Delivery always on time as ordered. Portions are always very generous, although more meat would be good. Food in the restaurant tastes a lot better, but the service is often very slow, even though the restaurant is not fully occupied. Bring time. The selection when ordering online is not the same as the selection in the restaurant.

We come from Alsace specifically to taste a wonderful Indian meal. We searched for a long time but found it. The chef conjures up a royal aroma experience with the spices and herbs! The boss and staff are very friendly and committed Good luck

The food was delicious, we haven't eaten Indian food this well in a long time. It was served very nicely. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The prices are reasonable. We'll definitely be back. Royal India is fully recommended.

Ordered food yesterday after a few visits, it came quickly and as always everything was great: hot, well seasoned and varied in taste! Highly recommended and gladly again! :-)

We were here for the first time today. We had lunch and were both satisfied. The waiter was attentive and polite.

I have visited there several times over the years. At the beginning it was good but every time it got worse! For example, only 3 pieces of small chicken (each piece about 3 cm long) in the dish, which costs 15 euros. As well as lame. The sauce always tastes good, but the quality is poor. Rice or sauce is missing when taking away and delivery!

Super great! Nice ambience and nice service. The prices and the taste also deserve 5 stars. When we came to the restaurant there was no table occupied, so after a short wait we were welcomed and able to order our drinks. This was delivered very quickly and we still needed some time to order the food. These were served after a very short wait and were very tasty and delicious. We would recommend food from the tandoori, we had chili murg chicken and murg lamb. Great taste. Can only recommend the Royal India. Very, very tasty.

We were here as a small group. The food was very good, everything was perfect, the service was very nice and courteous, we will come back.

The staff and ambience are very good. When eating, the seasoning could be improved a bit. The spice profile of the sauces is very interesting but somehow something is still missing in the foreground.

Price/performance is great! The food, whether tandoori or normal, is very tasty! We were there twice in the evening and once at lunchtime. Depending on which waitress is there, the order works. Food was always served correctly. Beer is only available in bottles. The ambience is a mix of sober and kitschy (window decorations) At lunchtime there are plated meals.

We discovered the restaurant by chance and were thrilled. Very tasty and the service was excellent. The recommendations were very good. Price-performance is right! We'll come back here when we're nearby

We ate there today and were a bit skeptical at first because the restaurant didn't give the impression of being able to eat well from the outside and the shop was pretty empty. But that impression really didn't emerge. We treated ourselves to both dishes with a mixed plate as a starter and a nice Indian tea. It was so delicious that we ordered another one. But the main course has far overtaken the starter. My meal was served on a small stone board, on which the food still bloomed a bit. But first the food, served superbly and my palate just told me. WOW. The chicken is tender and juicy and the vegetables are crisp and fresh. I would recommend this store to anyone as I hardly expected anything and was so pleasantly surprised that I would like to come again.

Came across the place yesterday purely by chance. We are extremely enthusiastic about the food, the ambience and the warmth of the owner. Becomes our root local. There is a huge selection of food.

Wir waren jetzt bestimmt 10x im Royal India essen! Gestern abend spontan hingefahren und gleich einen Tisch bekommen. Wie immer superleckeres Essen! Nettes und aufmerksames Personal das bereits die bevorzugten Getränke kennt. Die Räumlichkeiten sind landestypisch dekoriert, hell und freundlich. Wer früher so manchen schönen Abend/Nacht im "Maxim" verbracht hat kann zudem noch in Erinnerungen schwelgen... :-)

Ich finde dass Essen schmeckt super und die Leute sind sehr freundlich. Wer indische Küche mag kommt hier auf seine absolut auf seine Kosten.

Jedesmal fehlt etwas, wenn man liefern lässt. Das Essen ist prinzipiell kalt, bis es ankommt. Geschmacklich schwankt es sehr von gut bis ok. Was aber viel ärgerlicher ist, es waren schon mehrfach Haare im Essen. Das war für uns die letzte Bestellung.

Sehr lecker und toller Service. Hinweis für Menschen die gerne scharf essen, unbedingt Bescheid geben beim Bestellvorgang, sonst sind auch die scharfen Gerichte nur mitteleuropäisch scharf :-)

Tip-Top. Waren nun ein paar Mal da und freuen uns, dass es in Bergzabern ein indisches Restaurant gibt. Die tolle Bedienung erkennt einen direkt wieder, alles in allem super. 🙂.

Lecker Essen und freundliche Bewirtung Gerne kommen wir wieder

Wir haben von der Mittagskarte bestellt, für die Kinder war es zu scharf, aber für die Erwachsenen genau richtig und superlecker.

Das Lokal macht einen sauberen Eindruck, ist aber sehr ungemütlich. Es gibt am Eingang einen leeren Raum rechts, links im Restaurant gibt es einige Tische an den Fenstern. In der Mitte des Restaurants eine große leere Fläche mit Fliesenboden und einem einzigen kleinen Tisch für 2 Personen. Ungewöhnlich ist es, wenn ein Kellner kommt, der kein Wort deutsch spricht und man sich im eigenen Land in Englisch verständigen muß. Später kam noch anderes Personal, das auch unsere Sprache beherrscht. Das Essen selbst war gut und gibt keinen Anlaß zur Beschwerde. Punktabzug gibts für das oben genannte.

Hatte was zum liefern bestellt und aufgrund meines Fehlers ging die Lieferung verloren. Ich habe kostenlos Ersatz bekommen. Besser kann man Service nicht machen! Vielen vielen lieben Dank dafür!

Waren 2 Mal vor Ort essen und haben einmal bestellt, war jedes Mal sehr lecker. Frisch schmeckts natürlich besser als eingepackt/geliefert. Wir arbeiten uns gerade zu dritt durch die vegetarische Karte und unser Favorit sind derzeit die Gemüsebällchen in Spinat, aber auch alles andere ist super lecker.

Wir waren heute zum Mittagstisch das erste Mal im Restaurant. Super freundlich empfangen und das Essen war sehr lecker! Wir kommen wieder :-)

Ein tolles Lokal, mit mega leckerem Essen. Die Auswahl ist umfangreich und Preis Leistung ist top. Man wird super nett empfangen. Die ganze Zeit des Aufenthaltes hat man sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Könnte ein Lieblingslokal werden, wenn es nicht so weit weg wäre.

Sehr lecker, siehe Foto-> Tandoori Chicken, total nette Bedienung, die meine flachen Witze gut und freundlich überstanden hat. Da gehe ich gerne wieder hin!!!

The mango chicken made me jump out of my seat and scream delicious. What a treat to have this spot in Bergzabern. The garlic naan could have been more garlicy but it did have a nice texture. Give this place a go!

Ich war dort schon zum 2. Mal und das essen was köstlich . Der Laden an sich ist auch super dekoriert und ich finde es schön das sie Kultur in ihr Restaurant reinbringen . Der Laden ist zu empfehlen

Sehr nette Leute und hervorragendes Essen. Kann sich locker mit den meisten indischen Restaurants messen, die ich kenne, auch in Großstädten.

Haare im Essen! Hatten Essen geliefert bekommen. Geschmacklich zu Beginn okay, nach dem ich jedoch ein Haar im Essen gefunden habe ist mir der Appetit vergangen. Bei meiner Partnerin waren 2 Haare im Essen....sowas kann nur passieren wenn unhygienisch gearbeitet wird. Zudem sind 15€ für ein Reisgericht meiner Meinung nach nicht gerechtfertigt. Danke, aber nein danke.
