Highly recommended, very tasty 😋

I often pick up burgers there, unfortunately it was the last time. Some of the burgers are so full of sauce that half of them are already soggy when they are unpacked. Lettuce and tomato on the cheeseburger inedible, as well as the ranch sauce. But what is absolutely not possible is to give out raw meat. A disgrace for the price!

We made a reservation for two people and then left because they had no room. I find it disgraceful. If you accept reservations, you should be guaranteed a spot.

The best burgers I've ever eaten. The wait was a little longer even though there was nothing going on, but it was worth EVERY minute to wait. For anyone who likes truffles, the truffle fries are a must and the homemade lemonades are not overly sugary, which was very pleasant. Highly recommended, great restaurant for anyone who has a weakness for burgers.

The burgers taste very good at a fair price, but they could be a little bigger. If you're really hungry, I would definitely recommend 2 patties. Fries are also very tasty, but the extra charge for sauces is not worth it in my opinion. Drinks: Tegernseer on tap - top. The homemade lemonades as non-alcoholic alternatives also looked good. -> We'd love to come back!

The service is understaffed and easily overwhelmed by many guests. Therefore, drinking and eating takes a little longer. However, food is more than good!

I regularly eat the “Giggly Smashed Burger” or the “BBQ Burger”. I can only recommend the “Red Slaw” as a side dish. As a drink, I prefer sugar-free iced tea. Everything tastes good. The restaurant has a rustic ambience, which would be more suitable for a pub than a hip burger joint. The service is also mostly OK to good. However, I still have to vent a little and when I read through the reviews, this seems to happen more often: If you can't keep up with the customers in the restaurant, then you just have to make sure that Lieferando, Wolt and Co. are available for a limited time It is not possible to order burgers from outside, which also have to be prepared additionally, which results in long waiting times in the restaurant (can be up to an hour!). When the restaurant is empty, however, it is pleasant and you get the food promptly. P.S.: My heartfelt condolences to yesterday's waitress who didn't understand the purpose of a burger place from two old (possibly senile?) Boomers who sat next to us and complained about the prices and were probably expecting a Hofbräuhaus at Ruffs Burger and only ordered a Caesar salad. I also had to get rid of it. I hope that the next visit will be pleasant again and that my food will arrive a little sooner. I understand if the restaurant is full and you have to wait longer, but not that long. That's not possible in my opinion.

Review was based on the former Max and Moo. My favorite burger restaurant in Regensburg. I eat here very often and have never been disappointed. I particularly liked the Jägerburger with the steak sauce. And the lemonade is also delicious and refreshing. Nice and courteous staff. Special requests are always taken into account. Parking spaces are also in the immediate vicinity. I can only recommend it to everyone.

Food was really delicious! The staff was also very friendly and the drinks and food came very quickly, even though the restaurant was busy, we only had to wait 20 minutes. I didn't know Ruff's Burgers before and I was really positively surprised and will eat here again! Clear recommendation if you want a good burger meal :)

The food is delicious and there is something for every palate. The ambience is modern-rustic. The service ladies should be more attentive. Waiting time for the empty glass for 30 minutes and then no service at all. It's a shame, considering what potential the restaurant and the food had.

Very solid burgers and nice ambience :) Unfortunately, when we were on site there were a few staff there and therefore the cottoning times were slightly increased. The existing staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Today we went to Ruff's Burgers and I had mixed feelings about our visit. The food was really tasty and met my expectations, but unfortunately the service was disappointing. The music was sometimes so loud that you could hardly understand the person you were talking to. We had to wait over 2 hours for our food, and even the drinks took an extremely long time. The waiters were friendly, but they never asked if everything was OK or if more drinks were needed. The empty plates sat on the table for ages and no one seemed to care. While we waited, however, one order after another went over the counter for various delivery services. Positive: Our complaint on site was taken into account and we received a dessert on the house. I hope the team works on organizing the service because the food definitely has potential. Until then, I can only partially recommend an evening there.

Unfortunately, our visit to Ruff’s Burger was a huge disappointment. We had to wait an incredible two hours for our food - that's really unacceptable. Although the staff was friendly, the extremely long waiting time spoiled the entire visit. The taste of the food was okay, but after such a long wait you just lose the joy of it. Better organization and faster processes are urgently needed.

Very solid burger in a nice atmosphere with good service. Nevertheless, there could be even more selection of vegetarian burgers.

Original review: As regular vegan customers with children and dogs, we are always happy to be guests here! Simply recommended! December 6th, 2024: Unfortunately, I have to revise (somewhat) my originally very positive rating. On our last 3 visits the service was simply terrible. People would rather chat at the counter with other service colleagues than serve the guests. There are always long waiting times for the drinks, it's best to get the drinks yourself, food orders are also reluctant to be accepted and the rösti was missing a salad once and 2 röstis! It's a shame given the great quality of the food and the lovely atmosphere! However, I will definitely not suggest going to Ruffs Burger any time soon, as the last three visits made me very uncomfortable with friends and family - to whom I had previously raved about the restaurant.

Great burgers and the best garlic fries I've ever had. The ribs were pretty good, but awful little dry. Their cocktails are awful though. I ordered a classic mojito; you can taste how cheap the rum is and the proportions were all wrong, there was almost 3 full spoons of sugar sitting at the bottom so it was more like drinking gritty, lime flavored rubbing alcohol. But I will be back to have more burgers and garlic fries.

We have eaten at Ruffs twice so far. An order via Wolt, which unfortunately arrived cold despite the short delivery route. And once the consumption in the restaurant, which I can only rate positively. The burger shop is manageable with a clean design and enough space between the tables. I like. The service was friendly and quick. I can't understand the negative criticism here, the food was at our table straight away, as were the drinks. The truffle burger with the truffle fries was very tasty! Came to the table hot and the fries were nice and crispy. For my taste it could have been more medium, but the taste was still very tasty. We'd love to come back.

Infinite waiting time. Sitting around for over 1.5 hours and no one else in the restaurant had anything to eat. How can that be? 2 people in service and 1 chef are simply not enough. Not recommended. Better go to McDonalds. Tastes better and is probably warm.

Food good, prices and service ok too. Only the waiting time was a bit annoying. Deliveries are constantly being made to pick-up and delivery services and the people in the restaurant are waiting with (almost) empty glasses for the burgers they have ordered. The restaurant was about 30% full and our food only arrived after about 45 minutes. When there were fewer people picking up food, the kitchen was also able to keep up with the orders better. If you were told about the longer waiting time when ordering, that would be progress. We'll definitely try it again, as things can go wrong...and we'll definitely allow a little more time.

The bottom line is disappointing when it comes to the quality and size of the burgers.

There were two of us yesterday and it was really just bad! It took about 15 minutes before we could order drinks. With the foresight, we ordered drinks and food together. Drinking came after 10 minutes, eating after 45 minutes. So we sat around hungry for about 60 minutes from the time we came in until we ate. The food was rather opposite, the burger was cold, the fries were hot! More exciting than good, especially when you're hungry! This was the last time I was there because we had a similar experience before and we wanted to give you another chance. The waiter wasn't interested in what there was to complain about either, because he didn't even ask if everything was OK. Out of activism, I simply told him that myself. As mentioned before, he just wasn't interested! The only thing that came quickly was the bill because the service seemed to be working somewhat again! Thank you for this repeated poor performance, so the selection is somewhat limited!

Unfortunately the service was disappointing. We had to wait 35 minutes to even order, even though it wasn't particularly busy. The drinks also took a long time to arrive and the food took over an hour to arrive. The staff seemed disorganized and overwhelmed. It's a shame, because the burgers were really tasty - the service simply should have been better.

There was wilted lettuce on the burger. The Garlic fries were swimming in oil. The atmosphere is anything but cozy... The service was non-existent! We waited 30 minutes for tickets to be brought to us. It took forever for the drinks to arrive. We received the food 75 minutes after ordering! You had to get your own salt and you also had to organize your own cutlery from the dinner table. Keller was at the table once after the food came. The drink that was ordered was also forgotten. After another 30 minutes in front of our empty plates and glasses, we ordered the additional drink at the counter and the bill. The change would have been kept by the waiter without comment...

Ladies and Gentlemen the parking options were very limited. The new food that my colleague and I tried was surprisingly not tasty, as was the cheese sauce with the fries. Therefore, I recommend you not to do experiments and order normal things.

I visit this restaurant regularly and can highly recommend the truffled beef burger. The combination of juicy beef, aromatic truffle mayo and melted cheddar cheese is simply delicious. The Belgian double fried fries are the perfect accompaniment. The non-alcoholic mojito with ginger ale is also a refreshing choice and completes the experience.

We were in the mood for burgers and chose this place because of the many good reviews. So first of all, the food was good, no WOW effect but good! The staff was friendly, but we should talk about time management... We got the cards pretty quickly but then waited almost 15 minutes to place the order... By the time we had the drinks we had already been in the store for 3/4 hours! Sry but drinks have to be drunk! When it comes to eating, you have to say that the burgers taste good but are small and the fries are well fried. When it comes to the sauces, I think it's a shame that some of them have to be paid extra. The bottom line is that it's ok if you have a lot of time and not much hunger.

Recommendation!!! If you want really good burgers, this is the place for you! Burger to fill you up and the taste is a 10/10!

Unfortunately it wasn't beautifully presented. The burgers simply slapped together, salad with cheroots on top. Better served at McDonalds.

Ordered food from Lieferando, then it was 15-20 minutes after the stated delivery time, called then said there were problems in the kitchen, they were sorry but the food would be out for delivery in 5-10 minutes. 10 minutes later the delivery was canceled and no one is answering the phone.

I had the giggly smashed burger, which was very good. Combined with fries, dips, and a beer, this was almost a perfect burger dinner. Definitely recommended.

About a year ago we were very enthusiastic about the restaurant and the burgers. Today we thought we would pick up some food here again. Unfortunately it wasn't wearable today. The fries were ok, but you had to look for the “Bluecheesecream” on the “Bluecheesecream Burger” to find the “Bluecheesecream”. You definitely can't taste them. Lettuce leaf is definitely from last week, it looks like the roll collapsed on the 3 minute drive home and the most disgusting part, the bacon, was never fried but simply put on it raw. see pictures. Very disappointing, as I find €10.50 for the burger alone to be expensive to pick up. When I wanted to call to complain, no one answered the phone. Wasted money, one can only hope that it was an exception but I had to withdraw my 5* rating from earlier.

Shortly before 5 p.m. I spontaneously went in with a friend. We were greeted warmly and were able to find a place. The service was friendly, not intrusive but present when we needed something. We ordered burgers, fries and the house soda. The burger was smaller than expected, but quite enough to fill you up. The fries were good. They could have just been a little hotter. The raspberry lemonade was top. I would go back at any time

Very friendly staff, the food was super tasty. We recommend the BBQ sauce, which you can choose to accompany the fries. The ambience is really nice. We would be happy to come back here. Next time we'll only have better weather so we can use the beautiful beer garden.

We ordered the salad with chicken strips twice to pick up (as quickly as possible). After we got there after 10 minutes, our delivery was already ready. This is a very big plus point. However, the salad wasn't really good, few ingredients and the chicken strips tasted very cheap. Looking at the other reviews, we should have opted for the burgers. However, salad is not recommended. Above all, for the price (€15 per salad) you could have gotten something better somewhere else (unfortunately it was a holiday and the selection of open restaurants was limited).

I eat at Ruffs regularly, and MOST of the time they are both reliable and tasty. But sometimes you get weird service like recooked burgers and last week the guy in the kitchen in NB told me they had closed down the kitchen at ~ 9:30 already even though the hours say open till 10. I also got a request from Google to remove an old posting because it was negative and I don't really appreciate the censorship.

EDIT 2024: Since I was asked to provide proof that I was a guest, I am editing the review. Because actually this burger store was different. And just because the owners are too stupid to open a new venue, I'm now being accused of lying. So I'm updating the review now. Old review: Sometimes hot, sometimes hot. The first visit was good. Delicious burgers, nice service and above all attentive service. The second visit was a real tragedy. Waited over 15 minutes to even get the card. And that even though the employee came by my corner several times and I should have noticed her. The friendliness seemed fake but at least they acted as if... The burger was good. But I think if you take bison you can't go wrong. :D The beer garden seems somehow uncomfortable and I don't think the interior design is very successful.

Ruffs Burger is definitely my new favorite place for burgers! The quality of the food is excellent and the atmosphere is simply inviting. Every bite is a taste experience that I enjoy again and again.

Today we spontaneously went for a burger. The service was very good despite being understaffed. Burgers were great. We would come back.

We ordered for 6 people. For almost 100€. Everyone had a burger and two guys had fries. Almost every burger was underseasoned. The fries were not well done. But at least the food was warm.

We ordered 6 of them for just under €100. Everyone only had one burger and a total of 2 fries. For the price the burger was really very disappointing. The veggie burgers were boring, barely topped and not worth €13. Normal fries were not completely cooked. Sweet potatoes were good for that. Beef was poor quality and unseasoned. The sauces (e.g. blue cheese) were very disappointing and tasted like nothing. Generally price-performance very poor. I expect burgers like this at Burger King.

I don't know if the kitchen staff was understaffed, but we had to wait 1.5 hours for the food when the restaurant was half full. My burger was now rather modest compared to other burger restaurants. The meat patty was very small and only filled half of the bun. Some of the lettuce on the burger also had brown to black edges. When I go to a restaurant, I expect fresh salad. My companion also forgot an ingredient on the burger. This was subsequently added after a complaint. The homemade lemonade was good and the staff was friendly too. Maybe we had a bad day, but overall I wasn't impressed and won't be visiting Ruffs Burgers again.
