We got a table without any problems. Despite it being quite full, everyone was incredibly friendly. The food was delicious.

We celebrated our son's christening with about 25 people at this restaurant – and our expectations were exceeded in every way. The ambiance was wonderful and immediately created a warm, festive atmosphere. The food was outstanding, fresh, and of the highest quality. Our guests were also completely delighted. Special praise goes to the service team: extremely polite, attentive, and always friendly. Despite the large group, everything ran smoothly, and we felt very well taken care of at all times. Thank you so much for this wonderful day! We would love to come back and highly recommend this restaurant.

We've been coming to this restaurant, more or less regularly, for over 20 years. After it was closed for a while, we ate there again during the "Martinikirmes" weekend. Everything was just like "the good old days," even though we had read something quite different in the reviews about Rustika beforehand. Many negative and very critical comments. Of course, guests have different perspectives, but this Balkan restaurant fulfills everything that makes a restaurant of this culinary genre popular and special – the food, service, and ambiance. Compliments to the chef. Very good food and atmosphere.

This was our first time here with the family. The portions were overwhelming. Far too much, which makes you wonder about the quality of the meat. I had a turkey steak with hollandaise sauce. The schnitzel was very bland, barely seasoned. The sauce had been poured over the schnitzel and curdled, suggesting that the food was kept hot in a convection oven before serving. The cevapcici were very salty, and the duvec rice was mushy and watery. Only the liver was a hit with the family. The restaurant could definitely use some modernization. The service was friendly. Our conclusion: if you like enormous portions (and can live with the fact that a lot of food is wasted due to the sheer quantity), then this is the place for you. It's not for us, and we won't be back.

Price/performance ratio is right

Meat undercooked and without seasoning! Drinks didn't arrive for 40 minutes! And we couldn't pay at the table either! After 30 minutes, I went up to the front to pay at the counter. What a shame! Unfortunately, it's no longer as good as usual! But unfortunately, it's not satisfactory! I've deleted my review from last year! It doesn't deserve 5 stars anymore!

The food here is super delicious and plentiful. The service is incredibly friendly and very fast. I highly recommend this restaurant, as there's something for everyone and the prices are still completely reasonable. The ambiance is also very nice and rustic, reminiscent of the old days, but that's exactly what makes this restaurant special. We'll be going back as often as we do to have a lovely evening! Hey! We attended the Dierksmeier Hearing Aids anniversary celebration today. There was live music starting at 11 a.m. Everything was great. Unfortunately, the entire event took place in sweltering heat. The owner of the Rustica restaurant could have provided some shade with his parasols. Unfortunately, things didn't turn out as planned. He preferred to fold up the parasols and let the band and the audience endure the sweltering heat. Nice gesture. Word gets around!

I can't comment on the food or service. However, we found the owner to be very rude. At our neighbor's 35th anniversary, he refused to allow the band to use his umbrella to shade them (he had opened it, but closed it after a short while with nasty comments). He even called the public order office, but to no avail. We won't be eating there!

Everything was great. The food came very quickly. You'll get your fill here! The price/performance ratio is right. The staff is very friendly. We look forward to next time.

Everything at Rustika is TIP TOP! For 4 people, we paid an average of 21 euros for a drink each + free schnapps from the bar + rich food. Ambience, service, taste and price are outrageously good!! Personally, I am of the opinion that you can add 1-2 euros to each dish. At the moment you hardly pay more at Rustika than in a snack bar and I think the price can definitely be a little lower given the rustic vaulted ambience. You should definitely like meat when you go to Rustika. Vegetarians won't get their money's worth here - but they don't have to! ✓

A very good restaurant for many years!

We had booked a table for 8 people. From the start we didn't feel welcome. The reception by a completely overwhelmed service staff was anything but hospitable. The service staff was very unfriendly and answered our questions very unwillingly, e.g. E.g. if they could bring us the side salad. She told us she was alone and that wasn't possible, even though it was offered on the menu. But the sound makes the music. We guests had to distribute what we ordered ourselves; it was handed to us, be it the drinks or the food, like in a youth hostel. The quality of the food wasn't great. Everything was carelessly slapped onto the plate. Fried potatoes were mushy and floating in oil, the steak was burnt. A round of ordered schnapps was not accepted, there would be no one left. ?????Criticism was not accepted, only the lack of staff was pointed out again. It's outrageous to let the guest feel that. Something like that is not appropriate and is unprofessional for the paying guest.

Got there today at 2:30 p.m. Opening hours according to the internet and the signs on the door Open all Sundays from 12:00 p.m. They would then be intercepted at the door and sent away, saying, "We're taking a lunch break now, we can come back at 5 p.m." First and last attempt.

The service was perfect and the owner is just shooting. He has a sense of humor and makes the guests laugh, so when I come back it won't just be because of the delicious food but also just because of him.

The food was quite good, but my meal had such a thick, solid layer of hollandaise sauce on it that I had to dig around to fish out my food. But taste good. Visually a bit old, but still comfortable. What I really have to complain about is the service. Were received unfriendly and heard disrespectful statements. And at the end after paying the waiter got very rude until we were outside. I'm annoyed by every penny of tips we gave. If you don't value service, you can still eat quite well there.

Staff unfriendly, constantly stressed. Just don't feel like being nice

So we came to the restaurant and at first glance it might have looked a bit run down but it still had its shame for me. I personally found the food very tasty. My biggest point why I'm writing this review is because of the half-bald waiter. I've never been treated as unfriendly in a restaurant as I was there. The waiter thought it was funny to make fun of my looks and my boyfriend's. He made two very unpleasant jokes that you wouldn't want to hear while eating.

Yesterday we had dinner with 5 people, a good Yugoslavian restaurant that reminds us of the old days, with not exorbitant prices and a great taste of meat. I really liked the salad and the friendliness of the staff

Best cordon bleu. I'm actually so happy with a waiter who cracks his jokes. It's funny, correct and very tasty food. In any case, I can only recommend it. Very nice restaurant and I go there almost every week or two to have lunch or dinner there. The prices are okay and the meat is of a very high quality folks. All I can really tell you is don't walk, run there and try it out for yourself. The store is just great. My grandma has known the owner of the store for 60 years now and since I was born I've loved going there because of that great load. I kiss your hearts Habibi and yes later I'll be back with you.👋.

Food was very tasty, but there was too much on the plate.

Greeting a bit stiff, afterwards very friendly. Food good and plentiful. Balkan liver fried to perfection. Not a hard thing in the liver. Cevapcici looked homemade and tasted great (maybe a little too much salt, but that's a matter of taste). Finally a restaurant where the minced meat dishes don't come pre-made from the factory. The salad buffet is rich. Gladly again. Unfortunately, no card payment is possible.

Here the name says it all. Bombica, I can only recommend it. Service, food (quantity and quality) and prices. Everything fits here. It's just a shame that the owner doesn't even read his reviews, or at least doesn't thank you for them. But that's probably a "mentality".

Showed up on Sunday with 4 people at the worst possible time, 6 p.m. Reserved of course, otherwise nothing is going on. Nice welcome, nice place. There are actually no really bad places! Full house, but dedicated service staff who maintain their poise despite difficult guests. The waiting time was surprisingly short considering the full house. You can only give 5 stars for the selection and quality of the food! But what finally convinced us today (see Zorba's comparison) is the outstanding price-performance ratio!!!! Stay exactly as you are!!!

We ate there for the first time this afternoon following a recommendation. There were large portions, unfortunately the meat was on the grill for too long and was therefore dry. The salad bar was nice, where you could help yourself. Unfortunately, the staff was totally overwhelmed and some of them had to move, that's not how you treat customers. If someone had climbed onto the salad bar, the waiter would simply shove it back into the bowls instead of cleaning it up - that's not possible. We won't be coming back

Too few staff for a fully occupied restaurant.

Wir sind nach einer Wanderung mit mehreren Personen ohne Reservierung dort eingekehrt und wurden sehr freundlich an einen Tisch geleitet. Die Bedienung war freundlich, Getränke und Essen wurde zeitnah serviert und es war sehr lecker. Besonders gefallen hat mir die gemütliche Atmosphäre im Restaurant.

5/5 . It was my first time at Rustika and I was thrilled. Very courteous staff, good prices for very rich and tasty food and a wonderful ambience. Unfortunately I'm only visiting Dienslaken, but I'd like to come back as soon as I can.

I have been visiting this restaurant for several years and can only report positive things. The food tastes excellent and is of high quality. The portions are huge, but there are also children's plates and senior dishes. The staff is friendly and attentive. For dishes with salad, you can put it together according to your own wishes at the salad buffet. The atmosphere is very cozy. The prices are really fair for today's times. I will continue to enjoy visiting this restaurant.

We got 4 places at short notice. As always, delicious and more than enough. Nice service. Unfortunately no card payment possible. But it is pointed out at the entrance.

Was there today with a business partner. Food was ok, but nothing more. The sauce was so-so, tasted like a finished product. A really cozy Croatian restaurant with good food. I was there on a business trip and immediately felt at home. The nice waiter really tried to get me a seat even though the place was full. There was a schnapps on the house beforehand. For food there is steak and typical Balkan dishes. I had a grill plate. A really big portion and super tasty. If you don't like eating a lot of meat, you might want to order a smaller portion. I was there three times in one week, and if I'm in Dinslaken again, I know where I'm going.

Very friendly staff. The staff is a bit older and sometimes a bit overwhelmed. Sometimes you have to plan for a little longer waiting time. But everyone is extremely friendly. The food was great! The atmosphere is rustic, everything is very clean.

You can dine excellently in a cozy atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and serves in a polite manner. It is simply a feel-good restaurant with class. We recommend.

Christmas 2021 Had dinner there. No 2G or 3G control. The food wasn't that good either, fries were soggy. Meat partially fried to death. Staff, although not fully staffed, were quite annoyed. We ate here again after a long time, it was very tasty and the staff was friendly as usual

Had dinner there yesterday with 8 people. The food was great, from steak to cevapcici, everything was really very good. The portions are actually too big. Salad buffet, everything fresh. Extra requests were no problem. The very nice waiter is awesome. We had a lot of fun with his sayings and humor. The staff was consistently very open-minded and very friendly. The decor is rustic, the name says it all. But everything is clean and well maintained. We'd love to come back

The best Italian restaurant I have eaten in so far. The entire staff was very friendly and professional. Food tastes incredibly delicious. We once had a daily menu (pizza with chanterelles/ham) and a schnitzel Mama. Both with a small salad with homemade dressing. All ingredients fresh. The only complaint is the high prices. But if you can afford something, then a clear recommendation.

Unfortunately the food didn't taste good at all this time. The meat tasted like it had been fried in old rancid butter. The service wasn't that great either. All in all a failure. We won't eat here anymore

Essen war ok....Personal und Chef waren sehr sehr unfreundlich..... Getränke brauchten 25 min. Bis sie bei uns waren,falsches essen serviert und nicht mal den Fehler eingesehen,mussten es doppelt zahlen!!!! Food delicious, generous portions, price absolutely right

We were back at Rustika after a long time, we were used to really good things before and were unfortunately disappointed today... the portions are quite large, but the taste and the quality of the meat are not even remotely worth a good rating. The ambience urgently needs a general overhaul. We really missed the friendliness of the employees today. It's a shame, unfortunately it's no longer worth a visit for us.

U a delicious Julischka, which is served before the meal! 23 ago For the first time in rustic from the outside it doesn't seem very big but it's deceptive! War am Sonntag zum ersten Mal da, was soll ich sagen es war einfach genial. Sehr leckeres Essen, Menge der Portion mehr als genug. Aber das beste am ganzen, ich bin noch nie so gut unterhalten worden wie hier, genau mein Humor. Ich hatte wirklich Tränen in den Augen und kam aus dem Lachen nicht mehr raus. Danke für lecker Essen und der guten Unterhaltung. Absolut Empfehlenswert

The food was cold and the service was very unfriendly. Actually, you should generally avoid such places. The cutlery in particular was very dirty, but the atmosphere was not very good.

Me and my family usually go there for years. We were always very satisfied. Today we were there with our dog. We didn't know that dogs weren't allowed (they never thought about it). We took one step into the restaurant and were immediately thrown out in a very cheeky and rude manner. The owner was always very accommodating and polite. The “new waiter” is the absolute opposite. Absolutely rude and disrespectful. I will never leave a cent there again. And I will make it known too. I would be the last person who would have taken offense to the dog if it had been said in a sensible way. Apparently things are going well, so people are treated with the necessary respect. Maybe it would be better to invest money in decent staff or the existing schools. This is how you ruin the good food and scare away guests.

We used to enjoy eating there, extremely dissatisfied on both last visits, don't go there anymore, meat inedible, vegetarian food, ready-made food. Waiter crushed leftover food with plates at the table and felt he had to make stupid comments. It's a shame it used to be good.

I went to this restaurant for the first time with my husband today. We were really excited. The food was very tasty and plentiful. I had to have something packed because I wasn't expecting so much meat. The killer is the waiter. I've never experienced anything like that. He is a comedian and at the same time a waiter. That was amusing. At first I thought he was being rude because he was talking loudly to a lady at the next table. But that was just entertainment. We really laughed today. Such an experience. Can only be warmly recommended.

We go there regularly and are always very satisfied with the price/performance ratio, the service is top, hats off to what you do every day! We will be back definitely!

My husband and I eat at Rustika about once or twice a month! We are always very satisfied.....Our favorite waiter is always up for a joke and we really like the dry, honest humor!!! We are very happy with the food and the staff,,,,, The boss is likeable and the other (blonde) waitress is also really very nice!!!!!! We look forward to eating there again soon!!!!
