Rüyam Gemüse Kebab in Berlin

The wait is huge outside and inside, not worth it. After waiting a long time we've been told at the cashier that we need to wait another 40mn to get our order 🗿 Save your self time and money and go to 7 days kebap , 100mn away, it's so delicious and no waiting.

I will say this. These three things distinguish it from the ordinary kebab with good meat that we have in Poland: 1) The addition of baked potato cubes fits this composition perfectly and gives it such a deep flavor 2) The bun is spread with sauces, not covered with them. Thanks to this, the whole thing is perfectly juicy, and the sauces do not kill the flavors of the additions 3) A crunchy roll that keeps everything in check and doesn't leave you sad at the end that you have to eat it. This one is a pleasure to eat. A queue for half an hour, first outside and then inside. Then another 15 minutes of waiting inside to order. There is a lot of space in the place, but it is always full, so there is very little chance that you will be able to sit down (unless you are in a group and some of you will be waiting for a seat). Despite so many people, there is somewhere to stand while waiting for a kebab and not feel crowded inside. There is a toilet on site. There is also a thermos with Turkish tea for free. Is it worth going there especially from Poland? In my opinion, no, it still tastes like a kebab, only made professionally, without defects and with baked potatoes, which influence the taste the most. Is it worth standing in line when you're in Berlin? In my opinion, neither. There are some very similar kebabs in Berlin and they are maybe 5-10% different from this one, and you will get them without queues. But if you feel like waiting and are in the area, you will eat a really perfect kebab.

Really very tasty food. I'm from North Rhine-Westphalia and generally find the way the Berlin kebab is prepared is far better than it is in North Rhine-Westphalia. I waited 50 minutes from waiting in line to receiving the food. Would I do it again? No. I think it's never worth waiting that long. You can also go to another store directly. If you still want to try it, you can take the time if possible.

Unfortunately, Rüyam in Berlin didn't entirely convince me. The waiting time was quite long. The kebab itself was okay, but nothing special - neither the sauce nor the meat really stood out. I would have expected a little more for the hype. At least it was positive that the portion was large enough. Overall, an average experience that I don't necessarily need to repeat.

I actually come from the Ruhr area and was in Berlin for a Sido concert. After a recommendation, we went to Rüyam and what awaited me there completely turned my idea of ​​a kebab upside down. I have never eaten a kebab like this! All the ingredients were extremely fresh, the portions were large and the taste was an absolute explosion! The price is no more expensive than at any run-of-the-mill kebab shop. So if I didn't live so far away, you would have a new regular customer!

Really packed house. Good sign for good food. Orders were taken fairly quickly, which moved the long lines along. My hungry kids and I waited ~15-20 mins for our order. Drove home to enjoy. Rice was buttery and fragrant, salad was fresh and kebab was tender with crunchy edges. The one ingredient that was suppose to connect it all and was MIA.... the Kräuter and Knoblauch Sauce. Bruh. That was a huge let down. My order was 367. I've been calling every 15 mins on the hour but the line has been busy. After 1.5hrs, I'm going to call it. Truly a shame. Maybe I'll give them another shot.

The Dürum Kebab no longer tastes the same as it used to. This may also be due to the fact that almost none of the original workforce at the time is there anymore... It's a shame.

The skewer was a work of art! Rotates slowly, majestically, bigger than the TV tower and above all: juicier. You knew why you were standing here. And then this moment: It's your turn. Adrenaline! “Anything but spicy, please,” I say, clearly a professional. The kebab master starts packing and works so precisely that I briefly considered whether he had trained as an architect. Layers of salad, meat, sauce – everything sits like a well-coordinated Berlin S-Bahn. Then comes the big moment: handover. I'm holding the thing in my hands, so full that I almost thought it needed a building permit. I put down eight euros and said patronizingly: "That's right, boss." And hey, I've rarely been so sure that every cent was worth it. Then I look for a spot to feed, sit on a semi-cold bench and off we go. The first bite: BOOM! Flavor explosion. The bread is crispy, the meat is spicy, the sauce is just right – not a drop too much, not a leaf of lettuce too little. Between every bite I just think, "Brother, this is art." I didn't care at all about the world around me. Was it cold? No idea. Was the guy next to me staring at his phone the whole time? Me latte. I was totally into the Rüyam film. In the end I'm full and happy like I was after Christmas at grandma's. I look back at the booth and see the line, which now stretches almost to the next street. Sure, they know what's good. Conclusion: Rüyam is not just a kebab, it is an attitude to life.

Seriously one of the best kebabs I've ever eaten. Most likely the best kebab in Berlin. And I've actually eaten a lot of kebabs in Berlin. Ambiance, cool, but I think I'm a bit too old for that. But they could also sell their kebab in the cowshed, I would still come there! Despite intentionally rancid-looking walls, the place is extremely clean, an MA is always on the go cleaning up and he even offers tea. One final comment. Seriously a great organized kitchen. I love this place. I always look forward to visiting this place—it’s one of my favorites. The bread and durum are both excellent, with the bread being a standout. However, while I enjoy the freshness and softness of the bread, I find that it lacks the ideal bite ratio, which is why I typically opt for the tortilla/dürüm. Regardless, it's an exceptional spot that’s always bustling with people. I’m always happy to stop by whenever I’m in Berlin. The portions are generous, and the food is consistently delicious. On one occasion, I encountered a small piece of cartilage, but overall, the experience is always worth it.
