Okay atmosphere, but portions completely overpriced. Not a cracker.

I was at NAUTA for the first time a few years ago and now last week for the second and unfortunately probably last time. Regarding the service: very friendly, attentive but - despite the restaurant being 80% empty - quite slow. It seemed like one person was sick/missing. Regarding the food: I personally didn't like the taste of it, but that's subjective. What bothers me is the price/performance ratio. Compared to before, the portions have really shrunk. The ceviche, for example, tastes great but is tiny for €22. Likewise the chicken roulade for €14 and is barely bigger than your thumb and goes down next to the pumpkin side dish. Unfortunately, the concept is no longer convincing and I'm curious to see how long you can stay in a top location with this price/performance ratio. I wouldn't be surprised if there's something different here in 6 months

The atmosphere and attention are definitely 5 stars. Lovely people and a very classy place. HOWEVER, the food is utterly overpriced for the quantity and quality. We were adviced to order 2 dishes per person, and I would say, that amounted only to the equivalent of a nice appetizer. The dishes are original I must say, but my salmon was quite dull.... not worth it.

The ceviche wasn't as special as it used to be, and the cassava fell short as well. The portion sizes have noticeably shrunk by half, yet the prices remain the same. Unfortunately, even the pisco wasn't up to the standard it once had. On a positive note, the atmosphere and music were enjoyable. However, the service was difficult to get, which added to the overall disappointment. I'm genuinely sad because the old menu and experience were much better. Now, it feels like they're focusing more on price than quality. 😕

Leckeres Essen, schönes Ambiente, freundlicher Service. Wie werden wiederkommen.

Freundlichkeit, Herzlichkeit, Geschmack mit Ausdruck, Leichtikgeit, Wohlgefühl, Gemütlichkeit… Das beschreibt es vielleicht am Besten. Mâitre Arnd und Team (+Julio) bieten einen soliden Auftritt in bekanntem Gewand mit neuen Einflüssen. Speisen und Getränke waren auf ordentlichem Niveau, optisch sehr ansprechend und fein abgestimmt. Toll! Cocktails vom Meister, wie eh und je, auf oberstem Level. Der Blick in die offene Küche und auf den Pass stets unterhaltsam und ruhig. Wir beide haben bis auf 3 Gerichte alle Speisen von der (digitalen) Karte bestellt und diese zum Teilen in der Mitte des Tisches platzieren lassen. Klare Empfehlung, da die Speisen eigentlich ideal dafür sind. Danke für die tollen (knapp 3) Stunden heute Abend.

A place to avoid at all costs. The quantities are minimal for astronomical prices. There is no research, the dishes are very basic. A potato cut in half with a little melted cheese and a tiny slice of truffle 28 euros!!! Despite everything, the service was not bad, which is a shame because the restaurant is well decorated and located. We need to review the portions or prices…

Worst restaurant experience of my life so far. Booked in advance for a loved one's birthday and was excited for some ceviche. It took 20 mins for us to even be given a menu and then the food took 90 mins to come incomplete missing a main. Portions were tiny and the food didn't taste good- sweet potatoes were raw and the udon was overly vinegary. Service staff were understanding and did apologise but will definitely not be returning. For the price point you expect a lot more.

I have been a big fan of this place but the small place vibes is not the way to go. A small piece of octopus 14€ is honestly a bit too much compared to what it was a year ago. I would recommend going back to big and nice mains instead of these super small tapas.

It should be a wonderful evening with a birthday dinner in the stylish NAUTA. The welcome was extremely friendly, jackets were removed and drinks arrived quickly. The host had pre-ordered for 20 people. We had to wait about an hour for the starters, which were very tasty, but we understood that because the restaurant was packed. The cocktails served in the meantime were all very good. After 3 hours there was still no main course in sight, even after asking, so we all left the restaurant hungry and then had a really good meal in the nearby Lebanese BABEL from 9.30 p.m. Maybe we just had a bad day, but in this price range something like that has to be out of the question and that's if you order in advance 😒

I went once a while ago and I was surprised that the menu is different now, everything was very delicious but the portions were too small, to fill up you had to eat at least 4 dishes per person and two drinks. On the other hand, the waiter only gave us a place at the bar and totally ignored us, he only came to take our order and came back again when it was time to pay, the chef was the one who collected our plates and attended to us directly explaining everything to us. I only came back for the ceviche and I will only return for that in the future, the rest is delicious but not worth the quantity-price

A family atmosphere meets a culinary journey of Nikkei Cuisine. A friendly host takes care of the well-being of his guests independently. This is true passion! The food and drinks are prepared with a lot of love. The cassava sticks are amazing! :)

The cuisine is really amazing with the unique mix of South-American and Japanese cuisine. We have been here more times in the past and the quality, the taste and variety of the dishes, the service and the value for money were significantly higher compared to this current experience. It is a shame. I felt like this is a truly fantastic place during all my past visits (although long time ago...) whereas now I just feel "meh"... They also changed the style to a more "tapas"-like setup, but it is unclear how much you should order. The dishes are surprisingly small compared to price (or not surprising and not high quality enough compared to the price) and compared to their previous versions.

Excellent food but the worst service ever!!! Waiting for small portions was very disappointing. We left and went to the local pizza place, which was amazing and worth it!

Sehr leckeres Essen. Sehr zu empfehlen Pisco Sour und das Ceviche - aber auch die anderen Gerichte waren gut.. Schoko Ganache als Dessert sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen.

We went after seeing the pictures of steak and good portions of octopus in reviews. Turns out they changed the menu and now it is all “small plates”. The taste was nice, but nothing too special, very small portions so after €70 of food we were still hungry. The service was very good for the German couple next to us, but they explained nothing about the menu to us or even a recommendation on what number of plates to order. Non-alcoholic options limited to mediocre lemonades and soda. Good music and atmosphere at least.

When great cuisine meets one of the best bartenders in the city, you can't help but rave... The pulpo was delicate, the ceviche was incredibly good, the cassava sticks were delicious and the cocktails were out of this world...

Very good food. I had the ceviche and the pulpo, both were very tasty. Very nice service and stylish ambience. It was a great evening. The cocktails were also very good, especially the Pisco Sour.

Okish food with good portions but nothing exceptional, especially considering the prices, in my opinion

In a few words: great piscou sour, great ceviche, good atmosphere with friendly and polite staff, but definitely overpriced. The main dish was good, but as one can see in the pictures by my and most other reviewers, the vegetables are regularly overgrilled (charred food is full of carcinogens btw). What you can't see in the pictures is that they were served luke-warm which seems like an oversight, more or less inexcusable at that price point. Add to that that the menu is really limited, and I see no reason to come back. Also very important: having the menu ONLY available as a QR code I need to scan with my phone is a fad that needs to stop. Doomscrolling is what I do when I DON'T pay to be in a nice restaurant for quality time with loved ones. Forcing me to do it here too, and first thing upon arrival, is just incredibly annoying and out of touch.

Das Restaurant ist interessant modern gestylt, die Sitze sind bequem. Das Essen ist sehr schmackhaft und ansprechend zubereitet. Der Pisco ist lecker, wird in einem einfachen Glas serviert. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Die Speisekarte wird als QR-Code angeboten.

Interesting concept, but little Peruvian culture I recently visited this restaurant which offers a mix of Peruvian and Japanese cuisine. The concept sounded very interesting and I was excited to see how the two cultures would be brought together in culinary terms. When I entered the restaurant I immediately noticed the Asian atmosphere. The furnishings and decoration were very reminiscent of a traditional Japanese restaurant, which was nice but reflected little of Peruvian culture. The dishes I tried were well prepared and tasty, but they had little to nothing to do with Peruvian cuisine. It lacked the typical flavors and ingredients that you would expect from Peruvian dishes. Instead, Japanese influences dominated, which made the culinary experience rather one-sided. Overall, the visit was interesting and the food was delicious, but anyone looking for authentic Peruvian cuisine will be disappointed here. The restaurant offers more of an Asian experience and hardly reflects Peruvian culture.

Der Service lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Jedoch haben wir uns seit Wochen auf das Nauta gefreut.. erwartet hat uns dann eine Speisenkarte mit einer Vorspeise und zwei Hauptgängen. Selbst ein Dessert war nicht im Angebot. Dafür hätten wir uns die weite Anreise sparen können. Das Nauta hat sehr abgebaut. Wir kommen nicht wieder.

You have to sit outside on the sidewalk instead of inside, and you get “okay” food and drinks, but at exorbitantly inflated prices. Relation nil. Conclusion: Not worth the money. It will definitely stay with just one visit. There are better and cheaper options in the surrounding area. 👎🏼

Peruanische Küche, zum ersten Mal in Berlin, kleine Karte, frische Gerichte, cevice mit catch of the day, lustig weil Thunfisch 😉 Octupus vom Grill mit gutem Biss. Und leckere alkoholfreie Getränke.

We just love the food here, the chimichuri dressing is to die for. But we mainly come here for the Cevice and Pisco Sour. Love it.

Preis Leistung stimmt hinten und vorne nicht. Die Ceviche war recht gut aber viel zu teuer. Die Hauptspeisen hatten mit peruanischer Küche überhaupt nichts zu tun und auch viel zu teuer. Der pisco sauer war gut aber auch viel zu teuer. Kann man nicht empfehlen. Mit peru hat das alles nicht viel zu tun.

Nur heiße Luft. Die digitale Speisekarte per QR-Code hat wohl den Sinn zu verbergen, erstens wie wenig es an Auswahl gibt und zweitens wie teuer es ist. Die Tische und Stühle im Freien könnten vom Sperrmüll sein.

The food is wonderful and of high quality, the ambience and light very inviting, the service reserved and attentive. The only point of criticism: The kitchen needs a better exhaust system so that not all things have to go into the washing machine after the visit.

Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und sachkundig. Das bestellte Essen kam nach angemessener Zeit und war optisch und geschmacklich sehr gut. Die Weine passten ebenfalls. Kleines Manko: Es war sehr laut, weil ein großes Fenster zur Straße hin offen war. Außerdem zog der Zigarettenrauch von der Terasse direkt in den Gastraum.

I had been here on a week day, it was nearly empty which gave a pleasant experience. Lily was very kind and friendly, with utmost attention at all times for service. Grilled octopus is superb, and Pisco Sour is a must too.

Very delicious. The menu was very limited. You only have very small choices but the taste is very good. It’s a modern Peruvian cuisine and very expensive luxury side.

Sehr leckeres Essen, toller Service und gute Beratung. Ging auch alles sehr schnell und trotz geringer Personaldecke sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Können wir nur weiterempfehlen auch wenn nicht preiswert. Aber jeden Cent wert.

Der Raum war sehr kalt, Bedienung nicht besonders freundlich, auch nach Aufforderung die Heizung aufzudrehen blieb es kalt. Preis (sehr hoch) / Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht.

Restaurant has absolutly poor ventilation, you smell like kitchen aftwards! But food and service are excelent.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! We were there yesterday with friends and we all loved it! The dishes are beautifully and imaginatively prepared and that's how they taste. The staff is very professional (thanks for the tutoring regarding brandy/pisco 😉😁), very friendly and yet natural. And: very nice atmosphere. A small downside: it was a bit cool at the beginning, but that's forgivable given the temperatures and energy costs. Plus the friendly staff and food made up for it. Thank you for a great evening!

es war okay, wir haben uns Besseres erwartet aber es war ganz okay. Sie hatten uns nur ein Dessert geben können weil die anderen schon aus waren, und der eine Service typ war komisch.

Good food, but very expensive 3 courses for €90. The ventilation was bad, a lot of smoke in the restaurant. The food came really fast and we had to leave after 2 hours.

Essen und Getränke waren erstklassig: Fleisch, Sea Food und vegetarische Gerichte. Eine kleine, feine Auswahl an Spitzenküche, on point gegart und perfekt serviert von einer freundlichen Bedienung. Cocktails und Wein waren ebenfalls hervorragend. Eindeutige Empfehlung.

Das Essen war toll wie immer. Aber die Bedienung sehr schlecht. Ich komme aus Peru und wollte einem deutschen Freund dieses Restaurant zeigen. Die Kellnerin war neu und hatte keine Ahnung von richtigem Service. Sie wusste nichts von Peruanischen Essen und war sehr unhöflich. Früher hatte ich sehr gute Erfahrung aber gestern war ich sehr enttäuscht ☹️. Ich empfehle dieses Restaurant immer aber ich werde es nicht mehr tun . Schade !

Food was ok, but definitely overpriced. Only one person in service so everything took ages. Worst thing was the smell. Due to poor ventilation the whole place was almost foggy and when we arrived home we realized that all our clothes smelled terribly like cooking and kitchen :/ We won’t go there again. 180€ for two persons was definitely not worth it.

We had order three small dishes which took an hour to prepare and was okay about the taste of food. And the second dish came exactly after an hour from second dish which was not that good. The Octopus was over grilled and was already bitter. I suggest them to focus on time and quality of food rather than unnecessary presentation. Hope they will consider this as a suggestion.

Bewertungen schreibe ich eigentlich nie. Aber das Nauta ist wirklich was Qualität und Geschmack angeht super top. Das Ambiente ist dazu außergewöhnlich! Wir kommen wieder.

Mal etwas anderes. Peruanische und japanische Küche vereint. Sogar freie Parkplätze in der Nähe.

Tolles Restaurant mit kreativen und sehr kulinarischen Speisen. Preislich allerdings ein wenig überteuert. Es wäre toll, wenn die Karte noch ein paar mehr Peruanische Speisen wie Causa, Picarones, Lomo Saltado, Chupe de Camarones, etc., zu Auswahl hätte. Der Pisco Sour ist extrem gut und der Service sehr freundlich.

Natua was excellent. The chef has sophisticated cooking skills and the server was attentive and helpful. We highly recommend Natua!

Carte restreinte mais quelle finesse. Très bon, par contre les français seront déçu, ils ne servent pas de pain avec le repas ce qui pour moi fu dommage car la sauce était raffinée et se serai fini bien mieux qu'à la cuillère 😅

I’ve been at Nauta during the week, with really high expectation as one of the best rated Peruvian restaurant in Berlin. The overall experience was good, really quick and gentle service. The food though I have to admit: I eat “lomo saltado”.. looked stunning.. but in the mouth wasn’t the same. Asked for a medium rare and it wasn’t.. the rice didn’t have any taste. The octopus instead was delicious.. perfectly cooked and even the sauces were really good.

We went back to Nauta after a long time. The menu is now very reduced with vegetarian options. Ingredients are fresh, wine options are limited and they make their standard Pisco sour with Pisco Malpaso from Chile. I wasn’t offered a good Peruvian alternative which was unfortunate because you can taste it. Service is polite with a nice restaurant ambience.

Delicious food!! I went for my birthday and everyone (including vegetarians + vegans) loved it.

Rund um toller Abend und Besuch. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, wusste über die Gerichte und Getränke bestens Bescheid. Die Speisen waren sehr lecker. Hervorstechend das tolle Ceviche. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Auch wenn das Restaurant von außen eher unscheinbar wirkt, so haben die Gerichte, die Cocktails und der Service mehr als überzeugt! Wir saßen im hinteren Raum direkt am offenen Fenster in einem sehr ansprechenden Ambiente. Auch der Geburtstag meines Neffen wurde sehr nett honoriert! Wir empfehlen das Nauta auf jeden Fall weiter.

Nie wieder!!! La comida muy buena a pesar de que no pudimos comer ya que era nuestra segunda vez en el restaurante por que nos fuimos solo probando las bebidas. El trato horrible por parte del manager (aleman de baja estatura) no se sí si fue algo personal o discriminación hacia un niño autista con pflegegrad 3 ya que según el no podía concentrarse por el “alto volumen” del teléfono cuando la sala estaba vacía y el volumen de la música del restaurante estaba bastante más alta que la de un teléfono y nosotros estábamos al lado de la cocina que obviamente disminuye el ruido del teléfono en la sala. Que clase de profesional es?! Ahora entiendo por que a pesar de la buena comida el restaurante está vacío! Por personal sin un mínimo de profesionalidad. Nunca más! Espero que que el dueño sea consciente de la clase de personas que tiene contratadas.
