The food is great, there is a lot to choose from and the staff are very friendly.

We arrived as a group of 5 and were seated directly in the most uncomfortable seats. After asking for another seat, the waitress got excited and said “yes, if necessary”. Order was recorded incorrectly. The table was not cleaned beforehand and no one was served. The taste was okay, but I wouldn't eat it again now. The sweet potatoes were burnt, so I didn't eat them and I was cheekily asked if I wanted them to take away

Amazing service and amazing staff!

Went there for dinner today. We got a place on the 1st floor without a reservation, the background noise here was very loud (from the kitchen and guests) and it was difficult to have a normal conversation at the table. Order was taken quickly. 👌🏼 However, then the food came...All the fries were only lukewarm and my BBQ burger with vegetable patti was also just lukewarm at the first bite. In the middle the patti was still ice cold or frozen. We reported this to the waitress who responded immediately. They offered that we could choose another drink - I then explained to them that I didn't want to drink any more and asked them to cancel a drink from the order. Here it was explained to me that this was not possible. (I work in the catering industry myself and this is possible in the event of complaints) we then got a special offer on the house... but that doesn't compensate for the price-performance ratio... All in all a very disappointing visit.

Unfortunately, a very bad experience that I would like to explain: Starting with the tables: When we came at 5:30 p.m. almost all the tables were dirty with dishes, we were told we could sit down somewhere. I made a reservation online for 5:30 p.m. Sometime after 10 minutes the lady came and brought us the cards. I had decided on the evening offer of burger + cocktail + fries (which is even printed on the menu), and we were told: That's only available from 6 p.m.... well, I said I'd wait until then. The waitress just said: "They're doing that up there, there's nothing I can do about it". Then came the restrictions on the offer (which aren't visible on the menu or anywhere else) and I almost didn't feel like ordering anything anymore. The management should revise such offers, for us it felt like a lure offer that was impossible to get... About the food: There were 4 of us and the waitress was visibly overwhelmed taking our orders as requested. The “order aria” lasted another 10 minutes. I would like to emphasize that we were still the only four people in the restaurant. I don't want to know what it's like when the store is full... The quality of the food left a lot to be desired. From missing dips to cold meat patties, everything was there. In my opinion, the Cesar salad was simply a rip-off: a few light brown leaves of lettuce with almost no dressing or croutons and a touch of parmesan. Demanding 8 euros for this is cheeky! The service staff wasn't seen again for the next 1 1/2 hours and we only got dessert (Metro frozen brownie...) and drinks when we called. All in all, I think it's a shame that, especially in Ansbach, where you can certainly get regular guests with good food, the service is non-existent and the quality of the food is little or hardly there. We paid just under 140 euros for 4 people. We won't come back again.

We sit with empty drinks, with 5 tables still occupied, as no questions are asked or the plates are cleared away.

I recommend this place , I never had better burgers before . Service staff to be praised, despite the full house remained friendly and relaxed.

I love Rufts! It is the best place in town for a burger and the service makes it worth the visit every-time busy or not. Sometimes the wait is a little long but it is at no fault of the employee as there is usually only one waiter working. It is very nice and reassuring to be able to go inside a restaurant and know you are going to receive amazing food and carvical Muerall 5 Stare

This is my 4th time coming to ruff’s burger. Kiki is so pleasant and helpful everytime I come and I love how welcoming she is since this is my first time living in Germany!

Ruffs is honestly the best burger joint in Ansbach. The atmosphere of the restaurant is unmatched in comparison to any other burger places. The ability to sit inside, or outside is very comforting. Also the staff are extremely cooperative, easy, and kind. Their positive demeanor really makes the difference and improves your visit. Would always recommend!!

Very nice service. I ordered on the phone and then picked it up. Everything went very quickly. I will definitely eat here again. The burger was also great, the meat was very good, I had the Tyrolean burger with sweet potato fries.

When we were looking for a good burger shop in Ansbach, we became aware of Ruff's Burgers because of the consistently good reviews. So we went to said store on a Saturday without a reservation. Luckily, the friendly waitress at reception was able to offer us the last free table on the 1st floor. Unfortunately it was really loud there due to a mixture of cuisine, music and conversations. The table was also pretty dirty and hadn't been cleared, but the waitress quickly cleaned it up. After a while we each ordered 1 burger, sweet potato fries and the house lemonade. Unfortunately, the first disappointment came with the drinks. The wild berry-lime lemonade tasted far too sour and seemed like a ready-made lemonade that had been brightened up with a slice of lime. The burgers were then delivered quite quickly. However, there was no cutlery at our table, so we had to eat by hand. In terms of taste, it wasn't anything special and is rather below average compared to burger shops in other cities. With the Blau Schimmel burger we ordered, the taste of the Blau Schimmel cheese was rather disturbing and was not a pleasant combination. The patties were a little too cooked, but that wasn't necessarily a problem. In addition, the extra request that the tomatoes should be left out was accepted by the waitress, but ultimately not implemented. In contrast, the sweet potato fries were convincing from start to finish. They came to the table warm and crispy and the two dips that were included also tasted very good and appropriate. The store is very reasonably priced. All in all, you can definitely pay a visit to Ruff’s Burgers. However, it is not an insider tip with a special burger experience, rather the average burger chain experience with a reasonable price-performance ratio. If you want to visit the store, you should definitely make a reservation in advance.

The food is really incredibly good, across the board. Super tasty burgers with fries and sauces. Large selection and you can also make individual requests, which are implemented very well. It's nice to sit outside and also inside. Can only be recommended for a visit! ☺️👍🏼

We had an avocado burger and a cheeseburger. Both were very tasty. We also had sweet potato fries with two different dips. The service was friendly, as was the food, which was very convincing.

The three of us were at Ruff's Burger for lunch on September 11th. Very friendly service. There was a lot going on during our visit. The castle itself was great. 5STARS. From what I saw, there was only one woman at the grill/kitchen. Respect.

Disaster! Food was okay BUT: Small portion and very overpriced. And service was pretty incompetent… Definitely won't go there again

Great experience, I highly recommend this place! Food was amazing, service was excellent, we were able to communicate with the staff perfectly well in English language. I forgot to take the bill with me. After few days when i asked to retrieve a copy of it, the staff was very helpful and shared it with me. This shows that they really care for their customers. Would defo go again next time I visit Ansbach :)

I evaluate price/performance with words. 6 burgers (65€), 6 drinks (30€) and 2 x fries (10€). Total 105€ (prices rounded by me). The fact that the fries cost €5, the wheat costs €4.90...what can you say. You just have to want to afford it, so I'm not complaining, I'm just describing it. Since I come from the country, I'm used to different prices. The burger and fries tasted very good, the fries were exceptional. The meat of the burgers is top notch, not your usual frozen mass-produced product. Maybe the owner can comment on this. And you can sit well inside and outside. Maybe some cushions for the hard outdoor chairs? Keep it up.

A very nice blonde woman brought me my food and sat me down. I find it hard to talk to people, but since she was so nice it was much easier than usual. The bacon cheese fries and the cheeseburger are great

Supposedly open until 10 p.m., but at 9:15 p.m. the tables felt like they were folded up, everything was cleared away and there was nothing left to eat... Joke something like that.,. Never again..,

Insanely good and fresh food, nice conditions and a great experience. Anyone who hasn't been there yet has missed something and should catch up quickly.

We went with 4 adults and 3 children. One of the waiters said that the tables we saw were empty and that we could sit at the corner table behind the stairs. We went to the table and another waiter brought menus to all of us. While we were starting to place our orders, the waiter who showed us the table came and said that they could only take drink orders and that they could take food orders later due to the crowd (!) (The waitress who started taking orders was also surprised). Anyway, okay, we said. After waiting for about 10 minutes, we asked the first waiter how long we would wait. At least 45 minutes, he said 😯 We thought it was unnecessary to wait for about 1 hour to order 7 hamburgers in a place where many tables were empty, so we left the place 🤔 We came from Turkey as guests and the fact that they did not even apologize when we left shows that this place was opened only for money😕 Free Even if they make the best hamburger in the world, I'm sure I'll never go there again. If we didn't eat the burgers of this place, we probably wouldn't die of hunger in Germany 😏

Great burger! Very spicy, crispy fries. Healthy portion size and prices easy to digest. The inside is nicer than the outside. When we were there the staff was overwhelmed. No broken leg. It was just high frequency.

There are excellent burgers and delicious fries. The ambience is stylish. The upper floor scores with the open kitchen, the outside seating is in the middle of the pedestrian zone, good for people watching and being seen, bad when it comes to privacy.

I've been to Ruff's in Ansbach about 8 times now and I have to say, every visit has completely met my expectations. The waitresses were friendly, the food and drinks always came relatively quickly and we don't even need to talk about the taste. I don't usually say lightly that I have a favorite restaurant, but when I want a fantastic burger at a good price there's only one place for me and it's McDonald's. No, just kidding, it's Ruff's. Good price, good food, very versatile burgers and not just the standard burgers but also burgers with avocado and even one with truffle which is highly recommended. Homemade lemonade that you could get addicted to and once you've eaten the dessert you'll be sad every time you're full from the main course.

The burgers were very tasty (although not very visually appealing, see picture), but the prices are a disgrace for the small portion, and the small Caesar salad is also way too expensive!

We wanted to go to Ruffs for our birthday yesterday. Despite the rain, we sat outside under the awning as the tables and chairs were still set up. But no one came to serve us. After about 20 minutes I went in and asked. The only answer was a stroppy “no, not outside”. We couldn't go in because of our dog. Why isn't this indicated when you're not being served outside? All the chairs etc. were positioned normally and the waitress must have seen us. Nevertheless, you don't bother and give a quick notice. Very unfortunate.

Very tasty there. The burgers were great. Half of our family has to eat gluten-free because of celiac disease. It wasn't a problem at all. The service was very knowledgeable and very attentive and friendly. It was also great for our children. There was a children's menu to color in and great children's meals. We'd love to come back. By the way, the interior is really cool, with all sorts of sports equipment as decoration.

Der Caesar Salat für 7,50€ ist ein schlechter Witz. Etwas Eisberg Salat mit Fertigsauce in einer kleinen Pappschachtel. Überhaupt: Einweggeschirr in einem normalen nicht-to-go Restaurant ist ein no-go! Ketchup & Majo zu den Pommes kommen in separaten Einweg-Plastikschüsselchen. Ich bin entsetzt, und das im Jahr 2024! Das einzig positive war die nette Bedienung!

I gave the restaurant two stars in no particular category 2 years ago. We had a waiter who wasn't very friendly and I didn't think the food was worth the price. Yes, I could have written why. Since I allegedly violated personal rights by only giving 2 stars, here is a detailed text. For exactly this reason, there are only 2 stars. And the old 2 star rating was deleted as requested. Addendum: I just read through here. I'm probably not alone in my opinion and the reviews are from the last few months. People had exactly the same complaints as me.

Delicious Definitely worth a visit

I was only told when I paid that there was a lunch menu, which cost almost half as much. Bad luck, I could have read it on the board in front of the entrance. The fries are rarely baked all the way through.

This place was a last-minute choice. We loved everything we ordered, and the brownies with ice cream were the best ! And their wings were pretty good 👍

Tegernsee light beer on tap, plus a delicious burger with fries, what more could you want. There are delicious burgers in a variety of variations. If you can't find anything on the menu, you can also choose the ingredients yourself. The ingredients are fresh and the sauces are delicious and seem homemade. Unfortunately the service was a bit slow. One more person would definitely be appropriate in a full shop.

It's been a long time since I've had such a juicy burger. Great variety of burgers that can also be “customized” individually. However, for the very good quality it is also a proud price. Partly incomprehensible. Drinks take a while because the waitress is often alone next to the chef. Otherwise everything was great.

LEFT HUNGRY AFTER 25 MINUTES!! Next time I'd rather go again ROLLY'S in REICHELSDORF! We were in town and spontaneously decided to eat here. Relatively little going on (March 6th around 4:30 p.m.), 2-3 tables occupied so we wouldn't have to wait long for our late lunch... Unfortunately we were too early to be happy, we got the tickets shortly after taking our seats, but then suddenly it happened no one there anymore 😕 With the statement "I'll be with you in a moment" one of them marched outside the door to spend a good 20 minutes chatting and smoking with a female acquaintance, which we could clearly see from our place right by the window. The other one who was standing behind the counter at the beginning had also disappeared 🤷🏼‍♀️ After a stay of a good 25 minutes in which we couldn't even order the drinks, we left hungry 😑😒 Next time we feel like a burger we'll go back ROLLY'S in REICHELSDORF Longer way, but unbeatably good and the service is simply on point!!

We met up with friends and their kids for lunch. The waitress greeted us in a friendly manner and took us to the reserved table. Even though it was already a bit busy at lunchtime, she took the time to introduce us as "first-time visitors" to the highlights of the week and gave the kids their own menu to color in - really great service here that the minis are also thought of! After we got the drinks - tip bye the way, tried the homemade lemon/ginger lemonade!, the waitress took our order and gave us combinations with the sauces - listen to the lady! The sauces rounded everything out along with the burger and fries. Anyone who goes out to eat with kids knows that the little ones are always very hungry ;) Here too, the service thought of this and looked after the little ones first and then us older ones. Price/performance is really good. We'd love to come by again.

It's cool to wait 45 minutes for a drink, but when the burger finally comes after 1.5 hours, you can hardly believe your eyes anymore o_O

Bad service unfortunately, food came very late after what felt like an hour my burger was unfortunately cold. In addition, false citizens were brought to us at the beginning A friend got it after me and I had to eat alone! Not even an apology was heard. Food tasted very tasty but service needs improvement!

My family and I have been there several times now and it has always been delicious. The food is tasty, the service is nice and you always get a seat without having to make a reservation. It couldn't be better. And the dips (e.g. with fries) that are available there etc. are the best dips I have had in any restaurant so far. (Especially BBQ and Sweet Honey Mustard Dip. But they are all delicious.). Even with special requests (we always want well done. I have no idea how others can eat this disgusting, half-cooked stuff..), or extra bacon, etc. everything has always gone smoothly. Just paying with a debit card is sometimes stressful because not all cards always work with their devices. The prices are a bit expensive, but if everything is top, you're happy to pay. You don't eat there every day. The small salads could perhaps. be a little more, or a little cheaper for the same size, then you would order them more often. Because salad always works

We have often driven from Nuremberg to Ruffs in Ansbach because it is really our favorite burger shop! The burgers and fries are simply amazing, great and attentive service! Always happy to come back!

Recently visited Ansbach from Mannheim .had to visit...so thank you for getting me a table ...on the day... Excellent! The Higgly Burger and the sweet potato ypomnes taste very good. The patties are juicy, the bacon is crispy, the onions are well seasoned, the sauces taste great and the buns are soft, don't get soggy and hold together. . I would order here again at any time. Top recommendation!!!
