Understandable because everything goes up, but unfortunately the taste has also changed. It's missing the flavor, that Peruvian touch it used to have. Has the chef lived and learned to cook in Peru? That's the opinion of five people, and I hope the next time I go, it'll be back to where it was.

Unfortunately, the appetizer came with the main courses, which obviously doesn't make sense. When we asked, the waiter immediately said we had ordered it that way. Firstly, that wasn't true, and secondly, that's not very customer-oriented. For someone who's never eaten authentic Peruvian food, the food is probably quite good, but anyone familiar with the originals will notice significant differences. It's also important to note that the service appears to be only in Spanish or English. Spanish is still understandable in a Latin American restaurant, but English? Of course, that's apparently the new trend in Berlin, but in reality, it's just classist! The average price for main courses is around €20. But the menu is available online.

Everything was excellent, excellent. The Causa Limeña was a bit salty, but otherwise all the dishes were excellent, both with and without meat. The pisco was very well prepared. The anticucho was particularly outstanding. Thank you, we'll be happy to return. Highly recommended.

The food was okay, but lacking in flavor. All the dishes at the table were tasteless. The kitchen has declined considerably. What a shame.

We were seated on the patio with a larger group and it felt like we were all by ourselves. The service was very good and the food was phenomenal! I have been to Peru many times and the food is authentic. I highly recommend the maracuyá sour, the causa de pollo, yuquita frita and the lomo saltado. We also tried the 3 desserts and the mousse de maracuyá was amazing. The alfajores and crema volteada were also tasty.

The food did have a Latin flavor, meaning it was authentic. The appetizer (ceviche, chicharrón, etc.) seemed a bit pricey for the portion. The service was very attentive and friendly.

I happened to pass by here today and wanted to enjoy some Peruvian cuisine. The menu featured a lot of fish. I chose grilled beef heart. I'd never eaten it before. It was really great. The service was very quick and friendly. Absolutely recommended!!!

This Peruvian restaurant is highly recommended. It's a different experience. We paid quite a bit, but we had a wide variety of dishes and appetizers, as well as plenty of cocktails.

A culinary highlight – authentic Peruvian! I've been wanting to try Peruvian food for a long time – and I wasn't disappointed. The food was not only delicious, but also noticeably freshly prepared and exotically spiced. I was particularly impressed by the mashed potatoes with yellow aji – creamy, aromatic, and simply something different. The chicha morada (a corn drink) also really won me over! The service was friendly, attentive, and professional, and we were able to end the evening relaxing at one of the cozy outdoor seating areas. A thoroughly successful evening – I'll definitely be back!

Wonderful explosions of flavor! I celebrated my birthday here and was treated to the best: a great pisco sour and a fantastic ceviche. Everything was fantastically delicious, served and accompanied by very attentive and friendly staff. Surprisingly peaceful in the west of Berlin.

We've been to Sabor Latino several times now and have been very satisfied every time! Authentic, unfussy Peruvian cuisine that's incredibly delicious...!! A clear menu featuring the highlights of Peruvian cuisine, along with various national drinks and a variety of delicious Pisco cocktails! The friendly and attentive service is excellent... although, when it's busy, which it often is, you may have to wait a bit longer for your food! That's no problem, though, as you immediately feel at home in the lively atmosphere and cozy ambiance! Highly recommended, and reservations are recommended! We'll be back again and again :)

I specifically said that I wanted the ceviche with the main course, but still came with the starter. The taste was ok, but I would have expected more for the price. Strangely, the octopus tasted like a rump steak on the grill, but not bad at all. A large bottle of water was also simply placed on the table and charged for without us even ordering it.

Four of us had dinner, including a Peruvian colleague. The food was really tasty and overall pretty authentic. The carpaccio starter wasn't my cup of tea, but the rest was even more convincing. The service was a bit slow, but completely okay - the store was busy. If you want to try something different and have a bit of variety, this is definitely the right place for you.

The meat was too tight and hard to chew. Both the beef (came well done) and chicken (had overcooked breast pieces) were not very tender or soft to eat. But, the empanadas were awesome and the rice + gravy with the dishes were really good. We were overall not very impressed even though it was recommended by a Peruvian friend.

It was my first time trying Peruvian food, recommended to me by a Peruvian friend, and I honestly didn’t know what to expect. I was genuinely surprised by how delicious every dish was! I highly recommend this restaurant—it’s fantastic.

Reservierung ist unbedingt nötig. Immer sehr gut besucht. Drinks sind authentisch und sehr gut gemacht. Weinangebot ist dürftig.

I can only recommend this place. I tried the cerviche with my companion: nice. My beef was good. And best of all: the pisco sours were in a class of their own.

The restaurant was very well attended. The only waiter made an effort. The appetizer platter was delicious. The main courses left a lot to be desired, which is why I'm surprised at the positive reviews. The beef was tough, the chicken dish was tasteless and unfortunately the civiche wasn't good either. Unfortunately, we didn't like the biscuit for dessert either. Too bad

The beef hearts and the Amazon with chicken strips were very tasty. The corn biscuits and caramel pudding were delicious.

Locale dall'atmosfera piacevole, raccolto in non molti metri quadri, collocato a un minuto o poco più di cammino dall'uscita della metropolitana di Berliner Strasse, con uno staff giovane e gentile. Mi piacerebbe dargli un voto migliore, ma il piatto di cedviche misto che sia io sia la mia compagna abbiamo mangiato, pur avendo pesce e polpo molto morbidi, era poco saporito e un po' troppo liquido: mancava di un adeguato tempo di macerazione e di un pizzico di sale. Molto buona la crema di maracuja, discreti i pisco sauer, buona la cicha morada. Ma, avendo ormai una lunga esperienza di ristoranti peruviani, non posso collocarlo sopra la media, così come nella media sono i prezzi. Nel nostro caso, per quanto descritto più un calice di vino, 78,50 euro. Comunque, un'esperienza positiva.

Latin flavor better said Latin failure. A chicha morada so bad if you serve it to a Peruvian it will kill you, it seemed Spülwasser direkt zurück gegeben. Fish CHICHARON 4 Pieces of fish with some old potatoes. It is normally served with yucca and a delicious sauce. The Salsa looked like REMULADE from Aldi THAT FOR 20 Euros you can say Chicaron from Frechheit. The Seco was cooked more or less delicious but for a dish for more than 20 Euros you cannot put peas and carrots from the can. It was cold in that place. Go to Köln to the Inca and get a taste of how Latin cuisine works. Kann man nicht empfehlen. It seems that it is so difficult to provide something good for more than 75 Euros for two People. As a Latino I felt robbed. Bad Berlin Latino Experiment. They ruined my night with what they served me.

I really liked going to this Peruvian restaurant, I personally love Peruvian food and it was delicious to eat here. As an observation it would be that we waited a long time for them to give us the menus and for the food to arrive, we had to ask the waiter for the menus.

A little piece of Peru in Berlin - that is probably the most appropriate description for this restaurant. The taste transports you straight to the coast in Lima. Not the cheapest meal, but definitely worth it. Extremely recommended!

I have been several times and the truth is that the food is very good. I highly recommend the yucas, the fish ceviche is delicious! I also recommend the empanadas, the chicharrón and the sautéed loin. To drink, pisco and chicha morada.

A very authentic Peruvian restaurant a little off the beaten path. The food is very tasty and prepared quickly. Of course, the ceviche in all its variations is particularly recommended. Of course, you should definitely order a Pisco Sour with it, which is available in large numbers over the counter. The service is obliging but also rather neutral and friendly. Interestingly, changing a side of fries for the very tasty mashed potatoes that was often served was not possible. 🤔 I would also have liked a little more attention in general. 😒 But admittedly the restaurant was well booked. That's the best sign of good quality👍🏼.

Honestly the best Peruvian restaurant in Berlin. Without modern pretensions and generous quantities. The ceviche was incredible and the loin exquisite. The service was also a good experience. We will return soon to taste other dishes on the menu.

It's a fantastic place with a great selection of fish dishes and other traditional Peruvian cuisine. Good place to eat - nice atmosphere- can invest more in the latino experience - the food is good but did not wow me.

We were there for the first time today. The food was good and the cocktails too. The restaurant overall is inviting and beautifully designed. Now to the part we didn't like so much. We had made a reservation and when we came to the restaurant we were told the table would be outside (with the outside temperature being 10 degrees). We were perplexed because our online reservation didn't say anything about the table being outside. Then of course we wouldn't have gone to eat there because it would definitely have been too cold for us given the temperatures. We were then seated at a table right at the exit but somehow we found that rude and strange. The table was uncovered compared to the other tables and no effort was made to change anything during the evening. In general we found the service too inattentive. If I make a reservation, I want to have a reasonable table like everyone else. That disappointed us.

Das Essen hat uns als Chilene und Peruaner vollends zufrieden gestellt. Es sind traditionelle klassische Speisen die authentisch und auf einem hohen Niveau zubereitet werden. Ebenfalls sind die Getränke authentisch Pisco Sour 10/10. Ich würde das Restaurant jederzeit weiterempfehlen!

Tastes like I know it from home, very authentic food, with apparently homemade chicha morada, but unfortunately the portions are hardly a fraction of what you know from Peru. For the price I left hungry, which was very disappointing. My mother was also only full of her plate of jalea because it consisted mostly of yuca. Ambiance, service, taste, you can't complain.

Great discovery in the neighborhood. An exciting change from the well-known cuisines and restaurants. Typical Latin American dishes are served that are beautifully presented and taste even better. I'm looking forward to gradually testing all the dishes and finding out what exciting flavors there are.

Como peruana y de visita en Europa quise probar mi comida peruana y me llevé una buena sorpresa comiendo en Sabor Latino, pedímos ceviche, causa, papa a la huancaina y aji de gallina, todo riquisimo y un precio justo. Muy simpaticos los q te reciben.
