We just wanted coffee and cake. There was cheesecake. He was so good. We can imagine that we would also come here for dinner. The service staff was very nice and attentive.

Schiacciata Toscana very very tasty. Very high quality Italian ingredients. We also treated ourselves to a good Aperol Spritz and lasagne, also good like in Italy. I can only recommend this locally.

Actually nice atmosphere, the menu is large, but only consists of starters, sandwiches and a handful of main courses. The food was not worthy of Italian cuisine. The tagliata for €33 was completely cooked through, the meat was of poor quality and you had to order the side dishes separately (€6.50). The open red wine would have been a better vinegar. Overall, it's really a disgrace. The service was good, the restaurant apparently had only been there for a few months. Maybe things will get better, we won't come back.

Based on a recommendation, the two of us made a reservation. Unfortunately, despite our reservation, we were told that all tables were taken and that we were welcome to wait to see if a table became available earlier or if a reservation was not honored. Because of the behavior, I have no ambition to give the restaurant a second chance.

Lasagna was burnt, the antipasti was too salty and the waiter could have been friendlier.

The food was very good and deserved at least four stars, typically Tuscan and something different than what you usually get at the Italian restaurant around the corner. Unfortunately the visit was marred by two things: 1. We had to wait a very long time for the food. The starter came after 45 minutes, the main course only after 1 1/2 hours. When asked, the reason was that we had ordered an appetizer. Mhm?! 2. The service was quite inattentive. Not once were we asked if we would like anything else to drink. No smiles and we had to wait longer for the drinks. Only the invoice arrived in less than 1 minute. All in all, the price/performance ratio is unfortunately not right.

I had the fish duet. It was very good, but the best part was the salad that came with the great tomatoes. Fine Italian cuisine at a premium price.

Heavenly sandwich with beautiful focaccia. Salami, fresh rucola and great pepper marmalade inside. Grilled vegetables is also so good. Light, delicious and fresh.

Unfortunately, we can't understand the many positive reviews... We had the gnocchi and the pasta al ragout bianco and were really disappointed. The tomato sauce on the gnocchi was far too intensely sweet. Not tomato-fresh, but as if it had been seasoned with powdered sugar. The gnocchi itself was undercooked and stuck in the mouth. The smell of the Ragu Bianco was strongly reminiscent of liver dumpling soup. The minced meat was quite dry and crumbly while the sauce was very watery and pooled at the bottom of the plate. The dish was also overly seasoned. Most of the waiters were very nice, and the atmosphere of the shop itself is also nice. The only problem is that on sunny days the place heats up like a greenhouse. Today it was easily 30°C inside. There was no air conditioning or windows to open... It was difficult to endure. All in all, for 50 euros (including water) it's simply not good enough to give a better rating here. The interior design alone raises the rating to 2/5. It was supposed to be a special evening, but it was ultimately a failure.

Fantastic service and food, one of the highlights of our visit to Munich.

A very atmospheric place, especially outside. Inside, it's so-so - there are no fans, for example, when it's hot in the summer. The food is tasty, fresh and interesting. It's great that the lunch menu included a cutlet (perfect for a child who doesn't like pasta). Beautiful-looking boards with cold cuts. It's definitely good to have a reservation. The service at the entrance was great, but then a lady approached us who was artificially polite, although she made it seem that maybe she didn't like tourists. A very long wait for the food - we arrived at 6:50 p.m., placed the order at 7:16 p.m., received the appetizer at 7:50 p.m. and the main course at 8:20 p.m.! When we asked for the bill (twice) saying that we were in a hurry, the waitress asked where we were going in such a hurry, saying that she could ask us about our plans because we already knew each other! (she was very rude with a fake smile). The problem with the card payment terminal is, let's say, "the malice of inanimate things". If it weren't for the time and service, it would definitely be 5 stars

Super tasty Italian! The dishes are really outstanding and not run-of-the-mill. It's worth just trying it out here. When the weather is nice you can sit outside very nicely. We'd love to come back.

We had a charcuterie board and ate that for an hour. When we finished half of it I ordered some additional sandwiches, but they didn’t arrive for another hour. When following up on this service got angry, because we should have informed them that we wanted them right away, they were waiting for us to finish the whole charcuterie board. Sorry, but isn’t it maybe your job to ask us if we want to have the sandwiches right away or later? Instead of getting the sandwiches right away, we waited another 30 minutes - even though they knew we had already waited forever. I am used to restaurants that when I order it - I want it asap. Terrible attitude and zero customer attention!

The best food we have had in Germany so far. The portions are big and can be shared. You will not come out of there hungry, that is for sure.

Super nice atmosphere with attentive service and fair prices for delicious food.

Great place for a good Italian Antipasto. What I didn't like is that you have a limited time to eat and before your time is over they kick you out, I would have liked to enjoy another Aperol but they wouldn't let me, that ruins the experience.

This was probably my favorite restaurant when visiting Munich. The staff was very inviting even though our table had a reservation that we had to be done before they arrived. They answered all questions that we had cuz we didn't speak good German. And the food was absolutely fantastic! The inside setting is beautiful as well! When we went there was some construction around the front, but don't let that discourage you It is definitely worth the visit.

Excellent focaccias, but the first courses need improvement. Overall a nice place but for me too expensive in relation to the quality-price ratio. With the same budget you can eat better elsewhere.

I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the focaccia bread used on the Schiacciate. I ordered the one called ‘Ma Che Scherzi’ and the bread was very dry, it looked like it was from some days ago. Definitely not like the focaccia bread I know from Italy. For the price point, I think 15 euros for a sandwich is a bit much. They are definitely not on the affordable end. I also had an Aperol spritz for 7,9 and it was ok, however keep in mind that the bars around can offer the same for 6,5 euros. The staff was the best part, the girls were all nice and kind to us. I appreciate that type of good service. The restaurant vibe was also nice, the outdoors feeling was refreshing for a summer dinner. Overall, I wouldn’t come back for the food, maybe just for drinks given the location. I would suggest to the management of the restaurant to work harder on the details and improve the quality of the food.

Fantastic!!! Today we (6 adults and two children) were there in the late afternoon without a reservation. Although everything had already been reserved, a perfect place was organized for us for a certain period of time. The service was terrific, our palate was pampered with appetizers and delicious house wine. The main courses were also of a quality to fall in love with. For dessert there was “only” espresso as there was no room for dessert. Thank you for this little trip to Italy. We'll definitely be back.

We sat outside, a mediocre beer garden with a view of various construction sites. Mussels were inedible, but were taken back without any problem. And as compensation there was limoncello. Class service.

The waiter was kind enough to find a place for us even though we had no reservation. The other waiters were also very kind! The food was absolutely delicious!! The portions were also perfect for us. The atmosphere us nice, but if you have a hearing aid it might get too loud for you. We will definitely come back!

Great ambience in the Müller'schen Volksbad. High ceilings, tastefully decorated. The menu scores with Tuscan specialties. The main focus is various schiacciate - Tuscan sandwiches. Prices are high in Munich, but the quality of the products is also good. The service is attentive and friendly.

As an Italian, it’s always a joy to find authentic Italian food in Munich. The location is splendid and well curated, the food delicious and the service very professional and friendly. We ate there as a group of 9 people, I’m very grateful for the patience the staff had while taking the orders as well as managing the paying process for such a large group. It happens often in Munich to receive quite rude and cold service, so it was refreshing to feel welcomed and “at home”. Definitely recommended and will for sure visit again!

I have never waited less than two hours at this restaurant to get my entree. I have had entire Michelin star tasting menus that take less time than this restaurant does to serve a single appetizer and entree.

A fantastic place to gather with your friends or colleagues after work! You can order a cold cut platter and some drinks which are typical for Aperitivo Time, and then experience the Toscana feeling directly in Munich. The service is excellent! I booked a table for two at 9pm. When we arrived, staff was a bit hesitant, saying they might not have a table inside for us (it was too cold to eat outside). The waitress checked on her book and there were only two bookings at 9pm. Then, nobody seemed to care about us for a few minutes. We finally proceeded inside the restaurant where plenty of tables were free. We didn't understand what was wrong with us at first. Aside this little inconvenience, service was extremely slow and my husband's pasta were not cooked well. I'm Italian and this was not Al dente, the pasta were clearly undercooked. The other dishes we ordered were okay. The place is also very noisy even when the restaurant is not full.

Dinner was a pure delight! From the service to the cuisine to the ambience, it's top class. Sure, the acoustics are a little louder, but not annoying.

Unfortunately, I have to admit that I liked the Rustikeria more when it was still in the old location. The decor is very nice, but it is very noisy due to the high ceilings. There was also very bad air in the room and it was very warm (it was cold outside). The service is very friendly and attentive. However, we were all very disappointed with the food. 18€ for a tiny half eggplant with half a burrata, without bread, the taste wasn't amazing either, lasagne was barely seasoned, just as tiny a portion and the sandwich would have deserved more toppings for the high price. A pity! We won't be able to eat anymore...

Update: the move to the Müller'sche Volksbad has increased the wonderful range of food on offer and now there is also a restaurant in addition to the street food. The quality is absolutely excellent, even for the new dishes. Great upgrade and this is why reservations are a must as it is always full due to the well deserved smash hit. 😊

To forget after the move. Let me start by saying that I was a regular customer for two years when the restaurant was in Sendlinger Tor. Tried it this evening and it was good, but a total disappointment. Almost non-existent ricotta, little cured meat (lard), crushed meat that tasted only of walnuts and honey at a price of around 14 euros. Even worse was the service, they could have managed the customer but to my comment the reaction was rude and presumptuous even using inappropriate words to say that the slam dunk was done that way and well, full stop. The offer of re-preparation but only takeaway, for the series leave as soon as possible, was certainly not appreciated. Conclusion: I don't know if it is due to the move to the new location, but high prices can be paid for a good product, far from the overwhelming offer. So never again in Rustikeria, neither alone nor through acquaintances. It's unfortunate because in the past sympathy and good attention to the customer had been shown.

Regarding its atmosphere, it is quite nice. Service was fine but bringing wrong order and charging for it was not nice. We were 4 and we have tried several dishes. The soup was ok, but pasta was so dry. Out of 3 different foods, only the one that I attached was tasty.

Rustikeria was great in the old location and it’s even greater in the new one! As an Italian - it’s a guarantee of good food, good wine, good mood!

The young waiter named Francesco with the pigtail who was there last Sunday was super professional and gave us great advice. We felt very comfortable. He's a joker, yes, but that's his way. A visually unique restaurant in a historic ambience with dedicated staff and tenants who run the business with heart and soul. The dishes are unique and are often prepared and served differently than you would typically expect here. Local companies in Italy supply the ingredients, which can compete very well in terms of price compared to Munich standards. Reservations 1 - 2 weeks in advance are recommended. You can also sit outside. Inside you can dress in airy clothes - pleasantly warm and no draughts, as it is located directly in the Müllersche Volksbad. You can make yourself comfortable in the cozy places before and after swimming (not in your bathing suit!!) and have a lovely stay. We come by regularly and have fond memories of every visit! The new location of this place is amazing. The food is traditional from Florence. We love everything we have tried. It is very easy to feel at home with your friends when you order the long board with meats and cheeses. Last time, we also tried the sandwiches, and they were just delicious! The staff was really nice and friendly.

Overpriced, food didn't taste like anything... Meat was hard like chewing gum for €32 spaghetti…. NEVER AGAIN!

Good for lunch, unfortunately not for the evening. Nice ambience, but it is super loud due to the high ceilings. This is certainly also due to the fact that the restaurant is unfortunately “crammed” to the last centimeter with tables. It's a shame, you're basically sitting on your neighbor's lap. So there is no flair at all. Food was tasty, service initially good. After we had eaten we were unfortunately ignored and sat in front of our empty glasses. It's a shame, it would certainly be great if the store wasn't so full...

Nice place and friendly staff, but the food not so... Disappointment both in the quality of the focaccia and in the cooking of the pasta with the rest of the sauce... I was a regular customer, but with the transfer from the old place to the current new one , I have to say that the food has lost much of its quality and freshness. I'm so sorry for the manager, good person. But the quality is no longer as top-notch as it used to be. I hope they find the origins and passion in lost traditions

Totally hyped store for nothing and nothing again. We were there on a Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. and it was still super full and couldn't get a seat. Seavice forces totally ignored us and didn't even notice us until we brought them to our attention. We wanted to eat our own pizza but they don't have it there. But we attribute this to ourselves, we could have found out online beforehand. The pasta wasn't good. I looked around a little and it looked similar to the others. Very oily and slapped with little love. Very very expensive overall for a more than neutral and average taste experience.

Popped in for a super late lunch, about 430pm last week after an afternoon using the swimming pool and sauna. The restaurant is independent of the Swimming Baths. Rustikeria has beautiful, considered decor and furnishing throughout which accompanies its fantastic menu which has something for everyone. The hosts/waiters were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly and they provided excellent service throughout. Food flavoursome, carefully assembled/made, portion size great. Sadly I was only visiting Munich, but if this was on my doorstep, I'd want to be a regular visitor. Reservations likely necessary for dinner. I ordered: -Livornese Schiacciata -Espresso macchiato x2 -Tiramisu classico

We were there with a larger group and pre-ordered the food. Everything worked out great! The appetizer platters were great and very generous in size, and we also really enjoyed the stuffed Tuscan focaccia. The service was very friendly and attentive. A wonderful evening, we would love to come back!

Haha, 4 euros for 0.33 Giesinger Bräu?!?!?! Are you crazy ?? Unfortunately, it's normal in Munich that you have to finance yourself through drink prices, but the location isn't that cool. Food was ok but not exceptional. Don't go there anymore.

Overall, a great addition to Haidhausen (since February 2024) with a fairly comprehensive menu and numerous specialties from Tuscany. In terms of atmosphere, it's a crossover of Dean & Deluca in Little Italy (upscale) but with the authenticity of a classic deli. The food is excellent, the service attentive and entertaining. We try to defy the sound with acoustic absorbers on the walls, but the otherwise very original and interesting location is not designed for a quiet conversation. All in all - even with the tables being refilled very quickly when your own two hour window is coming to an end - a successful evening. A classic case of “I’ll be here more often.” And the very good Negroni sbagliato is not the only reason for this 🤌☝️

The sandwiches (unfortunately I've already forgotten the Italian term) are sensational. The service is quick and friendly. Prices really reasonable for Munich.

Warm service, very tasty, simple and yet very special specialties - sausage, cheese, antipasti, meat - everything extra fine and fresh. The sandwiches and desserts look very good too. A bit of a hidden gem where we stayed longer than originally planned :-)

There are not many places in Munich which offer something slightly different than the rest. However in this case, one can definitely say it is a place worth paying a visit. The interior is very interesting, the restaurant is located inside of the Müllersches Volksbad building. The food is a bit pricey, but very tasty and the service is very friendly.

Despite a reserved table, there is a minimum waiting time of 40 minutes - and that's during the week at 8 p.m. Not recommendable. We left again.

The location is definitely an upgrade compared to the previous location. Service still needs improvement (sandwich delivered incorrectly and then billed twice), but food (top ingredients) and drink very tasty.

The Rustikeria is a true gem among restaurants. The ambience, which captures the style of the Müllerisches Volksbad, is simply breathtaking. The Art Nouveau building from 1901 comes into its own here and contributes significantly to the culinary experience. The service is more than just top notch - it's attentive, entertaining and makes you feel at home. The food is a true feast for the senses. The starters alone were outstanding, and I had concerns about whether the main courses and paninis would be able to keep up. But we were taught otherwise! Everything was simply magnificent, a real pleasure from start to finish. I can't wait to return. The Rustikeria is definitely worth every detour.

Rarely have we eaten as well in Munich as we did here. Wine selection and food recommendations were fantastic. Service is a bit chaotic but super authentic and more than friendly. There are really only small flaws that you can easily overlook thanks to the food and the atmosphere. I would love to come back and recommend this restaurant to everyone. The evening's price for two waters, a bottle of wine, starter, main course, dessert, espresso and nightcap was just under €100 per person

There is still room for improvement. Anyone who charges such prices (high even by Munich standards) needs to improve their service. Quite disorganized, overwhelmed and as a guest, I don't want to experience stress in the team. 3 thin, small slices of veggie bruschetta for €12 are also juicy. The location is great. Maybe it's all still falling into place.

We were there for an early lunch, didn't have to make a reservation, the schiacciata sandwiches were great and very, very tasty. The coffee was also a 10/10. We were extremely satisfied and the atmosphere is calm and pleasant.

The bad first. The store is very loud and crowded. But the food and service are great. Nothing is sold here, it is recommended. We had the starters platter and a Diavolo. Both very tasty. Otherwise with drinks, the red wine was great and beer because Giesinger was great. Wish the store much success

One of my favorite place in Munich, such a gem. They just moved to the new location near Isartor and the place is just so comfy and well decorated. There are many seats inside and outside. Now the food, we ordered Bruschette Toscane and one of the special, was never a fan of bread but totally changed my mind afterwards. Everything was good. The waiter and waitress were very kind and helpful. We were overwhelmed with the big menu until the waitress helped us with recommendations. The waiter even gave a detailed explanation about what's on each bruschetta. Would recommend it to anyone. It's also a great place to enjoy some drinks.

Tagliere and pasta like from Tuscany. To start, it's best to share Il Granducato (one is enough for 4-5 people) and then go for sandwiches (schiacciata) or warm main courses, depending on your preference. Chic new location and a super friendly and motivated team. Be sure to make a reservation and bring enough time and hunger. It's worth it!

One of my favorite restaurants in Munich! It feels like staying with friends. The food is beyond fantastic and the service is always friendly and accommodating! The atmosphere is Italian and not a typical Italian in Munich, which makes it even better!

Came with an italian acquaintance of mine as he recommended the place. Interior rather basic, so all the attention on foods. Tuscany specialties - order the large plate and Massese focaccia with truffle cream.

The place is small and it was full, but we only waited a few minutes and the table was prepared for us. The menu is particular, in fact we were recommended by the staff for ordering. They serve flatbreads seasoned to suit all tastes and platters with mixed cheeses, cured meats, canapés and many other tasty things (they don't cook either first courses or pizza). All strictly Italian and of high quality. The beers are also Italian and there is a good choice.
