The service was overwhelmed and disorganized. Later, they preferred to stand at a table chatting with friends, even though we had already waited 30 minutes for our reordered drinks. Then two waitresses took a break, and the chaos in the overcrowded restaurant was complete. We ended up going somewhere else for a drink. The burgers, fries, and salads were good. The atmosphere was very loud with music.

I eat steak, it's ok but not a good as some stake house. Second time I eat burgers, good but again, noting specials. Anyway, solid 4 stars

We went to RUF’S Burger today and it was absolutely delicious – so good, you almost choke on your mouth! 😄 A huge compliment to Leon in the kitchen: the burgers were perfectly cooked, juicy, and bursting with flavor. I'd also like to give a special shout-out to Ivona in the front of house – she was incredibly friendly, attentive, and warm. We felt welcome right away. We ate in for the first time on Sunday, having ordered takeout several times before. The restaurant was quite full, and the noise level was high, making it difficult to hear each other. Our drink and food orders were taken and served quickly, the service was friendly, and the burgers were as good as ever. We especially recommend the Philly Cheese Fries! We'll be back! 👍🏼

The place is okay, rustic decor. The service is awful. One waitress never looks at you, the other is doing something behind the bar but is completely unproductive and unfriendly. The place isn't even half full and they can't keep up. Maybe they're good as statues downtown, but not as servers. The homemade sodas are a nightmare, I've never drunk anything so disgusting, made from syrup. The burger was okay. Never again.

Seriously, this is by far the worst Ruffs Burger I've ever been to. The only thing that was okay were the fries. Unfortunately, the burger itself wasn't very good, and my companion's burger patty was overcooked and raw inside (and no, not raw, but raw ground beef!). The service was friendly, but... well... The lemon-ginger soda was also bad; the piece of ginger looked more like driftwood. I don't know what the restaurant's hygiene regulations are, but it seemed like any customer could just wander into the kitchen... and the kitchen staff didn't exactly inspire confidence in their hygiene standards, judging by what I saw. Definitely my last time here.

We ordered burgers for delivery yesterday. I think the burgers tasted quite good, but they were very basic. I just don't think the price-performance ratio is right. The "mixed" salad with its three lettuce leaves cost €6.90 for delivery, and the burgers were around €13. Overall, the portions could definitely be bigger.

The restaurant is attractively decorated; I'd describe it as a mix of modern and rustic. Using the old workbench as a table is a cool idea. During our visit, the place was probably three-quarters full, resulting in a pretty loud noise level. The really good and fresh quality of the ingredients is worth emphasizing; the meat was top-notch, as were the homemade sauces. We tried both the "pimped" fries and the classic sweet potato fries. Both were really tasty and prepared just right. I just found the burgers a bit too small for me personally. As has been mentioned many times in reviews, the service could be a bit more attentive. Unfortunately, the question of whether we wanted to order anything else was never asked. All in all, a good place for fine burgers with some potential for improvement.

I give it 3 star only because the waitress was not attentive. It would have been a great experience except we ordered a cheese burger plain without sauce or veggies. 1st burger had tomatoes, 2nd burger had lettuce, pickles, sauce (no tomatoes) 3rd burger was just the burger without the cheese. How do you mess up a cheeseburger with only cheese 3 times? Slow down and listen to the customer. On another note the food was delicious. Vegan burger was great also! Food came to the table fast. Will do again if there is a different server.

We were at Ruff's Burger yesterday. The place was empty, just us and two other customers. Unfortunately, the service was still not attentive. The young man was clearly new—which isn't a problem, but it should be. They should train their staff better. Despite the empty place, we had to point out that we wanted to order. Unfortunately, the food arrived lukewarm! More buns than meat! Not really satisfactory. We had to wave again for further orders! Even to pay! There was nothing going on!! Then, when paying, the mistake happened—€70 was deducted from the card instead of €36! We were able to sort it out—but I had to tell the waiter what I was getting back—and that took forever because he didn't have any change! The atmosphere: There's so much going on that you can't really feel comfortable. A real shame.

Today we went to Ruffs Burger for a family meal 🍔 Reserved online for 7 people When we arrived at 7:00 PM, there was only one table occupied besides us. Service seemed completely overwhelmed while being trained, but they tried hard. Drinks came quickly. Food was ordered and arrived without any problems. Burgers were lukewarm and very manageable. The bun was larger than the patty. Taste was so-so. Fries were good, warm, and a good portion. The sauces were okay. The bill was incorrectly billed, and the server gave himself a €35 tip. Sorry, I have a lot of sympathy for new employees. Everyone needs to be trained first, but friendship ends when it comes to money. Summary of the evening: You can try, but there are better, and above all, much better, burgers in Regensburg.

Unfortunately, the crispy chicken burger wasn't cooked well. The meat was pink and unappetizing. When I mentioned it to the server, she said the meat was fine and would definitely be cooked through, as it arrived pre-cooked from the delivery service. Nevertheless, it was unappetizing for a chicken burger. I've never experienced anything like it before. I wouldn't order it again.

We ordered through Lieferando and are truly disappointed. While delivery was quick, the quality and preparation of the burgers were awful. The burger patties were either way too small or as thin as paper. A cheeseburger we ordered was covered in sauce. The burgers are generally tasteless and bland. For an average of €15 per burger, this is truly outrageous. We ended up with a bill of over €90. Highly recommended!

Our burgers were delicious, and the fries were our highlight. The service was friendly and quick. The atmosphere in front of the restaurant was like a quiet beer garden, very pleasant. We'll be happy to come back when we're in Regensburg.

About three weeks ago, we ordered lunch from Ruff's Burger via Uber Eats. Considering the relatively long delivery time, I think the delivery people are mostly at fault, but that's not a big deal. Unfortunately, they apparently didn't have enough meat left for our burgers, nor enough time for the patty to cook properly. After I pointed this out in an email to Ruff's Burger, I unfortunately didn't receive a response. Therefore, we will prefer to order our burgers elsewhere in the future.

I ordered from Ruffs Burger in Regensburg and got salad scraps as a side salad and a burger that was only half-topped. I called, but no one was available.

We were seated immediately. Friendly, but forgetful service. Quickly taken orders, unfortunately, some of them were incorrect (I apologized, as they were new). Food arrived quickly. Burgers and sides tasted great for our appetite, despite the somewhat small portions. The chicken wings were a large portion. I'd be happy to come back.

Fantastic BBQ Mixed Grill Under the Chestnut Trees I stopped by Ruff’s in Regensburg and tried their BBQ mixed grill. A great variety of tender, smoky ribs & buffalo wings, was perfectly seasoned and grilled, offering excellent value for the price. The loaded fries with chilli-cheddar was just the way I like it — spicy but not too hot. The rustic ambience inside carries that charming, down-to-earth vibe Ruff’s is known for, but the real highlight is the quaint outdoor dining area. Nestled beneath massive chestnut trees, it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy your meal in the fresh air. Our service-staff was warm and attentive, checking in just the right amount without ever interrupting our conversation. The service here always feels friendly and genuine. Great job! hope to see you guys again soon!

The burger restaurant exceeded all my expectations! We haven't had such good burgers in a long time!

We ordered three BBQ burgers for just under €42 via Uber Eats, but unfortunately, they arrived squashed. Sure, the product photos always look perfect, but that's not the point. It's more that we were expecting a really large burger for the hefty price of €13.90, and we were unfortunately disappointed in that regard. As a man, I ate two burgers and was still a bit hungry afterward 😅. What I can praise here, though, is the taste! The burger buns are soft and golden, the burger sauce was perfectly matched to the burger, and the overall package was simply convincing. I even think these were the best burgers my wife and I have ever eaten in Regensburg! In conclusion: very, very tasty, but the burgers are too small and too expensive for €13.90. Therefore, one star deducted.

Nicer than most other Ruffs Burger shops!

Good food and friendly service. They even have gluten-free buns, which is not always easy to find. They don't have a dedicated fryer, which the knowledgeable waitress took the initiative to let us know. But there are of course options available that aren't fried. If it wasn't so far from home, we'd go often.

A very nice, rustic, modern atmosphere, with friendly and fast service. Our burgers were delicious, and there's a great selection. There's also a wider selection of sauces than at other burger joints. We once had a complaint when picking up a burger in the past, but the problem was resolved with great care and friendliness. We definitely recommend it!

We picked up some food at Ruff’s for the last time today. Every order is missing something, this time it was the fries. Last time we had to wait half an hour because the food wasn't ready as promised over the phone. Until we asked about it and discovered that our food had been waiting in the kitchen for some time and was now cold. There was no compensation for this.

You can get this for €15.60. A low carb (no bun) chicken burger. Aka a glorified mini schnitzel with some lettuce and a tomato. The bacon was added for €1.70. Apparently sauce was forgotten.

I often pick up burgers there, unfortunately it was the last time. Some of the burgers are so full of sauce that half of them are already soggy when they are unpacked. Lettuce and tomato on the cheeseburger inedible, as well as the ranch sauce. But what is absolutely not possible is to give out raw meat. A disgrace for the price!

We made a reservation for two people and then left because they had no room. I find it disgraceful. If you accept reservations, you should be guaranteed a spot.

The best burgers I've ever eaten. The wait was a little longer even though there was nothing going on, but it was worth EVERY minute to wait. For anyone who likes truffles, the truffle fries are a must and the homemade lemonades are not overly sugary, which was very pleasant. Highly recommended, great restaurant for anyone who has a weakness for burgers.

I regularly eat the “Giggly Smashed Burger” or the “BBQ Burger”. I can only recommend the “Red Slaw” as a side dish. As a drink, I prefer sugar-free iced tea. Everything tastes good. The restaurant has a rustic ambience, which would be more suitable for a pub than a hip burger joint. The service is also mostly OK to good. However, I still have to vent a little and when I read through the reviews, this seems to happen more often: If you can't keep up with the customers in the restaurant, then you just have to make sure that Lieferando, Wolt and Co. are available for a limited time It is not possible to order burgers from outside, which also have to be prepared additionally, which results in long waiting times in the restaurant (can be up to an hour!). When the restaurant is empty, however, it is pleasant and you get the food promptly. P.S.: My heartfelt condolences to yesterday's waitress who didn't understand the purpose of a burger place from two old (possibly senile?) Boomers who sat next to us and complained about the prices and were probably expecting a Hofbräuhaus at Ruffs Burger and only ordered a Caesar salad. I also had to get rid of it. I hope that the next visit will be pleasant again and that my food will arrive a little sooner. I understand if the restaurant is full and you have to wait longer, but not that long. That's not possible in my opinion.

Review was based on the former Max and Moo. My favorite burger restaurant in Regensburg. I eat here very often and have never been disappointed. I particularly liked the Jägerburger with the steak sauce. And the lemonade is also delicious and refreshing. Nice and courteous staff. Special requests are always taken into account. Parking spaces are also in the immediate vicinity. I can only recommend it to everyone.

I didn't know Ruff's Burgers before and I was really positively surprised and will eat here again! Clear recommendation if you want a good burger meal :)
