The food was okay, but too expensive for what you get, especially the salad. A big plus is that they have gluten-free burger buns (but I don't know if they're suitable for people with celiac disease).

I hate writing reviews, but I have no other choice here. I ordered takeout for the second time today. The first time, they forgot the fries, which can happen. Today it was the same story: fries and a sauce I ordered were missing, and a burger was included in the order that I hadn't ordered. Mistakes happen, but not with two out of two orders. I won't be ordering food from here again.

We visited Ruffs in mid-October with a large group (over 20 people). We were asked to pre-order our burgers so they could roughly estimate the quantity. However, changes to the order were easily accommodated on-site. The burgers tasted great, and I especially loved the Philly-style fries. The portions could have been a bit larger for my taste. I also found the cocktails extremely tasty, and they were very accommodating with special requests (e.g., less sugar). I'd gladly come again!

We held our regular get-together there in October 2025. We were a group of about 25 people. As is so often the case, it's hard to write more when something goes wrong. Everything was great here. The service was very organized and always available for drink orders, which were promptly fulfilled. The food was very well received and delivered quickly and at roughly the same time, even for the number of people. The burgers are delicious! I have nothing negative to report about the visit; I'd gladly come again :) Many thanks to the entire team for a wonderful evening.

Better go to the wooden spoon instead. We waited outside for about 10 minutes until someone came, but no one ever came. Okay, we went inside and were served quickly. Yeah, okay, it's a new waitress, so no problem. Then it started. We waited a long time for the children's menu, which was then given to us by our neighbor. The new waitress preferred to look at her phone more often than serve us; other guests had already gone ahead to order. The table was also dirty and sticky. We ordered and specifically asked for the crispy burger. We misread the menu and thought it was a burger, but it was just a schnitzel cut up into small pieces. Despite repeating it, it simply wasn't mentioned as a burger. It's a shame, really. We'll never be back, and for an order costing over 70 euros, you expect more... the honey mustang sauce is just mustard with a very slight honey flavor. It tastes good, but one burger with a couple of fries and standard sauces, and you're out 20 euros for one person. After a chat with a very friendly employee, this was a great gesture. Will get a second chance and possibly rewrite the rating.

Simply wow... We went there yesterday for all-you-can-eat spare ribs. The waitress was super friendly and did a great job. She made sure the ribs were always served at the right time and provided excellent drink service. With a laugh, she now knows, as a Hessian girl, what "ripple" is here in Franconia. A huge compliment, we felt very comfortable. The ripples were great, really tender and very deliciously marinated. My boyfriend even got a "loser box" at the end, but at least nothing had to be thrown away. My wife's crispy chicken burger was delicious, and the Belgian fries (perhaps more like Belgian fries) were crispy and hot. We haven't been to Ruff:s in a long time, even though we live right next door. After last night, we'll probably be coming back more often. Thank you for a great evening.

I've never eaten such bad spare ribs. They were cooked on a slab and the taste was terrible! They were full of grit and fat. And let's not even get started on the wait!

We reserved a table and had free choice of where we wanted to sit. The ambiance was harmonious and romantic for the late evening. The food was excellent, as were the drinks. Service was a bit slow, but it was also the first day for some of the employees, so they don't take it too seriously. Unfortunately, there were no alternatives for intolerances like garlic or lactose. But after asking if we could get something else, we were offered something else. The only major issue was the women's restroom. No paper, floor and walls dirty. I don't even want to start with the doorknob. Maybe I'll check it out now and then. There's a mop cart next to the restroom door. I quickly wiped it down and sprayed disinfectant on it, and put paper towels out. Then going to the restroom there was more pleasant. Conclusion: We'd be happy to come back. :)

Guys! This is the place to go if you want a burger in Ansbach. The meat is expertly cooked and juicy. The selection of burgers is really well thought out. Everything is SUPER delicious. The service was also very friendly and prompt. The homemade lemonades are highly recommended.

A typical, atmospheric American-style burger joint. There are a few other items on the menu, but I prefer the burger. Of course, as is typical in Bavaria, there's good beer. I recommend it.

Great place! We've eaten here several times. The lunch menu – burgers, fries, lemonade – was simply top-notch ☺️ We had a young waiter who warned us that it might take a little longer because a large order was coming up ahead of us. We decided to wait, and it was worth it ☺️ and we were served quicker than expected. Great communication 👍🏼 Oh, and most importantly: It was delicious. The crispy chicken burger wasn't pressed meat like you'd find elsewhere. It was juicy, and even special requests were accommodated. The fries are top-notch, and there's an incredibly good selection of sauces, so there's something for everyone ☺️

I came here for lunch with a larger group after an appointment. The prices for the lunch menu are absolutely reasonable. The sodas are delicious, as are the burgers and sauces. The portions are generously sized. The service made an effort to ensure we made it to our connecting appointment on time, and what can I say: it was spot on. Thanks for the friendly service. I'll definitely be back.

We had reserved a table, but when we arrived, it was occupied. We were sent away and told to come back in half an hour. We ended up getting the last table in the corner. We waited an hour and a half for our two burgers, and they were wrong, way too small, and quite expensive. Service was chaotic and seemed unorganized at all. The staff were nice.

The food was not bad but we had to wait 40 minutes and the toilets are placed in such a way that it is not hygienically correct with the kitchen

So, we went here on Saturday for our first burger. From the very beginning, we had a great rapport with Kiki, the waitress. We joked around, and she kept asking if everything was okay. The BBQ burger was very good, and the sweet potatoes were sensational. We're absolutely thrilled and will be back when we're in Ansbach.

I must say when my colleague told me there was a great burger joint in Ansbach he did not lie. This smash burger was incredible. I tried the classic smash and the fries were perfectly cooked. The bun was also nice and toasted and soft. The great thing is they also add ice to the drinks. You don't see that too often in Germany

The burgers here are delicious, the meat is fresh and grilled to perfection. My favorite dish is the onion rings – super crispy and simply amazing with the BBQ sauce! 😋 You might have to wait a bit because the place gets busy, but the food is definitely worth it. My husband got the cheese burger and I got the truffle burger, and we split fries! Everything was great - they had a menu in English. We sat outside with plenty of shade and they brought our pups water! The quality for the price is great! Delicious and flavorful burgers, cooked well, and tons of different options. Plus the location can’t be beat! We will be coming again!

The selection of vegan burgers is very small; an organic meat option would be a bit more sustainable. I think the surcharge for vegetarian options is unreasonable, especially in terms of sustainability. The food was delicious, though. It's also a shame that there was only one server at lunchtime. But despite the hustle and bustle, she was always friendly. The restrooms could be cleaner.

Visited twice in the past week and really enjoyed the burgers and BBQ each time. The Giggly Burger (with jalapeño) had great flavor, and garlic fries really hit the spot. On my second visit, I experienced the BBQ plate and loved every bit of it (it's more food than you think). The service was extremely friendly and accommodating, but I could tell they could use more help. I think the only thing that needs improving is the speed of getting drinks to the table -- I would not mind a small wait for food if I have something to sip on. Overall, still a five star experience, and I will surely return again!

Staff roll their cigarettes at the bar and leave them in the corner of their mouths while pouring beer at the same time. Fries were cold and there was a hair in the fries, not recommended. Waitress didn't want to refund these fries either. Waitress was also very incompetent. It was also the last time we went to eat here.

Delicious food, pleasant atmosphere - with little room for improvement We really enjoy visiting this burger joint. The food is consistently delicious and freshly prepared. Even without a reservation, we have always been able to get a seat spontaneously, which is a real plus, especially during peak times. However, two things could be improved: The prices for younger guests could be made a little more attractive - a special children's offer would be nice. And the seating could be a little more comfortable and well thought out, especially if you want to sit for longer. Nevertheless, it's a regular stop for us when we're in the mood for good burgers. Overall, absolutely recommended!

I absolutely love the food here but they always forget something when I order food to go. I just picked up my food and it was a burger and fries and they forgot the fries and there was no parking to go back in to say something. They always forget something when I order but it’s usually just sauce so it’s not a big deal but when you just order a burger and fries you’d think they’d be able to remember just those things. And they stable the bag shut so you can’t really check inside the restaurant.

Ambience bomb! The staff are very friendly and the service is exactly as you would expect. We don't even need to talk about the food, it's super delicious! But the homemade lemonade tops everything! Best soda I've ever had here in Germany! I'll definitely be back!

Delicious every time! The burgers may be a little smaller than elsewhere, but that's not a bad thing.

Price performance unfortunately not good The fries were terribly fatty. I'm afraid the fat wasn't hot enough. And the burger price-performance ratio is unfortunately not good either. We both had bloating and stomach pain after eating.

There are certainly better burger restaurants. But ok for our needs.

Ordered the BBQ burger with fries and a Paulaner draft and it was fantastic! Service can be a little slow due to one person doing all the sitting, ordering and delivering of food and drinks. But it’s worth the wait! Great food!

We were there on a Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m. and ordered burgers with side dishes. The food was very tasty and we would definitely come back again. What contributes to the poor service rating is that when we specifically asked about the Chipotle Burger, we were assured several times that it did not contain pork (because a colleague doesn't eat any). The waitress assured us of this when ordering and again when serving the burgers. While eating, when we noticed the chorizo, we called the service back to the table and they said it still wasn't pork - which it was. Visibly overwhelmed and unpleasantly affected, the waitress disappeared to clarify things with a colleague. Debt relief came only slowly, although we remained very calm. My companion was then prepared a new burger with a side dish on the house - we found that very sincere and fair, I have to say. However, I'm sticking with one star for the service because something like that shouldn't happen under any circumstances. This was “just” a matter of preference, but next time someone will be allergic to ingredients. Employees should be made aware of this issue, that no assurances should be made due to uncertainty and that they should rather ask the kitchen one more question if they don't know any better. Unfortunately, this has now happened a second time among my own circle of friends. That makes it even harder to believe whether this will be taken seriously - but I hope so and we'll try again. This review does not violate any personal rights, so I hope RuffsBurger refrains from contesting reviews via Google. (Like in the past for this supposed reason)

I was looking for something spontaneously, served very quickly and was full until the evening

Went there for the first time yesterday. Very, very tasty burgers as well as fries and the dessert (cheescake) also tasted really good. Also nice service and nice ambience We will come again

Burgers in Ansbach are always good

We were guests last night and were unfortunately very disappointed. Despite the nice service and nice ambience on the ground floor, we probably won't be coming back. Unfortunately the pretty looking food was cold. Some of the food at the next tables was also cold and the waitress couldn't stop apologizing. There was somehow no blue cheese flavor to be found in the blue cheese cream burger, no raspberry in the raspberry lemonade (not even as juice or flavor) and only three alibi berries in the wild berry lemonade. Well, a bad day can happen anywhere, no reason for a bad review. But then I go to the toilet upstairs. You walk right past the open kitchen. The kitchen is so open that I could have reached straight into the chip bowl or thrown something without the chef noticing, because when grilling he has his back to the room. There is no separation from the guest. When I got to the toilet, a disgusting smell hit my nose and my eyes wandered to the slippery and dirty floor. When I got to the toilet, I found a toilet seat that was so yellowed and dirty that I didn't even want to sit down. The whole room is extremely run down. Washing your hands was an experience in itself. I wondered what that splashing sound was like when you turned on the tap. Well, the siphon was off and the wastewater splashed happily out of the sink into an old ketchup bucket. Anyone who tolerates such unhygienic conditions in their restaurant (and apparently has been doing so for a long time, as you can get a new toilet seat for less than 30 euros) is also tolerating completely different things. It was just disgusting and had nothing to do with a bad day.

First: I sat at a discarded workbench, very stylish. There was probably the back exit and a few stacked chairs next door, but it wasn't reserved, so it was okay. The waitress's service was super friendly, even though she was busy. The food and drinks came pretty quickly. The vegan burger was excellent and the fries with the two sauces were very tasty. The non-alcoholic wheat is a bit high in price, but it's bearable. The food was also reasonably priced. Unfortunately, I didn't take a photo because I was concentrating on the food. I think, even though I don't go to Ansbach often, that I can make up for it with a repeat visit. Gladly again, keep it up and don't let up! I'm thrilled.

Delicious burger with wonderful onions in an outstanding sauce. I recommend. The bun is delicate and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. A perfectly matched flavor composition. Plus tasty lemonade. It's really worth visiting here - especially since it is located on an atmospheric promenade.

The ambience is very nice and harmonious, only the background noise in the room was quite unpleasant, even though only 4 tables were occupied. The staff was very friendly and on the ball. The toilets were okay... But could be cleaner. In my opinion the drink prices are a bit too high, but still okay. The food came quickly and especially the fries were incredibly tasty!!! But the burgers were also really good! All in all, I would definitely eat here again and recommend it! The opening times are also great! I hope my review was helpful.
