The food and service are excellent. The ambiance is also great, but only 4 stars because it's a bit cramped.

The food was okay, and the price-performance ratio is relatively good. There wasn't enough sauce on the fries, and the trees were a nuisance.

Great ambiance! Went with a party of 2 around 14:45, got a table immediately. Make sure you scan the allergen QR code in the first page before ordering your food! We made that mistake and got an option containing peanuts, but about 5mins in, we realized and informed the kind waiter who changed the patty for us, no problem. We had the Ciao Bella and the Seelenheil. Both were delicious, but I loved the Ciao Bella more! I felt like the loaded fries portion could've been bigger, but otherwise it was okay!

We had a great time and really enjoyed the refreshed menu. The highlight for me were the churros with pistacchio sauce. The service by Tuan was also wonderful. He was really nice, attentive, and helpful. We'll be definitely back.

Burgers were good, but the sweet potato fries were way too salty. I was seated upstairs right next to the walking path and kept getting bumped by waiters and guests, they should really remove a few tables to make more space. The place itself is nice and the service was good, but these things made the visit a bit uncomfortable.

During our visit to Hans im Glück in Regensburg, we had one of the tastiest burgers we’ve ever tried. The service was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. Our waitress was particularly warm and welcoming, adding a personal touch to the evening.The ambience was delightful, with charming Halloween-themed décor and staff wearing creative, cute makeup that perfectly matched the festive mood. We were pleasantly surprised when complimentary shots were offered, which made the visit even more memorable.Overall, Hans im Glück in Regensburg delivered great food, friendly service, and a wonderful atmosphere — definitely a place worth revisiting.

The four of us tried everything on the menu and it was all delicious. The portions were generously sized and the decor was nice. It was just quite warm and stuffy (we sat upstairs by the window).

We went to eat at this amazing place last night...when we walked in, we almost just wanted to drink...and instead we ate...and a lot of it!! Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful! A rare and incredible place. I love the birch trees everywhere on the mezzanine ❤️

Everything was great! The service was super friendly and the food arrived very quickly. We arrived at 7:05 and were finished by 7:45, including paying.

The Regensburg branch is really cute, with everything small and quirky, typical of the area. Unfortunately, the food wasn't that great; the fries were very small (about 20 per portion), and both the regular and sweet potato fries were soggy and almost cold. The burgers were also average at best. The prices, however, were 👆🏽 Unfortunately, we weren't lucky with the service either.

Food and drinks were very good, the environment cozy and relaxing. The only negative aspect: the waitress didn't ask whether we wanted to leave a tip and just selected the option himself (+ €3.90, we paid €26.90 instead of €23.30).

Had a bowl, which was extremely delicious. We also had a burger, which seemed a bit lost on the plate. It was bare of anything. A bit unloved. The furniture was very plain. The wooden benches were covered in thin carpet. They were black and a bit rancid. Comfortable couldn't be better. Pricing was somewhat ambiguous. But it's perfectly fine for satisfying hunger.

We had a wonderful afternoon at Hans im Glück in Regensburg! The food was truly delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great seat on the second floor by the window, perfect for the beautiful weather. The food came quickly and was simply fantastic! The next day, we couldn't resist and went back again, this time to the outdoor seating area. The same positive experience again: friendly staff and delicious food! Whether in Hamburg, Chemnitz, or Regensburg – Hans im Glück is always worth a visit. Highly recommended!

The avocado fries were drenched in some kind of sauce. It definitely wasn't garlic mayo.

After our last spontaneous lunch outside, I was pleasantly surprised. The entire menu has changed since the previous visit, and for the better. The selection of vegetarian and vegan options has easily doubled, and they now even offer gluten-free (!) buns (for an additional charge). Desserts are now also available in vegan versions. The new burgers were also delicious. While I still find the interior too cramped and noisy, the outside area was very pleasant. We'll be coming back here more often in the future.

As usual at Hans im Glück, the food is highly recommended. Burger and a bowl are really good, and the portions are generous. Unfortunately, the price is a bit high...just under €55 in total 💶 Due to the large number of tourists, the wait time is also longer. But it's OK.

I was there yesterday and had the Smash Burger and garlic fries. The food was really good, the service was friendly and attentive, and the seating was really nice. It's a great place to go!

We had a table in a corner surrounded by a glass pane. The air was extremely stale there (not very pleasant on a hot day). Furthermore, the tables were very close together. The entire rest of the floor was empty, but we weren't allowed to move. Unfortunately, the burgers could have been larger. I was really looking forward to this visit today, but was unfortunately a bit disappointed by the ambiance. Although I have to say, the staff was friendly and the food came out quite quickly.

Considering that the food is mostly frozen and the drinks are premixed syrups, these insane prices are simply unjustified. Far too expensive for a fake left-wing, posh atmosphere. Besides, I can't in good conscience spend my money on a company that acts left-wing but supports right-wing groups.

The staff saved my birthday! I had actually booked a table for 12 people at another restaurant months in advance, but the restaurant was closed that weekend and didn't inform me of the change. So, I suddenly found myself in the old town with 12 tipsy girls, having to quickly get dinner for all of us in the middle of Regensburg during rush hour on a weekend. The staff were super accommodating and organized a cozy corner where we all had room. The food was amazing, I love the ambiance with the birch grove, and my birthday was saved, thank you! ❤️

Very good, friendly and helpful service, a wide variety of sandwiches and salads. You can choose any type of bread for your sandwich, several types of fries, various sauces, and many desserts. Very good value. I managed to have lunch on a weekday at 4 pm, which is very rare in Bavaria and the surrounding area. Highly appreciated. The outdoor space is very comfortable and shaded. There are both umbrellas and trees. The chairs are very comfortable. The bathroom is very clean.

Today in Regensburg, I was served a bacon burger as a vegetarian, and unfortunately, I didn't realize it until after the first bite. After complaining, the service was even more unfriendly, which is absolutely unacceptable. Everyone can make mistakes, but this shouldn't happen. For me and my family, who used to frequent Hans im Glück, this was definitely the last time. That's a sure way to scare away your guests. The day is ruined for me, and my mood is at rock bottom.

Dear Hans im Glück team, I tried four different products from your range via Lieferando and would like to give you some feedback: Farbenspiel Burger: The combination of beetroot, egg, avocado cream, and the "Wellness Peti" wasn't quite my cup of tea. For my taste, the individual components didn't blend together very well, but that varies from person to person, of course. Glücksgriff (vegan chicken burger): The vegan chicken alternative was really surprisingly delicious! As a meat eater, I was pleasantly surprised by how good the flavor was. My only criticism: the toppings were a bit scant overall. There was lettuce, onions, sauce, and a very thin slice of tomato, but I would have preferred a bit more filling in relation to the bun. Falafresh Burger: A real highlight! Fresh, with a light oriental spice, and a very well-rounded flavor overall. I would order it again anytime. Chocolate Cake: Tasted great, but the portion was unfortunately very small. For €7.50, I would have preferred a slightly larger piece. Conclusion: Overall, I was very satisfied with my order. I especially enjoyed trying vegan and vegetarian alternatives and discovering that it can taste really good even without meat. Thanks for the experience! Best regards, S-J

We stopped by spontaneously for coffee and cake on Monday, June 16, 2025. The snack package of cake and a hot drink was a good overall package at a fair price. The apple and cheesecake tasted like they were baked in a factory—and they probably were. The service was extremely friendly. In the evening, the trip was worth it for dinner. We had vegan burgers, a side salad, and one non-alcoholic cocktail and one alcoholic cocktail each. Everything tasted fine. The service was fast and friendly.

Hi, I went there with my daughter and ordered potatoes twice. My portion was quite small. I explained my problem to the waitress, and she was extremely friendly and even gave us a small compensation ❤️. Thanks to Marie at this point; she's a real asset to this restaurant. We went back to Hans im Glück for burgers after about five years. The service has definitely improved; friendly, fast, and attentive. The drinks are also delicious. I like the new menu, too. The burgers were the worst. They were much better back then! Dry, flavorless meat, hardly any salad, and lots of sauce. The sweet potato fries weren't tasty either. Too bad, we won't be back.

My friends and I wanted to have a nice evening in Regensburg city centre and decided to go to Hans im Glück. When we got there, however, we were told that we couldn't eat there because we weren't yet 18. The reason for this is that on Friday and Saturday after 5 p.m. you can only eat in the restaurant if you're of legal age. However, I couldn't find anything about this on the website, which made us feel a bit lied to. After we realized that we couldn't eat there, we moved on and went to the Araber and enjoyed ourselves there.

Delicious food, the menu looks very impressive. Slight glitch with one of the orders, but the extras that were ordered and never arrived were taken of the final bill. Stunning decor inside, and I absolutely adore the sink in the bathroom. 9.5/10, would happily come back
