The food was good. However, the waitress was extremely rude, sometimes very insulting and completely for no reason. Definitely a reason for me and my friends not to come anymore.

For Tuscan food, really a good place to go outside of Tuscany. The cold dishes are definitely acquired in Tuscany, really top notch authentic sausage and cheese goods. The homemade focaccia is world class. The noodle dishes are strongly seasoned and generously portioned. You can tell that it's going that way, but it doesn't taste like it does in Tuscany. But the will is there. The dish of the day was very tasty and also well seasoned. Our conditions probably had a first day in the location and didn't know the way around very well. But that wasn't a bad thing because he was very friendly and tried to please us. We felt really comfortable. The ambience with the high ceilings was very inviting and even though it was full, it was easy to have a conversation at lunchtime. Next time we'll come to taste the bread thoroughly!

I've often been to the Müllersche Volksbad, but it was my first time eating there. Tuscan cuisine is offered there. The specialty is mainly a kind of sandwich with traditional Tuscan bread. But I only had antipasti: with fantastic fennel salami. The ambience fits wonderfully with the Art Nouveau style of the Volksbad.

The waiter is nice but made a mistake with the order, there still weren't many guests. Food portions are relatively fine and oily but tasty. I ended up ordering a Fortemarmina to take away because it looked good that I really wanted to try a schiacciate. Unfortunately I got something different (Bellaciccia) and I'm completely disappointed because it has prosciutto, which I'm not allowed to eat, and it's also impossible to react. ☹️

You wouldn't expect a special restaurant in a swimming pool - unexpectedly delicious & top service!

Well, it’s not bad, the food is more or less tasty, although the wait was long, the waiters are friendly, a special plus is that our Monty (dachshund) was immediately given water to drink!

One of the best if not the best authentic Italian food in Munich. Good selection of cheese, fresh made pasta, and delicious appetizers. The atmosphere of the place is very charming and the service was super nice and friendly. Definitely will go again and again. Highly recommend.

We (4 women) have just been expelled from the restaurant by a very unfriendly male waitress named Giovanni in a cheeky and unfriendly manner that we have never experienced before. Although we had exceeded the time slot for the table, the new guests hadn't arrived yet and it was no longer possible to drink the remaining 3 sips of Aperol Sprizz despite our requests. For me it's a disgrace. If it had been served faster, we would have been able to keep to the time better. It's a shame for this place...

We had a reservation from 4:30 p.m. After we paid at around 7 p.m., the manager, presumably, wouldn't even let us finish our drink. In a very unpleasant way he asked us to leave the restaurant immediately. We didn't stick to the rules of the 2-hour time window and anyone who didn't stick to the rules would be sent out of the restaurant in an unkind manner. We will never ever go here again. We were really very annoyed by the way things were done.

The ambience is first class. The restaurant is located in the Müllersche Volksbad, but is separated from the bathroom and can be reached via the entrance area. Fortunately, we couldn't smell any “swimming pool smell” in the restaurant itself. The starter consisting of ham, cheese, bread and grilled vegetables was solid but nothing special. The main courses were very small and unfortunately tasted rather disappointing (spaghetti with cavalo nero and squid as well as lasagna). The spritz looked good at first glance, but was very thin. Conclusion: Nice ambience but there is still room for improvement when it comes to food and drinks.

Fantastic! Not your typical Italian restaurant. Only cold Tuscan dishes, but of the highest quality. Super nice owner, great service and a very interesting wine list. Good value for money. You definitely have to reserve time. A must-go!

The food and service were really impeccable. I found the furniture including seating not that inviting and the ambience was marred by the acoustics (guest noise).

First time going to this restaurant, was not that easy to find it, due to some temporal street work in progress, however, the building where you find the restaurant is very nice, as well as the surrounding. Parking in the area is not that easy as you either have to hunt any empty slot, either park few streets away from the restaurant in paid garage parking. We were 2 couples and ordered 3 different types of food and some drinks, however we all considered it overpriced ( 1 Aperol spritzt costs 8 euros and it wasn't the best I ever had) and the pasta I had was not as tasty as expected. The staff was OK, they speak Italian, Deutsch and some English. Toilets fairly clean, but felt some bad odor. Overall, the place for us was one time experience and do not think to come back.

Wow. What a great meal. Super attentive and friendly service and still a great ambience in the Volksbad. We drove there from Ammersee and had an overall positive evening. Thanks to the team.

never tried Tuscan food before but this was really excellent! had the sandwiches for starter and pasta for mains, both extremely high quality, and the wines and cocktails were great too - for Munich it’s also competitively priced with friendly accommodating staff, quick efficient service despite how busy it was, and a nice ambience inside a historic building. Cannot recommend enough! Reserve a table!

Very, very tasty food. B-grade deductions for the somewhat noisy and hall-like space, but the dining experience easily outshines this.

In the wonderful Müllersche Volksbad next door... beautiful, high room, it gets very loud if there is a large group. Sweet, extremely attentive lady who served us. The selection of food is not too big but is of the finest quality. Something different too. Very well mixed drinks, delicious Giesinger beers. We felt very comfortable.

The place was very nice and cute, but it was surprisingly crowded for a Tuesday evening. The servers were a bit pushy about ordering, and once we did, it took a long time for our food and drinks to arrive—some items were even forgotten. Overall, a nice atmosphere, but the service could definitely improve.

Wow, we haven't had such excellent antipasti in a long time! Kudos for the kitchen. We'll come back and try something else!

We had a very nice evening with you, delicious truffle pasta and great service! The only idea for improvement: With many guests it gets very loud in the guest room and if necessary you could add more sound insulation to reduce the noise.

Unfortunately a real fail. The three of us were squeezed into a table that was far too small for that. One of us had to sit in the aisle, so we were constantly jostled and no one could get through. It's very loud and smells like old grease. The food took a very long time (over 1.5 hours for the main course) and some of it wasn't what was ordered. Plates weren't cleared away for ages, even if the waitress came by the table ten times in the meantime. The prices are just ridiculously high for the atmosphere and service. You can tell that this is simply about extreme profit maximization - unfortunately at the expense of the guests. It is therefore difficult for me to advise against choosing this restaurant.

If you like typical Italian, this is the right place for you. A little loud, a little busy, delicious food and just living 👍🏻

It took them a long time to bring us the food. The service was in a bad mood. They threatened to call the police for leaving without wanting to pay for the entrance (two soups). We didn’t want to pay for them because we waited an hour for the main course and then we decided to leave the Restaurant. Several times we asked what was going on and why it was taking so long. I wonder: is it necessary to make such a fuss and threaten us just to charge us for two soups? It’s not worth creating all that chaos. A professional kitchen manager would apologize and let you go without having to pay. They end up losing.

Unfortunately, my anticipation of a visit to the Rusterika was quite disappointed yesterday. I had the gnocchi with burrata. According to the menu, the gnocchi are homemade. However, they taste and look like a finished product (have that sour note). Very firm dough (I'm not talking about al dente) and visually suspiciously uniform. When we entered the restaurant, we were immediately seen by a waitress and kindly asked to come to our table. The lady provided good service and brought us wine and dishes quickly. Then her colleague took over. I found him cheeky and almost intrusive when, without asking, he commented on my choice of drink (I had water and a spritzer after the glass of wine) by saying that I was boring and why it was only alcohol-free. Laughing, shaking my head and trying to persuade myself. What's that supposed to mean? It's a shame, unfortunately I won't come again.

We went for a late lunch today for our final lunch in Munich after residing for two years and wish we came to this place earlier. Excellent friendly service and the food was amazing. We sat outside to eat. Although there’s a lot of construction going on and it was difficult to figure out the entrance at first, definitely worth a visit.

Food was very good! The surrounding area itself was very nice, but there was a large construction site on the opposite side of us (outside), which spoiled the atmosphere a bit. Still a very nice staff and a nice stay!

I felt at home! Friendly and professional service, tortillas with typical Italian products, fresh pasta with excellent quality sauces.

We just wanted coffee and cake. There was cheesecake. He was so good. We can imagine that we would also come here for dinner. The service staff was very nice and attentive.

Schiacciata Toscana very very tasty. Very high quality Italian ingredients. We also treated ourselves to a good Aperol Spritz and lasagne, also good like in Italy. I can only recommend this locally.

Based on a recommendation, the two of us made a reservation. Unfortunately, despite our reservation, we were told that all tables were taken and that we were welcome to wait to see if a table became available earlier or if a reservation was not honored. Because of the behavior, I have no ambition to give the restaurant a second chance.

Actually nice atmosphere, the menu is large, but only consists of starters, sandwiches and a handful of main courses. The food was not worthy of Italian cuisine. The tagliata for €33 was completely cooked through, the meat was of poor quality and you had to order the side dishes separately (€6.50). The open red wine would have been a better vinegar. Overall, it's really a disgrace. The service was good, the restaurant apparently had only been there for a few months. Maybe things will get better, we won't come back.

The food was very good and deserved at least four stars, typically Tuscan and something different than what you usually get at the Italian restaurant around the corner. Unfortunately the visit was marred by two things: 1. We had to wait a very long time for the food. The starter came after 45 minutes, the main course only after 1 1/2 hours. When asked, the reason was that we had ordered an appetizer. Mhm?! 2. The service was quite inattentive. Not once were we asked if we would like anything else to drink. No smiles and we had to wait longer for the drinks. Only the invoice arrived in less than 1 minute. All in all, the price/performance ratio is unfortunately not right.

I had the fish duet. It was very good, but the best part was the salad that came with the great tomatoes. Fine Italian cuisine at a premium price.

Heavenly sandwich with beautiful focaccia. Salami, fresh rucola and great pepper marmalade inside. Grilled vegetables is also so good. Light, delicious and fresh.

Unfortunately, we can't understand the many positive reviews... We had the gnocchi and the pasta al ragout bianco and were really disappointed. The tomato sauce on the gnocchi was far too intensely sweet. Not tomato-fresh, but as if it had been seasoned with powdered sugar. The gnocchi itself was undercooked and stuck in the mouth. The smell of the Ragu Bianco was strongly reminiscent of liver dumpling soup. The minced meat was quite dry and crumbly while the sauce was very watery and pooled at the bottom of the plate. The dish was also overly seasoned. Most of the waiters were very nice, and the atmosphere of the shop itself is also nice. The only problem is that on sunny days the place heats up like a greenhouse. Today it was easily 30°C inside. There was no air conditioning or windows to open... It was difficult to endure. All in all, for 50 euros (including water) it's simply not good enough to give a better rating here. The interior design alone raises the rating to 2/5. It was supposed to be a special evening, but it was ultimately a failure.

A very atmospheric place, especially outside. Inside, it's so-so - there are no fans, for example, when it's hot in the summer. The food is tasty, fresh and interesting. It's great that the lunch menu included a cutlet (perfect for a child who doesn't like pasta). Beautiful-looking boards with cold cuts. It's definitely good to have a reservation. The service at the entrance was great, but then a lady approached us who was artificially polite, although she made it seem that maybe she didn't like tourists. A very long wait for the food - we arrived at 6:50 p.m., placed the order at 7:16 p.m., received the appetizer at 7:50 p.m. and the main course at 8:20 p.m.! When we asked for the bill (twice) saying that we were in a hurry, the waitress asked where we were going in such a hurry, saying that she could ask us about our plans because we already knew each other! (she was very rude with a fake smile). The problem with the card payment terminal is, let's say, "the malice of inanimate things". If it weren't for the time and service, it would definitely be 5 stars

We had a charcuterie board and ate that for an hour. When we finished half of it I ordered some additional sandwiches, but they didn’t arrive for another hour. When following up on this service got angry, because we should have informed them that we wanted them right away, they were waiting for us to finish the whole charcuterie board. Sorry, but isn’t it maybe your job to ask us if we want to have the sandwiches right away or later? Instead of getting the sandwiches right away, we waited another 30 minutes - even though they knew we had already waited forever. I am used to restaurants that when I order it - I want it asap. Terrible attitude and zero customer attention!

Super tasty Italian! The dishes are really outstanding and not run-of-the-mill. It's worth just trying it out here. When the weather is nice you can sit outside very nicely. We'd love to come back.

The best food we have had in Germany so far. The portions are big and can be shared. You will not come out of there hungry, that is for sure.

Great place for a good Italian Antipasto. What I didn't like is that you have a limited time to eat and before your time is over they kick you out, I would have liked to enjoy another Aperol but they wouldn't let me, that ruins the experience.

This was probably my favorite restaurant when visiting Munich. The staff was very inviting even though our table had a reservation that we had to be done before they arrived. They answered all questions that we had cuz we didn't speak good German. And the food was absolutely fantastic! The inside setting is beautiful as well! When we went there was some construction around the front, but don't let that discourage you It is definitely worth the visit.

Excellent focaccias, but the first courses need improvement. Overall a nice place but for me too expensive in relation to the quality-price ratio. With the same budget you can eat better elsewhere.

I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the focaccia bread used on the Schiacciate. I ordered the one called ‘Ma Che Scherzi’ and the bread was very dry, it looked like it was from some days ago. Definitely not like the focaccia bread I know from Italy. For the price point, I think 15 euros for a sandwich is a bit much. They are definitely not on the affordable end. I also had an Aperol spritz for 7,9 and it was ok, however keep in mind that the bars around can offer the same for 6,5 euros. The staff was the best part, the girls were all nice and kind to us. I appreciate that type of good service. The restaurant vibe was also nice, the outdoors feeling was refreshing for a summer dinner. Overall, I wouldn’t come back for the food, maybe just for drinks given the location. I would suggest to the management of the restaurant to work harder on the details and improve the quality of the food.

Fantastic!!! Today we (6 adults and two children) were there in the late afternoon without a reservation. Although everything had already been reserved, a perfect place was organized for us for a certain period of time. The service was terrific, our palate was pampered with appetizers and delicious house wine. The main courses were also of a quality to fall in love with. For dessert there was “only” espresso as there was no room for dessert. Thank you for this little trip to Italy. We'll definitely be back.

We sat outside, a mediocre beer garden with a view of various construction sites. Mussels were inedible, but were taken back without any problem. And as compensation there was limoncello. Class service.

As an Italian, it’s always a joy to find authentic Italian food in Munich. The location is splendid and well curated, the food delicious and the service very professional and friendly. We ate there as a group of 9 people, I’m very grateful for the patience the staff had while taking the orders as well as managing the paying process for such a large group. It happens often in Munich to receive quite rude and cold service, so it was refreshing to feel welcomed and “at home”. Definitely recommended and will for sure visit again!

I have never waited less than two hours at this restaurant to get my entree. I have had entire Michelin star tasting menus that take less time than this restaurant does to serve a single appetizer and entree.

Excellent environment, perfect for being in company and eating well in true "Italian aperitif" style. The staff interacts very well with the customers so even if you were alone you feel at home. Thank you, I will gladly come back

A fantastic place to gather with your friends or colleagues after work! You can order a cold cut platter and some drinks which are typical for Aperitivo Time, and then experience the Toscana feeling directly in Munich. The service is excellent! Very friendly, efficient and helpful! Thanks a lot for a nice evening without reservation!
