We had a wonderful afternoon at Hans im Glück in Regensburg! The food was truly delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great seat on the second floor by the window, perfect for the beautiful weather. The food came quickly and was simply fantastic! The next day, we couldn't resist and went back again, this time to the outdoor seating area. The same positive experience again: friendly staff and delicious food! Whether in Hamburg, Chemnitz, or Regensburg – Hans im Glück is always worth a visit. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, the portions are very small... It's not value for money. It used to be better.

The avocado fries were drenched in some kind of sauce. It definitely wasn't garlic mayo.

After our last spontaneous lunch outside, I was pleasantly surprised. The entire menu has changed since the previous visit, and for the better. The selection of vegetarian and vegan options has easily doubled, and they now even offer gluten-free (!) buns (for an additional charge). Desserts are now also available in vegan versions. The new burgers were also delicious. While I still find the interior too cramped and noisy, the outside area was very pleasant. We'll be coming back here more often in the future.

As usual at Hans im Glück, the food is highly recommended. Burger and a bowl are really good, and the portions are generous. Unfortunately, the price is a bit high...just under €55 in total 💶 Due to the large number of tourists, the wait time is also longer. But it's OK.

The decor is very atmospheric, the service is very friendly, and the burgers are the best I've ever had. 🍔👌 There are plenty of options to choose from and delicious grated sauces. I was there yesterday and had the Smash Burger and garlic fries. The food was really good, the service was friendly and attentive, and the seating was really nice. It's a great place to go!

We had a table in a corner surrounded by a glass pane. The air was extremely stale there (not very pleasant on a hot day). Furthermore, the tables were very close together. The entire rest of the floor was empty, but we weren't allowed to move. Unfortunately, the burgers could have been larger. I was really looking forward to this visit today, but was unfortunately a bit disappointed by the ambiance. Although I have to say, the staff was friendly and the food came out quite quickly.

Considering that the food is mostly frozen and the drinks are premixed syrups, these insane prices are simply unjustified. Far too expensive for a fake left-wing, posh atmosphere. Besides, I can't in good conscience spend my money on a company that acts left-wing but supports right-wing groups.

Very nice atmosphere and very tasty food

The staff saved my birthday! I had actually booked a table for 12 people at another restaurant months in advance, but the restaurant was closed that weekend and didn't inform me of the change. So, I suddenly found myself in the old town with 12 tipsy girls, having to quickly get dinner for all of us in the middle of Regensburg during rush hour on a weekend. The staff were super accommodating and organized a cozy corner where we all had room. The food was amazing, I love the ambiance with the birch grove, and my birthday was saved, thank you! ❤️

Unfortunately, it was very dirty. The tables weren't clean. Cutlery and fries from the previous customer were still under the table. The stools were dirty... The food was okay, but not recommended for the price...I've had better experiences at other locations in the chain.

Very good, friendly and helpful service, a wide variety of sandwiches and salads. You can choose any type of bread for your sandwich, several types of fries, various sauces, and many desserts. Very good value. I managed to have lunch on a weekday at 4 pm, which is very rare in Bavaria and the surrounding area. Highly appreciated. The outdoor space is very comfortable and shaded. There are both umbrellas and trees. The chairs are very comfortable. The bathroom is very clean.

The burgers were delicious, as always. We'd especially like to highlight the friendliness, speed, and positive attitude of our server. She deserves 10 out of 10. To remain so calm and considerate when the place is packed = RESPECT!!!!

Today in Regensburg, I was served a bacon burger as a vegetarian, and unfortunately, I didn't realize it until after the first bite. After complaining, the service was even more unfriendly, which is absolutely unacceptable. Everyone can make mistakes, but this shouldn't happen. For me and my family, who used to frequent Hans im Glück, this was definitely the last time. That's a sure way to scare away your guests. The day is ruined for me, and my mood is at rock bottom.

Dear Hans im Glück team, I tried four different products from your range via Lieferando and would like to give you some feedback: Farbenspiel Burger: The combination of beetroot, egg, avocado cream, and the "Wellness Peti" wasn't quite my cup of tea. For my taste, the individual components didn't blend together very well, but that varies from person to person, of course. Glücksgriff (vegan chicken burger): The vegan chicken alternative was really surprisingly delicious! As a meat eater, I was pleasantly surprised by how good the flavor was. My only criticism: the toppings were a bit scant overall. There was lettuce, onions, sauce, and a very thin slice of tomato, but I would have preferred a bit more filling in relation to the bun. Falafresh Burger: A real highlight! Fresh, with a light oriental spice, and a very well-rounded flavor overall. I would order it again anytime. Chocolate Cake: Tasted great, but the portion was unfortunately very small. For €7.50, I would have preferred a slightly larger piece. Conclusion: Overall, I was very satisfied with my order. I especially enjoyed trying vegan and vegetarian alternatives and discovering that it can taste really good even without meat. Thanks for the experience! Best regards, S-J

We stopped by spontaneously for coffee and cake on Monday, June 16, 2025. The snack package of cake and a hot drink was a good overall package at a fair price. The apple and cheesecake tasted like they were baked in a factory—and they probably were. The service was extremely friendly. In the evening, the trip was worth it for dinner. We had vegan burgers, a side salad, and one non-alcoholic cocktail and one alcoholic cocktail each. Everything tasted fine. The service was fast and friendly.

Everything was top-notch – from the fast service (assuming you can order when someone sees someone new is there – no, if you wait outside, you won't be seated (the only drawback is that you go unnoticed). But the service was great, the food was quick and delicious -> all in all, still 5 stars.

Hi, I went there with my daughter and ordered potatoes twice. My portion was quite small. I explained my problem to the waitress, and she was extremely friendly and even gave us a small compensation ❤️. Thanks to Marie at this point; she's a real asset to this restaurant. Otherwise, everything was very good.

We went back to Hans im Glück for burgers after about five years. The service has definitely improved; friendly, fast, and attentive. The drinks are also delicious. I like the new menu, too. The burgers were the worst. They were much better back then! Dry, flavorless meat, hardly any salad, and lots of sauce. The sweet potato fries weren't tasty either. Too bad, we won't be back.

My friends and I wanted to have a nice evening in Regensburg city centre and decided to go to Hans im Glück. When we got there, however, we were told that we couldn't eat there because we weren't yet 18. The reason for this is that on Friday and Saturday after 5 p.m. you can only eat in the restaurant if you're of legal age. However, I couldn't find anything about this on the website, which made us feel a bit lied to. After we realized that we couldn't eat there, we moved on and went to the Araber and enjoyed ourselves there.

Delicious food, the menu looks very impressive. Slight glitch with one of the orders, but the extras that were ordered and never arrived were taken of the final bill. Stunning decor inside, and I absolutely adore the sink in the bathroom. 9.5/10, would happily come back

The location is really nice and the staff very friendly! I had a "Kraftprotz" burger, which was very tasty! However, the side dish was a bit of a letdown and not to my taste at all, and I couldn't finish it even if I tried it the best. Fries with garlic oil sound delicious and should have been, but I think the chef ran out of oil here, because I don't think that could have been normal. There were four people at the table, and everyone tried it and had the same opinion. The side portions could have been larger for the price. Overall, I can recommend the place 👍

We were here on Easter Sunday and made a reservation online, even though there was relatively little going on in the city. The wish expressed when making the reservation to have a quiet corner because of our dog (dachshund) was granted and a water bowl was brought. Service was super friendly and very fast! There is a large selection of burgers, especially for vegetarians!

Very nice, fast service and good atmosphere

Not recommended! Despite having a reservation we had to wait 15 minutes. After that it took another 30 minutes until we got the first drinks, and then it took another 15 minutes until all the drinks were there. Food came cold and the taste was simply 0 out of 10, there are better burgers and fries at McDonald or Burgerking, the price would have been lower and it would have been quicker!!! But the worst thing of all is that the shop smells so much like a chip shop, it's like you're standing at the deep fryer yourself! If you want to go to bars or a club in the city afterwards or have something planned in general, you have to live with the risk of smelling like an employee from the kitchen. Our request to ventilate was rejected and not taken seriously. All in all I won't go there again, there are simply better alternatives.

Definitely not recommended -Waited 15 minutes for a reserved table -It's extremely warm and stuffy on the upper floor, the waiter refuses to open the window, and afterward, you smell like you're working in the kitchen -Of seven drinks, six arrived about 10 minutes after ordering, and the seventh another 15 minutes later -Extremely inattentive staff -Burgers are frozen with soggy lettuce and a tomato slice that was at most 2mm thick All in all, the worst burger restaurant within a 50-kilometer radius. Avoid at all costs - In retrospect, it would have been better to simply not eat anything.

I tasted the frozen meat straight away and then politely let the food go back. The waitress came out 5 minutes later and said that the boss would still charge for the food. It's easy to scare away customers. Difficult to find good management. Greetings to the boss. It's unbelievable what people are used to eating now.

The food and service are great, but you feel like you're in a club - the music is so loud that you can hardly understand yourself. When I asked the waitress, she said the volume was set by the franchise.

One of the few burger joints. We liked it so much that we looked for the equivalent on our way back to Munich. Fantastic and delicious burgers in a beautifully designed space.

Burger very good, service was friendly and quick. Unfortunately, the burgers and side dishes are a little too small, so you won't get full. The caps of the sauces that were on the table were also dirty.

Racist treatment by the existing chef, especially the order taking group

I've been to this restaurant 3 times, it's very tasty. But there is a problem with the staff. The manager of this restaurant, a woman (at least she behaved like the manager and manager), did not allow me to sit on the first floor, citing the lack of waiters... (I don't know what the problem was of a waiter is to go upstairs) and told me to sit on the ground floor. She told me to wait until she ALLOWED me to sit down and to stand at the bar and wait. I would like to point out that many tables were free. She just likes to feel like a ruler. She was rude. I didn't tolerate this and left the place and saw that the lights were on on the first floor and people were sitting at some tables by the window. It was very frustrating, I was very hungry and such an unkind attitude made me cry. Very tasty burgers, my favorite with avocado. It's a pity that you don't want to come back to such good places after such treatment :(((

Went to the restaurant on Epiphany around 9:30 p.m. To my surprise it was very empty, which was good for us as we were served very quickly and the food came very quickly. The “thirst quenchers” were a change and very tasty! The avocado fries were also a change from the normal fries or sweet potatoes...absolutely recommended! Our burgers were just as delicious and there was nothing to complain about! Personally, I expected something different from the chocolate cake, it was just a cake with vanilla ice cream. Nothing big. But we came for the burgers and they were delicious!

Employees are treated really badly by their bosses. Not recommended!
