The food was very good, the service could have been more attentive at times (it really depended on the individual employee). Overall, we had a pleasant time with you!

Given the many positive reviews, we went to Rocoto with high expectations and were not disappointed. Friendly staff and excellent food. We will definitely come back.

I tried several dishes and the experience was very good. The causa with grilled octopus was one of the best, a different presentation from the classic Peruvian version, but very well done and with delicious octopus. The ceviche deserves a 9/10: mild, fresh fish with a balanced acidity, ideal for diners not used to such intense flavors. The lomo saltado risotto-style was tasty, although the risotto itself was very bland and one of the grains was a little undercooked; the meat, however, was excellent. The service was impeccable, and they even offered us a complimentary shot at the end. Overall, a restaurant that adapts Peruvian cuisine very well to the German palate. I give it 5/5 and would definitely return.

It's actually a nice place, a bit small and cramped, but somehow cozy. The food was tasty, but the way guests were treated left much to be desired. We had reserved a table, received a confirmation email, and were told we had a table for two people from 6 pm to 8 pm. We received a second email to confirm our arrival and a third as a reminder. So far, so good. We were celebrating a birthday and were feeling good. However, at 7:13 pm, the server approached us and told us we needed to hurry because our table was only reserved until 7:30 pm. I was really confused by this announcement. We hadn't even started our dessert and were suddenly pressured to hurry. I showed the server the emails, but there was nothing we could do. We quickly finished our dessert and left. It was simply outrageous. We spent €130 and were treated like this. Never again. Thanks for nothing.

Yes, it's a bit pricey, but for me, Rocoto offers one of the best value options in all of Berlin. One of the best restaurants in Berlin

The food is nothing like Peruvian food, and if it has a touch of that, well... But I don't agree with calling it the best Peruvian food in Berlin. If I could highlight something good, it would be the excellent service, super friendly and nice, and the atmosphere was good too. Of all the things we ordered, the only one we liked was the octopus causa; we didn't like the rest. And they wouldn't serve us without a reservation. Even though they had free tables, they won't let you in without a reservation, and they close the kitchen early if you want to eat outside.

Definitely one of the best place to eat in Berlin! Highly recommended. The food is simply delicious, super tasty.

The food at Rococo was absolutely extraordinary – every single dish we tried was perfect, full of flavor, and beautifully prepared. The same goes for the drinks: simply outstanding. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and flexible, even accommodating extra people in our booking without any problem. The atmosphere is warm and very cosy, which makes the whole experience even better. One note: the restaurant is small and usually fully booked, so it’s best to reserve some weeks in advance, especially for bigger groups. Totally worth it – highly recommended!

The last one was the best, cevici - second place, because of the onion, it wasn't marinated, and thierd place - potatoes and tuna), main dish (Yellow tuna), and cocktails (Pisco sour for me). 💕It was a bit loud inside, so hard to talk. But I really recommend to visit this place at least once.

A bit on the expensive side, but the value for money is still very good considering the quality and taste. Eating here was a unique experience, and we'd gladly return.

We ate at Rocoto on a Friday. Service and ambiance: truly top-notch! The service was super friendly, attentive, and gave us good recommendations. The dining area is also tastefully decorated—you immediately feel at home. Drinks, appetizers, and main courses also arrived quickly, which is a positive. I was disappointed with the meal itself, however. The beef strips were unfortunately very tough—I would have expected better quality for the price. The sharing appetizer, for just under €30, was nicely presented, but in my opinion, too expensive for the portion size. Conclusion: It was interesting once, but I wouldn't go back again. If you value friendly service and a nice ambiance, this is the place for you—I personally wasn't impressed with the taste or price.

It was ok, expected more, service was kind and friendly, food is quite overpriced for what you get, I booked the table months ahead for my husbands birthday, not a nice word, a tiny treat as a gesture, nothing, that’s not a tiny omission the corner, they have premium prices I expected a better service and attention of such special occasion.

Absolutely fantastic! Beautifully presented dishes, subtly seasoned, ingredients perfectly matched in flavor. We had two appetizers and cassava fries and were stuffed – but we didn't want to miss out on dessert, so we shared tres leche... the creamiest mango ice cream on a moist, fluffy sponge cake. First of all: I'm comparing this to restaurants of a similar standard. About the food: The ceviche is amazing. I think it's the best I've had in Berlin so far. The empanadas were so airy and crispy. The pork belly - I don't know how to describe it. The crust is 10/10, and the puree complements it wonderfully. The pisco sours - let's say: "dangerous." They're way too good and tasty. Ambience: It was okay outside. It looked very nice inside too. I think I would have preferred the inside rather than the open space on the street/sidewalk. Unfortunately, there are places where the outside area is nicer and more pleasant. Service: The service was very friendly and helpful. However, you did have to beg for attention towards the end when it got a bit more crowded. Not dramatic, but unfortunately a bit unpleasant. Conclusion: If you're looking for delicious ceviche, you'll find it here. I'll definitely stop by again and try the other dishes. And I'll definitely have Pisco Sour again.

Waitress said all the tables were reserved and she didn’t care to check out any spots for only one people.

What I ordered was truly bad. It doesn't even have any "influence" or "inspired" by Peruvian food; it's anything but good Peruvian cuisine. The reason I didn't know what to do with it was a flavorless potato soup, and the duck rice was the same: raw duck, tasteless, and tasteless. I appreciate the service of one of the waitresses.

Gorgeous culinary experience. We went for dinner on a Thursday night. It was a warm day so we were seated outside. We started off with a round of pisco sours which were nicely executed. For food we first shared the classic and the mixed ceviche. Both were amazing. Then we had the beef skewers and the grilled octopus. Both dishes were exquisite. We loved every bit of it, the meat/octopus, the potatoes, the complex sauces. We also had the quinoa salad which was very tasty and went well with other dishes.

I absolutely don't understand the negative reviews here. About the food: Authentic South American food of this quality is extremely rare. The taste is truly special. The price/performance ratio is really good in my opinion. Ambience: Not necessarily extravagant, but somehow charming! Service: Four servers look after about 15 tables. Super friendly and accommodating! The food and drinks arrived in a reasonable time. We'll be back soon :)

First of all, I can only say that the Peruvian food here is so delicious that you will be blown away. The ambiance is also really cozy, whether inside or outside. The restaurant has a beautifully converted basement compartment, which is by no means a negative; in fact, it really adds to the cozy atmosphere. Sitting outside means you are on the street... that has its advantages and disadvantages. However, the street is hardly used, so you always have enough peace and quiet to chat. Now for the clear highlight: the food. As already described above, there is a clear selection of all kinds of different Peruvian dishes. All of the dishes were so beautifully and deliciously presented. The only drawback, which is also a matter of taste, is that they use quite a lot of coriander! However, if you like coriander, you will really enjoy this place. Absolutely recommend it!

In diesem peruanischen Restaurant gibt es wunderschön angerichtetes, sehr leckeres Essen, eine sehr gemütliche und angenehme Atmosphäre und einen Pisco..... Hmmmmmmmmmm Kann ich definitiv weiterempfehlen.

I was there a month ago, thinking it would be the best Peruvian food experience in Berlin. Unfortunately, I got seafood rice (horrible). It was flavorless... it was like they mixed the rice with seafood two minutes before serving it. 0.0 on the Richards scale! Stay away, guys!

The best you can find in Berlin and the surrounding area when it comes to good Peruvian food. Very good service and attention. I can recommend the ceviche and causa, they are simply incredibly delicious. I come here very often and here is a photo of the Anticucho!

You get a great dining experience here. The staff is super friendly and the food is great. This was our second time here and so far every dish has been delicious. The empanadas are definitely recommended and the octopus was tender as butter. PS: It's great to sit outside in summer.

I never tried Peruvian food before - but let me tell you something: It was amazing. Zero comments apart from thank you to the chef. Cozy place, a bit loud inside, but worth it. I will definitely go back to try some of the things I did not try because im sure they will be amazing.

Unfortunately only three stars, although we enjoyed the food very much. The dishes are really very good and tasty; Unfortunately, the sweet potato puree was only lukewarm. But okay. The ambience is dispassionate, neither positive nor negative. However, the noise level is sometimes very high. The service spoiled our evening somewhat, although it was friendly but very disorganized. The order was taken after 15 minutes, the wine ordered after another 20 minutes. When clearing up, let alone in the meantime, no one asked if everything was okay. No dessert menu was offered. And when paying, some guests got a digestif on the house, some, like us, didn't.
