Sehr gut. Waren zur Tauffeier. Lecker essen, gute Preise. Eigener Bereich für uns. Buffet aber für alle. Gibt nix zu meckern. Man kann auch mit denen reden und auf die eigene Feier anpassen. Tischdeko wird auch gestellt. Der Aussenbereich ist überdacht und super für die Kinder. Vorausgesetzt da sitzen keine Leute. Das Buffet ist vorne an der Theke.

We were in the Runkelkrug again, even without City for Two. Price performance is very good. Service attentive. Unfortunately, the first time and now again, there was a hesitant response when we wanted small changes to the dishes on offer. Given the prices offered, this should be possible without any problems. Conclusion we will be back.

Unfortunately I came back. Mid-January 2025. And again I was very disappointed by both the quality of the food and the inattentive service, especially given the unreasonably high price level! The other 10 guests at our table felt the same way! There was no one who was really happy. The operators of the Runkelkrug Gastronomy shouldn't be surprised if the good former 3*** only becomes 2**. It's a shame - with the right (read: friendlier, more attentive and more competent) staff and REASONABLE prices, you could keep long-term regular customers. We'll keep an eye on the matter. At least our colleagues want to move the meeting point at short notice. I'm already looking forward to getting to know another location at the next meeting.

Pizza arrived raw, it didn't hurt the adult but the child (10) felt bad!

wer schlecht und teuer essen möchte ist hier an der richtigen Stelle. Allerhöchstens Bistro Qualität. Versalzene totgebratene Burger, auf dem Salat mit Hühnchen lag ein paniertes Schnitzel aus der Tüte, Grünkohl eine Kinderportion. Karg und ungemütlich eingerichtet. Nie wieder.

The three of us were at the Runkelkrug at the end of November. A table reservation is recommended. The service was solid and friendly. My pizza Tonno was a little too greasy and lightly seasoned, but still delicious. The ladyburger and the second pizza were well received. Definitely we'll go there again.

Had a spontaneous meal at Runkelkrug yesterday, everything was great. Service was very nice, food came very quickly, schnitzel with mushroom sauce, fried potatoes and a salad. It was plentiful and very tasty. I also treated myself to a dessert, vanilla ice cream with strawberries and cream, delicious. Goods very satisfied with everything. Price was right because I always say "yolo"

We celebrated my niece's baptism - a wonderful day with delicious food, outside in the beer garden in beautiful weather. I can only recommend the Runkelkrug for families with children. A beautiful playground next to the beer garden invites you to play. It's a relaxed atmosphere. The employees conjure up a beautiful day Just a small note. The Grill Dreierlei would be even better if there was a small salad and a bit more meat. The spare ribs were super tasty and the pointed cabbage with pike perch was a dream.

I can't understand the good reviews. Maybe I haven't fully understood the concept yet, but it can't be that they really demand that you have to sit in the dirt for your 80th birthday. After complaints and minutes of discussion, we were finally seated on the semi-acceptable terrace. It wasn't that dirty there, but the decoration was very special. I wouldn't even give sausage jars as flower vases to my mother-in-law. Then all the flowers were completely withered - this was due to the lack of water in the sausage jar. This was probably already used up to prepare the food. That's what they tasted like. In addition, when we ordered drinks, at least half of it was a habitat for insects. So the glass of cola was full of insect parts and some of them were still alive. Unfortunately we are vegan and had to have it returned. In addition, the staff lacks the consideration and friendliness that I expect in a restaurant. Some of us were simply left sitting and had to wait an hour for the food. Afterwards we were fobbed off with the explanation that there was so much going on. So I could only see empty tables. I have no idea which guests were imagined. To eat: The veggi burger was bland, no taste and dry. The vegan red curry (which was yellow, by the way) at least had the taste of burnt 3/10 Decoration and ambience: As already mentioned, sausage jars as vases, various containers with siff water were randomly everywhere (I thought I was in a chemistry laboratory), The electrical cables were hanging from the ceiling instead of being fastened properly, the tablecloth was already gnawed (someone probably got hungry while waiting or it tasted better than the food), And there were still containers from a buffet around in which bacterial cultures had already collected, which could certainly soon be viewed as a more developed civilization. 2/10 Staff: Yes, what else can I say about that... We thought we were in a comedy show with a hidden camera. However, after much hope, this did not turn out to be the case. There was no tip either... 1.5/10 In summary, I can say, That I can only recommend the Runkelkrug if you invite someone you don't like there, it should also be suitable for a separation (then the other person already knows what to expect), Or you are masochistically inclined.

We celebrated our wedding at the Runkelkrug in June. The staff was friendly and accommodating from start to finish. During the preparations, we always had an easy-to-reach contact person, and every one of our wishes and comments was addressed. Everything went smoothly on the wedding day, if not, we didn't notice. The food was super delicious! Thank you for making our wedding unforgettable with your help!

A nice and cozy restaurant. Given the size and ambience, I could imagine that larger celebrations could also take place here. (just a guess). The pizza we ordered was very tasty.

We waited about 1 hour for the food. That was also cold. Unfortunately not so great.

We've been there a few times and there was nothing to complain about. Food very good. This time, however: Unfortunately, completely disappointing! Still had no food after 1 1/2 hours. The order was probably forgotten. Apparently it was because of an oven... We then wanted to leave the location. Of course, you still have to pay for 3 drinks. How could I possibly assume that this could be on the house as an excuse.... The service person responsible for us (table 64) reacted unreasonably. Quote: I'm not arguing... apologizing is obviously not the strength. The very nice lady from the service was obviously more understanding. Maybe fill the position of the master again then you won't scare away guests with this way..... It's a shame because for us that was it with the Runkelkrug in the future.

Delicious food, friendly and cheerful/motivated service and the ambience is great too. It is very noisy on 'the terrace' when it is full and parking spaces are also few and far between.

First impression is quite good. Then the fiasco began. Food was ordered, other guests came after us. You can guess 3 times who gets their food and who doesn't. Our table was now passed over in the 3rd round, and when asked, the staff became very rude. Especially towards older people.

Wir waren zu viert gegen 18:00 Uhr da. Man muss warten, dass der Tisch zugewiesen wird. Obwohl wir schon 10 Minuten warteten, hat der Kellner in aller Ruhe an einem 12 Personen Tisch die Bestellung aufgenommen, bevor uns ein Tisch zugewiesen wurde. Wir wollten gerne im Innenbereich sitzen. Statt im Restaurant wurde uns ein Tisch auf der komplett leeren Terrasse zugewiesen. Wer sitzt gerne ganz alleine? Nachdem wir > 60 Minuten auf das Essen gewartet und schließlich 2 x ohne Reaktion nachgefragt haben, weitere 20 Minuten vergingen, haben wir das Essen abgelehnt und die Getränke bezahlt. Keine Entschuldigung, nichts. Ich bin nicht bereit, für entgangenes Essenvergnügen auch noch 100€ und mehr zu bezahlen, wenn man über den Hunger hinaus ist. Sorry liebe Leute vom Runkelkrug, bitte kommuniziert es, wenn es mal länger dauert. So vergrault man Gäste. Wir kommen nicht wieder.

Ambiance inside or winter garden/terrace was very pleasant but not a highlight. The beer garden, however, is a completely different story. Nevertheless, despite everything, it was very neat and clean. Service great, very attentive and absolutely willing to compromise when ordering and responds well to the guests' wishes! Quality of food, fresh and absolutely recommended! Beer and drinks, good selection.

The food was delicious. We can recommend the pizza and the spare ribs were also very good. However, I found the prices to be quite high. The Pizza Diavolo for 14€...

Not for me.....I know the shop from before....it was more rustic.....better for me. Not my taste anymore. Louder than normal.

Been there for the first time and unfortunately quite disappointed. Veggie burgers of the worst kind...but the fries were delicious. The ambience actually deserved 0 stars because the room we booked was freezing cold. It was probably poorly communicated. Luckily there were hot drinks

As a larger society, we were there. There was a buffet, the selection was standard. What was served cold as antipasti was also served warm. However, what was supposed to be warm wasn't warm. The side dishes were also cold. The taste was average. Our service at the table was not very motivated. The ambience is quite good inside, but it is not very inviting outside. The ? Beer garden was unkempt. Even if it's not time to use it yet, you can see it from the restaurant. Some tidying up and cleaning would be helpful. For us it was not a recommendation to eat there.

A really great restaurant. The taste is absolutely A1. It's always well attended, which is always a good sign. I can definitely recommend the restaurant. The waiting times are also very quick. You don't have to wait long for your food.

A short stop, simply because we miss sitting here in the beer garden 🤣 Oh, it was really great again. Actually, we each just wanted a delicious beer, but then we decided on the 3 crostini and were surprised when we were recommended a 4th one. 3 wasn't enough for us, but we didn't want to eat much either. We ordered tzatziki and baguette at the tip of the friendly and customer-oriented employee. We were thrilled! And the best? Everything was just incredibly delicious! We have been here many times and have never been disappointed.

Eigentlich war es nur die Notlösung hier zu Frühstücken- aber es hat uns wirklich gut gefallen! In ganz Bielefeld war kein Platz zum frühstücken zu bekommen- hier hatten wir Glück! Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut! Es gab frische Bäckerbrötchen! Lachs, Mett mit Zwiebeln, diverse Käse und Wurst. Obstsalat, Cerealien, gebackenes Gemüse. Neben Rührei und Speck gab es auch Backes Beans und Nürnberger Würstchen. Kaffee gibt es reichlich auf dem Tisch, Tee und Kakao sind im Preis enthalten. Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Es wäre schön wenn ein Saft und Mineralwasser zusätzlich angeboten würde das sollte eigentlich keinen großen Kostenfaktor darstellen. Die Räumlichkeiten sind gemütlich eingerichtet und wir werden bestimmt wieder vorbeikommen! Vielleicht im Sommer um den Biergarten zu besuchen!

Reserviert für 20 Personen, wurden auf 2 Tischen verteilt. Am Samstag eine kleine Karte mit wenig Gerichten. Sollte man vielleicht online ankündigen. Pizza war kalt und sehr hart. Preise sehr hoch. Gibt bessere Restaurants im Raum Bielefeld und Gütersloh. Wenig Parkmöglichkeiten für so ein großes Restaurant.

Wir waren mittlerweile mehrfach im Runkelkrug. Ob mit Freunden oder auch zu einer größeren Veranstaltung! Der Runkelkrug ist mit seinem sympathischen Team und seinem engagierten Chef für uns noch eine Art Geheimtipp in Bielefeld! Im Sommer auch ein schönes Ausflugslokal

Eine Bekannte hatte uns dort mit ca. 10 Leuten eingeladen. Es war eine sehr nette, aufmerksame, Bedienung. Die belegten Brote,der Kuchen, Kaffee war alles sehr lecker und weiter zu empfehlen. Wir waren alle sehr zufrieden.

Wir waren am 2. Weihnachtstag da. Leider wurden wir hier vom angebotenen Buffet auf ganzer Linie enttäuscht! Kaum Auswahl, kalte Speisen, lange Wartezeiten das Speisen nachgelegt wurden und Kritik traf auf Unverständnis! Da nützt es auch nicht das die kalten Speisen, leider wurde nicht mal Fleisch angeboten, überwiegend schon geschmeckt haben, wenn auch letztendlich kaum Auswahl da war. An Nachspeisen war gar nicht zu denken....! Wir können den Runkelkrug als Location für ein zukünftiges familieres Weihnachtsesssen nicht empfehlen. Das können andere definitiv besser!!!!!

Waren schon häufiger da und das Essen ist meist okay, selten gut und leider immer mal wieder sehr schlecht. Vor ein paar Tagen waren wir in einer größeren Gruppe zur Weihnachtsfeier da. Der Service war gut und das Ambiente gemütlich. Die Essens-Auswahl war aufgrund der Gruppengröße eingeschränkt - das ist okay. Aber leider gab es kaum vegetarische Varianten und der vegetarische Burger war nicht gut. Dafür auch noch recht teuer. Schade… Vielleicht geben wir dem Laden im Sommer noch mal eine Chance - der Biergarten ist wirklich nett - aber sonst eher nicht mehr…

Wir waren als Gesellschaft da und es hat alles gepasst. Zu den Preisen kann ich nichts sagen, da wir nicht die Rechnungsempfänger waren.

Wir waren als Gäste auf einer Hochzeit da. Der Service war leider super schlecht: man ließ uns 30min einfach auf dem Parkplatz stehen. Getränke wurden nicht angeboten trotz Hitze. Die zum Empfang gereichten Canapés waren so schnell weg, dass man nichts davon bekam. Da die Tische so eng standen, waren die zwei Angestellten mit den Häppchen nicht erreichbar. Bis es endlich Essen gab plünderten wir die Minibar. Das Essen schwamm in Fett, war aber sonst ganz gut. Die Tischkarten waren falsch: so gab es zu viele Plätze für Familie und zu wenig für Freunde. Getränke gab es nach dem Essen nur noch an der Theke, es ging niemand rum.

Da gehen wir bestimmt noch mal zum Essen.

Ohne Tisch Decke, Stinkende Saal portion viel zu Klein!!! Wir sind hungrig nach Hause zurückgekommen.

Ich kannte den rmRunkelkrug noch aus "uralten" Zeiten und war daher mehr als positiv überrascht. Keine überladene Speisekarte, aber trotzdem eine gute Auswahl für jeden Geschmack. Sehr freundliches Personal, alles sehr sauber, einfach eine Top - Empfehlung. Das einzige, was ich persönlich nicht so mag, ist das etwas kühle Ambiente, aber das ist wirklich Geschmackssache. Ich war im Herbst da, möchte aber auf jeden Fall mit im Sommer dort hin, da der runkelkrug einen schönen Außenbereich hat, den ich gerne mal testen möchte.

Ein gutes Lokal, ich kenne aus Zeiten, wo es noch eine Kegelbahn gab. Ist lange her, ist alles komplett umgebaut. Der Service ist super, das Essen war lecker. Aber liebe Inhaber, macht was an der Akkustik. Es kann nicht sein, das wir uns mit Bekannten treffen und können nicht verstehen, was der Gegenüber sagt. Toll, das wir uns umsetzen konnten. Aber da war es auch laut, schade. Ich denke, wir werden nicht wiederkommen.

Sehr schönes Restaurant. Waren zum Brunch dort, Geburtstag von Schwiegermutter. Die Auswahl war wirklich Klasse , die Qualität war top und alles frisch. Der Service war spitze , sehr höflich und freundlich . Die Damen haben sich sehr viel Mühe das man sich wohl fühlt. Der aussen Bereich ist perfekt für Kinder wenn das Wetter gut ist. Es gibt einen kleinen Spielplatz und ein kleines Wäldchen wo die Kinder sich austoben können. Im Sommer ist der Biergarten bestimmt ein Traum sah alles sehr schön aus. Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen.

Wir waren mindestens acht Jahre nicht im Runkelkrug, da ich keine guten Erinnerungen an das Essen hatte - vor allem an eine nicht durchgebackene Pizza. Jetzt wurden wir mal wieder hier hin eingeladen und da die Gaststätte ja überlebt hat, waren wir von einer deutlichen Verbesserung ausgegangen. Wir kamen gegen 17:15 an und keine 10 min nach der Bestellung wurden die Backkartoffeln serviert. Die trockene Konsistenz ist die, die ich zu hause in der Mikrowelle aus vorgekochten Kartoffeln sehr gut reproduzieren kann. Pilze und Gemüse dazu waren in Asiasauce aus der Flasche angerichtet. Die gelangweilte und wenig gesprächige Bedienung brachte als nächstes den Veggie Burger. Das Patty war kaum gebraten und zerviel sofort. Die Dips waren auch nicht auf dem Burger sonder in Glasschalen. Die Pommmes eher mäßig. Das Brötchen war so trocken, das ich es liegen gelassen habe. Bekommt man bei McDonald's deutlich besser. Ketchup und Mayo gab es stilecht aus der Plastiktüte. Die armen Leute, die hier Hochzeit feiern... Der Fleischesser in unserer Runde war mit seinem Champignonrahmschnitzel sehr glücklich, vor allem mit der Größe und dem Preis, der natürlich nur durch die moderne Massentierhaltung möglich wird. Alles in allem ein ziemlicher Reinfall, keine Ahnung wo die anderen Bewerter gegesen haben...

Runkelkrug Salat schmeckt am besten

Also ich bin etwas enttäuscht, wenn man die Bilder im Internet sieht freut man sich und ist dann eher enttäuscht... Aber vielleicht haben wir auch einen schlechten Zeitpunkt erwischt! Das Buffet war sehr mager angerichtet, auf Brötchen mussten wir lange warten... Neben den Pfannkuchen stand eine Flüssigkeit, die von mir als Vanillesauce identifiziert wurde allerdings aber Spargelsuppe war. Leider hatte ich diese schon auf dem Pfannkuchen. Es war leider nichts ausgeschrieben so dass man nicht genau wusste was man inhaltlich vor sich hat. Service sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Ambiente ist okay. Alles zusammen war es okay aber habe etwas anderes erwartet... Ich würde jetzt nicht extra zum Frühstück kommen.

Waren zu dritt zum Essen. Freundliches Personal und gutes Essen. Waren sehr zufrieden. Kommen gern wieder.

Seit Jahren sind wir hier immer wieder gerne, ob im Biergarten oder Restaurant. Zum Essen, zum Brunch oder für eine Familienfeier, gerne im Runkelkrug.

Dieser Salat für 14 Euro war einfach unterirdisch. Fazit: Nicht empfehlenswert !

Bei schönem Wetter, schwierig, sicherlich wegen Personalmangel. Aber trotzdem kommen wir immer wieder gerne. Weil die Küche Super ist.

Wir haben den Abend im Biergarten verbracht und waren mit allem rundum zufrieden.
