The chicken burger was crispy and delicious, and the beef burger was also delicious, but the fries were cold. You deserve 4 stars. For your information, I rarely rate a place with more than 4 stars. It's worth a try if you're in Munich.

Honestly, I liked the place when I was there. The food is delicious. On the downside, I got food poisoning. Why am I so sure it was because of their food? Because it was a late breakfast, and I hadn't eaten anything before or after. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and French fries - no issues with the Caesar, the chicken was well-done, juicy, maybe something with the sauce. The fries were very oily, and I guess it was either that or the truffle sauce. I don't know, I can only guess. My day was ruined, it was just unpleasant I have mixed feelings, because the salad was really tasty, and the prices were minimal, and the atmosphere and service were pretty good. I hope no one will have to deal with this in the future.

The burger bun is very soft and the meat is very tasty. It is among the best hamburgers I have ever eaten. The sweet potato fries were great. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was obvious from the wall painting on the building that it was located that it would be high quality :)

We just went out for burgers. Positive: The sweet potato fries were really great, especially with the truffle mayo. The server was also very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the burgers were extremely cold, as if they had come straight from the refrigerator. We told the server, who immediately offered us a new burger – we thought that was very fair, but we declined because the old one would have ended up in the trash otherwise. The burger tasted good. What really bothered us, however, was that the burger cook yelled at us in a very rude tone that she couldn't make the burgers any better. In our opinion, that's completely unacceptable and unfortunately spoiled the overall impression. One other thing worth noting: It was interesting that the server mentioned in the kitchen that the burgers were indeed cold – apparently, this problem had occurred more often today.

There are many flavors of burgers to choose from, and the lunch set meal is a good deal with burgers, fries and drinks.

Very good food but they only bring a glass of water for free and not for everyone. I don't understand why in this country that has so much water, you need to sell land to quench your thirst

Just wow! I had a classic smash burger and it was extremely delicious. Also fries and lemonade was fairly good. A total recommended. Quick service and fair prices.

They made me pay double and even though I kindly asked for a refund of one of the two payments they told me that it would be automatic or to send an email if it didn't arrive.. it never arrived I sent an email and called they told me they would make me a PayPal but this never arrived either. You don't behave like that

The burger is very delicious. I tried the hot spicy chicken and the crispy spicy chicken. I liked it the most, especially with the smashed potatoes. It tasted delicious. *I didn't like the fries. I felt they weren't fresh and were tough.

The best cocktail bar in town. I happened upon this hidden gem with friends. The waitress politely said hello every time she brought the basil smash or the apricot schnapps to our table. Best burgers (smashed or not) fries (regular and sweet) & onion rings EVER!! In our 15 day stay we visited Ruff’s 3 times. 😃 The evening special is great. The staff is always super fun and friendly. Our family highly recommends Ruff’s, especially this location.

Got turned away at 9:30 PM when closing time that day was at 10. (It wasn’t even dark btw :) ) Not like having some burgers would take more than 30 mins.

Overpriced dog food in burger shape

The burger was good but I can't say it was very good. The bun was a little stale. The Belgian style fries were delicious, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. When I asked the waiter if they had hot sauce, he said yes but then they said they didn't. The fact that there were all kinds of sauces but not the most important one for me was a bit disappointing. The beers were good.

The burgers are delicious, but the wait time to receive the order is very long (I waited almost an hour) and the fries were already cold. It's better to look for other alternatives; it wastes too much time.

The food was absolutely amazing, the cheese burger was super flavorful and the raspberry lemonade was very refreshing. My only complaint is that our order took an unusually long time to arrive, I don’t know if it was a particularly busy day or if they were short-staffed, but the wait felt like forever.

The prices are very reasonable if you choose the lunch menu, which is available until 5 p.m. After that, there's the evening menu, which is more expensive. The food and drinks were great and the waitresses were all super friendly and helpful at this location. I came to Munich 6 months ago on business and loved their burgers then. I could not wait to come back, and sure enough, the food is still fantastic. As an American I thought we did burgers pretty well. Turns out we don’t. Ruff’s burgers and fries are better than most restaurant level burgers back in the states. Highly recommend.

I had the food delivered. I honestly don't know if you can even call what I got food anymore. The roll was soggy, the "salad" was a carelessly slapped-on piece of stalk, and the whole thing arrived ice cold—as if it had never been anywhere near a grill.

On May 7, 2025 at 5 p.m. I went to this restaurant after a day of sightseeing in Munich and it was the best decision I made, delicious burgers and excellent, friendly and very professional service.

I really enjoyed the service and the wonderful tailgate that's in the decor. Unfortunately, the burger was bitter with old butter and the potatoes were overcooked. But the server was very accommodating, and I would give this place another chance. The lemonade there was good, as were the refreshments.

I’ve visited Ruff Burger twice, and both times the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great for hanging out. It's located right in the center of downtown, so it’s easy to get to. Since it's a chain, opinions may vary, but personally, I found the sauce a bit bland — it had that pre-made feel, without any unique mix of flavors. Of course, this might depend on what you order.

Honestly one of the best burger shops in Munich – Ruff’s in Glockenbach impresses across the board Ruff’s Burger in Glockenbach is a hit every time for me. The burgers are juicy, perfectly grilled and creatively put together - you can just taste the quality here. The buns are also great, not too soft, not too firm – just to the point. Particularly positive: The service is friendly, attentive and authentic - you really feel welcome. The atmosphere is relaxed, urban, fits the area perfectly and invites you to relax and linger. The fries (especially the sweet potato version) and homemade dips round the whole thing off perfectly. For me it's the ideal place for honest comfort food in a prime location. Unreserved recommendation – everything fits here!

I think it is a very good restaurant. First of all, all the staff smile to the guests, and the ordering staff is more friendly and guides the ordering (after all, besides not understanding German for the first time, I am not sure how to order the set meal), I ordered a set meal that suits me very well. The burger meat is very fragrant. The service staff will also smile or ask if they like the meal. The whole environment is very comfortable and relaxing. If you are late, you can have a cocktail. The food is delicious. The problem is that they do not change the gloves. There are blond men who work in the branch. He is never clean. Amazing burger. As an American I can say this was one of the best smash burgers I have ever had. The fries were nice and crispy and well salted. Servers spoke great English and accommodated changes to the menu items. Hard to say anything negative about this place.

Ordered here. Something's wrong here. Fries ordered were different fries than those sold in the store. Burgers were also packaged differently and were really disgusting. I always liked it in the store. Does the delivery service come from a second kitchen? Never order it was really disgusting and for 40€ for 2 burgers it was also a rip-off because of the quality that should have been shown to the health department. As I said, the burgers, fries and packaging are all different on site.

Worst service I had in Munich! Burgers are good, but you can’t enjoy them when you have to wait 15 mins to get your order and wait another 40 mins for them to get done. (I’m pretty sure the waitress forgot them, it wasn’t that full and people that came after us got their food before us.) And guess what happens when you want to pay? You wait, but this time they don’t come at all, but you can try threatening that you will leave that works well. I just don’t understand why it is necessary 😃 If you wanna try the food just order for home not worth spoiling your mood. Ps. I was a regular before, but would be more than happy to find another burger place after this terrible experience.

We had reserved a table for 8 p.m. and were 15 minutes early. Since it was very busy and hectic inside, we waited outside. Two groups of two people who came after us and were waiting inside still received attention before us. The first group after us even got a table before us, and only after I went back in and pointed out that we were waiting outside were we taken into account. As a guest you simply wish there was better organization. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the food. We had three burgers and a portion of bacon cheese fries. The fries were completely soaked in fat. The cheese sauce tasted good, but the fries would have benefited from a little more bacon. The burger buns were not good at all. Overall very doughy in the mouth - not a pleasant consistency. The pickles tasted like hot dog pickles from IKEA and didn't go well with the burgers at all. The smashburger was poorly made: no real roasted flavor, no crispy edges, and far too much ketchup and not enough mustard. The taste of the double cheese was barely noticeable. The other two burgers were the Crunchy Chicken and the Korean Spicy Chicken. The Crunchy Chicken and Korean Spicy Chicken had good meat and breading, but the bad bun unfortunately ruined the entire burger experience. Finally we had a cheesecake. It was okay - obviously not a homemade cake, but okay. Better buns, different pickles and more heat for the Smashburger could raise the level significantly. Overall, we can't fully understand the many good reviews. Other burger joints in the neighborhood definitely do better.
