Im Royal India gibt es ausgezeichnetes Indisches Essen. Die vielen verschiedenen Speisen bieten alles von Fleischgerichten über vegetarisch bis hin zu vegan. Auch für weniger scharfe Geschmäcker gibt es sehr leckere Gerichte. Alles fühlt sich sehr authentisch an. Die Bedienungen und Köche sind Indisch und sprechen Deutsch und Englisch. Alle sind sehr zuvorkommend. Es gibt viele Plätze und daher immer die Chance auch spontan vorbei zu kommen. Eine absolute Empfehlung in Memmingen!

Authentisch & lecker, seit Jahren eins unserer Lieblingsrestaurants.

Das ist definitiv das beste Restaurant der Stadt. Die Speisekarte bietet eine große Auswahl, auch für Veganer. Wir lieben das Mittagsbuffet, das viermal wöchentlich angeboten wird. Das Essen ist immer frisch und lecker. Unbedingt probieren sollte man das traditionelle indische Eis und die Mangocreme zum Nachtisch. Die Inhaber sind eine Familie, die uns immer herzlich und freundlich empfängt. Die Atmosphäre ist angenehm und entspannend, untermalt von traditioneller Musik. Wir sind sehr froh, dieses tolle Restaurant in unserer Stadt zu haben.

Da ich nur indisches Essen aus London gewohnt bin und aber meine Frau schon länger nicht mehr indisch gegessen hat und wir durch Zufall in Memmingen auf das Restaurant gestoßen sind. Muß ich bzw. wir sagen, man kann sich wirklich freuen einen geschmacklich gutes Restaurant gefunden zu haben. Sehr gut.

Nachdem wir schon öfter mal da waren haben wir heute unseren Schlemmerblock eingelöst. Wir haben also angerufen vorab angemeldet dass wir mit dem Schlemmerblock essen möchten...der wurde heute auch akzeptiert. Einen Gruß aus der Küche bekommt man vorab wohl nur wenn man nicht mit dem Schlemmerblock zum Essen angekündigt ist. Den Likör nach dem Essen bekommt man auch nur wenn man den Schlemmerblock nicht eingelöst hat. Wir hatten bestellt und sehr gut gegessen. Unsere Tischdecke war auf beiden Seiten so sehr schmutzig dass ich gerne auf den Aperitif verzichtet habe. Meiner Meinung nach sollte man das Besteck wenn man die Tischdecken schon nicht wechselt, lieber auf Servietten legen . . Gerne hätten wir noch mehr getrunken oder einen Nachtisch bestellt, leider wurden wir nicht allzu sehr beachtet so dass mehrfach irgendjemand an uns vorbei gelaufen ist und unseren Tisch nicht bedienen wollte ...vorne an der Theke standen dann vier Personen bei denen wir dann wenigstens gnädigerweise noch bezahlen durften. Alles in allem kann ich dieses Restaurant zwar aufgrund der Speisen aber nicht aufgrund der Sauberkeit empfehlen.

Sehr leckeres Essen und ein aufmerksamer, freundlicher Service. Besonders das vegetarische Thali mit drei verschiedenen Gerichten ist sehr zu empfehlen. Im Sommer sitzt man draußen angenehm im Schatten. Gerne wieder.

Wir hatten ein köstliches indisches Mittagessen im Royal India. Das Personal ist außerdem sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Der Sevive war freundlich und schnell. Das Essen war lecker. Es war nur ziemlich kalt im Restaurant. Schön eingerichtet. Wir waren ohne Reservierung da, gar kein Problem.

Das Vegetable Thali war sehr lecker und der Service war top. Ambiente angenehm. Ich werde wiederkommen

Ein absolut herausragendes indisches Restaurant! Vom ersten Moment an fühlt man sich willkommen – der Service ist aufmerksam, herzlich und gleichzeitig sehr professionell. Die Speisen sind ein echtes Highlight: perfekt gewürzt, authentisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Jede Empfehlung des Teams war ein Volltreffer. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich, wie individuell auf Wünsche eingegangen wurde.

Wer authentische indische Küche sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Das Essen war köstlich und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Wir bestellten Butter Chicken und Knoblauch-Naan. Das Butter Chicken war sehr lecker und das Naan herrlich frisch und weich!

Essen und Service super. Leider etwas kalt im Raum. Hatte den Eindruck dass es "zieht".

Wir waren abends als Gruppe mit 12 Personen im Royal India. Alle waren begeistert von den leckeren Speisen und der Service war ebenfalls super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die bestellten Essen kamen recht schnell und wir haben auf Nachfrage sofort weitere Schalen mit Reis erhalten. Einige aus unserer Gruppe sind seit Jahren Stammgäste hier und ich weiß jetzt auch warum.

Wir essen mehrmals im Jahr hier und sind immer wieder begeistert. Sehr freundlicher Service und sehr leckeres Essen. Auch Lieferung klappt jedesmal perfekt und dieses Mal gab es sogar ein Dankeschön vom Haus. Vielen herzlichen Dank dafür 😁. Wir kommen bald wieder!

Ich bin, was die indische Küche angeht, vielleicht etwas verwöhnt, aber das geht besser...

I ate there with the Schlemmerblock (a German restaurant). We placed our order, and the food arrived after about 20 minutes – so far, everything was good. The food tasted really good, no complaints. However, the portions were significantly smaller than those of regular-paying customers. We paid a total of €24 for two dishes, and even so, the plates were barely filled – one dish had just four small scampi, the other three small pieces of meat. I think that's a real shame and unfair. Great taste, but the portion size was a flop – unfortunately disappointing for the price.

The dishes we chose were of impeccable quality and very aromatic. 👌 The price-performance ratio here is absolutely spot on. The service was also extremely friendly and attentive. 😊 For my personal taste, the food could have been spicier and more locally seasoned to achieve its full authenticity. 🌶️ However, I'm aware that this is often a necessary adjustment to the wider European clientele. Conclusion: Highly recommended – especially if you appreciate vegetarian cuisine. We'd be happy to come back! 👍

Delicious Indian food in the heart of Memmingen, Germany We ate outside on a lovely fall evening.

It was an amazing experience. Foord was closest to India that I have so far experienced in Germany. 10/10. Service and the ambience was as well superb. I can highly recommend the restaurant if you are feeling for true Indian Food. I will surely visit here again.

Went for an early dinner with our 1 year old an 3 year old kids. We where kindly greeted by the staff and they where very friendly in Helping is choose food friendly for kids and recommend dishes for us adults. Food was ready in 20 minuttes and it was very delicious. Our waiter checked up on us during the meal and the had lots of room for our kids. All this while still serving other customers. They Prices very fair and we will definetly return next time we travel through Germany.

One of the best Indian restaurants. I can only say it tastes so delicious, authentic cuisine. We tried vegetarian and meat dishes, both delicious. And the best was the tandoori mix. Marinated, juicy chicken. Great service. Tastes like home.

After that, you can go to an internist... There's hardly any hygiene when they lease something, unless an appointment is "known." They run the "fast-delivery restaurant" leases in the region, causing nothing but trouble for neighbors and neighboring businesses. When the "extended" family's straw man faces legal consequences, they take off and get someone else to take over... They have eight stores in the region alone that only sell warmed-up items. They've been operating this way for years...😂😂😂🔂

We ordered four dishes from the lunch menu today. The food arrived in about 30 minutes and wasn't bad, but the salads and chili naan were missing. There was a hair in one of the dishes, which was completely unacceptable. What a shame!

Friendly staff, good food again and again

I'm afraid to eat the food. I ordered for pickup and then got two 0.5l mango lassi to take away. The mango lassi was given to me in a PET bottle with the label ripped off. This is completely unhygienic, and I'm afraid the food is prepared the same way. Unfortunately, I don't recommend it. Update: The palak paneer tastes absolutely terrible, and the lamb curry is just as bad.

In Memmingen for business, traveling from the US. Stopped in with some colleagues as we were craving good Indian food, and we were not disappointed. My Kashmiri chicken was delicious and perfectly spiced with flavorful heat. My colleagues also thoroughly enjoyed their Chicken Tikka Masala and Tandoori platter. The service was top-notch and they were gracious with our lack of German, even providing English menus right off the bat. At the end, we realized we’d messed up by not having cash or a debit card to pay. The young man helping us took our company credit card regardless, saying we were guests here. That sort of gracious service is very much appreciated! I highly recommend Royal India to anyone in the Memmingen area who is looking for delicious Indian food and friendly service.

I had a delicious vegan and gluten-free meal. It also went very quickly. Highly recommended.

Otherwise I really enjoy eating here, the food is a bit more expensive but tastes really good. The conditions are very warm. Last night we had the okra vegetable from the vegan selection, which was great, and the surprise from the kitchen with 3 different dishes. The green one with potato had a strange taste, my friend just tried it, I didn't think anything of it and ate more of it than him. He started having a stomach ache in the evening, but the next day everything was relatively well again. I, on the other hand, got the full program of food poisoning... it's a shame, unfortunately we won't be coming back

We were there for the buffet. The food was very good. Only the poor salad wasn't that great. The atmosphere is outdated. One A refresher would be nice. The service was friendly, but could be improved. We would be happy to come back

Incredibly nice service as well as very tasty food. The price-performance ratio is also very good. The restaurant has a very oriental interior design and offers a good ambience. The young waitress is very nice. For dining indoors and outdoors in summer. But also very suitable for ordering and picking up.

The food was okay. First of all, there is no papadum. We had two vegetarian dishes, Palak Paneer and Vegetable Jalfrezi. Both were ordered spicy. The Vegetable Jalfrezi was quite good, spicy but far past spicy, but overall tasty. The Palak Paneer wasn't my thing at all, I definitely wouldn't order it again. And of course not spicy either. If the menu already mentions that you can order the spiciness in three different versions, then I would like it to be prepared accordingly. But the Garlic Naan was great. The service was very polite, everything was prepared very quickly. Regarding the ambience, everything is very old and needs to be renovated. But the whole thing wouldn't be a problem if the food was great. What bothered me was that it stuck all over the toilet, which you noticed/heard with every step.

We were in the restaurant once. The ambience is not particularly nice. The light is cold white and does not create a feel-good atmosphere. The food is just very, very good. Today we had the food delivered and it was just as excellent as in the restaurant. Simply a pleasure. Any time and gladly again. 👍👍👍

The food is just so incredibly delicious! Well seasoned, fresh ingredients, vegetables nice and crunchy, perfectly balanced! So far I haven't had a meal that wasn't delicious! What pleases me most is the large selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes

The food was by far the best Indian food I have ever eaten. The chef is really talented. Portions are decent, you don't have to get up hungry as is often the case with other Indians. Service was also very friendly. Absolutely recommended if you want to eat delicious Indian food.

On vacation we always find a nice Indian restaurant to eat at. This time we had dinner at Royal India Memmingen, situated on a quaint little plaza. We enjoyed our curries and the friendly service of the staff. Would recommend!

Indian restaurant in Memmingen, Germany. Food is reasonable. The service is fair and and the atmosphere is good. Went with a party of 18 people and ordered many different dishes, opinions varied from excellent to reasonable.

I ordered a Chicken Tikka Masalah (classic) and chili naan. Everything was great, the restaurant is cozy and the prices are affordable. I recommend going 100%

We tested the lunch buffet on Sunday. The staff got along really well with our group of children and were very, very friendly! The food was extremely tasty and the selection of different sauces and types of meat was absolutely sufficient. It's not cheap, but the price isn't outrageous either. Overall had a great lunch!

Sehr authentisches köstliches Essen am Mittagsbuffet. Leider war der Reis nur lauwarm und poulet wurde um 13.30 Uhr nicht mehr aufgefüllt. Im Topf hatte es nur noch Sauce. Es hatte jedoch noch genügend anderes. Wir mussten sehr lange auf die Getränke warten (kamen erst beim 2.Durchgang) obwohl der Kellner nicht wirklich gestresst wirkte. Alles in allem kann man für den Preis nichts sagen.

The restaurant deserves a lot, maybe it doesn't excel in details such as cutlery or plates but the food is really good, it's worth it. I always leave a review the next day for some restaurants, so I can see if I feel bad.

One of the best Indian Restaurants in Bavaria. The Chicken Reshmi kebab and rice were yummy. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere of the hotel was good too.

Really tasty, good and friendly service!

We came in by chance and got to the buffet just in time. You can choose your own food and sauces. There were fresh vegetables, lots of delicious sauces, as well as basmati rice and five different variations of main dishes. There were four of us and it was very tasty for everyone. For 12 euros this is a fabulous choice! The guys working in the restaurant were very smiling and helpful.

Wow, this is the third time we've eaten there and we think it tastes even better every time. I've never had such great Indian food here on Lake Constance. Nobody far and wide can keep up with that. We had a buffet lunch. The selection was very slim. You had to look for meat and fish in the sauces and there was so little. And that for €20.90 per person

Wir hatten Essen zum mitnehmen bestellt. Bei der Abholung hatte ich extra noch gezeigt, was wir bestellt hatten. Uns wurde zudem ein Essen untergejubelt was wir nicht bestellt hatten. Alle Gerichte waren geschmacklich so lala. Mit oben drauf, gab es noch Durchfall am nächsten Tag. Für 6 Personen hat das ganze 120€ gekostet.

Wir haben heute (01.01.2024) Essen zur Lieferung bestellt. Die Lieferung hat 3€ Aufpreis gekostet. Wir haben über Lieferando bestellt und dort hieß es, dass es zugestellt wurde, obwohl kein Essen da war. Wir haben mehrfach versucht anzurufen. Niemand ging ans Telefon und wir wurden an eine ungültige Nummer weitergeleitet. Es hat über 3 Stunden nach Bestellung (inkl. Bezahlung) gedauert, bis das Essen geliefert wurde. Als das Essen ankam, war es kalt. Wir mussten das Essen in die Mikrowelle tun. Geschmacklich ok, aber mehr auch nicht. Das Naan war zäh (wahrscheinlich weil es kalt war) und die Ente hatte Knorpel.

Mittagsbuffet nix besonderes. Preislich eher Obergrenze. Da fehlt was.

Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker & auch glutenfrei / vegan war kein Problem 😊 Wem es nicht scharf genug ist, bekommt auf Nachfrage eine scharfe Soße dazu. In Sachen Ambiente ist noch Luft nach oben.

Wir gingen zu zweit spontan in das Lokal. Es gab zur Auswahl à la Carte oder Mittagsbuffet. Wir entschieden uns für das Buffet. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Beratung war kompetent und auf den Punkt. Die Auswahl im Buffet war gut, hätte aber mehr sein können. So fehlten u. a. Suppen und Naan. Auch die Auswahl rein vegetarischer Gerichte war meines Erachtens zu wenig. Die einzelnen Gerichte waren gut und lecker, manche lagen aber scheinbar schon länger im Behälter und waren deswegen ein bisschen zäh. Ein Problem, welches es im Buffet oft vorkommt, nicht jedoch wenn das Gericht à la Carte bestellt wird. Die Toiletten sind auf den ersten Blick sauber, beim näheren Hinsehen finden sich schon ältere Spinnweben. Das Lokal selbst ist für Rollstuhlfahrer geeignet, aber die Toiletten sind zu eng.
